⁸ And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and they shall be to you for a statute for ever throughout your generations.

⁹ And when ye go to war in your land against the adversary that oppresseth you, then ye shall sound an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before Jehovah your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

¹⁰ Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am Jehovah your God.

¹¹ And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.

¹² And the children of Israel set forward according to their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran.

¹³ And they first took their journey according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

¹⁴ And in the first place the standard of the camp of the children of Judah set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

¹⁵ And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.

¹⁶ And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.

¹⁷ And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bare the tabernacle, set forward.

⁸ And the priests the sons of Aaron shall sound with the trumpets; and it shall be a perpetual ordinance for you throughout your generations.

⁹ And if ye shall go forth to war in your land against your enemies that are opposed to you, then shall ye sound with the trumpets; and ye shall be had in remembrance before the Lord, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

¹⁰ And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall sound with the trumpets at your whole-burnt-offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.

¹² And the children of Israel set forward with their baggage in the wilderness of Sina; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan.

⁸ The priests who are descended from Aaron are the ones who should blow the trumpets. That is a regulation that will never be changed.

⁹ When you fight against enemies who attack you in your own land, tell the priests to blow the trumpets loudly. I, Yahweh, your God, will hear that, and I will rescue you from your enemies.

¹⁰ Also tell the priests to blow the trumpets when the people are happy, and at the festivals each year, and at the times when they celebrate the new moon each month. Tell them to blow the trumpets when the people bring offerings that will be completely burned, and when they bring offerings to maintain fellowship with me. If they do that, it will help you to remember that I, Yahweh your God, will help you.”

¹¹ On the twentieth day of May in the second year after the/we Israelis left Egypt, the cloud rose up from above the Sacred Tent.

¹² So we/the Israelis traveled from the Sinai Desert, and we/they continued traveling north until the cloud stopped in the Paran Desert.

¹³ That was the first time we/they moved, obeying the instructions that Yahweh had given to Moses/me to tell them.

¹⁴ The group that went first, carrying their flag/banner, was the group from the tribe of Judah. Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, was their leader.

¹⁵ The group from the tribe of Issachar followed them. Nethanel, the son of Zuar, was their leader.

¹⁶ The group from the tribe of Zebulun went next. Eliab, the son of Helon, was their leader.

¹⁷ Then they dismantled the Sacred Tent, and the descendants of Gershon and Merari carried it, and they went next.

⁸ The horns are to be sounded by the sons of Aaron, the priests; this is to be a law for you for ever, from generation to generation.

⁹ And if you go to war in your land against any who do you wrong, then let the loud note of the horn be sounded; and the Lord your God will keep you in mind and give you salvation from those who are against you.

¹⁰ And on days of joy and on your regular feasts and on the first day of every month, let the horns be sounded over your burned offerings and your peace-offerings; and they will put the Lord in mind of you: I am the Lord your God.

¹¹ Now in the second year, on the twentieth day of the second month, the cloud was taken up from over the Tent of witness.

¹² And the children of Israel went on their journey out of the waste land of Sinai; and the cloud came to rest in the waste land of Paran.

¹³ They went forward for the first time on their journey as the Lord had given orders by the hand of Moses.

¹⁴ First the flag of the children of Judah went forward with their armies: and at the head of his army was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab.

¹⁵ And at the head of the army of the children of Issachar was Nethanel, the son of Zuar.

¹⁶ And at the head of the army of the children of Zebulun was Eliab, the son of Helon.

¹⁷ Then the House was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who were responsible for moving the House, went forward.

⁸ the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an everlasting statute throughout your generations.

⁹ And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before Jehovah your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

¹⁰ And in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings and over your sacrifices of peace-offering; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am Jehovah your God.

¹⁴ The standard of the camp of the children of Judah set forward first according to their hosts, and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab;

¹⁵ and over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar;

¹⁶ and over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.

¹⁷ And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward bearing the tabernacle.

⁸ And the sons of Aaron the priest shall sound the trumpets: and this shall be an ordinance for ever in your generations.

⁹ If you go forth to war out of your land against the enemies that fight against you, you shall sound aloud with the trumpets, and there shall be a remembrance of you before the Lord your God, that you may be delivered out of the hands of your enemies.

