⁶ And he commandeth the multitude to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he brake, and gave to his disciples, to set before them; and they set them before the multitude.

⁷ And they had a few small fishes: and having blessed them, he commanded to set these also before them.

⁸ And they ate, and were filled: and they took up, of broken pieces that remained over, seven baskets.

⁹ And they were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

¹⁰ And straightway he entered into the boat with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

¹¹ And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, trying him.

¹² And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

¹³ And he left them, and again entering into the boat departed to the other side.

¹⁴ And they forgot to take bread; and they had not in the boat with them more than one loaf.

¹⁵ And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.

¹⁶ And they reasoned one with another, saying, We have no bread.

¹⁷ And Jesus perceiving it saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? do ye not yet perceive, neither understand? have ye your heart hardened?

¹⁸ Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

¹⁹ When I brake the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.

²⁰ And when the seven among the four thousand, how many basketfuls of broken pieces took ye up? And they say unto him, Seven.

²¹ And he said unto them, Do ye not yet understand?

²² And they come unto Bethsaida. And they bring to him a blind man, and beseech him to touch him.

²³ And he took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village; and when he had spit on his eyes, and laid his hands upon him, he asked him, Seest thou aught?

²⁴ And he looked up, and said, I see men; for I behold them as trees, walking.

²⁵ Then again he laid his hands upon his eyes; and he looked stedfastly, and was restored, and saw all things clearly.

²⁶ And he sent him away to his home, saying, Do not even enter into the village.

⁶ Jesus commanded the crowd, “Sit down on the ground!” After they sat down, he took the seven loaves, he thanked God for them, he broke them into pieces and started giving them to his disciples in order that they might distribute them to the people.

⁷ They found that they also had a few small dried fish. So after he thanked God for these, he told the disciples, “Distribute these also.” After they distributed the bread and fish to the crowd,

⁸ the people ate this food and they had plenty to satisfy them. The disciples collected the pieces of food that were left over. They filled seven large baskets full of those pieces.

⁹ They estimated that there were about four thousand people who ate on that day.

¹⁰ Then Jesus dismissed the crowd. Immediately after that, he got into the boat along with his disciples, and they went around Lake Galilee to Dalmanutha district.

¹¹ In those days some Pharisees came to Jesus. They asked him to perform a miracle that would show that God had sent him. They wanted to find a way by which they could convince the people to reject him. So they started to argue with him.

¹² Jesus sighed quietly to himself, and then he said, “I am disgusted that RHQ, even though you people have seen how I have healed people, you keep asking me to perform miracles! Note this: Such a miracle will certainly not be shown {I will certainly not show such a miracle} just for you people!”

¹³ Then he left them. He got into the boat again, along with his disciples, and they went further around Lake Galilee.

¹⁴ The disciples had forgotten to bring along enough food. Specifically, they had only one flat loaf of bread with them in the boat.

¹⁵ As they were going, Jesus warned them against the attitudes the Pharisees and Herod Antipas had, attitudes that were having a bad effect on other people. He did this by telling them a parable. He said, “Be careful! Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod!”

¹⁶ The disciples misunderstood him. So they said to one another, “ He must have said that because we have no bread.”

¹⁷ Jesus knew what they were discussing among themselves. So he said to them, “◄ I am disappointed that you are discussing about your not having enough bread!/Why are you discussing about your not having enough bread?► RHQ ◄You should understand by now that I can provide miraculously for you if you need food!/Why do you not yet perceive or understand that I can provide miraculously for you if you need food?► RHQ ◄You are not thinking!/Why are you not thinking?► RHQ

¹⁸ ◄I am also disappointed that, although you have eyes, you do not understand what you see!/Why is it that, although you have eyes, you do not understand what you see?► RHQ You have ears, but you do not understand what I say RHQ!” Then he asked, “Do you not remember what happened

¹⁹ when I broke only five loaves and fed the five thousand people RHQ? Not only was everyone satisfied, but there was food left over How many baskets full of pieces of bread that were left over did you collect?” They replied, “We collected twelve baskets full.”

