⁴⁷ While he yet spake, behold, a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them; and he drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

⁴⁸ But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

⁴⁹ And when they that were about him saw what would follow, they said, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

⁵⁰ And a certain one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his right ear.

⁵¹ But Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye them thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

⁵² And Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and elders, that were come against him, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves?

⁵³ When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched not forth your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

⁴⁷ While Jesus was still speaking, a crowd came to him. Judas, even though he was one of the twelve disciples, was leading them. He came close to Jesus and kissed him on the cheek as if to greet him, but was really a signal to those with him which one was Jesus.

⁴⁸ Jesus said to him, “Judas, ◄I am disappointed that it is by kissing me that you are enabling my enemies to seize me, the one who came from heaven!/is it by kissing me as though you loved me that you are enabling my enemies to seize me, the one who came from heaven?► RHQ”

⁴⁹ When the disciples who were around Jesus realized what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, shall we (exc) strike them with our swords?”

⁵⁰ One of his disciples drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest to kill him, but only cut off his right ear.

⁵¹ But Jesus said, “Do not do any more of that!” He touched the servant's ear and healed him.

⁵² Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the Temple guards, and the Jewish elders who had come to seize him, “◄It is ridiculous that you have come here with swords and clubs to capture MTY me, as if I were a bandit!/Why have you come here with swords and clubs to capture MTY me, as if I were a bandit?► RHQ Day after day I was with you in the Temple courtyard, and you did not seize me! But this is the time MTY when God is allowing you to do what you want. It is also the time MTY when God is allowing Satan, who rules MTY in the darkness, to do what he wants.”

⁴⁷ While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared. He who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him.

⁴⁸ But Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”

⁴⁷ And while he was saying these words, there came a band of people, and Judas, one of the twelve, was in front of them, and he came near to Jesus to give him a kiss.

⁴⁸ But Jesus said to him, Judas, will you be false to the Son of man with a kiss?

⁴⁹ And when those who were with him saw what was coming, they said, Lord, may we not make use of our swords?

⁵⁰ And one of them gave a blow to the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.

⁵¹ But Jesus, answering, said, Put up with this, at least. And touching his ear, he made it well.

⁵² And Jesus said to the chief priests and the captains of the Temple and the rulers, who had come against him, Have you come out as against a thief, with swords and sticks?

⁵³ When I was in the Temple with you every day, your hands were not stretched out against me: but this is your hour, and the authority of the dark power.

⁴⁷ As he was yet speaking, behold, a crowd, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went on before them, and drew near to Jesus to kiss him.

⁴⁸ And Jesus said to him, Judas, deliverest thou up the Son of man with a kiss?

⁴⁹ And they who were around him, seeing what was going to follow, said to him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

⁵⁰ And a certain one from among them smote the bondman of the high priest and took off his right ear.

⁵¹ And Jesus answering said, Suffer thus far; and having touched his ear, he healed him.

⁵² And Jesus said to the chief priests and captains of the temple and elders, who were come against him, Have ye come out as against a robber with swords and sticks?

⁵³ When I was day by day with you in the temple ye did not stretch out your hands against me; but this is your hour and the power of darkness.

⁴⁸ But Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”

⁴⁹ And those around Him, seeing what was about to happen, they said to Him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

⁵⁰ And a certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.

⁵¹ But Jesus answered and said, “Stop right there.” And touching his ear, He healed him.

⁵² Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the captains of the temple, and the elders who had come to Him, “Have you come out, as against a bandit, with swords and clubs?

⁵³ When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

⁴⁷ But while He was still speaking—wow, a crowd; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them! He approached Jesus to kiss Him (he had given them this sign, “Whomever I kiss, it is he”).

⁴⁸ So Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of the Man with a kiss?”

⁴⁹ When those who were around Him saw what was about to happen, they said to Him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

⁵⁰ And a certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear!

⁵¹ But Jesus reacted by saying, “Allow at least this!” and touching his ear He healed him.

⁵² Then Jesus said to the chief priests, officers of the temple, and elders who had come against Him: “Have you come out with swords and clubs as against a bandit?

⁵³ When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour; even the authority of the darkness!”

⁴⁷ While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared led by Judas, one of the twelve disciples. Judas went up to Jesus to kiss him.

⁴⁸ But Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of man with a kiss?”

⁴⁹ Jesus' followers asked him, “Lord, should we attack them with our swords?”

⁵⁰ And one of them struck the high priest's servant, cutting off his right ear.

⁵¹ “Stop! No more of this!” said Jesus. He touched the man's ear and healed him.

⁵² Then Jesus spoke to the chief priests, and the officers of the Temple guard, and the elders. “Am I some kind of criminal that you had to come with swords and clubs?” he asked.

⁵³ “You didn't arrest me before, even though I was with you in the Temple every day. But this is your moment now, the time when darkness is in power.”

⁴⁷ And while he yet spake, beholde, a companie, and he that was called Iudas one of the twelue, went before them, and came neere vnto Iesus to kisse him.

⁴⁸ And Iesus saide vnto him, Iudas, betrayest thou the Sonne of man with a kisse?

