² Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,

³ and will make an offering by fire unto Jehovah, a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill-offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet savor unto Jehovah, of the herd, or of the flock;

⁴ then shall he that offereth his oblation offer unto Jehovah a meal-offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of oil:

⁵ and wine for the drink-offering, the fourth part of a hin, shalt thou prepare with the burnt-offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

⁶ Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meal-offering two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the third part of a hin of oil:

⁷ and for the drink-offering thou shalt offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

⁸ And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace-offerings unto Jehovah;

⁹ then shall he offer with the bullock a meal-offering of three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil:

¹⁴ And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah; as ye do, so he shall do.

¹⁵ For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, a statute for ever throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the sojourner be before Jehovah.

¹⁶ One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

¹⁷ And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

²² And when ye shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,

²³ even all that Jehovah hath commanded you by Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;

²⁴ then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savor unto Jehovah, with the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof, according to the ordinance, and one he-goat for a sin-offering.

²⁵ And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their oblation, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah, and their sin-offering before Jehovah, for their error:

²⁶ and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.

²⁷ And if one person sin unwittingly, then he shall offer a she-goat a year old for a sin-offering.

⁹ then the worshipper shall offer upon the calf a meat-offering, three tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, even the half of a hin.

¹⁰ And wine for a drink-offering the half of a hin, a sacrifice for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.

¹¹ Thus shalt thou do to one calf or to one ram, or to one lamb of the sheep or kid of the goats.

¹² According to the number of what ye shall offer, so shall ye do to each one, according to their number.

¹³ Every native of the country shall do thus to offer such things as sacrifices for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.

¹⁴ And if there should be a stranger among you in your land, or one who should be born to you among your generations, and he will offer a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord—as ye do, so the whole congregation shall offer to the Lord.

¹⁵ There shall be one law for you and for the strangers abiding among you, a perpetual law for your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.

¹⁶ There shall be one law and one ordinance for you, and for the stranger that abides among you.

¹⁷ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸ Speak to the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, When ye are entering into the land, into which I bring you,

¹⁹ then it shall come to pass, when ye shall eat of the bread of the land, ye shall separate a wave-offering, a special offering to the Lord, the first-fruits of your dough.

²⁰ Ye shall offer your bread a heave-offering: as a heave-offering from the threshing-floor, so shall ye separate it,

²¹ even the first-fruits of your dough, and ye shall give the Lord a heave-offering throughout your generations.

²² But whensoever ye shall transgress, and not perform all these commands, which the Lord spoke to Moses;

²³ as the Lord appointed you by the hand of Moses, from the day which the Lord appointed you and forward throughout your generations,

²⁴ then it shall come to pass, if a trespass be committed unwillingly, unknown to the congregation, then shall all the congregation offer a calf of the herd without blemish for a whole-burnt-offering of sweet savour to the Lord, and its meat-offering and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering.

²⁵ And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the trespass shall be forgiven them, because it is involuntary; and they have brought their gift, a burnt-offering to the Lord for their trespass before the Lord, even for their involuntary sins.

²⁶ And it shall be forgiven as respects all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that is abiding among you, because it is involuntary to all the people.

²⁷ And if one soul sin unwillingly, he shall bring one she-goat of a year old for a sin-offering.

² “Tell this to the Israeli people: When you arrive in the land that I am giving to you,

³ you must offer to me special sacrifices which will be pleasing to me when the priest burns them on the altar. Some of them may be offerings that will be completely burned on the altar. Some of them may be to indicate that you have made a solemn promise to me. Some of them may be offerings that you yourselves have decided to make. Some of them may be offerings at one of the festivals that you celebrate each year. These offerings may be taken from your herds of cattle or from your flocks of sheep and goats.

⁴ When you give these offerings, you must also bring to me a grain offering of two quarts/liters of nice flour mixed with one quart/liter of olive oil.

⁵ When you offer a lamb to be a sacrifice to be completely burned, you must also pour on the altar one quart/liter of wine.

⁶ When you offer a ram to be a sacrifice, you must also bring an offering of four quarts/liters of finely-ground flour mixed with ◄a third of a gallon/1.3 liters► of olive oil.

⁷ And also pour on the altar ◄a third of a gallon/1.3 liters► of wine. While they are being burned, the smell will be very pleasing to me.

⁸ Sometimes you will offer a young bull to be completely burned on the altar. Sometimes you will offer a sacrifice to indicate that you have made a solemn promise to me. Sometimes you will offer a sacrifice to maintain fellowship with me.

⁹ When you offer these sacrifices, you must also offer a grain offering of six quarts/liters of finely-ground flour mixed with two quarts/liters of olive oil.

¹⁰ Also pour on the altar two quarts/liters of wine to be an offering. While those special gifts are being burned, the smell will be very pleasing to me.

¹¹ Each time someone offers a bull or a ram or a male lamb or a young goat to be a sacrifice, it must be done that way.

¹² You must obey these instructions for each animal that you bring to me for an offering.

¹³ All of you people who have been Israelis all of your lives must obey these regulations when you offer sacrifices that will be pleasing to me when they are burned on the altar.

¹⁴ If any foreigners visit you or live among you, if they also want to bring a sacrifice that will be pleasing to me when it is burned on the altar, they must obey these same instructions.

¹⁵ I consider that those who have always been Israelis and those who are foreigners are equal, and so they must all obey the same instructions. All of your descendants must also continue to obey these instructions.

¹⁶ You Israelis and the foreigners who live among you must all obey the same instructions.”

¹⁷ Yahweh also said to Moses/me,

¹⁸ “Tell these instructions to the Israeli people: Yahweh says this: ❛When you arrive in the land to which I am taking you,

¹⁹ and you eat the crops that are growing there, you must set some of them aside to be a sacred offering to me.

²⁰ Each year set aside some of the first grain that you gather after you have threshed it. Bake a loaf of bread from the first flour that you grind and bring it to me to be a sacred offering.