²⁰ Then he asked, “When I broke the seven loaves in order to feed the four thousand people, again when everyone had plenty to eat, how many large baskets of pieces of bread that were left over did you collect?” They replied, “ We collected seven large baskets full.”

²¹ Then he kept saying to them, “◄ I am disappointed that you do not understand yet that you should never worry that you do not have enough food!/Why do you not understand yet that you should never worry that you do not have enough food?►” RHQ

²² They arrived in the boat at Bethsaida town. People brought to Jesus a blind man and earnestly requested that Jesus touch him in order to heal him.

²³ Jesus took the hand of the blind man, led him outside the town, he put his saliva on the man's eyes, he put his hands on the man, and then he asked him, “Do you see anything?”

²⁴ The man looked up and then he said, “ Yes, I see people! They are walking around, but I cannot see them clearly. They look like trees!”

²⁵ Then Jesus again touched the eyes of the blind man. The man looked intently and at that moment he was completely healed! He could see everything clearly.

²⁶ Jesus said to him, “Do not go into the town! First go straight home and tell the people there about what I did!” Then he sent the man to his home.

⁸ And they took the food, and had enough; and they took up seven baskets full of the broken bits.

⁹ And there were about four thousand people: and he sent them away.

¹⁰ And he got into the boat with his disciples straight away, and came into the country of Dalmanutha.

¹¹ And the Pharisees came out and put questions to him, requesting from him a sign from heaven, testing him.

¹² And he was very sad in spirit, and said, Why is this generation looking for a sign? truly, I say to you, No sign will be given to this generation.

¹³ And he went away from them, and again got into the boat and went across to the other side.

¹⁴ And they had taken no thought to get bread; and they had only one cake of bread with them in the boat.

¹⁵ And he said to them, Take care to be on the watch against the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.

¹⁶ And they said to one another, We have no bread.

¹⁷ And Jesus, hearing it, said to them, Why are you reasoning among yourselves because you have no bread? do you still not see, and is it still not clear to you? are your hearts so hard?

¹⁸ Having eyes, do you not see? and having ears, have you no hearing? and have you no memory?

¹⁹ When I made a division of the five cakes of bread among the five thousand, what number of baskets full of broken bits did you take up? They said to him, Twelve.

²⁰ And when the seven among the four thousand, what number of baskets full of broken bits did you take up? And they said to him, Seven.

²¹ And he said to them, Is it still not clear to you?

²² And they came to Beth-saida. And they took a blind man to him, requesting him to put his hands on him.

²³ And he took the blind man by the hand, and went with him out of the town; and when he had put water from his mouth on his eyes, and put his hands on him, he said, Do you see anything?

²⁴ And looking up, he said, I see men; I see them like trees, walking.

²⁵ Then again he put his hands on his eyes; and looking hard, he was able to see, and saw all things clearly.

²⁶ And he sent him away to his house, saying, Do not even go into the town.

⁷ And they had a few small fish; and having blessed them, He said to set them before the people.

⁸ So they ate and were filled, and they took up an abundance of fragments, seven hampers full.

⁹ Now those having eaten were about four thousand. And He dismissed them.

¹⁰ And immediately stepping into the boat with His disciples, He came to the region of Dalmanutha.

¹¹ Then the Pharisees came out and began to question Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, testing Him.

¹² And sighing deeply in His spirit, He said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Assuredly I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.”

¹³ And having dismissed them, and stepping into the boat again, He went away to the other side.

¹⁴ And they forgot to take bread, and except for one loaf, they did not have any with themselves in the boat.

¹⁵ Then He charged them, saying, “Look out, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”

¹⁶ And they were reasoning among themselves, saying, “Because we have no bread.”