¹⁰ If at any time you shall have a banquet, and on your festival days, and on the first days of your months, you shall sound the trumpets over the holocausts, and the sacrifices of peace offerings, that they may be to you for a remembrance of your God. I am the Lord your God.

¹¹ The second year, in the second month, the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle of the covenant.

¹² And the children of Israel marched by their troops from the desert of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan.

¹³ And the first went forward according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

¹⁴ The sons of Juda by their troops: whose prince was Nahasson the son of Aminadab.

¹⁵ In the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince was Nathanael the son of Suar.

¹⁶ In the tribe of Zabulon, the prince was Eliab the son of Helon.

¹⁷ And the tabernacle was taken down, and the sons of Gerson and Merari set forward, bearing it.

⁸ Aaron's descendants are to blow the trumpets. This regulation is for all time and for all future generations.

⁹ When you're in your own land and have to go into battle against an enemy who has attacked you, blow the alarm signal and the Lord your God won't forget you—he will save you from your enemies.

¹⁰ Blow the trumpets when you celebrate too, at your regular feasts and at the beginning of each month. This is when you give your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings which act as a reminder for you before your God. I am the Lord your God.”

¹¹ The cloud rose up from the Tabernacle of the Testimony on the twentieth day of the second month of the second year.

¹² The Israelites left the Desert of Sinai and moved from place to place until the cloud stopped in the Desert of Paran.

¹³ This was the first time they moved out following the Lord's command through Moses.

¹⁴ The tribal divisions of Judah went first, marching out under their flag, with Nahshon, son of Amminadab, in charge.

¹⁵ Nethanel, son of Zuar, was in charge of the tribal division of Issachar,

¹⁶ and Eliab, son of Helon, was in charge of the tribal division of Zebulun.

¹⁷ Then the Tabernacle was dismantled, and the Gershonites and the Merarites set off, carrying it.

⁸ And the sonnes of Aaron the Priest shall blowe the trumpets, and ye shall haue them as a lawe for euer in your generations.

⁹ And when ye goe to warre in your lande against the enemie that vexeth you, ye shall blowe an alarme with the trumpets, and ye shall bee remembred before the Lord your God, and shalbe saued from your enemies.

¹⁰ Also in the day of your gladnesse, and in your feast dayes, and in the beginning of your moneths, ye shall also blow the trumpets ouer your burnt sacrifices, and ouer your peace offrings, that they may be a remembrance for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.

¹¹ And in the seconde yeere, in the seconde moneth, and in the twentieth day of the moneth the cloude was taken vp from the Tabernacle of the Testimonie.

¹² And ye children of Israel departed on their iourneys out of the desart of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wildernesse of Paran.

¹³ So they first tooke their iourney at the comandement of the Lord, by ye hand of Moses.

¹⁴ In the first place went the standerd of the hoste of the children of Iudah, according to their armies: and Nahshon the sonne of Amminabad was ouer his band.

¹⁵ And ouer the band of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel ye sonne of Zuar.

¹⁶ And ouer the band of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the sonne of Helon.

¹⁷ When the Tabernacle was taken downe, then the sonnes of Gershon, and the sonnes of Merari went forward bearing the Tabernacle.

¹¹ And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

¹² And the children of Israel set forward on their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud halted in the wilderness of Paran.

¹³ And they set forward for the first time at the order of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

¹⁴ And the standard of the camp of the children of Judah set forward at the first, according to their armies: and over their host was Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.

¹⁵ And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.

¹⁶ And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Chelon.

¹⁷ And in the mean time the tabernacle was taken down; and then set forward the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, the bearers of the tabernacle.

¹⁰ And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall sound with the trumpets at your whole burnt offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.

¹¹ And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud went up from the tabernacle of witness.

¹² And the children of Israel set forward with their baggage in the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

¹³ And the first rank departed by the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

¹⁴ And they first set in motion the order of the camp of the children of Judah with their host; and over their host was Nahshon, son of Amminadab.

¹⁵ And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, was Nethanel son of Zuar.

¹⁶ And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, was Eliab the son of Helon.

¹⁷ And they shall take down the tabernacle, and the sons of Gershon shall set forward, and the sons of Merari, who bear the tabernacle.