²¹ Every year, you and your descendants must continue to make and bring to me a loaf of bread baked MTY with flour from the first part of the grain that you harvest.”

²² “There may be times when you Israelis do not obey all these instructions that I have given to Moses to tell you, but not because you intended to disobey them.

²³ There may be times when some of your descendants do not obey all these instructions that I have given to Moses to tell to you.

²⁴ If you or they sin by forgetting to obey these instructions and none of the Israeli people realize that they were doing that, one young bull as an offering for all the people must be brought to the priest. That will be pleasing to me when it is burned on the altar. They must also bring to me a grain offering and an offering of wine, and a male goat, to be sacrificed to enable me to forgive them for the sins they have committed.

²⁵ By offering these sacrifices, the priest will make atonement for all of you Israeli people. Then, as a result of their bringing to me an offering to be burned on the altar, ◄you will be forgiven/I will forgive you►, because you sinned without realizing that you were sinning.

²⁶ You Israeli people and the foreigners who are living among you will all be forgiven.

²⁷ If one person commits a sin without realizing that he was sinning, that person must bring to me a female goat to be an offering to enable me to forgive that person for the sins that person has committed.

⁵ And for a drink-offering you° shall offer the fourth part of a hin on the whole burnt offering, or on the meat-offering: for every lamb you shall offer so much, as a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.

⁶ And for a ram, when you° offer it as a whole burnt offering or as a sacrifice, you shall prepare as a meat-offering two tenths of fine flour mingled with oil, the third part of a hin.

⁷ And you° shall offer for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord wine for a drink-offering, the third part of a hin.

⁸ And if you° sacrifice a bullock from the herd for a whole burnt offering or for a sacrifice, to perform a vow or a peace-offering to the Lord,

⁹ then the worshipper shall offer upon the calf a meat-offering, three tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, even the half of a hin.

¹⁰ And wine for a drink-offering the half of a hin, a sacrifice for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.

¹¹ Thus shall you do to one calf or to one ram, or to one lamb of the sheep or kid of the goats.

¹² According to the number of what you° shall offer, so shall you° do to each one, according to their number.

¹³ Every native of the country shall do thus to offer such things as sacrifices for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.

¹⁴ And if there should be a stranger amongst you in your land, or one who should be born to you amongst your generations, and he will offer a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord—as you° do, so the whole congregation shall offer to the Lord.

¹⁵ There shall be one law for you and for the strangers dwelling amongst you, a perpetual law for your generations: as you° are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.

¹⁶ There shall be one law and one ordinance for you, and for the stranger that abides amongst you.

¹⁷ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸ Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you° are entering into the land, into which I bring you,

¹⁹ then it shall come to pass, when you° shall eat of the bread of the land, you° shall separate a wave-offering, a special offering to the Lord, the first fruits of your dough.

²⁰ You° shall offer your bread a heave-offering: as a heave-offering from the threshing floor, so shall you° separate it,

²¹ even the first fruits of your dough, and you° shall give the Lord a heave-offering throughout your generations.

²² But whenever you° shall transgress, and not perform all these commands, which the Lord spoke to Moses;

²³ as the Lord appointed you by the hand of Moses, from the day which the Lord appointed you and forward throughout your generations,

²⁴ then it shall come to pass, if a trespass be committed unwillingly, unknown to the congregation, then shall all the congregation offer a calf of the herd without blemish for a whole burnt offering of sweet savour to the Lord, and its meat-offering and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering.

²⁵ And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the trespass shall be forgiven them, because it is involuntary; and they have brought their gift, a burnt offering to the Lord for their trespass before the Lord, even for their involuntary sins.

²⁶ And it shall be forgiven as respects all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that is dwelling amongst you, because it is involuntary to all the people.

²⁷ And if one soul sin unwillingly, he shall bring one she-goat of a year old for a sin-offering.

² “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,

³ and will make an offering by fire to Yahweh—a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a free will offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, of the herd, or of the flock—

⁴ then he who offers his offering shall offer to Yahweh a meal offering of one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one fourth of a hin of oil.

¹⁷ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸ “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land where I bring you,

¹⁹ then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Yahweh.

²⁰ Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering. As the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.

²⁴ then it shall be, if it was done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, with its meal offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering.

²⁵ The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh, and their sin offering before Yahweh, for their error.

³ And are going to make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burned offering or an offering in connection with an oath, or an offering freely given, or at your regular feasts, an offering for a sweet smell to the Lord, from the herd or the flock:

⁴ Then let him who is making his offering, give to the Lord a meal offering of a tenth part of a measure of the best meal mixed with a fourth part of a hin of oil:

⁵ And for the drink offering, you are to give with the burned offering or other offering, the fourth part of a hin of wine for every lamb.

⁶ Or for a male sheep, give as a meal offering two tenth parts of a measure of the best meal mixed with a third part of a hin of oil:

⁷ And for the drink offering give a third part of a hin of wine, for a sweet smell to the Lord.

⁸ And when you make ready a young ox for a burned or other offering, or for the effecting of an oath, or for peace-offerings to the Lord:

⁹ Then with the ox give a meal offering of three tenth parts of a measure of the best meal mixed with half a hin of oil.

¹⁰ And for the drink offering: give half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire for a sweet smell to the Lord.

¹¹ This is to be done for every young ox and for every male sheep or he-lamb or young goat.

¹² Whatever number you make ready, so you are to do for every one.

¹³ All those who are Israelites by birth are to do these things in this way, when giving an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord.

¹⁴ And if a man from another country or any other person living among you, through all your generations, has the desire to give an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord, let him do as you do.

¹⁵ There is to be one law for you and for the man of another country living with you, one law for ever from generation to generation; as you are, so is he to be before the Lord.

¹⁶ The law and the rule are to be the same for you and for those from other lands living with you.

¹⁷ And the Lord said to Moses,

¹⁸ Say to the children of Israel, When you come into the land where I am guiding you,

¹⁹ Then, when you take for your food the produce of the land, you are to give an offering lifted up before the Lord.

