²⁶ And they that heard it said, Then who can be saved?

²⁷ But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

²⁸ And Peter said, Lo, we have left our own, and followed thee.

²⁹ And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or wife, or brethren, or parents, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,

³⁰ who shall not receive manifold more in this time, and in the world to come eternal life.

³¹ And he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets shall be accomplished unto the Son of man.

³² For he shall be delivered up unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon:

³³ and they shall scourge and kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.

³⁴ And they understood none of these things; and this saying was hid from them, and they perceived not the things that were said.

³⁵ And it came to pass, as he drew nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

³⁶ and hearing a multitude going by, he inquired what this meant.

³⁷ And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

²⁶ The Jews thought that God favored rich people, so they thought that if God did not save rich people, he would not save others, either. So one of the disciples who heard him say that replied, “If that is so, it seems that no one will be saved { that God will not save anyone} RHQ!”

²⁷ But Jesus said, “It is impossible for people to save themselves. But God can save them, because God can do anything!”

²⁸ Then Peter said, “ You know that we(exc) have left everything we had and have become your disciples RHQ. So what about us? (OR, So will God accept/save us?”)

²⁹ He said to them, “Keep this in mind: Those who have left their homes, their wives, their brothers, their parents, their children, or any other family members, to tell others about how God wants to rule MET people's lives,

³⁰ will receive in this life many times as much as they left. And in the future age they will ◄ live eternally with God/ have eternal life►.”

³¹ Jesus took the twelve disciples to a place by themselves and said to them, “Listen carefully! We (inc) are now going up to Jerusalem. While we are there, everything that has been written by the prophets {that the prophets have written} about me, the one who came from heaven, will be fulfilled {will occur}.

³² I will be put into the hands of { My enemies will hand me over to} non-Jews. The non-Jews will make fun of me and mistreat me and spit on me.

³³ They will whip me, and then they will kill me. But on the third day after that I will become alive again.”

³⁴ But the disciples did not understand any of those things that he said. They were prevented { Something prevented them} from understanding the meaning of what he was telling them.

³⁵ As Jesus and his disciples came near to Jericho city, a blind man was sitting beside the road. He was begging for money.

³⁶ When he heard the crowd of people passing by, he asked someone, “What is happening?”

³⁷ They told him, “Jesus, the man from Nazareth town, is passing by.”

³⁸ He shouted, “Jesus, you who are descended from King David, the Messiah, pity me!”

²⁶ Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”

²⁷ But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

²⁸ Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”

²⁹ He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,

³⁰ who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.”

³² For he will be given up to the Gentiles, and will be made sport of and put to shame:

³³ And he will be given cruel blows and put to death, and on the third day he will come back to life.

³⁴ But they did not take in the sense of any of these words, and what he said was not clear to them, and their minds were not able to see it.

³⁵ And it came about that when he got near Jericho, a certain blind man was seated by the side of the road, making requests for money from those who went by.

³⁶ And hearing the sound of a great number of people going by, he said, What is this?

³⁷ And they said to him, Jesus of Nazareth is going by.

³⁸ And he said in a loud voice, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.

²⁶ And those who heard it said, And who can be saved?

²⁷ But he said, The things that are impossible with men are possible with God.

³⁵ And it came to pass when he came into the neighbourhood of Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the wayside begging.

³⁶ And when he heard the crowd passing, he inquired what this might be.

³⁷ And they told him that Jesus the Nazaraean was passing by.

³⁸ And he called out saying, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.

³⁵ Now it came to pass, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat alongside the road begging.

³⁶ And hearing a crowd traveling through the city, he asked what this was.

³⁷ And they reported to him that Jesus the Nazarene was passing by.

³⁸ And he shouted, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

²⁶ So the hearers said, “Who then can be saved?”

²⁷ And He said, “The things that are impossible with men are possible with God.”

²⁸ Then Peter said, “Notice that we have left all and followed you!”

²⁹ So He said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God,

³⁰ who will not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.”

³¹ Then He took the Twelve aside and said to them: “Take note, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of the Man will be fulfilled:

³² He will be betrayed to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon,

³⁶ Hearing a crowd going by, he asked what it was.

