John 15:23-27

²³He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.

²⁴If I had not done among them the works which no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.

²⁵But this cometh to pass, that the word may be fulfilled that is written in their Law: “They hated me without a cause.”

²⁶When the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he will bear witness of me.

²⁷And ye also are witnesses, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
