³⁰ But if Jehovah make a new thing, and the ground open its mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down alive into Sheol; then ye shall understand that these men have despised Jehovah.

³¹ And it came to pass, as he made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them;

³² and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

³³ So they, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into Sheol: and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly.

³⁰ But if the Lord shall shew by a wonder, and the earth shall open her mouth and swallow them up, and their houses, and their tents, and all that belongs to them, and they shall go down alive into Hades, then ye shall know that these men have provoked the Lord.

³¹ And when he ceased speaking all these words, the ground clave asunder beneath them.

³² And the ground opened, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that were with Core, and their cattle.

³³ And they went down and all that they had, alive into Hades; and the ground covered them, and they perished from the midst of the congregation.

³⁰ But if Yahweh does something that has never happened before, if he causes the ground that is under their feet to open up and swallow these men and their families and all their possessions, and they fall into the opening and are buried while they are still alive, then you will know that these men have insulted Yahweh.”

³¹ As soon as Moses/I said this, the ground split open beneath those men.

³² It swallowed them and their families and all those who were standing there with Korah and all of their possessions.

³³ They fell into the opening in the ground while they were still alive, and all their possessions fell into the opening also. They disappeared, and the ground closed back up again.

³⁰ But if the Lord shall show by a wonder, and the earth shall open her mouth and swallow them up, and their houses, and their tents, and all that belongs to them, and they shall go down alive into Hades, then you° shall know that these men have provoked the Lord.

³¹ And while these words were on his lips, the earth under them was parted in two;

³² And the earth, opening her mouth, took them in, with their families, and all the men who were joined to Korah, and their goods.

³³ So they and all theirs went down living into the underworld, and the earth was shut over them, and they were cut off from among the meeting of the people.

³⁰ but if Jehovah make a new thing, and the ground open its mouth, and swallow them up, and all that they have, and they go down alive into Sheol, then ye shall know that these men have despised Jehovah.

³¹ And it came to pass when he had ended speaking all these words, that the ground clave apart that was under them.

³² And the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men that belonged to Korah, and all their property.

³³ And they went down, they and all that they had, alive into Sheol, and the earth covered them; and they perished from among the congregation.

³⁰ But if the Lord do a new thing, and the earth opening her mouth swallow them down, and all things that belong to them, and they go down alive into hell, you shall know that they have blasphemed the Lord.

³¹ And immediately as he had made an end of speaking, the earth broke asunder under their feet:

³² And opening her mouth, devoured them with their tents and all their substance.

³³ And they went down alive into hell the ground closing upon them, and they perished from among the people.

³⁰ But if the Lord does something totally different, and the earth opens up and swallows them down along with everything that belongs to them so that they go down alive into Sheol, then you will know that these men have acted with contempt to the Lord.”

³¹ Immediately Moses finished saying all this the ground under the rebels split apart,

³² and the earth opened up and swallowed them and their households down, as well as everyone who was there with Korah and everything that belonged to them.

³³ They went down alive into Sheol with all that they had. The earth closed over them, and they were no more.

³⁰ But if the Lord make a newe thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallowe them vp with all that they haue, and they goe downe quicke into ye pit, then ye shall vnderstand that these men haue prouoked the Lord.

³¹ And assoone as he had made an ende of speaking all these wordes, euen the ground claue asunder that was vnder them,

³² And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them vp, with their families, and all the men that were with Korah, and all their goods.

³³ So they and all that they had, went down aliue into the pit, and the earth couered them: so they perished from among the Congregation.

³⁰ But if the LORD make a new thing, and the ground open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down alive into the pit, then ye shall understand that these men have despised the LORD.'

³⁰ But if the Lord create a creation, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, and all that is theirs, and they go down alive into Sheul, then you will know that these men have caused anger before the Lord.

³¹ And it was, when he had finished to speak all these words, that the ground under them clave asunder,

³² and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and the men of their houses; and all the men of Korach, and all their substance,

³³ they, and all who were theirs, went down alive into Sheul; and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the congregation.

³⁰ But if Adonai makes a new thing, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up, with all that belong to them, and they go down alive into Sheol ·Place of the dead·; then you shall understand that these men have despised Adonai .”

³⁰ But if Yahweh creates something new, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them, with everything that they possess, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you must understand that these men have despised Yahweh.”

³⁰ but if the Lord doeth a new thing, that the earth open his mouth, and swallow them, and all things that pertain to them, and they go down quick into hell, ye shall know that they blasphemed the Lord. (but if the Lord doeth a new thing, yea, and the earth open its mouth, and swallow them, and all things that pertain to them, and they go down alive into hell, or to Sheol, then ye shall know that they blasphemed against the Lord.)

³¹ Therefore anon as he ceased to speak, the earth was broken under their feet, (And so as soon as he ceased to speak, the ground broke up under their feet,)

³² and the earth opened his mouth, and devoured them, with their tabernacles, and all their chattel; (and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them, and their tents, and all their possessions;)

³³ and they went down quick, into hell, and were covered with earth, and they perished from the midst of the multitude. (and they went down alive into hell, or to Sheol, and then they were covered with earth, and so they perished from the midst of the multitude.)

³⁰ the Lord sente not me; but if the Lord doith a newe thing, that the erthe opene his mouth, and swolewe hem, and alle thingis that perteynen to hem, and thei goen doun quyke in to helle, ye schulen wite that thei blasfemeden the Lord.

³¹ Therfor anoon as he cesside to speke, the erthe was brokun vndur her feet,

³² and the erthe openyde his mouth, and deuowride hem, with her tabernaclis, and al the catel `of hem;

³³ and thei yeden doun quike in to helle, and weren hilid with erthe, and perischiden fro the myddis of the multitude.

³⁰ and if a strange thing Jehovah do, and the ground hath opened her mouth and swallowed them, and all that they have, and they have gone down alive to Sheol — then ye have known that these men have despised Jehovah.'

³¹ And it cometh to pass at his finishing speaking all these words, that the ground which is under them cleaveth,

³² and the earth openeth her mouth, and swalloweth them, and their houses, and all the men who are for Korah, and all the goods,

³³ and they go down, they, and all that they have, alive to Sheol, and the earth closeth over them, and they perish from the midst of the assembly;