²⁰ Of the first of your rough meal you are to give a cake for a lifted offering, lifting it up before the Lord as the offering of the grain-floor is lifted up.

²¹ From generation to generation you are to give to the Lord a lifted offering from the first of your rough meal.

²² And if in error you go against any of these laws which the Lord has given to Moses,

²³ All the laws which the Lord has given you by the hand of Moses, from the day when the Lord gave them, and ever after from generation to generation;

²⁴ Then, if the wrong is done in error, without the knowledge of the meeting of the people, let all the meeting give a young ox as a burned offering, a sweet smell to the Lord, with its meal offering and its drink offering, as is ordered in the law, together with a he-goat for a sin-offering.

²⁵ So the priest will make the people free from sin, and they will have forgiveness; for it was an error, and they have given their offering made by fire to the Lord, and their sin-offering before the Lord, on account of their error:

²⁶ And all the meeting of the children of Israel, as well as those from other lands living among them, will have forgiveness; for it was an error on the part of the people.

²⁷ And if one person does wrong, without being conscious of it, then let him give a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.

² Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of your dwellings, which I give unto you,

³ and will make an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt-offering or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or as a voluntary offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet odour to Jehovah, of the herd or of the flock,

⁴ then shall he that presenteth his offering to Jehovah bring as oblation a tenth part of fine flour mingled with a fourth part of a hin of oil;

⁵ and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the fourth part of a hin with the burnt-offering, or with the sacrifice, for one lamb.

⁶ And for a ram thou shalt offer as oblation two tenth parts of fine flour mingled with oil, a third part of a hin,

⁷ and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the third part of a hin; for a sweet odour to Jehovah.

⁸ And when thou offerest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or for a peace-offering to Jehovah,

⁹ then shall they present with the bullock as oblation three tenth parts of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil;

¹¹ Thus shall it be done for one ox, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or for a kid;

¹² according to the number that ye offer, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.

¹³ And all that are born in the land shall do these things thus, in presenting an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah.

¹⁴ And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whoever be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah, — as ye do, so shall he do.

¹⁵ As to the congregation, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an everlasting statute throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be, before Jehovah.

¹⁶ One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

¹⁷ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸ Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,

¹⁹ then it shall be, when ye eat of the bread of the land, that ye shall offer a heave-offering to Jehovah;

²⁰ the first of your dough shall ye offer, a cake, for a heave-offering; as the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye offer this.

²¹ Of the first of your dough ye shall give to Jehovah a heave-offering throughout your generations.

²² And if ye sin inadvertently, and do not all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,

²³ all that Jehovah hath commanded you through Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and henceforward throughout your generations;

²⁴ then it shall be, if ought be committed by inadvertence hid from the eyes of the assembly, that the whole assembly shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet odour to Jehovah, and its oblation and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one buck of the goats for a sin-offering.

²⁵ And the priest shall make atonement for the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it was a sin of inadvertence, and they have brought before Jehovah their offering, as an offering by fire to Jehovah, and their sin-offering for their sin of inadvertence;

²⁶ and it shall be forgiven the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for with all the people there was a sin of inadvertence.

²⁷ And if one soul sin through inadvertence, then he shall present a yearling she-goat for a sin-offering.

² Speak to the children of Israel and thou shalt say to them: When you shall be come into the land of your habitation, which I will give you,

³ And shall make an offering to the Lord, for a holocaust, or a victim, paying your vows, or voluntarily offering gifts, or in your solemnities burning a sweet savour unto the Lord, of oxen or of sheep:

⁴ Whosoever immolateth the victim, shall offer a sacrifice of fine flour, the tenth part of an ephi, tempered with the fourth part of a hin of oil:

⁵ And he shall give the same measure of wine to pour out in libations for the holocaust or for the victim. For every lamb,

⁶ And for every ram there shall be a sacrifice of hour of two tenths, which shall be tempered with the third part of a hin of oil:

⁷ And he shall offer the third part of the same measure of wine for the libation, for a sweet savour to the Lord.

⁸ But when thou offerest a holocaust or sacrifice of oxen, to fulfill thy vow or for victims of peace offerings,

⁹ Thou shalt give for every ox three tenths of flour tempered with half a hin of oil,

¹⁰ And wine for libations of the same measure, for an offering of most sweet savour to the Lord.

¹¹ Thus shalt thou do:

¹² For every ox and ram and lamb and kid.

¹³ Both they that are born in the land, and the strangers,

¹⁴ Shall offer sacrifices after the same rite.

¹⁵ There shall be all one law and judgment both for you and for them who are strangers in the land.

¹⁶ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

¹⁷ Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them:

¹⁸ When you are come into the land which I will give you,

¹⁹ And shall eat of the bread of that country, you shall separate firstfruits to the Lord,

²⁰ Of the things you eat. As you separate firstfruits of your barnfloors:

²¹ So also shall you give firstfruits of your dough to the Lord.

²² And if through ignorance you omit any of these things, which the Lord hath spoken to Moses,

²³ And by him hath commanded you, from the day that he began to command and thenceforward,

²⁴ And the multitude have forgotten to do it: they shall offer a calf out of the herd, a holocaust for a most sweet savour to the Lord, and the sacrifice and libations thereof, as the ceremonies require, and a buck goat for sin:

²⁵ And the priest shall pray for all the multitude of the children of Israel: and it shall be forgiven them, because they sinned ignorantly, offering notwithstanding a burnt offering to the Lord for themselves and for their sin and their ignorance:

²⁶ And it shall be forgiven all the people of the children of Israel: and the strangers that sojourn among them: because it is the fault of all the people through ignorance.

²⁷ But if one soul shall sin ignorantly, he shall offer a she goat of a year old for his sin.

² “Tell the Israelites, ‘These are instructions about what you are to do once you arrive in the country I'm giving you to live in.

³ When you bring an offering to the Lord from your herd or flock (whether it's a burnt offering, a sacrifice to fulfill a promise you made, or a freewill or festival offering) that will be acceptable to the Lord,

⁴ then you shall also present a grain offering of one tenth of an ephah of best flour mixed with a quarter hin of olive oil.

