² Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, every male, by their polls;

³ from twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel, thou and Aaron shall number them by their hosts.

⁴ And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of his fathers’ house.

⁵ And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you. Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

⁶ Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

⁷ Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

⁸ Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

⁹ Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.

¹⁰ Of the children of Joseph: Of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud. Of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

¹¹ Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni.

¹² Of Dan: Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

¹³ Of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran.

¹⁴ Of Gad: Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

¹⁵ Of Naphtali: Ahira the son of Enan.

¹⁶ These are they that were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.

¹⁷ And Moses and Aaron took these men that are mentioned by name:

¹⁸ and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

¹⁹ As Jehovah commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

²⁰ And the children of Reuben, Israel’s first-born, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

²¹ those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

²² Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those that were numbered thereof, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

²⁴ Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

²⁵ those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

²⁶ Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

²⁷ those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.

²⁸ Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

²⁹ those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

³⁰ Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

³¹ those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

³² Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

³³ those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.

³⁴ Of the children of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

³⁵ those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

³⁶ Of the children of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

⁴³ those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

⁴⁴ These are they that were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: they were each one for his fathers’ house.

⁴⁵ So all they that were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

⁴⁶ even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

¹⁶ These were famous men of the congregation, heads of the tribes according to their families: these are heads of thousands in Israel.

¹⁸ And they assembled all the congregation on the first day of the month in the second year; and they registered them after their lineage, after their families, after the number of their names, from twenty years old and upwards, every male according to their number:

¹⁹ as the Lord commanded Moses, so they were numbered in the wilderness of Sina.

²⁰ And the sons of Ruben the first-born of Israel according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their heads, were—all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that went out with the host—

²¹ the numbering of them of the tribe of Ruben, was forty-six thousand and four hundred.

⁴⁴ This is the numbering which Moses and Aaron and the rulers of Israel, being twelve men, conducted: there was a man for each tribe, they were according to the tribe of the houses of their family.

⁴⁵ And the whole numbering of the children of Israel with their host from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes out to set himself in battle array in Israel, came to

⁴⁶ six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

² “I want you and Aaron to determine how many Israeli men are able to fight in battles. Write down the names of all the men who are at least twenty years old, and write down the names of their clans and families.

⁴ I have chosen one man from each of the tribes to help you to do this. Each one will be a leader of his clan.

¹⁶ Those were the men whom Yahweh chose from the people. They were leaders of their tribes. They were the chief men of the clans of the Israeli people.

¹⁷ Aaron and Moses/I summoned all these leaders,

¹⁸ and they gathered all of the people together on that same day. They listed/wrote down the names of all the men who were at least 20 years old, and with their names they wrote the names of their clans and their family groups

¹⁹ just as Moses/I had commanded. They wrote the names while ◄the Israelis/we► were there in the Sinai Desert.

²⁰ This is a list of the number of men who were at least twenty years old and able to fight in battles, and the names of their tribes: There were 46,500 men from the tribe of Reuben (who was Jacob's oldest son); there were 59,300 men from the tribe of Simeon; there were 45,560 men from the tribe of Gad; there were 74,600 men from the tribe of Judah; there were 54,400 men from the tribe of Issachar; there were 57,400 men from the tribe of Zebulun; there were 40,500 men from the tribe of Ephraim; there were 32,200 men from the tribe of Manasseh; there were 35,400 men from the tribe of Benjamin; there were 62,700 men from the tribe of Dan; there were 41,500 men from the tribe of Asher; there were 53,400 men from the tribe of Naphtali.

⁴⁴ That was the number of men from each tribe that Aaron and Moses/I and the twelve leaders of the tribes of Israel listed, along with the names of their clans.

⁴⁶ The total was 603,550 men.

¹⁹ As the LORD commanded Moses, so he counted them in the wilderness of Sinai.

²¹ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand and five hundred.

²² Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those who were counted of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

²³ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.

²⁴ Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

²⁵ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

²⁶ Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

²⁷ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand and six hundred.

²⁸ Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

²⁹ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

³⁰ Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

³¹ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

³² Of the children of Joseph: of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

³³ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.