¹⁷ But Jesus, knowing about it, said to them, “Why are you reasoning because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Is your heart still hardened?

¹⁸ Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?

¹⁹ When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.”

²⁰ “And when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many hampers full of fragments did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.”

²¹ So He said to them, “How is it you do not understand?”

²² Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and implored Him to touch him.

²³ And having taken the hand of the blind man, He led him outside the village, and having spit on his eyes, and having laid His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.

²⁴ And when he looked up he said, “I see men like trees, walking.”

²⁵ Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him to look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly again.

²⁶ Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the village, nor tell anyone in the village.”

⁶ So He told the crowd to sit down on the ground; then taking the seven loaves and giving thanks, He broke them and gave them to His disciples to set before the crowd, and they did.

⁷ They also had a few small fish; so blessing them He said to distribute them as well.

⁸ Well they ate and were filled; they even took up seven hampers of broken pieces that were left over.

⁹ Now those who had eaten were about four thousand; and He sent them away.

¹⁰ Then He got right into the boat with His disciples and went to the region of Dalmanutha.

¹¹ The Pharisees came out and began to argue with Him, requesting of Him a sign from heaven, by way of testing Him.

¹² But He sighed deeply in His spirit and said: “Why does this generation seek a sign? I tell you emphatically, no sign shall be given to this generation!”

¹³ Turning His back on them, He got back into the boat and went off to the other side.

¹⁴ (His disciples had forgotten to take bread; they did not have more than one loaf with them in the boat.)

¹⁵ And He charged them, saying, “Watch out; beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”

¹⁶ So they started reasoning among themselves, saying, “It's because we have no bread.”

¹⁷ Being aware of it Jesus said to them: “Why are you reasoning because you have no bread? Do you still neither perceive nor understand? Do you still have hearts that have been hardened?

¹⁸ Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear, and do you not remember?

¹⁹ When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of pieces did you take up?” They say to Him, “Twelve.”

²⁰ “And when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many hampers full of pieces did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.”

²¹ So He said to them, “How is it that you still don't understand?”

²² Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him and begged Him to touch him.

²³ So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village; then spitting into his eyes and laying hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.

²⁴ And looking up he said, “I do see men, only they look like walking trees.”

²⁵ Then He put His hands on his eyes again, and made him look up; and he was restored and saw everyone clearly.

²⁶ Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the village nor tell anyone in the village.”

⁶ He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves of bread, and gave thanks. He broke the bread and handed the pieces to his disciples to give to the crowd.

⁷ They had a few fish as well, so having blessed them, he said, “Take these and share them too.”

⁸ They ate until they were full, and then collected up seven baskets of leftovers.

⁹ There were four thousand people there. After sending them on their way,

¹⁰ Jesus climbed into a boat with his disciples and went to the region of Dalmanutha.

¹¹ The Pharisees arrived and began to argue with him, wanting him to give them a miraculous sign from heaven, trying to get him to prove himself.

¹² Jesus sighed deeply, and asked, “Why do you people want a sign? I tell you the truth: I will not give you a sign.”

¹³ So he left them behind, climbed into the boat, and went back across the lake.

¹⁴ But the disciples had forgotten to bring bread with them. All they had in the boat was one loaf.

¹⁵ “Watch out—beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and of Herod!” he warned them.

¹⁶ “He's saying that because we don't have any bread,” they concluded.

¹⁷ Jesus knew what they were saying, and said, “Why are you talking about not having any bread? Are you still not thinking and not understanding? Have you closed your minds?

¹⁸ You've got eyes to see, haven't you? And ears to hear?

¹⁹ Don't you remember when I shared five loaves among five thousand? How many basketfuls of leftovers did you pick up?” “Twelve,” they replied.

²⁰ “And the seven loaves divided among four thousand. How many basketfuls of leftovers did you pick up?” “Seven,” they answered.

²¹ “Do you still not understand?” he asked them.

²² They went to Bethsaida where some people brought a blind man to Jesus. They begged Jesus to touch him and heal him.