⁵ Add a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering to the burn offering or the sacrifice of a lamb.

⁶ When it comes to a ram, present a grain offering of two tenths of an ephah of best flour mixed with a third of a hin of olive oil,

⁷ along with a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering, all of them to be acceptable to the Lord.

⁸ When you bring a young bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a promise you made or as a peace offering to the Lord,

⁹ then you shall also with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the best flour mixed with half a hin of olive oil.

¹⁰ Add a half a hin of wine as a drink offering. All this is an offering to be acceptable to the Lord.

¹¹ This is to be done for every bull, ram, lamb, or goat brought as an offering.

¹² This is what you need to do for each one, however many.

¹³ Every Israelite is to follow these instructions when they present an offering that is accepted by the Lord.

¹⁴ This also applies for all future generations that if a foreigner living among you or anyone else among you wishes to present an offering acceptable to the Lord: they are to do exactly what you do.

¹⁵ The whole congregation must have the same rules for you and for the foreigner living among you. This is a permanent law for all future generations You and the foreigner are to be treated the same way before the law.

¹⁶ The same rules and regulations apply to you and the foreigner living among you.’”

¹⁷ Then the Lord told Moses,

¹⁸ “Tell the Israelites, ‘When you get to the country where I'm leading you

¹⁹ and you eat the food produced there, you shall give some of it as an offering to the Lord.

²⁰ You are to give some of the flour you make into loaves as a gift—present it just like an offering from the threshing floor.

²¹ For all future generations, you are to give the Lord an offering from the first of your flour.

²² Now if you collectively sin without meaning to and don't follow all these instructions that the Lord has given Moses—

²³ everything that the Lord has ordered you to do through Moses from the time that the Lord gave them and for all future generations—

²⁴ and if it was done unintentionally without everyone knowing about it, then the whole congregation is to present a young bull as a burnt offering to be accepted by the Lord, along with its grain offering and drink offering presented according to the rules, as well as a male goat as a sin offering.

²⁵ In this way the priest is to make the whole congregation of Israel right with the Lord so that they can be forgiven, because the sin was unintentional and they have presented the Lord with an burnt offering and a sin offering, offered before the Lord for their unintentional sin.

²⁶ Then the whole congregation of Israel and the foreigners living among them will be forgiven, because the people sinned unintentionally.

²⁷ In the case of an individual who sins without meaning to—they are to present a year-old female goat as a sin offering.

² Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, Whe ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I giue vnto you,

³ And will make an offring by fire vnto the Lord, a burnt offring or a sacrifice to fulfil a vowe, or a free offring, or in your feastes, to make a sweete sauour vnto the Lord of the hearde, or of the flocke.

⁴ Then let him that offreth his offring vnto the Lord, bring a meate offring of a tenth deale of fine flowre, mingled with the fourth part of an Hin of oyle.

⁵ Also thou shalt prepare ye fourth part of an Hin of wine to be powred on a lambe, appointed for the burnt offring or any offring.

⁶ And for a ram, thou shalt for a meat offring, prepare two tenth deales of fine floure, mingled with the third part of an Hin of oyle.

⁷ And for a drinke-offering, thou shalt offer the third part of an Hin of wine, for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.

⁸ And when thou preparest a bullocke for a burnt offring, or for a sacrifice to fulfill a vowe or a peace offring to the Lord,

⁹ Then let him offer with ye bullocke a meate offring of three tenth deales of fine floure, mingled with halfe an Hin of oyle.

¹⁰ And thou shalt bring for a drinke offring halfe an Hin of wine, for an offring made by fire of a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.

¹¹ Thus shall it be done for a bullocke, or for a ram, or for a lambe, or for a kid.

¹² According to the nomber that yee prepare to offer, so shall yee doe to euery one according to their nomber.

¹³ All that are borne of the countrey, shall do these things thus, to offer an offring made by fire of sweete sauour vnto the Lord.

¹⁴ And if a stranger soiourne with you, or whosoeuer bee among you in your generations, and will make an offring by fire of a sweete sauour vnto the Lord, as ye do, so hee shall doe.

¹⁵ One ordinance shalbe both for you of the Congregation, and also for the stranger that dwelleth with you, euen an ordinance for euer in your generations: as you are, so shall the stranger bee before the Lord.

¹⁶ One Lawe and one maner shall serue both for you and for the stranger that soiourneth with you.

¹⁷ And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

¹⁸ Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye be come into the lande, to the which I bring you,

¹⁹ And when ye shall eate of the bread of the land, ye shall offer an heaue offring vnto ye Lord.

²⁰ Ye shall offer vp a cake of the first of your dowe for an heaue offring: as the heaue offring of the barne, so ye shall lift it vp.

²¹ Of the first of your dowe ye shall giue vnto the Lord an heaue offring in your generations.

²² And if ye haue erred, and not obserued all these commandements, which the Lord hath spoken vnto Moses,

²³ Euen all that the Lord hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the first day that the Lord commanded Moses, and hence forward among your generations:

²⁴ And if so be that ought be committed ignorantly of the Congregation, then all ye Congregatio shall giue a bullocke for a burnt offring, for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord, with the meat offring and drinke offring thereto, according to the maner, and an hee goate for a sinne offring.

²⁵ And the Priest shall make an atonement for al the Congregation of the children of Israel, and it shalbe forgiuen them: for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offring for an offring made by fire vnto the Lord, and their sinne offering before the Lord for their ignorance.

²⁶ Then it shalbe forgiuen all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that dwelleth among them: for all the people were in ignorance.

²⁷ But if any one person sinne through ignorance, then he shall bring a shee goate of a yeere olde for a sinne offring.

¹⁶ One law and one ordinance shall be both for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

¹⁷ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

¹⁸ Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye come into the land whither I bring you,

¹⁹ then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall set apart a portion for a gift unto the LORD.

²⁰ Of the first of your dough ye shall set apart a cake for a gift; as that which is set apart of the threshing-floor, so shall ye set it apart.