³⁴ Of the children of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

³⁵ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand and two hundred.

³⁶ Of the children of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

³⁷ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

³⁸ Of the children of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

⁴⁰ Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

⁴¹ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand and five hundred.

⁴² Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

⁴³ those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

⁴⁴ These are those who were counted, whom Moses and Aaron counted, and the twelve men who were princes of Israel, each one for his fathers’ house.

⁴⁵ So all those who were counted of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel—

⁴⁶ all those who were counted were six hundred and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

² Take the full number of the children of Israel, by their families, and by their fathers' houses, every male by name;

³ All those of twenty years old and over, who are able to go to war in Israel, are to be numbered by you and Aaron.

⁴ And to give you help, take one man from every tribe, the head of his father's house.

¹⁴ From Gad, Eliasaph, the son of Reuel;

¹⁶ These are the men named out of all the people, chiefs of their fathers' houses, heads of the tribes of Israel.

¹⁷ And Moses and Aaron took these men, marked out by name;

¹⁸ And they got together all the people on the first day of the second month; and everyone made clear his family and his father's house, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and over.

¹⁹ As the Lord had given orders to Moses, so they were numbered by him in the waste place of Sinai.

⁴⁴ These are they who were numbered by Moses and Aaron and by the twelve chiefs of Israel, one from every tribe.

¹⁸ and gathered the whole assembly together on the first of the second month. And they declared their pedigrees after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.

¹⁹ As Jehovah had commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

² Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel by their families, and houses, and the names of every one, as many as are of the male sex,

³ From twenty years old and upwards, of all the men of Israel fit for war, and you shall number them by their troops, thou and Aaron.

¹⁶ These are the most noble princes of the multitude by their tribes and kindreds, and the chiefs of the army of Israel:

¹⁷ Whom Moses and Aaron took with all the multitude of the common people:

⁴² Of the sons of Nephtali, by their generations and families and houses of their kindreds, were reckoned up by the names of every one from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

⁴³ Fifty-three thousand four hundred.

⁴⁴ These era they who were numbered by Moses and Aaron, and the twelve princes of Israel, every one by the houses of their kindreds.

⁴⁵ And the whole number of the children of Israel by their houses and families, from twenty years old and upward, that were able to go to war,

² “Census all the Israelites according to their tribe and family. Count every man and keep a record of each individual's name.

³ Those aged twenty or older who can do military service are to be registered by you and Aaron in their Israelite army divisions.

⁴ A representative from each tribe, the head of a family, must be there with you.

⁵ These are the names of the men who will work with you: From the tribe of Reuben, Elizur, son of Shedeur;

¹⁶ These were the men chosen from the Israelite community. They were the leaders of their fathers' tribes; the heads of the families of Israel.

¹⁷ Moses and Aaron summoned these men who had been selected by name.

¹⁸ They had all the Israelites gather together on the first day of the second month, and recorded the people's genealogy according to their tribe and family, and counted up the names of all those aged twenty or older,

¹⁹ as the Lord had told Moses to do. Moses conducted this census in the Sinai desert.

²⁰ The descendants of Reuben, (he was Israel's firstborn son), men aged twenty or over, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

²¹ from the tribe of Reuben totaled 46,500.

²² The descendants of Simeon, men aged twenty or over, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

²³ from the tribe of Simeon totaled 59,300.

²⁴ The descendants of Gad, men aged twenty or over, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

²⁵ from the tribe of Gad totaled 45,650.

²⁶ The descendants of Judah, men aged twenty or older, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

²⁷ from the tribe of Judah, totaled 74,600.

²⁸ The descendants of Issachar, men aged twenty or older, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

²⁹ from the tribe of Issachar, totaled 54,400.

³⁰ The descendants of Zebulun, men aged twenty or older, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

³⁸ The descendants of Dan, men aged twenty or older, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

⁴⁰ The descendants of Asher, men aged twenty or older, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

⁴² The descendants of Naphtali, men aged twenty or older, were recorded by name according to the genealogical records of their tribe and families. All those registered who could serve in the army

⁴⁴ These were the totals of the men counted and registered by Moses and Aaron, with the help of the twelve leaders of Israel, who each represented their family.