²³ Jesus took the blind man by the hand and took him outside the village. Jesus spat on the man's eyes and touched him with his hands. Then Jesus asked him, “Can you see anything?”

²⁴ The man looked around, and said, “I can see people, but they look like trees walking.”

²⁵ So Jesus touched the man's eyes again. He could see properly—he was cured and his sight was clear.

²⁶ Jesus sent the man home, and told him, “Don't go back through the village.”

⁶ Then he commanded the multitude to sit downe on the grounde: and hee tooke the seuen loaues, and gaue thankes, brake them, and gaue to his disciples to set before them, and they did set them before the people.

⁷ They had also a few small fishes: and when he had giuen thankes, he commanded them also to be set before them.

⁸ So they did eate, and were sufficed, and they tooke vp of the broken meate that was left, seuen baskets full.

⁹ (And they that had eaten, were about foure thousand) so he sent them away.

¹⁰ And anon he entred into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

¹¹ And the Pharises came foorth, and began to dispute with him, seeking of him a signe from heauen, and tempting him.

¹² Then hee sighed deepely in his spirit, and saide, Why doeth this generation seeke a signe? Verely I say vnto you, a signe shall not be giuen vnto this generation.

¹³ So he left them, and went into the ship againe, and departed to the other side.

²⁶ And hee sent him home to his house, saying, Neither goe into the towne, nor tell it to any in the towne.

⁶ They also had a few small fish. Jesus said to them, “Tell them to sit on the ground.” After that he picked up the dampers, the fish also, he said to God, “You are the one who gave us this food. Thank you! You have helped us! You are good!” Then he broke the dampers into pieces, he gave them to his men, he gave them the fish also, the said to them, “Give this food and meat to them.” That's what they did.

⁸ At that time very many people ate, 4,000 men ate till they were full. Then Jesus told them, “Yes, off you go to your own countries.” After that Jesus' men picked up the leftovers, they filled 7 big carrying dishes with leftovers.

¹⁰ After that Jesus got into the dinghy, his men also, they went to that country Dalmanutha.

²² Jesus went to that town Bethsaida. Some people brought to him a man on a lead, he was truly blind, he could not see. They begged Jesus, “Touch him to make him well.”

²³ Jesus took the blind man by the hand to outside the town. He spat on his own hand, he touched the spit, he put it on the man's eyes, he asked him, “Do you see?”

²⁴ The man looked around a bit, he said to him, “I see people blurrily. I think they look like trees. My eyes deceive me. They are not trees. They have been walking around.”

²⁵ Again Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. The man was looking carefully, he saw well.

²⁶ Jesus sent him to his camp. He told him, “Do not go to that town, do not tell them I did this for you.”

⁶ And he ordered the multitude to lie down on the ground; and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and broke, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they set them before the multitude.

¹⁷ Yeshua Salvation, perceiving it, said to them, “Why do you reason that it’s because you have no bread? Don’t you perceive yet, neither understand? Is your heart still hardened?

¹⁸ Having eyes, don’t you see? Having ears, don’t you hear? Don’t you remember?

²¹ He asked them, “Don’t you understand, yet?”

²² He came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him, and begged him to touch him.

²³ He took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village. When he had spit on his eyes, and laid his hands on him, he asked him if he saw anything.

²⁴ He looked up, and said, “I see men; for I see them like trees walking.”

²⁵ Then again he laid his hands on his eyes. He looked intently, and was restored, and saw everyone clearly.

²⁶ He sent him away to his house, saying, “Don’t enter into the village, nor tell anyone in the village.”

⁶ Then Jesus told the people to sit down on the ground. Then he picked up the 7 loaves and said, “Thank you God for this bread.” Then Jesus broke it up and gave it to his followers, and they gave it out to all the people.

⁷ Somebody had some small fish and gave them to Jesus, and again he said, “Thank you God for these fish.” Then Jesus gave the fish to his followers to give out to the people.

