Numbers 14:20-33 in American Standard Version (1901)

20 And Jehovah said, I have pardoned according to thy word:
21 but in very deed, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of Jehovah;
22 because all those men that have seen my glory, and my signs, which I wrought in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tempted me these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
23 surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that despised me see it:
24 but my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
25 Now the Amalekite and the Canaanite dwell in the valley: to-morrow turn ye, and get you into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.
26 And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, that murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.
28 Say unto them, As I live, saith Jehovah, surely as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:
29 your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, that have murmured against me,
30 surely ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware that I would make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
31 But your little ones, that ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have rejected.
32 But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness.
33 And your children shall be wanderers in the wilderness forty years, and shall bear your whoredoms, until your dead bodies be consumed in the wilderness.

Numbers 14:20-33 in Brenton Septuagint Translation

20 And the Lord said to Moses, I am gracious to them according to thy word.
21 But as I live and my name is living, so the glory of the Lord shall fill all the earth.
22 For all the men who see my glory, and the signs which I wrought in Egypt, and in the wilderness, and have tempted me this tenth time, and have not hearkened to my voice,
23 surely they shall not see the land, which I sware to their fathers; but their children which are with me here, as many as know not good or evil, every inexperienced youth, to them will I give the land; but none who have provoked me shall see it.
24 But my servant Chaleb, because there was another spirit in him, and he followed me, I will bring him into the land into which he entered, and his seed shall inherit it.
25 But Amalec and the Chananite dwell in the valley: to-morrow turn and depart for the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.
26 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
27 How long shall I endure this wicked congregation? I have heard their murmurings against me, even the murmuring of the children of Israel, which they have murmured concerning you.
28 Say to them, As I live, saith the Lord: surely as ye spoke into my ears, so will I do to you.
29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all those of you that were reviewed, and those of you that were numbered from twenty years old and upward, all that murmured against me,
30 ye shall not enter into the land for which I stretched out my hand to establish you upon it; except only Chaleb the son of Jephonne, and Joshua the son of Naue.
31 And your little ones, who ye said should be a prey, them will I bring into the land; and they shall inherit the land, which ye rejected.
32 And your carcases shall fall in this wilderness.
33 And your sons shall be fed in the wilderness forty years, and they shall bear your fornication, until your carcases be consumed in the wilderness.

20 Then Yahweh replied, “I have forgiven them, as you requested me to.
21 But, just as certainly as I live and that people all over the world can see my ◄glory/glorious power►, I solemnly declare this:
22 All these people saw my glory and all the miracles that I performed in Egypt and in the desert, but they disobeyed me, and many times they tested whether they could continue to do evil things without my punishing them.
23 Because of that, not one of them will see the land that I promised their ancestors that I would give to them. No one who rejected me will see that land.
24 But Caleb, who serves me well, is different from the others. He obeys me completely. So I will bring him into that land that he has already seen, and his descendants will inherit/possess some of it.
25 So, since the descendants of Amalek and Canaan who are living in the valleys in Canaan are very strong, when you leave here tomorrow, instead of traveling toward Canaan, go back along the road through the desert towards the Red Sea.”
26 Then Yahweh said to Aaron and Moses/me,
27 “How long will the wicked people of this nation keep complaining about me RHQ? I have heard everything that they have grumbled/complained against me.
28 So now tell them this: ‘Just as certainly as I, Yahweh, live, I will do exactly what you said would happen.
29 I will cause all of you to die here in this desert! Because you grumbled about me, none of you who are more than twenty years old and who were counted when Moses counted everyone
30 will enter the land that I solemnly promised to give to you. Only Caleb and Joshua will enter that land.
31 You said that your children would be taken from you to become slaves, but I will take them into the land, and they will enjoy living in the land that you ◄rejected/said that you could not conquer►.
32 But as for you adults, you will die here in this desert.
33 And like shepherds wander around in the desert as they take care of their sheep, your children will wander around in this desert for forty years. Because you adults were not loyal/faithful to me, your children will suffer until you all die in the desert.

20 And the Lord said, I have had mercy, as you say:
21 But truly, as I am living, and as all the earth will be full of the glory of the Lord;
22 Because all these men, having seen my glory and the signs which I have done in Egypt and in the waste land, still have put me to the test ten times, and have not given ear to my voice;
23 They will not see the land about which I made an oath to their fathers; not one of these by whom I have not been honoured will see it.
24 But my servant Caleb, because he had a different spirit in him, and has been true to me with all his heart, him I will take into that land into which he went, and his seed will have it for their heritage.
25 Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites are in the valley; tomorrow, turning round, go into the waste land by the way to the Red Sea.
26 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
27 How long am I to put up with this evil people and their outcries against me? The words which they say against me have come to my ears.
28 Say to them, By my life, says the Lord, as certainly as your words have come to my ears, so certainly will I do this to you:
29 Your dead bodies will be stretched out in this waste land; and of all your number, all those of twenty years old and over who have been crying out against me,
30 Not one will come into the land which I gave my word you would have for your resting-place, but only Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, the son of Nun.
31 And your little ones, whom you said would come into strange hands, I will take in, and they will see the land which you would not have.
32 But as for you, your dead bodies will be stretched in this waste land.
33 And your children will be wanderers in the waste land for forty years, undergoing punishment for your false ways, till your bodies become dust in the waste land.