⁴⁵ In this way all the Israelite men aged twenty or older who were able to serve in Israel's army were registered according to their families.

⁴⁶ The sum total of those registered was 603,550.

⁴⁴ These men it be, which Moses and Aaron and the twelve princes of Israel numbered, each by their houses and kindreds. (These be the men, whom Moses and Aaron and the twelve leaders of Israel listed, or registered, each by the house of his kindred.)

⁴⁵ And all men of the sons of Israel, by their houses, and families, from twenty years and above, that might go forth to battles, (And all the men of the Israelites, by their houses, and families, from twenty years of age and older, who could go forth to battle,)

⁴⁶ were all together six hundred thousand and three thousand men, and five hundred and fifty. (were altogether six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty men.)

² and seide, Take ye `the summe of al the congregacioun of the sones of Israel, bi her kynredis, and howsis, and `the names of alle bi hem silf, what

³ euer thing is of male kynde fro the twentithe yeere and aboue, of alle the stronge men of Israel; and thou and Aaron schulen noumbre hem bi her cumpanies.

⁴ And the princes of lynagis and of housis, in her kynredis, schulen be with you,

⁵ of whiche princes these ben the names; of Ruben, Elisur, the sone of Sedeur;

⁶ of Symeon, Salamyel, the sone of Suri Sadday;

⁷ of Juda, Naason, the sone of Amynadab; of Ysacar,

⁸ Nathanael, the sone of Suar;

⁹ of Zabulon, Eliab, the sone of Elon; sotheli of the sones of Joseph,

¹⁰ of Effraym, Elisama, the sone of Amyud; of Manasses, Gamaliel the sone of Phadussur;

¹¹ of Beniamyn, Abidan, the sone of Gedeon;

¹² of Dan, Aiezer, the sone of Amysadday;

¹³ of Aser, Fegiel, the sone of Ochran;

¹⁴ of Gad, Elisaphan, the sone of Duel;

¹⁵ of Neptalym, Hayra, the sone of Henam.

¹⁶ These weren the noblest princes of the multitude, bi her lynagis, and kynredis, and the heedis of the oost of Israel,

¹⁷ whiche pryncis Moises and Aaron token, with al the multitude of the comyn puple.

¹⁸ And thei gaderiden in the firste dai of the secounde monethe, and telden hem bi kynredis, and housis, and meynees, and heedis, and names of alle by hem silf, fro the twentithe yeer and aboue,

¹⁹ as the Lord comaundide to Moises.

²⁰ And of Ruben the firste gendrid of Israel weren noumbrid, in the deseert of Synai, bi her generaciouns, and meynees, and housis, and bi the names of alle heedis, al thing that is of male kynde, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, of men goynge forth to batel,

²¹ sixe and fourti thousynd and fyue hundrid.

²² Of the sones of Symeon, bi her generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kyneredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names and heedis of alle, al that is of male kynde, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, of men goynge forth to batel,

²³ nyn and fifty thousand and thre hundrid.

²⁴ Of the sones of Gad, by generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro twenti yeer and aboue, alle men that yeden forth to batels,

²⁵ fyue and fourti thousand sixe hundrid and fifti.

²⁶ Of the sones of Juda, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, by the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that miyten go to batels,

²⁷ weren noumbrid foure and seuenti thousand and sixe hundrid.

²⁸ Of the sones of Ysacar, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that yeden forth to batels,

²⁹ weren noumbrid foure and fifti thousande and foure hundrid.

³⁰ Of the sones of Zabulon, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

³¹ seuene and fifti thousynde and foure hundrid.

³² Of the sones of Joseph, of the sones of Effraym, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

³³ fourti thousynde and fyue hundrid.

³⁴ Forsothe of the sones of Manasses, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

³⁵ two and thretti thousynd and two hundrid.

