Matthew 28:5-8 in English

⁵ And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, who hath been crucified.

⁶ He is not here; for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

⁷ And go quickly, and tell his disciples, He is risen from the dead; and lo, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

⁸ And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.

⁵ The angel said to the two women, “You should not be afraid! I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was {whom they} ◄nailed to a cross/crucified►.

⁶ He is not here! God has ◄caused him to be alive again/raised him from the dead►, just like Jesus told you would happen! Come and see the place where his body lay!

⁷ Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead! He will go ahead of you to Galilee district. You will see him there.’ Pay attention to what I have told you!”

⁸ So the women left the tomb quickly. They were afraid, but they were also very joyful. They ran to tell us disciples what had happened.

⁵ The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.

⁶ He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.

⁷ Go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.”

⁵ Now the angel spoke up and said to the women: “Do not be afraid! I know that you are looking for the Jesus who was crucified.

⁶ He is not here, because He is risen, just like He said! Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.

⁷ Now go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead; and get this, He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. There, I have told you!”

⁸ So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to report to His disciples.

⁵ The angel told the women, “Don't be afraid! I know you're looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

⁶ He's not here. He's risen from the dead, just as he said he would. Come and see where the Lord was lying.

⁷ Now go quickly and tell his disciples that he's risen from the dead and that he's going on ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, I promise you!”

⁸ They left the tomb quickly, both afraid and very happy, running to tell his disciples.

⁵ But the Angel answered, and said to the women, Feare ye not: for I know that ye seeke Iesus which was crucified:

⁶ He is not here, for he is risen; as he saide: come, see the place where the Lord was laid,

⁷ And go quickly, and tel his disciples that he is risen from ye dead: and behold, he goeth before you into Galile: there ye shall see him: loe, I haue told you.

⁸ So they departed quickly from the sepulchre, with feare and great ioye, and did runne to bring his disciples worde.

⁶ He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.

⁷ Go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee District, Circuit; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.”

⁸ They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.

⁵ Then the angel said to the women, “Don’t be afraid. I know that you are looking for Jesus, the one they killed on a cross.

⁶ But Jesus is not here. God made him alive again, just like he told you. Come over here and see the place where he was lying.

⁷ Now you have to go quickly to his followers. Tell them, ‘Jesus is alive again, and he is going to Galilee country ahead of you mob. You have to go and see him there.’ That is my message for you.”

⁸ Then the women ran away from that cave. They were really frightened, but they were really happy too. They were running to the other followers of Jesus, to tell them the angel’s message.

⁵ The angell answered and sayde to the wemen feare ye not. I knowe that ye seke Iesus which was crucified:

⁶ he is not here: he is rysen as he sayde. Come and se the place where the lorde was put:

⁷ and goo quickly and tell his disciples that he is rysen from deeth. And beholde he will go before you into Galile there ye shall se him. Lo I have tolde you.

⁸ And they departed quickly from the sepulcre with feare and greate Ioye: and did runne to bringe his disciples worde.

⁶ he is not here, for he is risen, as he said (he would be); come ye, and see ye the place, where the Lord was laid.

⁷ And (now) go ye soon, and say ye to his disciples, that he is risen. And lo! he shall go before you into Galilee; there ye shall see him. Lo! I have before-said to you.

⁸ And they went out soon from the burials or from the sepulchre, with dread, and great joy, running to tell to his disciples. (And they went out quickly from the tomb, with fearful reverence, and great joy, running to tell his disciples.)

⁵ But the aungel answeride, and seide to the wymmen, Nyle ye drede, for Y woot that ye seken Jhesu, that was crucified;

⁶ he is not here, for he is risun, as he seide; come ye, and se ye the place, where the Lord was leid.

⁷ And go ye soone, and seie ye to his disciplis, that he is risun. And lo! he schal go bifore you in to Galilee; there ye schulen se hym.

⁸ Lo! Y haue biforseid to you. And thei wenten out soone fro the biriels, with drede and greet ioye, rennynge to telle to hise disciplis.

⁵ And the messenger answering said to the women, 'Fear not ye, for I have known that Jesus, who hath been crucified, ye seek;

⁶ he is not here, for he rose, as he said; come, see the place where the Lord was lying;

⁷ and having gone quickly, say ye to his disciples, that he rose from the dead; and lo, he doth go before you to Galilee, there ye shall see him; lo, I have told you.'

⁸ And having gone forth quickly from the tomb, with fear and great joy, they ran to tell to his disciples;
