³ The people of the tribes of Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun must set up their tents on the east side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and the number of soldiers whom they will lead: Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, will be the leader of the 74,600 men of the tribe of Judah.

⁵ Nethanel, the son of Zuar, will be the leader of the 54,500 men of the tribe of Issachar.

⁷ Eliab, the son of Helon, will be the leader of the 57,400 men of the tribe of Zebulun.

⁹ So there will be 86,400 troops on the east side of the Sacred Tent. Whenever the Israelis move to a new location, those three tribes must go in front of the others.

¹⁰ The tribes of Reuben, Simeon, and Gad must set up their tents on the south side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and the number of men whom they will lead: Elizur, the son of Shedeur, will be the leader of the 46,500 men of the tribe of Reuben.

⁴ And the whole sum of the fighting men of his stock, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.

⁵ Next unto him they of the tribe of Issachar encamped, whose prince was Nathanael, the son of Suar.

⁶ And the whole number of his fighting men were fifty-four thousand four hundred.

⁷ In the tribe of Zabulon the prince was Eliab the son of Helon.

⁸ And all the army of fighting men of his stock, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

⁹ All that were numbered in the camp of Juda, were a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred: and they by their troops shall march first.

¹⁰ In the camp of the sons of Ruben, on the south side, the prince shall be Elisur the son of Sedeur:

³ The tribal division of Judah is to camp under their flag on the east side. Their leader is Nahshon, son of Amminadab,

⁴ and he has 74,600 men.

⁵ The tribe of Issachar will camp next to them. Their leader is Nethanel, son of Zuar,

⁶ and he has 54,400 men.

⁷ Next is the tribe of Zebulun. Their leader is Eliab, son of Helon,

⁸ and he has 57,400 men.

⁹ So the total number of men in the area of the camp of Judah is 186,400. When it's time to march out, they are the ones who will lead.

¹⁰ The tribal division of Reuben is to camp under their flag on the south side. Their leader is Elizur, son of Shedeur,

⁵ Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar Hire, Reward: and the prince of the children of Issachar Hire, Reward shall be Nethanel the son of Zuar.

⁶ His division, and those who were counted of it, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.

⁷ The tribe of Zebulun Living together: and the prince of the children of Zebulun Living together shall be Eliab the son of Helon.

⁸ His division, and those who were counted of it, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

⁹ All who were counted of the camp of Judah Praised were one hundred eighty-six thousand four hundred, according to their divisions. They shall set out first.

¹⁰ “On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben See, a son! according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Reuben See, a son! shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

³ Those will be camping on the east of the tent of meeting, where the sun rises, they are the camp of Judah and they are camping under their standard. Nahshon son of Amminadab is the leader of the people of Judah.

⁴ The number of the people of Judah is 74,600.

⁵ The tribe of Issachar must camp next to Judah. Nethanel son of Zuar must lead the army of Issachar.

⁶ The number in his division is 54,400 men.

⁵ Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar. The prince of the children of Issachar shall be Nethanel the son of Zuar.

⁶ His division, and those who were counted of it, were fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

⁷ The tribe of Zebulun: the prince of the children of Zebulun shall be Eliab the son of Helon.

⁸ His division, and those who were counted of it, were fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

⁹ All who were counted of the camp of Judah were one hundred and eighty-six thousand and four hundred, according to their divisions. They shall set out first.

¹⁰ “On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

³ At the east Judah shall set tents, by the companies of his host; and Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, shall be prince of the sons of Judah;

⁴ and all the number of fighters of his kindred, four and seventy thousand and six hundred.

⁵ Men of the lineage of Issachar setted tents beside him, of which the prince was Nethaneel, the son of Zuar;

⁶ and all the number of his fighters, four and fifty thousand and four hundred.

⁷ Eliab, the son of Helon, was prince of the lineage of Zebulun;

⁸ all the host of fighters of his kindred, seven and fifty thousand and four hundred.

⁹ All that were numbered in the tents of Judah, were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred; and they shall go out first by their companies.

¹⁰ In the tents of the sons of Reuben, at the south coast, Elizur, the son of Shedeur, shall be prince;

³ At the east Judah shall set tents, by the companies of his host; and Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, shall be prince of the sons of Judah; (On the east side, the sons of Judah shall pitch their tents, by the companies of its army; and Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, shall be the leader of the sons of Judah;)

⁴ and all the number of fighters of his kindred, four and seventy thousand and six hundred. (and the number of all the fighters in his army, was seventy-four thousand and six hundred.)

³ At the est Judas schal sette tentis, bi the cumpenyes of his oost; and Naason, the sone of Amynadab, schal be prince of the sones of Juda;

⁴ and al the summe of fiyteris of his kynrede, foure and seuenty thousynde and sixe hundrid.

⁵ Men of the lynage of Ysachar settiden tentis bysydis hym, of whiche the prince was Nathanael, the sone of Suar;

⁶ and al the noumbre of hise fiyteris, foure and fifti thousynde and foure hundrid.

⁷ Eliab, the sone of Elon, was prince of the lynage of Zabulon;

⁸ al the oost of fiyteris of his kynrede, seuene and fifti thousynde and foure hundrid.

⁹ Alle that weren noumbrid in the castels of Judas, weren an hundrid thousynde `foure scoore thousynde and sixe and foure hundrid; and thei schulen go out the firste bi her cumpanyes.

¹⁰ In the castels of the sones of Ruben, at the south coost, Elisur, the sone of Sedeur, schal be prince; and al the oost of hise fiyteris,

³ And those encamping eastward towards the sun-rising, are of the standard of the camp of Judah, by their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Judah is Nahshon, son of Amminadab;

⁴ and his host, and their numbered ones, are four and seventy thousand and six hundred.

⁵ And those encamping by him are of the tribe of Issachar; and the prince of the sons of Issachar is Nethaneel son of Zuar;

⁶ and his host, and its numbered ones, are four and fifty thousand and four hundred.

⁷ The tribe of Zebulun; and the prince of the sons of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon;

⁸ and his host, and its numbered ones, are seven and fifty thousand and four hundred;

⁹ all those numbered of the camp of Judah are a hundred thousand, and eighty thousand, and six thousand, and four hundred, by their hosts; they journey first.

¹⁰ The standard of the camp of Reuben is southward, by their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur;
