Luke 8:9-11 in English

⁹ And his disciples asked him what this parable might be.

¹⁰ And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

¹¹ Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

¹⁰ He said, “God is revealing to you what he did not reveal before, about how he wants to rule MET over people's lives. But when I am telling other people about these things, I tell them only in parables. The result will be like a prophet predicted long ago: They will see what I am doing, but will not perceive what it means. They will hear what I am saying, but will not understand it.

¹¹ So this is the meaning of that parable: The seeds represent God's message.

¹⁰ Jesus replied, “You've been given insights into the mysteries of God's kingdom, but the rest are given illustrations, so that, ‘Even though they see, they don't really see; and even though they hear, they don't really understand.’

⁹ Then his disciples asked him, demaunding what parable that was.

¹⁰ And he sayd, Vnto you it is giuen to know the secrets of ye kingdome of God, but to other in parables, that when they see, they shoulde not see, and when they heare, they should not vnderstand.