⁸ They all ate and ate until they were full. There was a lot left over. The people picked up all the bits from the ground and they filled up 7 baskets with food.

⁹ After the people finished that feed Jesus told them to go home. There were 4,000 people in that big mob that had a feed that day.

¹⁰ Straight away Jesus and his close followers got into a boat and went to a place called Dalmanutha, on the other side of the lake.

¹¹ There were some Jewish law men called Pharisees there at that place. They heard people say that Jesus was there and they came to talk to him. They wanted to trick him, so they started to argue with him. They asked him, “Can you do something special with power, to show that God sent you?”

¹² Jesus was a little bit upset. He breathed deeply and said, “You mob that are alive today always want to see something powerful before you will believe that God sent me. Listen, I’m telling you straight, I will not do anything powerful for you mob here now.”

¹³ Then Jesus and his followers walked away from those Pharisees and got into a boat and went across to the other side of the lake.

¹⁴ But Jesus’s followers didn’t buy any food at Dalmanutha. They forgot to do it. Then, in the boat half way across the lake, they remembered about it. They looked into their food bag and saw that they only had one loaf of bread.

¹⁵ Jesus talked to his followers. He said, “You know that we put that yeast into flour to make it rise up, to make it into bread. Well, I’m telling you this, stay away from the yeast that comes from those Pharisee law men, and stay away from the yeast that comes from the big boss called King Herod.”

¹⁶ The men didn’t understand what Jesus meant, and they started to talk to each other about it. They said, “We didn’t get enough bread for the trip, so now he’s growling at us.”

¹⁷ Jesus knew what they said to each other, and he said, “Why are you mob arguing about bread? You still haven’t learned about me. You don’t understand me. Maybe your minds are closed.

¹⁸ You’ve got eyes but you don’t look. You’ve got ears but you don’t listen. You don’t remember anything, do you?

¹⁹ Do you remember the time we had 5 loaves of bread and I gave food to 5,000 men? How many baskets of left over bits did you pick up?” The men said, “12 baskets full.”

²⁰ Then Jesus said, “Do you remember the time we had 7 loaves of bread and I gave food to 4,000 people? How many baskets of left over bits did you pick up?” The men said, “7 baskets full.”

²¹ Jesus asked them, “So how come you still don’t understand about me?”

²² Jesus and his followers came to a place called Bethsaida on the west side of Lake Galilee, and they got out of the boat. Some people brought a blind man up to him and asked Jesus to touch him and make him better.

²³ Jesus held the man’s hand and led him outside the community. Then Jesus spat on the man’s eyes and then put his hands on him and said, “Can you see anything now?”

²⁴ The man looked around and said, “Yes, I can see a little bit. I can see people, but they look like trees walking around.”

²⁵ So Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes again. Then the man carefully looked around again, and his eyes were properly better, and he saw everything clearly.

²⁶ Jesus told the man to go straight home. He said, “As you walk home, don’t go into that community. Don’t let anyone see that I made you better.”

⁶ And he commaunded the people to syt doune on the grounde. And he toke the .vii. loves gave thankes brake and gave to his disciples to set before them. And they dyd set the before the people.

⁷ And they had a feawe smale fysshes. And he blessed them and commaunded them also to be set before them.

⁸ And they ate and were suffysed: And they toke vp yf the broken meate that was lefte .vii. baskettes full.

⁹ And they that ate were in nomber aboute fowre thousand. And he sent them awaye.

¹⁰ And a none he entred into a ship with his disciples and came into the parties of Dalmanutha.

¹¹ And the pharises cam forth and begane to dispute with him sekinge of him a signe from heven and temptinge him.

¹² And he sygthed in his sprete and sayde: why doth this generacion seke a signe? Verely I saye vnto you ther shall no signe be geven vnto this generacion.

