¹⁷ Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed throughout their generations that hath a blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

¹⁸ For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or anything superfluous,

¹⁹ or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,

²⁰ or crook-backed, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or is scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

²¹ no man of the seed of Aaron the priest, that hath a blemish, shall come nigh to offer the offerings of Jehovah made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

²² He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy:

²³ only he shall not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.

²⁴ So Moses spake unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.

²¹ Whoever of the seed of Aaron the priest has a blemish on him, shall not draw nigh to offer sacrifices to thy God, because he has a blemish on him; he shall not draw nigh to offer the gifts of God.

²² The gifts of God are most holy, and he shall eat of the holy things.

²³ Only he shall not approach the veil, and he shall not draw nigh to the altar, because he has a blemish; and he shall not profane the sanctuary of his God, for I am the Lord that sanctifies them.

¹⁷ “Say this to Aaron: For all future time, none of your descendants who has any defects on his body will be allowed to come near the altar to offer sacrifices to me which will be like MET my food:

¹⁸ No one who is blind or lame or deformed, or whose face is disfigured,

¹⁹ no man with a crippled foot or a crippled hand,

²⁰ no man who is a hunchback or a dwarf, no man whose eyes are defective, no man who has a skin disease DOU or whose testicles have been damaged is allowed to brings sacrifices.

²¹ No descendant of Aaron, the first Supreme Priest, who has any defect is allowed to come to the altar to offer to me, his God, sacrifices that will be burned.

²² Priests who have defects are permitted to eat the various kinds of holy food offered to me.

²³ But because of their defects, they must not go near the curtain in the Sacred Tent or near the altar, because if they did that, they would desecrate my Sacred Tent. I am Yahweh, the one who sets those places apart as being holy.”

²⁴ So Moses/I told this to Aaron and to his sons and to all the Israeli people.

¹⁷ Say to Aaron, If a man of your family, in any generation, is damaged in body, let him not come near to make the offering of the bread of his God.

¹⁸ For any man whose body is damaged may not come near: one who is blind, or has not the use of his legs, or one who has a broken nose or any unnatural growth,

¹⁹ Or a man with broken feet or hands,

²⁰ Or one whose back is bent, or one who is unnaturally small, or one who has a damaged eye, or whose skin is diseased, or whose sex parts are damaged;

²¹ No man of the offspring of Aaron whose body is damaged in any way may come near to give the fire offerings of the Lord: he is damaged, he may not come near to make the offerings.

²² He may take of the bread of God, the holy and the most holy;

²³ But he may not go inside the veil or come near the altar, because he is damaged; and he may not make my holy places common; for I the Lord have made them holy.

²⁴ These are the words which Moses said to Aaron and to his sons and to all the children of Israel.

²¹ No man of the seed of Aaron the priest that hath defect shall come near to present Jehovah's offerings by fire: he hath a defect; he shall not come near to present the bread of his God.

²² The bread of his God, of the most holy and of the holy, shall he eat;

²³ only he shall not come in unto the veil, nor shall he draw near unto the altar; for he hath a defect: that he profane not my sanctuaries; for I am Jehovah who do hallow them.

²⁴ And Moses told it to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.

¹⁷ Say to Aaron: Whosoever of thy seed throughout their families, hath a blemish, he shall not offer bread to his God.

¹⁸ Neither shall he approach to minister to him: If he be blind, if he be lame, if he have a little, or a great, or a crooked nose,

¹⁹ If his foot, or if his hand be broken,

²⁰ If he be crookbacked, or blear eyed, or have a pearl in his eye, or a continual scab, or a dry scurf in his body, or a rupture:

²¹ Whosoever of the seed of Aaron the priest hath a blemish, he shall not approach to offer sacrifices to the Lord, nor bread to his God.

²² He shall eat nevertheless of the loaves, that are offered in the sanctuary,

²³ Yet so that he enter not within the veil, nor approach to the altar, because he hath a blemish, and he must not defile my sanctuary. I am the Lord who sanctify them.

²⁴ Moses therefore spoke to Aaron, and to his sons and to all Israel, all the things that had been commanded him.

