⁵ And Simon answered and said, Master, we toiled all night, and took nothing: but at thy word I will let down the nets.

⁶ And when they had done this, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes; and their nets were breaking;

⁷ and they beckoned unto their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.

⁸ But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

⁹ For he was amazed, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken;

¹⁰ and so were also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

¹¹ And when they had brought their boats to land, they left all, and followed him.

¹² And it came to pass, while he was in one of the cities, behold, a man full of leprosy: and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

¹³ And he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou made clean. And straightway the leprosy departed from him.

¹⁴ And he charged him to tell no man: but go thy way, and show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

¹⁵ But so much the more went abroad the report concerning him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed of their infirmities.

⁵ Simon replied, “Master, we (exc) worked hard all night but we did not catch any fish . But because you (sg) tell me to do it, I will let down the nets.”

⁶ When Peter and the men with him had done that, they caught so many fish that their nets were breaking.

⁷ They motioned to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. So they came and filled both the boats with fish from the net. The result was that the boats were so full that they began to sink.

⁸ Simon and all the men who were with him were amazed at how many fish they had taken. James and John, the two sons of Zebedee, who were Simon's partners, were among those who were amazed. When Simon, whose other name was Peter, saw the fish, feeling ashamed to be in the presence of someone who obviously had God's power, he prostrated himself before Jesus and said, “Lord, you should go away from me, because I am a sinful man!”

¹⁰ But Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid! Up until now you(sg) have been gathering fish MET, but from now on you will gather people to become my disciples.”

¹¹ So after they brought the boats to the shore, they left their business HYP in the hands of others and went with Jesus.

¹² While Jesus was in one of the cities there in the district of Galilee, there was a man there who was very severely affected by leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he prostrated himself before him and, wanting Jesus to heal him, pleaded with him, “Lord/Sir, please heal me, because you are able to heal me if you are willing to!”

¹³ Then Jesus, disregarding the religious law that forbade people to come close to lepers, reached out his hand and touched the man. He said, “I am willing to heal you; and I heal you now!” Immediately the man was healed. He was no longer a leper PRS!

¹⁴ Then Jesus told him, “Make sure that you do not report your healing immediately. First, go to a priest in Jerusalem and show yourself to him so that he can examine you and verify that you no longer have leprosy. After the priest tells the local people, they will know that you have been healed, and you will be able to associate with them again. Also take to the priest the offering that Moses commanded that people who have been healed from leprosy should offer.”

¹⁵ But many people heard the man's report of what Jesus had done. The result was that large crowds came to Jesus to hear his message and to be healed of their sicknesses {so that he would heal their sicknesses}.

⁸ But Simon, when he saw it, went down at the knees of Jesus and said, Go away from me, O Lord, for I am a sinner.

⁹ For he was full of wonder and so were all those who were with him, at the number of fish which they had taken;

¹⁰ And so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were working with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Have no fear; from this time forward you will be a fisher of men.

¹¹ And when they had got their boats to the land, they gave up everything and went after him.

¹² And it came about that while he was in one of the towns, there was a leper there: and when he saw Jesus he went down on his face in prayer to him, saying, Lord, if it is your pleasure, you have power to make me clean.

¹³ And he put out his hand to him and said, It is my pleasure; be clean. And straight away his disease went from him.

¹⁴ And he gave him orders: Say nothing to any man, but let the priest see you and give an offering so that you may be made clean, as the law of Moses says, and for a witness to them.

¹⁵ But news of him went out all the more, in every direction, and great numbers of people came together to give hearing to his words and to be made well from their diseases.

⁵ And Simon answering said to him, Master, having laboured through the whole night we have taken nothing, but at thy word I will let down the net.

⁶ And having done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes. And their net broke.

⁷ And they beckoned to their partners who were in the other ship to come and help them, and they came, and filled both the ships, so that they were sinking.

⁸ But Simon Peter, seeing it, fell at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.