20 And the Lord said: I have forgiven according to thy word.
21 As I live: and the whole earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.
22 But yet all the men that have seen my majesty, and the signs that I have done in Egypt, and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now ten times, and have not obeyed my voice,
23 Shall not see the land for which I aware to their fathers, neither shall any one of them that hath detracted me behold it.
24 My servant Caleb, who being full of another spirit hath followed me, I will bring into this land which he hath gone round: and his seed shall possess it.
25 For the Amalecite and the Chanaanite dwell in the valleys. Tomorrow remove the camp, and return into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.
26 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
27 How long doth this wicked multitude murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel.
28 Say therefore to them: As I live, saith the Lord: According as you have spoken in my hearing, so will I do to you.
29 In the wilderness shall your carcasses lie. All you that were numbered from twenty years old and upward, and have murmured against me,
30 Shall not enter into the land, over which I lifted up my bend to make you dwell therein, except Caleb the son of Jephone, and Josue the son of Nun.
31 But your children, of whom you said, that they should be a prey to the enemies, will I bring in: that they may see the land which you have despised.

20 “I have forgiven them as you asked,” the Lord replied.
21 “But even so, as I live and as the whole earth is filled with the Lord's glory,
22 not a single one of the those who saw my glory and the miracles I did in Egypt and in the desert—but provoked me and refused to obey me time and time again—
23 not a single one of them is ever going to see the country I promised to give their forefathers. None of those who rejected me will see it.
24 But because my servant Caleb has a totally different spirit and is fully committed to me, I will lead him to the country he visited, and his descendants will own it.
25 Since the Amalekites and Canaanites are living in the valleys, tomorrow you are to turn around and head back into the desert, taking the route towards the Red Sea.”
26 The Lord told Moses and Aaron,
27 “How much longer are these wicked people going to criticize me? I've heard what they're saying, making complaints against me.
28 Go and tell them, ‘As I live, declares the Lord, I'll do just what I heard you say you wanted, believe me!
29 All of you will die in this desert, everyone who was registered in the census that counted those aged twenty or over, because you made complaints against me.
30 Absolutely none of you will enter the country I promised to give you to live in, except for Caleb, son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, son of Nun.
31 However, I will take your children—those you said would be taken away as plunder—into the country you rejected, and they will appreciate it.
32 But you—you are all going to die in this desert.
33 Your children will wander in the desert for forty years, suffering because of your lack of trust until all your bodies lie buried in the desert.

20 And the LORD said: 'I have pardoned according to thy word.
21 But in very deed, as I live — and all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD —
22 surely all those men that have seen My glory, and My signs, which I wrought in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have put Me to proof these ten times, and have not hearkened to My voice;
23 surely they shall not see the land which I swore unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that despised Me see it.
24 But My servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed Me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
25 Now the Amalekite and the Canaanite dwell in the Vale; tomorrow turn ye, and get you into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.'
26 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying:
27 'How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, that keep murmuring against Me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they keep murmuring against Me.
28 Say unto them: As I live, saith the LORD, surely as ye have spoken in Mine ears, so will I do to you:
29 your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness, and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, ye that have murmured against Me;
30 surely ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I lifted up My hand that I would make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
31 But your little ones, that ye said would be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have rejected.
32 But as for you, your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness.

20 And the Lord said to Moses, I am gracious to them according to thy word.
21 But as I live and my name is living, so the glory of the Lord shall fill all the earth.
22 For all the men who see my glory, and the signs which I wrought in Egypt, and in the wilderness, and have tempted me this tenth time, and have not hearkened to my voice,
23 surely they shall not see the land, which I swore to their fathers; but their children which are with me here, as many as know not good or evil, every inexperienced youth, to them will I give the land; but none who have provoked me shall see it.

20 And Jehovah saith, 'I have forgiven, according to thy word;
21 and yet, I live — and it is filled — the whole earth — with the honour of Jehovah;
22 for all the men who are seeing My honour, and My signs, which I have done in Egypt, and in the wilderness, and try Me these ten times, and have not hearkened to My voice —
23 they see not the land which I have sworn to their fathers, yea, none of those despising Me see it;
24 and My servant Caleb, because there hath been another spirit with him, and he is fully after Me — I have brought him in unto the land whither he hath entered, and his seed doth possess it.
25 'And the Amalekite and the Canaanite are dwelling in the valley; to-morrow turn ye and journey for yourselves into the wilderness — the way of the Red Sea.'
26 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,
27 'Until when hath this evil company that which they are murmuring against Me? the murmurings of the sons of Israel, which they are murmuring against Me, I have heard;
28 say unto them, I live — an affirmation of Jehovah — if, as ye have spoken in Mine ears — so I do not to you;
