1A psalm of David. I give praise to Yahweh with all my life, and with all that is within me, I give praise to his holy name.
2I give praise to Yahweh with all my life, and I remember all of his good deeds.
3He forgives all your sins; he heals all your diseases.
4He redeems your life from destruction; he crowns you with covenant faithfulness and acts of tender mercy.
5He satisfies your life with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
6Yahweh does what is fair and does acts of justice for all who are oppressed.
7He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the descendants of Israel.
8Yahweh is merciful and gracious; he is patient; he has great covenant loyalty.
9He will not always discipline; he is not always angry.
10He does not deal with us as our sins deserve or repay us for what our sins demand.
11For as the skies are high above the earth, so great is his covenant faithfulness toward those who honor him.
12As far as the east is from the west, this is how far he has removed the guilt of our sins from us.
13As a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who honor him.
14For he knows how we are formed; he knows that we are dust.
15As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower in a field.
16The wind blows over it, and it disappears, and no one can even tell where it once grew.
17But the covenant faithfulness of Yahweh is from everlasting to everlasting on those who honor him. His righteousness extends to their descendants.
18They keep his covenant and remember to obey his instructions.
19Yahweh has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over everyone.
20Give praise to Yahweh, you his angels, you mighty ones who are strong and do his word, and obey the sound of his word.
21Give praise to Yahweh, all his hosts, you are his servants who carry out his will.
22Give praise to Yahweh, all his creatures, in all the places where he reigns. I will give praise to Yahweh with all my life.
