Romans 2:13-19

¹³(for it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified;

¹⁴for whenever Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, these, not having the law, are a law unto themselves,

¹⁵who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience witnessing with them, and among themselves their thoughts accuse or even defend them),

¹⁶in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men according to my gospel through Jesus Christ.

¹⁷Behold, you are called a Jew, and rely on the law, and boast in God,

¹⁸and know His will, and approve the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law,

¹⁹and are convinced that you are a guide to the blind, a light to those in darkness,