³⁶ Of the sones of Beniamyn, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro twenti yeer and aboue, alle men that miyten go forth to batels,

³⁷ fyue and thretti thousinde and foure hundrid.

³⁸ Of the sones of Dan, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yere and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

³⁹ two and sixti thousynde and seuene hundrid.

⁴¹ fourti thousynde and a thousynde and fyue hundrid.

⁴² Of the sones of Neptalym, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

⁴³ thre and fifty thousynde and foure hundrid.

⁴⁴ These men it ben, whiche Moises and Aaron and the twelue princes of Israel noumbriden, alle bi the housis `of her kynredis.

⁴⁵ And alle men of the sones of Israel bi her housis, and meynees, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, that myyten go forth to batels, weren togidere

⁴⁶ sixe hundrid thousynde and thre thousynde of men, fyue hundred and fifti.

² 'Take ye up the sum of all the company of the sons of Israel by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names — every male by their polls;

³ from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host in Israel, ye do number them by their hosts, thou and Aaron;

⁴ and with you there is a man for a tribe, each is a head to the house of his fathers.

⁵ 'And these are the names of the men who stand with you: 'For Reuben — Elizur son of Shedeur.

⁶ 'For Simeon — Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

⁷ 'For Judah — Nahshon son of Amminadab.

⁸ 'For Issachar — Nathaneel son of Zuar.

⁹ 'For Zebulun — Eliab son of Helon.

¹⁰ 'For the sons of Joseph — for Ephraim: Elishama son of Ammihud: for Manasseh — Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.

¹¹ 'For Benjamin — Abidan son of Gideoni.

¹² 'For Dan — Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

¹³ 'For Asher — Pagiel son of Ocran.

¹⁴ 'For Gad — Eliasaph son of Deuel.

¹⁵ 'For Naphtali — Ahira son of Enan.'

¹⁶ These are those called of the company, princes of the tribes of their fathers; they are heads of the thousands of Israel.

¹⁷ And Moses taketh — Aaron also — these men, who were defined by name,

¹⁸ and all the company they assembled on the first of the second month, and they declare their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names from a son of twenty years and upward, by their polls,

¹⁹ as Jehovah hath commanded Moses; and he numbereth them in the wilderness of Sinai.

²⁰ And the sons of Reuben, Israel's first-born — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, by their polls, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

²¹ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Reuben, are six and forty thousand and five hundred.

²² Of the sons of Simeon — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, its numbered ones in the number of names, by their polls, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

²³ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Simeon, are nine and fifty thousand and three hundred.

²⁴ Of the sons of Gad — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

²⁵ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Gad, are five and forty thousand and six hundred and fifty.

²⁶ Of the sons of Judah — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

²⁷ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Judah, are four and seventy thousand and six hundred.

²⁸ Of the sons of Issachar — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

²⁹ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Issachar, are four and fifty thousand and four hundred.

³⁰ Of the sons of Zebulun — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

³¹ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Zebulun, are seven and fifty thousand and four hundred.

³² Of the sons of Joseph — of the sons of Ephraim — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

³³ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Ephraim, are forty thousand and five hundred.

³⁴ Of the sons of Manasseh — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

³⁵ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Manasseh, are two and thirty thousand and two hundred.

³⁶ Of the sons of Benjamin — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

³⁷ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Benjamin, are five and thirty thousand and four hundred.

³⁸ Of the sons of Dan — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

³⁹ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Dan, are two and sixty thousand and seven hundred.

⁴⁰ Of the sons of Asher — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

⁴¹ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Asher, are one and forty thousand and five hundred.

⁴² Of the sons of Naphtali — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

⁴³ their numbered ones, for the tribe of Naphtali, are three and fifty thousand and four hundred.

⁴⁴ These are those numbered, whom Moses numbered — Aaron also, and the princes of Israel, twelve men — each for the house of his fathers, they have been.

⁴⁵ And they are, all those numbered of the sons of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host in Israel,

⁴⁶ yea, all those numbered are six hundred thousand, and three thousand, and five hundred and fifty.