⁹ For astonishment had laid hold on him, and on all those who were with him, at the haul of fishes which they had taken;

¹⁰ and in like manner also on James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not; henceforth thou shalt be catching men.

¹¹ And having run the ships on shore, leaving all they followed him.

¹² And it came to pass as he was in one of the cities, that behold, there was a man full of leprosy, and seeing Jesus, falling upon his face, he besought him saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou art able to cleanse me.

¹³ And stretching forth his hand he touched him, saying, I will; be thou cleansed: and immediately the leprosy departed from him.

¹⁴ And he enjoined him to tell no one; but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing as Moses ordained, for a testimony to them.

¹⁵ But the report concerning him was spread abroad still more, and great crowds came together to hear, and to be healed from their infirmities.

⁵ And Simon answering said to him: Master, we have labored all the night, and have taken nothing: but at thy word I will let down the net.

⁶ And when they had done this, they enclosed a very great multitude of fishes, and their net broke.

⁷ And they beckoned to their partners that were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they were almost sinking.

⁹ For astonishment gripped him and all who were with him at the haul of fish which they had taken.

¹⁰ And likewise also it gripped James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not fear; from now on you shall be catching men.”

¹¹ And having brought the boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.

¹² And it came to pass while He was in a certain city, that behold, there was a man full of leprosy. And when he saw Jesus, falling on his face he begged Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can cleanse me.”

¹³ And reaching out His hand, He touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy departed from him.

¹⁴ And He ordered him to tell no one, “But go and show yourself to the priest, and bring an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses prescribed.”

¹⁵ But the report about Him spread all the more; and great crowds came together to hear, and to be healed by Him from their sicknesses.

⁵ And in answer Simon said to Him, “Master, we have worked hard the whole night and caught nothing, but based on your word I will let down the net.”

⁶ When they had done this, they caught such a large number of fish that their net began to tear.

⁷ So they signaled to their partners who were in the other boat to come help them; they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.

⁸ Upon experiencing this Simon Peter fell at Jesus' knees, saying, “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!”

⁹ Because astonishment gripped him and all who were with him at the haul of fish which they had caught;

¹⁰ yes, this included James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don't be afraid; from now on you will be catching people.”

¹¹ Pulling the boats up on the shore, they left it all and followed Him.

¹² Now it happened, while He was in one of the towns—a man full of leprosy! Upon seeing Jesus he fell on his face and begged Him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can cleanse me!”

¹³ So He extended His hand and touched him, saying, “I want to; be cleansed!” Immediately the leprosy left him.

¹⁴ Then He ordered him to tell no one, “But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing just as Moses prescribed, as a testimony to them.”

¹⁵ However the news about Him spread all the more, and large crowds kept gathering to hear and to be healed by Him of their sicknesses.

⁵ “Lord, we worked hard all night, and didn't catch anything. But if you say so, I'll let down the nets,” Simon replied.

⁶ Having done this, a large shoal of fish filled the nets full to breaking point.

⁷ They waved to their partners in the other boat, asking them to come over and help. The others came over and together they filled both of the boats with fish. The boats were so full that they began to sink.

⁸ When Simon Peter saw what had happened, he dropped to his knees before Jesus. “Lord, please stay away from me, for I am a sinful man!” he exclaimed.

⁹ For he and everybody with him were completely amazed by the catch of fish that they had landed.

¹⁰ James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon's partners, felt the same way. “Don't be afraid,” Jesus told Simon. “From now on you'll be fishing for people!”

¹¹ So they dragged the boats onto the shore, left everything, and followed Jesus.

¹² Once when Jesus was visiting one of the towns, he met a man there who had a very bad case of leprosy. The man fell with his face to the ground and begged Jesus, “Please Lord, if you're willing, you can make me clean.”

¹³ Jesus reached out and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately the leprosy disappeared.

