Romans 1:6-14

⁶(among these you also are called by Jesus Christ);

⁷to all the called saints who are in Rome, beloved of God: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Sovereign Jesus Christ.

⁸First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.

⁹Further, the God whom I serve with my spirit in the Gospel of His Son is my witness, how without ceasing I always remember you in my prayers,

¹⁰begging that perhaps now, at last, I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you.

¹¹For I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established

¹²—that is, that I may be encouraged among you by our mutual faith, both yours and mine.

¹³I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you (but was hindered until now), in order that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the rest of the Gentiles.

¹⁴I am a debtor both to Greeks and to non-Greeks, both to wise and to foolish.