²¹ Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD a portion for a gift throughout your generations.

²² And when ye shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,

²³ even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;

²⁴ then it shall be, if it be done in error by the congregation, it being hid from their eyes, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD — with the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof, according to the ordinance — and one he-goat for a sin-offering.

²⁵ And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin-offering before the LORD, for their error.

²⁶ And all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for in respect of all the people it was done in error.

²⁷ And if one person sin through error, then he shall offer a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.

²⁴ Then shall it be, if, through inadvertence of the congregation, it was committed by ignorance, that all the congregation shall prepare one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savor unto the Lord, with his meat-offering, and his drink-offering, according to the prescribed manner, and one he-goat for a sin-offering.

²⁵ And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven unto them; for it is a sin of ignorance; and they have brought their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord, and their sin-offering before the Lord, for their sin of ignorance:

²⁶ And it shall be forgiven unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them; for by all the people was it done in ignorance.

²⁷ And if any person sin through ignorance, then shall he bring a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.

³ and thou wilt offer whole burnt offerings to the Lord, a whole burnt offering or a meat offering to perform a vow, or a freewill offering, or to offer in your feasts a sacrifice of sweet savor to the Lord, whether of the herd or the flock:

⁴ then he that offers his gift to the Lord shall bring a meat offering of fine flour, a tenth part of an ephah mingled with oil, even with the fourth part of a hin.

⁵ And for a drink offering ye shall offer the fourth part of a hin on the whole burnt offering, or on the meat offering: for every lamb thou shalt offer so much, as a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savor to the Lord.

⁶ And for a ram, when ye offer it as a whole burnt offering or as a sacrifice, thou shalt prepare as a meat offering two tenths of fine flour mingled with oil, the third part of a hin.

⁷ And ye shall offer for a smell of sweet savor to the Lord wine for a drink offering, the third part of a hin.

⁸ And if ye sacrifice a bullock from the herd for a whole burnt offering or for a sacrifice, to perform a vow or a peace offering to the Lord,

⁹ then the worshiper shall offer upon the calf a meat offering, three tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, even the half of a hin.

¹⁰ And wine for a drink offering the half of a hin, a sacrifice for a smell of sweet savor to the Lord.

¹¹ Thus shalt thou do to one calf or to one ram, or to one lamb of the sheep or kid of the goats.

¹² According to the number of what ye shall offer, so shall ye do to each one, according to their number.

¹³ Every native of the country shall do thus to offer such things as sacrifices for a smell of sweet savor to the Lord.

¹⁴ And if there should be a stranger among you in your land, or one who should be born to you among your generations, and he will offer a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savor to the Lord—as ye do, so the whole congregation shall offer to the Lord.

¹⁵ There shall be one law for you and for the strangers abiding among you, a perpetual law for your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.

¹⁶ There shall be one law and one ordinance for you, and for the stranger that abides among you.

¹⁷ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸ Speak to the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, When ye are entering into the land, into which I bring you,

¹⁹ then it shall come to pass, when ye shall eat of the bread of the land, ye shall separate a wave offering, a special offering to the Lord, the firstfruits of your dough.

²⁰ Ye shall offer your bread a heave offering: as a heave offering from the threshing floor, so shall ye separate it,

²¹ even the firstfruits of your dough, and ye shall give the Lord a heave offering throughout your generations.

²² But whensoever ye shall transgress, and not perform all these commands, which the Lord spoke to Moses;

²³ as the Lord appointed you by the hand of Moses, from the day which the Lord appointed you and forward throughout your generations,

²⁴ then it shall come to pass, if a trespass be committed unwillingly, unknown to the congregation, then shall all the congregation offer a calf of the herd without blemish for a whole burnt offering of sweet savor to the Lord, and its meat offering and its drink offering according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.

²⁵ And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the trespass shall be forgiven them, because it is involuntary; and they have brought their gift, a burnt offering to the Lord for their trespass before the Lord, even for their involuntary sins.

²⁶ And it shall be forgiven as respects all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that is abiding among you, because it is involuntary to all the people.

²⁷ And if one soul sin unwillingly, he shall bring one she-goat of a year old for a sin offering.

² Speak with the children of Israel, and say to them: When you shall (at last) have come into the land which I will give you,

³ and you will make an oblation before the Lord, a burnt offering, or a consecrated sacrifice for the release of a vow, or in a free-will offering, or in your solemnities to render an acceptable service before the Lord, from the herd or from the flock;

⁴ let him who offereth his oblation before the Lord bring for a mincha a tenth of flour sprinkled with the fourth of a hina of oil.

⁵ And wine for a libation the fourth of a hina shall he make upon the burnt offering, or hallowed sacrifice, for one lamb:

⁶ Or for a ram he shall make a mincha of two-tenths of flour sprinkled with the third of a hina of oil;

⁷ And wine for the libation thou shalt bring the third of a hina, to be received with acceptance before the Lord.

⁸ And when thou makest a bullock a burnt offering, or a hallowed sacrifice for the release of a vow, or hallowed sacrifices before the Lord,

⁹ let him bring with the bullock a mincha of three tenths of flour sprinkled with a half hina of oil;

¹⁰ And wine shalt thou bring for the libation the half of a hina, an oblation to be received with acceptance before the Lord.

¹¹ So shalt thou do for one bullock, or one ram, or one lamb from the lambs, or from the kids.

¹² According to the number that you perform so shall you do with each, according to their number.

¹³ All native-born (Hebrews) shall do these things to offer an oblation to be received with favour before the Lord.

¹⁴ And if a sojourner who sojourneth with you, or whoever among you in your generations will make an oblation to be received with favour before the Lord, as you do, so shall he do.

¹⁵ One congregation and one rite shall be for you and for the sojourners who sojourn; it is an everlasting statute; as you are, so shall the sojourner be before the Lord:

¹⁶ One law and one judgment shall be for you and for the sojourners who dwell with you.