⁴⁹ Now when they which were about him, saw what would follow, they said vnto him, Lord, shall we smite with sworde?

⁵⁰ And one of them smote a seruant of the hie Priest, and strooke off his right eare.

⁵¹ Then Iesus answered, and said, Suffer them thus farre: and he touched his eare, and healed him.

⁵² Then Iesus said vnto the hie Priests, and captaines of the Temple, and the Elders which were come to him, Bee ye come out as vnto a theefe with swordes and staues?

⁵³ When I was dayly with you in the Temple, yee stretched not foorth the handes against mee: but this is your very houre, and the power of darkenesse.

⁴⁹ When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

⁵⁰ A certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

⁵¹ But Yeshua Salvation answered, “Let me at least do this”— and he touched his ear, and healed him.

⁵² Yeshua Salvation said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?

⁵³ When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn’t stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

⁴⁷ Whill he yet spake: beholde ther came a company and he that was called Iudas one of the twelve wet before them and preased nye vnto Iesus to kysse him.

⁴⁸ And Iesus sayd vnto him: Iudas betrayest thou the sonne of man with a kysse?

⁴⁹ When they which were about him sawe what wolde folow they sayde vnto him. Lorde shall we smite with swearde.

⁵⁰ And one of them smote a servaut of the hiest preste of all and smote of his right eare.

⁵¹ And Iesus answered and sayd: Soffre ye thus farre forthe. And he touched his eare and healed him.

⁵² Then Iesus sayde vnto the hye prestes and rulers of the temple and the elders which were come to him. Be ye come out as vnto a thefe with sweardes and staves?

⁵³ When I was dayly with you in the temple ye stretched not forth hondes agaynst me. But this is even youre very houre and the power of darcknes.

⁴⁷ While he was still speaking, behold, a crowd appeared, with Judas, one of the twelve, leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him,

⁴⁸ but Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”

⁴⁹ When those who were around Jesus saw what was happening, they said, “Lord, should we strike with the sword?”

⁵¹ Jesus said, “That is enough!” He touched his ear, and healed him.

⁵² Jesus said to the chief priests, to the captains of the temple, and to elders who came against him, “Do you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?

⁵³ When I was daily with you in the temple, you did not lay your hands on me. But this is your hour, and the authority of darkness.”

⁴⁷ Yet while he spake, lo! a company, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them; and he came nigh to Jesus, to kiss him.

⁴⁸ And Jesus said to him, Judas, betrayest thou man’s Son with a kiss?

⁴⁹ And they that were about him, and saw that that was to come, said to him, Lord, whether we smite (them) with (our) sword(s)? (or Lord, shall we strike them with the swords?)

⁵⁰ And one of them smote the servant of the prince of (the) priests (or And one of them struck the servant of the High Priest), and cut off his right ear.

⁵¹ But Jesus answered, and said, Suffer ye till hither (or Allow this to be). And when he had touched his ear, he healed him.

⁵² And Jesus said to them, that came to him, the princes of (the) priests, and (the) magistrates or the masters of the temple, and (the) elder men, As to a thief ye have gone out with swords and staves? (And Jesus said to those, who came to take hold of him, the high priests, and the magistrates, or the officials, of the Temple, and the elders, You have gone out with swords and bats, or clubs, like after a thief?)

⁵³ When I was each day with you in the temple, ye stretched not out (your) hands into me; but this is your hour, and the power of darknesses.

⁴⁷ Yit while he spak, lo! a company, and he that was clepid Judas, oon of the twelue, wente bifor hem; and he cam to Jhesu, to kisse hym.

⁴⁸ And Jhesus seide to hym, Judas, `with a coss `thou bytrayest `mannys sone.

⁴⁹ And thei that weren aboute hym, and sayn that that was to come, seiden to hym, Lord, whether we smyten with swerd?

⁵⁰ And oon of hem smoot the seruaunt of the prince of preestis, and kittide of his riyt eere.

⁵¹ But Jhesus answerde, and seide, Suffre ye til hidir. And whanne he hadde touchid his eere, he heelide hym.

⁵² And Jhesus seide to hem, that camen to hym, the princis of preestis, and maiestratis of the temple, and eldre men, As to a theef ye han gon out with swerdis and staues?

⁵³ Whanne Y was ech dai with you in the temple, ye streiyten not out hondis in to me; but this is youre our, and the power of derknessis.

⁴⁷ And while he is speaking, lo, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the twelve, was coming before them, and he came nigh to Jesus to kiss him,

⁴⁸ and Jesus said to him, 'Judas, with a kiss the Son of Man dost thou deliver up?'

⁴⁹ And those about him, having seen what was about to be, said to him, 'Sir, shall we smite with a sword?'

⁵⁰ And a certain one of them smote the servant of the chief priest, and took off his right ear,

⁵¹ and Jesus answering said, 'Suffer ye thus far,' and having touched his ear, he healed him.

⁵² And Jesus said to those having come upon him — chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders — 'As upon a robber have ye come forth, with swords and sticks?

⁵³ while daily I was with you in the temple, ye did stretch forth no hands against me; but this is your hour and the power of the darkness.'