⁸ And the sons of Aharon, the priests, are to blow with the trumpets; and this shall be to you a perpetual statute for your generations.

⁹ And when you enter upon the battle fight for your country, with the oppressors who oppress you, ye shall blow the alarm with the trumpets, that your remembrance may come for good before the Lord your God, (and) that you may be delivered from them who hate you.

¹⁰ And on the day of your rejoicing, and on your solemnities, and at the beginning of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over your consecrated victims; and they shall be for a memorial before your God: I am the Lord your God.

¹¹ And it was in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the Cloud was uplifted from above the Tabernacle of the Testimony,

¹² And the children of Israel went forward upon their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai; and the Cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan.

¹³ And they went forward at the first by the Word of the Lord through Mosheh.

¹⁴ In the first place the standard of the camp of the Beni Jehudah went forward by their hosts; and over the host was Nachshon bar Aminadab.

¹⁵ And over the host of the tribe of the Beni Issakar, Nethanel bar Zuar.

¹⁶ And over the host of the tribe of the Beni Zebulun, Eliab bar Chelon.

¹⁷ And the tabernacle was taken down, and the sons of Gershon went forward, and the sons of Merari, carrying the tabernacle.

⁸ “The sons of Aaron Light-bringer, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be to you for a statute forever throughout all your generations.

⁹ When you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then you will be remembered before Adonai your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.

¹⁰ “Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am Adonai your God.” (5)

¹¹ In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.

¹² The children of Israel God prevails went forward according to their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai Thorn; and the cloud stayed in the wilderness of Paran.

¹³ They first went forward according to the order of Adonai through Moses Drawn out.

¹⁴ First, the standard of the camp of the children of Judah Praised went forward according to their armies. Nahshon the son of Amminadab was over his army.

¹⁵ Nethanel the son of Zuar was over the army of the tribe of the children of Issachar Hire, Reward.

¹⁶ Eliab the son of Helon was over the army of the tribe of the children of Zebulun Living together.

¹⁷ The tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bore the tabernacle, went forward.

⁸ The sons of Aaron, the priests, must blow the trumpets. This will always be a regulation for you throughout your people's generations.

⁹ When you go to war in your land against an adversary who oppresses you, then you must sound an alarm with the trumpets. I, Yahweh your God, will call you to mind and save you from your enemies.

¹⁰ Also, at the times of celebration, both your regular festivals and at the beginnings of the months, you must blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices for your fellowship offerings. These will act as a reminder of you to me, your God. I am Yahweh your God.”

¹¹ In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was lifted from the tabernacle of the covenant decrees.

¹² The people of Israel then went on their journey from the wilderness of Sinai. The cloud stopped in the wilderness of Paran.

¹³ They made their first journey, following Yahweh's command given through Moses.

¹⁴ The camp under the banner of Judah's descendants went out first, moving out their individual armies. Nahshon son of Amminadab led Judah's army.

¹⁵ Nethanel son of Zuar led the army of the tribe of Issachar's descendants.

¹⁶ Eliab son of Helon led the army of the tribe of Zebulun's descendants.

¹⁷ The descendants of Gershon and of Merari, who cared for the tabernacle, took down the tabernacle and then set out on their journey.

¹⁰ If any time ye shall have a feast, and holidays, and calends, that is, the first day of the month, ye shall sing in trumps upon the burnt sacrifices, and the peaceable sacrifices, that those or they be to you into remembering of your God; I am your Lord God.

¹¹ In the second year, in the second month, in the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was raised up from the tabernacle of the bond of peace.

¹² And the sons of Israel went forth by their companies from the desert of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

¹³ And the sons of Judah by their companies, of which the prince was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab,

¹⁴ moved first tents, by the Lord’s commandment, made in the hand of Moses.

¹⁵ In the lineage of the sons of Issachar the prince was Nethaneel, the son of Zuar.

¹⁶ In the lineage of the sons of Zebulun the prince was Eliab, the son of Helon.

¹⁷ And the tabernacle was taken down, which the sons of Gershon and Merari bare, and they went forth.

⁸ The sons of Aaron, the priest(s), shall sound with the trumps, and this shall be a lawful thing everlasting in your generations (or and this shall be an everlasting law in all your generations).

