Leviticus 24:11-14 in English

¹¹ and the son of the Israelitish woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him unto Moses. And his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹² And they put him in ward, that it might be declared unto them at the mouth of Jehovah.

¹³ And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹¹ And the son of the Israelitish woman named THE NAME and cursed; and they brought him to Moses: and his mother's name was Salomith, daughter of Dabri of the tribe of Dan.

¹² And they put him in ward, to judge him by the command of the Lord.

¹³ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring forth him that cursed outside the camp, and all who heard shall lay their hands upon his head, and all the congregation shall stone him.

¹¹ And the Israelitish woman’s son blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)

¹² And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.

¹³ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹¹ And the Israelitish woman’s son blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)

¹² And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.

¹³ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

¹² So the Israeli people seized him and guarded him until they could find out what Yahweh would reveal to them that they should do to that man.

¹³ Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,

¹⁴ “ Tie up and take outside the camp the man who has cursed me. There all those who heard what he said must put their hands on his head to indicate that he is guilty, and then all the people must kill him by throwing stones at him.

¹¹ And the son of the Israelitish woman named THE NAME and curse; and they brought him to Moses: and his mother's name was Salomith, daughter of Dabri of the tribe of Dan.

¹² And they put him in ward, to judge him by the command of the Lord.

¹³ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹¹ And the son of the Israelite woman said evil against the holy Name, with curses; and they took him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹² And they kept him shut up, till a decision might be given by the mouth of the Lord.

¹³ And the Lord said to Moses,

¹⁴ Take the curser outside the tent-circle; and let all in whose hearing the words were said put their hands on his head, and let him be stoned by all the people.

¹¹ and the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹² And they confined him, that they might decide at the mouth of Jehovah.

¹³ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Lead the reviler outside the camp; and all that heard him shall lay their hands upon his head, and the whole assembly shall stone him.

¹¹ And when he had blasphemed the name, and had cursed it, he was brought to Moses: (now his mother was called Salumith, the daughter of Dabri, of the tribe of Dan:)

¹² And they put him into prison, till they might know what the Lord would command.

¹³ And the Lord spoke to Moses,

¹⁴ Saying: Bring forth the blasphemer without the camp, and let them that heard him, put their hands upon his head, and let all the people stone him.

¹¹ The Israelite woman's son cursed the name of the Lord. So they took him before Moses. (His mother's name was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, from the tribe of Dan.)

¹² They detained him until it was clear what the Lord wanted them to do about it.

¹³ The Lord told Moses,

¹⁴ “Take the man who cursed me outside the camp. Have all who heard him curse put their hands on his head; then have everyone stone him to death.

¹¹ So the Israelitish womans sonne blasphemed the name of the Lord, and cursed, and they brought him vnto Moses (his mothers name also was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan)

¹² And they put him in warde, till he tolde them the minde of the Lord.

¹³ Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring the blasphemer without the hoste, and let all that heard him, put their handes vpon his head, and let all the Congregation stone him.

¹¹ And the son of the Israelitish woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him unto Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹² And they put him in ward, that it might be declared unto them at the mouth of the LORD.

¹³ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

¹⁴ 'Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹¹ And the son of the Israelitish woman pronounced the holy Name, and blasphemed; and they brought him unto Moses: and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;

¹² And they placed him in ward, until the decision of the Lord could be explained to them.

¹³ And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Lead forth the blasphemer to without the camp; and all that have heard him shall lay their hands upon his head; and all the congregation shall stone him.

¹¹ And the son of the Israelitish woman named THE NAME and cursed; and they brought him to Moses: and his mother’s name was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan.

¹² And they put him in ward, to judge him by the command of the Lord.

¹³ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring forth him that cursed outside the camp, and all who heard shall lay their hands upon his head, and all the congregation shall stone him.

¹¹ And the son of the woman the daughter of Israel gave expression to the Name, and execrated. And they brought him unto Mosheh. And the name of his mother was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibree, of the tribe of Dan.

¹² And they bound him in the house of confinement, until it should be explained to them by the decree of the Word of the Lord.

¹³ And the Lord spake with Mosheh, saying:

¹⁴ Bring forth him who hath imprecated without the camp, and let all who heard lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹¹ The son of the Israelite Descendant of God prevails woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses Drawn out. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan He judged.

¹² They put him in custody, until Adonai ’s will should be declared to them.

¹³ Adonai spoke to Moses Drawn out, saying,

¹⁴ “Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who sh'ma ·heard obeyed· him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹¹ The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the name of Yahweh and cursed God, so the people brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, from the tribe of Dan.

¹² They held him in custody until Yahweh himself should declare his will to them.

¹³ Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ “Take the man who has cursed God outside the camp. All who heard him must lay their hands on his head, and then the entire assembly must stone him.

¹¹ The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹² They put him in custody until Yahweh’s will should be declared to them.

¹³ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ “Bring him who cursed out of the camp; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹¹ and when he had blasphemed the name of the Lord, and had cursed the Lord, he was brought to Moses; soothly his mother was called Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the lineage of Dan;

¹² and they sent him into prison, till they knew what the Lord commanded.

¹³ And the Lord spake to Moses, and said,

¹⁴ Lead out the blasphemer without the tents, and all men that heard him, set or put they their hands upon his head, and all the people stone him.

¹¹ and when he had blasphemed the name of the Lord, and had cursed the Lord, he was brought to Moses; soothly his mother was called Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the lineage of Dan (or of the tribe of Dan);

¹² and they sent him into prison, till they knew what the Lord commanded.

¹³ And the Lord spake to Moses, and said,

¹⁴ Lead out the blasphemer without the tents, and all men that heard him, set they their hands upon his head, and all the people stone him. (Lead out the blasphemer away from the tents, and all those who heard him, put they their hands upon his head, and let all the people stone him.)

¹¹ and whanne he hadde blasfemyd the name of the Lord, and hadde cursid the Lord, he was brouyt to Moises; forsothe his modir was clepid Salumyth, the douytir of Dabry, of the lynage of Dan;

¹² and thei senten hym to prisoun, til thei wisten what the Lord comaundide.

¹³ And the Lord spak to Moises and seide,

¹⁴ Lede out the blasfemere without the castels, and alle men that herden, sette her hondis on his heed, and al the puple stone hym.

¹¹ and the son of the Israelitish woman execrateth the Name, and revileth; and they bring him in unto Moses; and his mother's name is Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;

¹² and he causeth him to rest in charge — to explain to them by the mouth of Jehovah.

¹³ And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹⁴ 'Bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the company have stoned him.