¹³ And he lefte the and went into the ship agayne and departed over the water.

¹⁴ And they had forgotten to take breed with the nether had they in the ship with them more then one loofe.

¹⁵ And he charged the sayinge. Take hede and beware of the leven of the pharises and of the leve of Herode.

¹⁶ And they reasoned amonge the selves sayinge: we have no breed

¹⁷ And when Iesus knewe that he sayde vnto the: why take ye thought because ye have no bread perceave ye not yet nether vnderstonde? Have ye youre hertes yet blynded?

¹⁸ Have ye eyes and se not? and have ye eares and heare not? Do ye not remember?

²³ And he caught the blynde by the honde and leade him out of the toune and spat in his eyes and put his hondes apon him and axed him whether he saw ought.

²⁴ And he loked vp and sayde: I se the men: For I se the walke as they were trees.

²⁵ After that he put his hondes agayne apon his eyes and made him see. And he was restored to his sight and sawe every man clerly.

²⁶ And he sent him home to his housse sayinge: nether goo into the toune nor tell it to eny in the toune.

⁶ He commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground. He took the seven loaves, gave thanks, and broke them. He gave them to his disciples to set before them, and they set them before the crowd.

⁷ They also had a few small fish, and after he gave thanks for them, he commanded the disciples to serve these as well.

⁸ They ate and were satisfied, and they picked up the remaining broken pieces, seven large baskets.

⁹ There were about four thousand people. Then he sent them away.

¹⁰ Immediately he got into the boat with his disciples, and they went into the region of Dalmanutha.

¹¹ Then the Pharisees came out and began to argue with him. They sought from him a sign from heaven, to test him.

¹² He sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek for a sign? Truly I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation.”

¹³ Then he left them, got into a boat again, and went away to the other side.

¹⁴ Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread with them. They had no more than one loaf of bread in the boat.

¹⁵ He warned them and said, “Keep watch and be on guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod.”

¹⁶ The disciples reasoned with each other, “It is because we have no bread.”

¹⁷ Jesus was aware of this, and he said to them, “Why are you reasoning about not having bread? Do you not yet perceive? Do you not understand? Have your hearts become so dull?

¹⁸ You have eyes, do you not see? You have ears, do you not hear? Do you not remember?

¹⁹ When I broke the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces of bread did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.”

⁷ And thei hadden a few smale fischis; and he blesside hem, and comaundide, that thei weren sette forth.

⁸ And thei eten, and weren fulfillid; and thei token vp that that lefte of relifs, seuene lepis.

⁹ And thei that eeten, weren as foure thousynde of men; and he lefte hem.

¹⁰ And anoon he wente vp in to a boot, with hise disciplis, and cam in to the coostis of Dalmamytha.

¹¹ And the Farisees wenten out, and bigunnen to dispuyte with hym, and axiden a tokne of hym fro heuene, and temptiden hym.

¹² And he sorewynge `with ynne in spirit, seide, What sekith this generacioun a tokne? Treuli Y seie to you, a tokene schal not be youun to this generacioun.

¹³ And he lefte hem, and wente vp eftsoone in to a boot, and wente ouer the see.

¹⁷ And whanne this thing was knowun, Jhesus seide to hem, What thenken ye, for ye han not looues? Yit ye knowun not, ne vndurstonden; yit ye han youre herte blyndid.

¹⁸ Ye hauynge iyen, seen not, and ye hauynge eeris, heren not; nethir ye han mynde,

²³ and having taken the hand of the blind man, he led him forth without the village, and having spit on his eyes, having put his hands on him, he was questioning him if he doth behold anything:

²⁴ and he, having looked up, said, 'I behold men, as I see trees, walking.'

²⁵ Afterwards again he put his hands on his eyes, and made him look up, and he was restored, and discerned all things clearly,

²⁶ and he sent him away to his house, saying, 'Neither to the village mayest thou go, nor tell it to any in the village.'
