Numbers 19:2-6

²This is the decree of the law which the Lord hath commanded, saying: Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring to thee a red heifer, unblemished, with no spot in her, and upon which no yoke hath been put.

³And you shall give her unto Elazar the priest, that he may bring her without the camp, and (one) shall slaughter her before him.

⁴And Elazar, the priest, shall take (some) of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood against the face of the tabernacle of ordinance seven times.

⁵And (one) shall burn the heifer before his eyes; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her food shall he burn.

⁶And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.