¹⁴ “Say nothing to anyone,” Jesus instructed him. “Go and show yourself to the priest and make the ceremonial offerings as required by the law of Moses as proof that you've been healed.”

¹⁵ Yet the news about Jesus spread more and more. Large crowds came to hear Jesus and to be healed from their diseases.

⁵ Then Simon answered, and sayd vnto him, Master, we haue trauailed sore all night, and haue taken nothing: neuerthelesse at thy worde I will let downe the net.

⁶ And when they had so done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes, so that their net brake.

⁷ And they beckened to their parteners, which were in the other ship, that they shoulde come and helpe them, who came then, and filled both the ships, that they did sinke.

⁸ Now when Simon Peter saw it, he fel down at Iesus knees, saying, Lord, go from me: for I am a sinfull man.

⁹ For he was vtterly astonied, and all that were with him, for the draught of fishes which they tooke.

¹⁰ And so was also Iames and Iohn the sonnes of Zebedeus, which were companions with Simon. Then Iesus sayde vnto Simon, Feare not: from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

¹¹ And when they had brought the ships to land, they forsooke all, and followed him.

¹² Nowe it came to passe, as he was in a certaine citie, beholde, there was a man full of leprosie, and when he sawe Iesus, he fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane.

¹³ So he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will, be thou cleane. And immediately the leprosie departed from him.

¹⁴ And he commanded him that hee should tell it no man: but Go, sayth he, and shew thy selfe to the Priest, and offer for thy clensing, as Moses hath commanded, for a witnes vnto them.

¹⁵ But so much more went there a fame abroad of him, and great multitudes came together to heare, and to be healed of him of their infirmities.

⁵ “We have been hard at work all night, Sir,” answered Simon, “and have not caught anything, but, at your bidding, I will throw out the nets.”

⁹ For he and all who were with him were lost in amazement at the haul of fish which they had made;

¹⁰ and so, too, were James and John, Zebedee's sons, who were Simon's partners. “Do not be afraid,” Jesus said to Simon; “from today you will catch people.”

¹¹ And, when they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything, and followed him.

¹² On one occasion Jesus was staying in a town, when he saw a man who was covered with leprosy. When the leper saw Jesus, he threw himself on his face and implored his help, “Master, if only you are willing, you are able to make me clean.”

¹³ Stretching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying as he did so, “I am willing; become clean.” Instantly the leprosy left the man;

¹⁴ and then Jesus impressed on him that he was not to say a word to anyone, “but,” he added, “set out and show yourself to the priest, and make the offerings for your cleansing, in the manner directed by Moses, as evidence of your cure.”

¹⁵ However, the story about Jesus spread all the more, and great crowds came together to listen to him, and to be cured of their illnesses;

⁵ “We have been hard at work all night, Sir,” answered Simon, “and have not caught anything, but, at your bidding, I will throw out the nets.”

⁸ When Simon Peter saw this, he threw himself down at Jesus' knees, exclaiming, “Master, leave me, for I am a sinful man!”

⁹ For he and all who were with him were lost in amazement at the haul of fish which they had made;

¹⁰ and so, too, were James and John, Zebedee's sons, who were Simon's partners. “Do not be afraid,” Jesus said to Simon; “from today you will catch people.”

¹¹ And, when they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything, and followed him.

¹² On one occasion Jesus was staying in a town, when he saw a man who was covered with leprosy. When the leper saw Jesus, he threw himself on his face and implored his help, “Master, if only you are willing, you are able to make me clean.”

¹³ Stretching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying as he did so, “I am willing; become clean.” Instantly the leprosy left the man;

¹⁴ and then Jesus impressed on him that he was not to say a word to anyone, “but,” he added, “set out and show yourself to the priest, and make the offerings for your cleansing, in the manner directed by Moses, as evidence of your cure.”

¹⁵ However, the story about Jesus spread all the more, and great crowds came together to listen to him, and to be cured of their illnesses;

⁵ Simeon Hearing answered him, “Master, we worked all night, and took nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.”

