³⁹ Return to thy house, and declare how great things God hath done for thee. And he went his way, publishing throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done for him.

⁴⁰ And as Jesus returned, the multitude welcomed him; for they were all waiting for him.

⁴¹ And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him to come into his house;

³⁹ Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

⁴⁰ And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

⁴¹ And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:

⁴⁰ When Jesus and the disciples returned to Capernaum, a crowd of people who had been waiting for him welcomed him.

⁴¹ Just then a man named Jairus, who was one of the leaders ◄of the synagogue/of the Jewish meeting place► there, came near and prostrated himself at Jesus' feet. He pleaded with Jesus, “Please come to my house and heal my daughter,

³⁹ “Return to your house, and declare what great things God has done for you.” He went his way, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.

⁴¹ Then there came a man named Jairus, who was a ruler in the Synagogue: and he went down at the feet of Jesus, desiring him to come to his house;

⁴⁰ And it came to pass when Jesus returned, the crowd received him gladly, for they were all expecting him.

⁴¹ And behold, a man came, whose name was Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue, and falling at the feet of Jesus besought him to come to his house,

³⁹ Return to thy house, and tell how great things God hath done to thee. And he went through the whole city, publishing how great things Jesus had done to him.

⁴⁰ And it came to pass, that when Jesus was returned, the multitude received him: for they were all waiting for him.

⁴¹ And behold there came a man whose name was Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at the feet of Jesus, beseeching him that he would come into his house:

³⁹ “Return to your house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he departed, proclaiming throughout the whole city all the things that Jesus did for him.

⁴⁰ So it was, when Jesus returned, that the crowd welcomed Him, for they were all waiting for Him.

⁴¹ And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a leader of the synagogue. And falling at the feet of Jesus, he was imploring Him to enter into his house,

³⁹ “Return to your house and recount how much God has done for you.” So he went his way and proclaimed all over town how much Jesus had done for him.

⁴⁰ Now it happened, when Jesus returned, that the crowd welcomed Him, because they were all waiting for Him.

⁴¹ And then, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue; he fell down at Jesus' feet and started begging Him to come to his house,

³⁹ “Go back home, and tell people all that God has done for you,” Jesus told him. So he went away, telling the whole town all that Jesus had done for him.

⁴⁰ A crowd of people was there to welcome Jesus when he returned, all eagerly expecting him.

⁴¹ One was a man called Jairus, a synagogue leader, who came and fell at Jesus' feet. He pleaded with Jesus to come to his home

³⁹ Returne into thine owne house, and shewe what great things God hath done to thee. So hee went his way, and preached throughout all the citie, what great things Iesus had done vnto him.

⁴⁰ And it came to passe, when Iesus was come againe, that the people receiued him: for they all waited for him.

⁴¹ And beholde, there came a man named Iairus, and he was the ruler of the Synagogue, who fell downe at Iesus feete, and besought him that he would come into his house.

⁴¹ And a man named Jairus, who was a synagogue leader, came to Jesus, and threw himself at Jesus' feet, with entreaties that he would come to his house,

³⁹ “Teshuvah ·Completely return· to your house, and declare what great things God has done for you.” He went his way, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Yeshua Salvation had done for him.

⁴⁰ When Yeshua Salvation teshuvah ·completely returned·, the multitude welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.

⁴¹ Behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. He fell down at Yeshua Salvation's feet, and begged him to come into his house,

³⁹ Goo home agayne into thyne awne housse and shewe what great thinges God hath done to the. And he went his waye and preached thorow out all the cite what great thinges Iesus had done vnto him.

⁴⁰ And it fortuned when Iesus was come agayne that the people receaved him. For they all wayted for him.

⁴¹ And beholde ther came a man named Iairus (and he was a ruler of the synagoge) and he fell doune at Iesus fete and besought him that he wolde come into his housse

³⁹ “Return to your home and give a full account of what God has done for you.” The man went on his way, proclaiming throughout the whole city what Jesus had done for him.

⁴⁰ Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him.

⁴¹ Behold, a man named Jairus, who was one of the leaders of the synagogue, came and fell down at Jesus' feet, and he begged him to come to his house,

⁴¹ And lo! a man, to whom the name was Jairus, and he was a prince of a synagogue; and he fell down at the feet of Jesus, and prayed him, that he should enter into his house,

³⁹ Go again into thine house, and tell how great things God hath done to thee. And he went through all the city, and preached, how great things Jesus had done to him. (Return to thine house, and to thy people, and tell them what great things God hath done for thee. And so he went through all the city, and preached, what great things Jesus had done for him.)

⁴⁰ And it was done, when Jesus was gone (home) again or when Jesus had gone (home) again, the people received him; for all were abiding him (or for all of them were waiting for him).

⁴¹ And lo! a man, to whom the name was Jairus, and he was a prince of a synagogue (or and he was a leader of a synagogue); and he fell down at the feet of Jesus, and prayed him (or beseeched him), that he should enter into his house,

³⁹ and seide, Go ayen in to thin hous, and telle hou grete thingis God hath don to thee. And he wente thorow al the cite, and prechide, hou grete thingis Jhesus hadde don to hym.

⁴⁰ And it was don, whanne Jhesus was gon ayen, the puple resseyuede hym; for alle weren abidynge hym.

⁴¹ And lo! a man, to whom the name was Jayrus, and he was prynce of a synagoge; and he fel doun at the feet of Jhesu, and preiede hym, that he schulde entre in to his hous,

³⁹ 'Turn back to thy house, and tell how great things God did to thee;' and he went away through all the city proclaiming how great things Jesus did to him.

⁴⁰ And it came to pass, in the turning back of Jesus, the multitude received him, for they were all looking for him,

⁴¹ and lo, there came a man, whose name is Jairus, and he was a chief of the synagogue, and having fallen at the feet of Jesus, was calling on him to come to his house;