⁹ If ye shall go out of your land to battle against the enemies that fight against you, ye shall cry with trumps sounding, and the bethinking of you shall be before your Lord God, that ye be delivered from the hands of your enemies. (If ye shall go out of your land to do battle against the enemies who fight against you, ye shall cry with sounding trumpets, and then the remembrance of you shall be before the Lord your God, and ye shall be delivered from the hands of your enemies.)

¹⁰ If any time ye shall have a feast, and holidays, and calends, that is, the first day of the month, ye shall sing in trumps upon the burnt sacrifices, and the peaceable sacrifices, that those be to you into remembering of your God; I am your Lord God. (And at the times that ye have feasts, and holidays, and calends, that is, the first day of the month, ye shall sing with trumpets over the burnt sacrifices, and the peace offerings, so that they bring forth a remembrance of you before your God; I am the Lord your God.)

¹¹ In the second year, in the second month, in the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was raised up from the tabernacle of the bond of peace. (Now in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud lifted up from the Tabernacle of the Covenant.)

¹² And the sons of Israel went forth by their companies from the desert of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran. (And the Israelites went forth by their companies from the Sinai Desert; and the cloud stopped in the wilderness of Paran.)

¹³ And the sons of Judah by their companies, of which the prince was Nahshon (or of whom the leader was Nahshon), the son of Amminadab,

¹⁴ moved first tents, by the Lord’s commandment, made in the hand of Moses. (moved their tents first, at the Lord’s command, spoken by Moses.)

¹⁵ In the lineage of the sons of Issachar the prince was Nethaneel, the son of Zuar.

¹⁶ In the lineage of (the sons of) Zebulun the prince was Eliab, the son of Helon.

¹⁷ And the tabernacle was taken down, which the sons of Gershon and Merari bare, and they went forth.

⁸ The sones of Aaron preest schulen sowne with trumpis, and this schal be a lawful thing euerlastynge in youre generaciouns.

⁹ If ye schulen go out of youre lond to batel ayens enemyes that fiyten ayens you, ye schulen crye with trumpis sownynge, and the bithenkyng of you schal be bifor youre Lord God, that ye be delyuered fro the hondis of youre enemyes.

¹⁰ If ony tyme ye schulen haue a feeste, and halidaies, and calendis, ye schulen synge in trumpis on brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices, that tho be to you in to remembryng of youre God; Y am youre Lord God.

¹¹ In the secounde yeer, in the secounde monethe, in the twentithe dai of the monethe, the cloude was reisid fro the tabernacle of boond of pees.

¹² And the sones of Israel yeden forth bi her cumpenyes fro deseert of Synay; and the cloude restide in the wildirnesse of Faran.

¹³ And the sones of Juda bi her cumpenyes, of whiche the prince was Naason, the sone of Amynadab, moueden first tentis,

¹⁴ bi the Lordis comaundement maad in the hond of Moises.

¹⁵ In the lynage of the sones of Ysacar the prince was Nathanael, the sone of Suar.

¹⁶ In the lynage of Sabulon the prince was Heliab, the sone of Helon.

¹⁷ And the tabernacle was takun doun, which the sones of Gerson and of Merary baren, and `yeden out.

⁸ and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been to you for a statute age-during to your generations.

⁹ 'And when ye go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then ye have shouted with the trumpets, and ye have been remembered before Jehovah your God, and ye have been saved from your enemies.

¹⁰ 'And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed seasons, and in the beginnings of your months, ye have blown also with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been to you for a memorial before your God; I, Jehovah, am your God.'

¹¹ And it cometh to pass — in the second year, in the second month, in the twentieth of the month — the cloud hath gone up from off the tabernacle of the testimony,

¹² and the sons of Israel journey in their journeyings from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud doth tabernacle in the wilderness of Paran;

¹³ and they journey at first, by the command of Jehovah, in the hand of Moses.

¹⁴ And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeyeth in the first place, by their hosts, and over its host is Nahshon son of Amminadab.

¹⁵ And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar is Nathaneel son of Zuar.

¹⁶ And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon;

¹⁷ And the tabernacle hath been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, bearing the tabernacle.