¹⁷ And the Lord spake with Mosheh, saying:

¹⁸ Speak with the sons of Israel, and say to them, When you have come into the land into which I will bring you,

¹⁹ and when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall set apart a separation before the Lord.

²⁰ Of the first of your food you shall set apart a cake for a separation; as the separation of the threshing-floor, so shall you set it apart;

²¹ Of the first of your bread (dough) you shall give the separation before the Lord in your generations.

²² And should you be in ignorance, and not do all these commandments of which the Lord hath spoken with Mosheh,

²³ Even all which the Lord commanded you by the hand of Mosheh from the day that the Lord commanded and thenceforward in your generations,

²⁴ It shall be that if anything be hid from the eyes of the congregation and you do ignorantly, then all the congregation shall make a burnt offering of one young bullock, to be received with acceptance before the Lord, with his mincha and his libation, according to the proper manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering:

²⁵ And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, for it was ignorance; but they shall bring their oblation before the Lord on account of their ignorance.

²⁶ And it shall be forgiven to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and to the sojourners who sojourn among them; for all the people (were) in ignorance.

²⁷ And if one sin ignorantly, he shall bring a female kid of the year for a sin offering;

² “Speak to the children of Israel God prevails, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,

³ and will make an offering by fire to Adonai , a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a free will offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Adonai , of the herd, or of the flock;

⁴ then he who offers his offering shall offer to Adonai a meal offering of one tenth of an ephah an omer; 2.3 q; 2.2 L of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin 2.6 qt; 1.2 L of oil.

⁵ You shall prepare wine for the drink offering, the fourth part of a hin 2.6 qt; 1.2 L, with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

⁶ “‘Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a meal offering one tenth of an ephah two omers; 4.6 q; 4.4 L of fine flour mixed with the third part of a hin 2.6 qt; 1.24 L of oil;

⁷ and for the drink offering you shall offer the third part of a hin 2.6 qt; 1.24 L of wine, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai . (5)

⁸ When you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings to Adonai ;

⁹ then shall he offer with the bull a meal offering of three tenths of an ephah three omers; 6.9 q; 6.6 L of fine flour mixed with half a hin 5.2 qt; 2.4 L of oil:

¹⁰ and you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin 5.2 qt; 2.4 L of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai .

¹¹ Thus shall it be done for each bull, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the young goats.

¹² According to the number that you shall prepare, so you shall do to everyone according to their number.

¹³ “‘All who are native-born shall do these things in this way, in offering an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai .

¹⁴ If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, or whoever may be among you throughout all your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai ; as you do, so he shall do.

¹⁵ For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner, a statute forever throughout all your generations. As you are, so shall the foreigner be before Adonai .

¹⁶ One Torah ·Teaching· and one judgement shall be for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner with you.’” (6)

¹⁷ Adonai spoke to Moses Drawn out, saying,

¹⁸ “Speak to the children of Israel God prevails, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land where I bring you,

¹⁹ then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Adonai .

²⁰ Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering. As the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.

²¹ Of the first of your dough, you shall give to Adonai a wave offering throughout all your generations.

²² “‘If by mistake you fail to observe all these mitzvot ·instructions·, which Adonai has spoken to Moses Drawn out,

²³ even all that Adonai has enjoined you by Moses Drawn out, from the day that Adonai gave commandment, and onward throughout all your generations;

²⁴ then it shall be, if it was done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma to Adonai , with its meal offering, and its drink offering, according to the judgement, and one male goat for a sin offering.

²⁵ The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel God prevails, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Adonai , and their sin offering before Adonai , for their error.

²⁶ All the congregation of the children of Israel God prevails shall be forgiven, as well as the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them; for with regard to all the people, it was done unwittingly. (7)

²⁷ “‘If one person sins unwittingly, then he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.

² “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, 'When you go into the land where you will live, which Yahweh will give to you,

³ you are to prepare an offering by fire to Yahweh, either a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a vow or a freewill offering, or an offering at your feasts, to produce a pleasing aroma for Yahweh from the herd or the flock.

⁴ You must offer to Yahweh a burnt offering as well as a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of oil.

⁵ You must also offer with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, one-fourth of a hin of wine for the drink offering for each lamb.

⁶ If you are offering a ram, you must prepare as a grain offering two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil.

⁷ For the drink offering, you must offer a third of a hin of wine. It will produce a sweet aroma for Yahweh.

⁸ When you prepare a bull as a burnt offering or as a sacrifice to fulfill a vow, or as a fellowship offering to Yahweh,

⁹ then you must offer with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil.

¹⁰ You must offer as the drink offering half a hin of wine, as an offering made by fire, to produce a sweet aroma for Yahweh.

¹¹ It must be done this way for each bull, for each ram, and for each of the male lambs or young goats.

¹² Every sacrifice that you prepare and offer must be done as described here.

¹³ All who are native-born Israelites must do these things in this way, when anyone brings an offering made by fire, to produce an aroma that is pleasing to Yahweh.

¹⁴ If a foreigner is staying with you, or whoever may live among you throughout your people's generations, he must make an offering made by fire, to produce a sweet aroma for Yahweh. He must act as you act.

¹⁵ There must be the same law for the community and for the foreigner who stays with you, a permanent law throughout your people's generations. As you are, so also must be the traveler staying with you. He must act as you act before Yahweh.

¹⁶ The same law and decree must apply to you and to the foreigner who is staying with you.'”

¹⁷ Again Yahweh spoke to Moses. He said,

¹⁸ “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, 'When you come into the land where I will take you,

¹⁹ when you eat the food produced in the land, you must offer an offering and present it to me.

²⁰ From the first of your dough you must offer a loaf to raise it up as a raised offering from the threshing floor. You must raise it up in this way.

²¹ You must give to me a raised offering throughout your people's generations from the first of your dough.

²² You will sometimes sin without intending to do so, when you do not obey all these commands that I have spoken to Moses—

²³ everything that I have commanded you through Moses from the day that I began to give you commands and onward throughout your people's generations.