⁶ When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.

⁷ They beckoned to their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. They came, and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.

⁸ But Simeon Peter Hearing Rock, when he saw it, fell down at Yeshua Salvation's knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.”

¹⁴ He commanded him to tell no one. “Instead, as a testimony to the people, go straight to the priest and make an offer for your cleansing, as Moses Drawn out commanded.”

¹⁵ But the report concerning him spread much more, and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

⁵ And Simon answered and sayde to him: Master we have labored all nyght and have taken nothinge. Neverthelater at thy worde I will loose forthe the net.

⁶ And when they had so done they inclosed a greate multitude of fisshes. And their net brake:

⁷ but they made signes to their felowes which were in the other ship that they shuld come and helpe the And they came: and filled bothe the shippes that they soncke agayne.

⁸ When Simon Peter sawe that he fell doune at Iesus knees sayinge: Lorde goo from me for I am a synfull man.

⁹ For he was vtterly astonyed and all that were with him at the draught of fisshe which they toke:

¹⁰ and so was also Iames and Iohn the sonnes of zebede which were parteners with Simon. And Iesus sayde vnto Simon: feare not from hence forthe thou shalt catche men.

¹¹ And they brought the shippes to londe and forsoke all and folowed him.

¹² And it fortuned as he was in a certayne cite: beholde ther was a man full of leprosy: and when he had spied Iesus he fell on his face and besought him sayinge: Lorde yf thou wilt thou canst make me cleane.

¹³ And he strethed forth the hond and touched him sayinge: I will be thou cleane. And immediatly the leprosy departed from him.

¹⁴ And he warned him that he shuld tell no man: but that he shuld goo and shewe him selfe to the Preste and offer for his clensynge accordinge as Moses commaundement was for a witnes vnto them.

¹⁵ But so moche the moare went ther a fame abroade of him and moche people cam to geder to heare and to be healed of him of their infirmities.

¹² And it was done, when he was in one of the cities, lo! a man full of leprosy; and seeing Jesus fell down on his face, and prayed him, and said, Lord, if thou wilt, thou mayest make me clean.

¹³ And Jesus held forth his hand, and touched him, and said, I will, be thou made clean. And anon the leprosy passed away from him.

¹⁴ And Jesus commanded to him, that he should say to no man; But go, show thee to a priest, and offer for thy cleansing, as Moses bade, into witnessing to them.

¹⁵ And the word walked about the more of him; and much people came together, to hear, and to be healed of their sicknesses.

¹⁰ Soothly in like manner James and John, the sons of Zebedee, that were fellows of Simon Peter. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not thou dread (or Do not fear); now from this time thou shalt take men.

¹¹ And when the boats were led up to the land, they left all things, and they (pur)sued him (or and they followed him).

¹² And it was done, when he was in one of the cities, lo! a man full of leprosy; and seeing Jesus (he) fell down on his face, and prayed him (or and beseeched him), and said, Lord, if thou wilt, thou mayest make me clean.

¹⁴ And Jhesus comaundide to hym, that he schulde seie to no man; But go, schewe thou thee to a preest, and offre for thi clensyng, as Moises bad, in to witnessyng to hem.

¹⁵ And the word walkide aboute the more of hym; and myche puple camen togidere, to here, and to be heelid of her siknessis.

¹² And it came to pass, in his being in one of the cities, that lo, a man full of leprosy, and having seen Jesus, having fallen on his face, he besought him, saying, 'Sir, if thou mayest will, thou art able to cleanse me;'

¹³ and having stretched forth his hand, he touched him, having said, 'I will; be thou cleansed;' and immediately the leprosy went away from him.

¹⁴ And he charged him to tell no one, 'But, having gone away, shew thyself to the priest, and bring near for thy cleansing according as Moses directed, for a testimony to them;'

¹⁵ but the more was the report going abroad concerning him, and great multitudes were coming together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities,