³⁷ So they told him that Jesus the Natsorean was passing by.

³⁸ Well he shouted, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

²⁶ Those who heard this wondered, “Who can be saved then?”

²⁷ Jesus replied, “What is impossible in human terms is possible for God.”

²⁸ Peter said, “We left everything to follow you!”

²⁹ “I tell you the truth,” Jesus told them, “anybody who leaves behind their home, wife, brothers, parents, or children for the sake of God's kingdom

³⁰ will receive so much more in this life, and eternal life in the world to come.”

³¹ Jesus took the twelve disciples aside, and told them, “We're going to Jerusalem, and all that the prophets wrote about the Son of man will be fulfilled.

³² He will be handed over to the foreigners he will be mocked, insulted, and spat upon.

³³ They will flog him and kill him, but on the third day he will rise again.”

³⁴ But they didn't understand anything Jesus told them. The meaning was hidden from them and they didn't grasp what he was talking about.

³⁵ As Jesus approached Jericho a blind man was sitting beside the road begging.

³⁶ He heard the crowd going past, so he asked what was happening.

³⁷ They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”

³⁸ He called out, “Jesus, son of David, please have mercy on me!”

²⁶ Then said they that heard it, And who then can be saued?

²⁷ And he said, The things which are vnpossible with men, are possible with God.

³¹ Then Iesus tooke vnto him ye twelue, and said vnto them, Beholde, we goe vp to Hierusalem, and all things shalbe fulfilled to the Sonne of man, that are writttn by the Prophets.

³² For he shall be deliuered vnto the Gentiles, and shalbe mocked, and shalbe spitefully entreated, and shalbe spitted on.

³³ And when they haue scourged him, they will put him to death: but the thirde day hee shall rise againe.

³⁴ But they vnderstood none of these things, and this saying was hidde from them, neither perceiued they the things, which were spoken.

³⁵ And it came to passe, that as he was come neere vnto Iericho, a certaine blinde man sate by the way side, begging.

³⁸ He cried out, “Yeshua Salvation, you son of David Beloved, have mercy on me!”

²⁶ Then sayde they that hearde that: And who shall then be saved?

²⁷ And he sayde: Thinges which are vnpossible with men are possible with God.

²⁸ Then Peter sayde: Loo we have lefte all and have folowed the.

²⁹ And he sayde vnto them: Verely I saye vnto you ther is noo man that leaveth housse other father and mother other brethren or wyfe or chyldren for the kyngdome of Goddes sake

³⁰ which same shall not receave moche moore in this worlde: and in the worlde to come lyfe everlastinge.

³¹ He toke vnto him twelve and sayde vnto them. Beholde we go vp to Ierusalem and all shalbe fulfilled that are written by the Prophetes of the sonne of man.

³² He shalbe delivered vnto the gentils and shalbe mocked and shalbe despytfully entreated and shalbe spetted on:

³³ and when they have scourged him they will put him to deeth and the thyrde daye he shall aryse agayne.

³⁴ But they vnderstode none of these thinges. And this sayinge was hid from them. And they perceaved not the thinges which were spoken.

³¹ After he gathered the twelve to himself, he said to them, “See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that have been written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished.

³² For he will be given over to the Gentiles, and will be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon.

³³ After whipping him, they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise again.”

³⁴ They understood none of these things, and this word was hidden from them, and they did not understand the things that were said.

³⁵ It came about that, as Jesus approached Jericho, a certain blind man was sitting by the road begging,

³⁶ and hearing a crowd going by, he asked what was happening.

³⁷ They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.

³⁸ So the blind man cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.”

²⁶ Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”

²⁷ But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

³⁰ who may not receive back manifold more in this time, and in the coming age, life age-during.'

³¹ And having taken the twelve aside, he said unto them, 'Lo, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things shall be completed — that have been written through the prophets — to the Son of Man,

³² for he shall be delivered up to the nations, and shall be mocked, and insulted, and spit upon,

³³ and having scourged they shall put him to death, and on the third day he shall rise again.'

³⁴ And they none of these things understood, and this saying was hid from them, and they were not knowing the things said.