²⁴ In the case of unintentional sin without the community's knowledge, then all the community must offer one young bull as a burnt offering to produce a sweet aroma for Yahweh. Along with this must be made a grain offering and drink offering, as commanded by the decree, and one male goat as a sin offering.

²⁵ The priest must make atonement for all the community of the people of Israel. They will be forgiven because the sin was an error. They have brought their sacrifice, an offering made by fire to me. They have brought their sin offering before me for their error.

²⁶ Then all the community of the people of Israel will be forgiven, and also the foreigners who are staying with them, because all the people committed the sin unintentionally.

²⁷ If a person sins unintentionally, then he must offer a female goat a year old as a sin offering.

³ and will make an offering by fire to Yahweh—a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a free will offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, of the herd, or of the flock—

⁴ then he who offers his offering shall offer to Yahweh a meal offering of one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one fourth of a hin of oil.

⁵ You shall prepare wine for the drink offering, one fourth of a hin, with the burnt offering or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

⁶ “‘For a ram, you shall prepare for a meal offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with the third part of a hin of oil;

⁷ and for the drink offering you shall offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

⁸ When you prepare a bull for a burnt offering or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings to Yahweh,

¹⁷ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁵ One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you , an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are , so shall the stranger be before the LORD.

¹⁶ One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

¹⁷ And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,

¹⁹ Then it shall be, that when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up a heave-offering to the LORD.

²⁰ Ye shall offer a cake of the first of your dough for a heave-offering: as ye do the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye heave it.

²² And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments which the LORD hath spoken to Moses,

²³ Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses , and henceforward among your generations;

²⁴ Then it shall be, if aught shall be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savor to the LORD, with his meat-offering, and his drink-offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering.

²⁵ And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire to the LORD, and their sin-offering before the LORD, for their ignorance:

²⁶ And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.

²⁷ And if any soul shall sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.

⁴ whoever offereth the slain sacrifice, shall offer a sacrifice of flour, the tenth part of ephah, sprinkled altogether with oil, which oil shall have a measure the fourth part of hin;

⁵ and he shall give wine to the flowing sacrifices to be poured, of the same measure, into burnt sacrifice, and slain sacrifice.

⁶ By each lamb and ram shall be the sacrifice of tried flour, of two tenth parts, which shall be sprinkled alto-gether with oil, of the third part of hin;

⁷ and he shall offer wine to the flowing sacrifice, of the third part of the same measure, into odour of sweet-ness to the Lord.

⁸ Forsooth when thou makest a burnt sacrifice, either an offering, of oxen, that thou ful fill a vow, either peaceable sacrifices,

⁹ thou shalt give, by each ox, three tenth parts of tried flour, sprinkled altogether with oil, which shall have the half measure of hin;

¹⁰ and thou shalt give wine to the flowing sacrifice to be poured, of the same measure, into offering of the sweetest odour to the Lord.

²³ and hath commanded by him to you, from the day in which he began to command, and over,

²⁴ and the multitude hath forgotten to do this, it shall offer a calf of the drove, burnt sacrifice into sweetest odour to the Lord, and the sacrifices thereof, and flowing offerings, as the ceremonies thereof ask; and it shall offer a buck of goats for sin.

²⁵ And the priest shall pray for all the multitude of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven to them, for they sinned not willfully. And nevertheless they shall offer incense to the Lord for themselves, and for their sin, and their error;

²⁶ and it shall be forgiven to all the people of the sons of Israel, and to the comelings that be pilgrims among them, for it is the sin of all the multitude by ignorance.

²⁷ That if a soul sinneth unwittingly, it shall offer a she-goat of one year for his sin;

¹⁹ and ye eat of the loaves of that country, ye shall separate a little cake of your pastes to the Lord; (and ye eat of the food of that land, ye shall set apart a little cake as a contribution to the Lord;)

²⁰ as ye shall separate the first fruits of your cornfloors, (as ye shall set apart the first fruits from your threshing floors,)

²¹ so ye shall give the first fruits also of your sowls to the Lord. (so ye shall also give the first fruits of your dough to the Lord.)

²² That if by ignorance ye pass (over) any of those things which the Lord spake to Moses, (And if, by ignorance, ye forget to do any of these things which the Lord spoke to Moses,)

²³ and hath commanded by him to you, from the day in which he began to command (to Moses), and over (or and thereafter),

²⁴ and the multitude hath forgotten to do this, it shall offer a calf of the drove, (for) burnt sacrifice into sweetest odour to the Lord, and the sacrifices thereof, and (the) flowing offerings, as the ceremonies thereof ask; and it shall offer a buck of (the) goats for sin. (but the multitude hath forgotten to do this, they shall offer a calf from the herd, for a burnt sacrifice, to make the sweetest aroma to the Lord, with its grain and wine offerings, as such ceremonies require; and they shall offer a goat buck for a sin offering.)

²⁵ And the priest shall pray for all the multitude of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven to them, for they sinned not willfully. And nevertheless they shall offer incense to the Lord for themselves, and for their sin, and their error; (And the priest shall make amends for all the multitude of the Israelites, and it shall be forgiven to them, for they did not sin willfully, or intentionally. And they have now offered incense to the Lord for themselves, yea, a sin offering for their error;)

²⁶ and it shall be forgiven to all the people of the sons of Israel, and to the comelings that be pilgrims among them, for it is the sin of all the multitude by ignorance. (and so it shall be forgiven to all the people of the Israelites, and to the foreigners who be newcomers among them, for it is a sin of ignorance by all the multitude.)

²⁷ That if a soul sinneth unwittingly, it shall offer a she-goat of one year for his sin; (And if someone sinneth unwittingly, he shall offer a one-year-old she-goat, for his sin offering;)

² and thou schalt seie to hem, Whanne ye han entrid in to the lond of youre abitacioun which Y schal yyue to you,

³ and ye make an offryng to the Lord in to brent sacrifice, ether a pesible sacrifice, and ye payen auowis, ethir offren yiftis bi fre wille, ethir in youre solempnytees ye brennen odour of swetnesse to the Lord, of oxun, ether of scheep;

⁴ who euer offrith the slayn sacrifice, schal offre a sacrifice of flour, the tenthe part of ephi, spreynt togidere with oile, which oil schal haue a mesure the fourthe part of hyn;

⁵ and he schal yyue wyn to fletynge sacrifices to be sched, of the same mesure, in to brent sacrifice, and slayn sacrifice.

