¹⁴ I say unto you, This man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled; but he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

But God didn’t say that for the Pharisee, the man that reckoned he was real good. He didn’t go home feeling good. You see, if you reckon you are important, God will make you not important. But if you reckon you are not important, God will make you important.”

¹⁴ I tell you: this man departed home to his housse iustified moore then the other. For every man that exalteth him selfe shalbe brought low: And he that hubleth him selfe shalbe exalted