⁶ Bi ech loomb and ram schal be the sacrifice of flour, of twey tenthe partis, which schal be spreynt togidere with oile, of the thridde part of hyn;

⁷ and he schal offre wyn to the fletynge sacrifice, of the thridde part of the same mesure, in to odour of swetnesse to the Lord.

⁸ Forsothe whanne thou makist a brent sacrifice, ethir an offryng of oxun, that thou fille avow, ethir pesible sacrifice, thou schalt yyue,

⁹ bi ech oxe, thre tenthe partis of flour, spreynt togidere with oile, which schal haue the half of mesure of hyn;

¹⁰ and thou schalt yyue wyn to fletynge sacrifices to be sched, of the same mesure, in to offryng of the swettest odour to the Lord.

¹¹ So ye schulen do bi ech oxe, and ram,

¹² and lomb, and kide;

¹³ as wel men borun in the lond,

¹⁴ as pilgrymys, schulen offre sacrifices bi the same custom;

¹⁵ o comaundement and doom schal be, as wel to you as to comelyngis of the lond.

¹⁶ And the Lord spak to Moises,

¹⁷ and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem,

¹⁸ Whanne ye comen in to the lond which Y schal yyue to you,

¹⁹ and `ye eten of the looues of that cuntrey, ye

²⁰ schulen departe the firste fruytis of youre metis to the Lord; as ye schulen departe the firste fruytis of corn flooris,

²¹ so ye schulen yyue the firste fruytis also of sewis to the Lord.

²² That if bi ignoraunce ye passen ony of tho thingis whiche the Lord spak to Moyses,

²³ and comaundide bi hym to you, fro the dai in which he bigan to comaunde,

²⁴ and ouer, and the multitude hath foryete to do, it schal offre a calf of the drooue, brent sacrifice in to swettist odour to the Lord, and the sacrificis therof, and fletynge offryngis, as the cerymonyes therof axen; and it schal offre a `buc of geet for synne.

²⁵ And the preest schal preie for al the multitude of the sones of Israel, and it schal be foryouun to hem, for thei synneden not wilfuli. And neuerthelesse thei schulen offre encense to the Lord for hemsilf, and for her synne and errour;

²⁶ and it schal be foryouun to al the puple of the sones of Israel, and to comelyngis that ben pilgryms among hem, for it is the synne of al the multitude bi ignoraunce.

²⁷ That if a soule synneth vnwityngli, it schal offre a geet of o yeer for his synne; and the preest schal preye for that soule, for it synnede vnwityngli bifor the Lord;

² 'Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye come in unto the land of your dwellings, which I am giving to you,

³ then ye have prepared a fire-offering to Jehovah, a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice, at separating a vow or free-will-offering, or in your appointed things, to make a sweet fragrance to Jehovah, out of the herd, or out of the flock.

⁴ 'And he who is bringing near his offering to Jehovah hath brought near a present of flour, a tenth deal, mixed with a fourth of the hin of oil;

⁵ and wine for a libation, a fourth of the hin thou dost prepare for the burnt-offering or for a sacrifice, for the one lamb;

⁶ or for a ram thou dost prepare a present of flour, two-tenth deals, mixed with oil, a third of the hin;

⁷ and wine for a libation, a third part of the hin, thou dost bring near — a sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

⁸ 'And when thou makest a son of the herd a burnt-offering or a sacrifice, at separating a vow or peace-offerings to Jehovah,

⁹ then he hath brought near for the son of the herd a present of flour, three-tenth deals, mixed with oil, a half of the hin;

¹⁰ and wine thou bringest near for a libation, a half of the hin — a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah;

¹¹ thus it is done for the one ox, or for the one ram, or for a lamb of the sheep or of the goats.

¹² 'According to the number that ye prepare, so ye do to each, according to their number;

¹³ every native doth thus with these, at bringing near a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah;

¹⁴ and when a sojourner sojourneth with you, or whoso is in your midst to your generations, and he hath made a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah, as ye do so he doth.

¹⁵ 'One statute is for you of the congregation and for the sojourner who is sojourning, a statute age-during to your generations: as ye are so is the sojourner before Jehovah;

¹⁶ one law and one ordinance is to you and to the sojourner who is sojourning with you.'

¹⁷ And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹⁸ 'Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, In your coming in unto the land whither I am bringing you in,

¹⁹ then it hath been, in your eating of the bread of the land, ye heave up a heave-offering to Jehovah;

²⁰ the beginning of your dough a cake ye heave up — a heave-offering; as the heave-offering of a threshing-floor, so ye do heave it.

²¹ Of the beginning of your dough ye do give to Jehovah a heave-offering — to your generations.

²² 'And when ye err, and do not all these commands which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,

²³ the whole that Jehovah hath charged upon you by the hand of Moses, from the day that Jehovah hath commanded, and henceforth, to your generations,

²⁴ then it hath been, if from the eyes of the company it hath been done in ignorance, that all the company have prepared one bullock, a son of the herd, for a burnt-offering, for sweet fragrance to Jehovah, and its present, and its libation, according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering.

²⁵ 'And the priest hath made atonement for all the company of the sons of Israel, and it hath been forgiven them, for it is ignorance, and they — they have brought in their offering, a fire-offering to Jehovah, even their sin-offering before Jehovah for their ignorance;

²⁶ and it hath been forgiven to all the company of the sons of Israel, and to the sojourner who is sojourning in their midst; for to all the company it is done in ignorance.

²⁷ 'And if one person sin in ignorance, then he hath brought near a she-goat, daughter of a year, for a sin-offering;