¹⁷ “Tell Aaron: These rules apply for all future generations. If any of your descendants has a physical defect, he is not allowed to come and present the food offerings of his God.

¹⁸ No man is allowed to do this if he has any defects, including anyone who is blind, crippled, facially disfigured, or has deformities,

¹⁹ anyone who has a broken foot or arm,

²⁰ anyone who is a hunchback or dwarf, or who has cataracts, skin sores or scabs, or a damaged testicle.

²¹ No descendant of Aaron the priest who has a defect is allowed to come and present the food offerings to the Lord. Because he has a defect, he must not come and offer the food of his God.

²² He is still allowed to eat the food from the Most Holy Place of his God and also from the sanctuary,

²³ but because he has a defect, he is not allowed to go near the curtain or the altar, so that my sanctuary and everything in it are not made unclean, because I am the Lord who makes them holy.”

²⁴ Moses repeated this to Aaron and his sons, and to all the Israelites.

¹⁷ Speake vnto Aaron, and say, Whosoeuer of thy seede in their generations hath any blemishes, shall not prease to offer the bread of his God:

¹⁸ For whosoeuer hath any blemish, shall not come neere: as a man blinde or lame, or that hath a flat nose, or that hath any misshapen member,

¹⁹ Or a man that hath a broken foote, or a broken hande,

²⁰ Or is crooke backt, or bleare eyed, or hath a blemish in his eye, or be skiruie, or skabbed, or haue his stones broken.

²¹ None of the seede of Aaron the Priest that hath a blemish, shall come neere to offer the sacrifices of the Lord made by fire, hauing a blemish: he shall not prease to offer the bread of his God.

²² The bread of his God, euen of the most holie, and of the holy shall he eate:

²³ But he shall not goe in vnto the vaile, nor come neere the altar, because hee hath a blemish, least he pollute my Sanctuaries: for I am the Lord that sanctifie them.

²⁴ Thus spake Moses vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes, and to all the children of Israel.

²² He may eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

²³ Only he shall not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not My holy places; for I am the LORD who sanctify them.

²⁰ Or a crookbacked, or a dwarf, or one that hath a blemish in his eye, or the itch, or the scurvy, or the testicles broken.

²¹ Every man on whom there is a blemish, of the seed of Aaron the priest, shall not come nigh to offer the fire-offerings of the Lord: there is a blemish on him; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

²² The brewed of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy things he may eat.

²³ Only unto the vail, and unto the altar shall he not come nigh, because there is a blemish on him; that he profane not my holy things; for I the Lord do sanctify them.

²⁴ And Moses spoke thus unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.

¹⁸ For no man in whom is a blemish may come nigh; a blind man, or lame, or flat nosed, or disproportioned;

¹⁹ Or a man who hath a broken foot, or a broken hand,

²⁰ or who is crookbacked, or dwarfish, or who hath a white spot in his eye, or the scurvy, or ringworm, or who hath ruptured testicles.

²¹ No man of the offspring of Aharon the priest who hath a blemish may approach to offer the oblations of the Lord; having a blemish in him he shall not draw near to present the oblation of his God:

²² Yet of the sanctified oblations of his God, even of the most holy, he may eat:

²³ Only he shall not enter within the veil, nor approach the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not My sanctuary; for I am the Lord who sanctify them.

²⁴ And Mosheh spake with Aharon, and with his sons, and with all the sons of Israel.

¹⁷ “Say to Aaron Light-bringer, ‘None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect may approach to offer the bread of his God.

¹⁸ For whatever man he is that has a defect, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity,

¹⁹ or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand,

²⁰ or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles.

²¹ No man of the offspring of Aaron Light-bringer the priest who has a defect shall come near to offer the offerings of Adonai made by fire. Since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

²² He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

²³ He shall not come near to the veil, nor come near to the altar, because he has a defect; that he may not profane my sanctuaries, for I am Yahweh M'Kaddesham Yahweh our Santifier / He sustains breathing who makes them holy.’”

²⁴ So Moses Drawn out spoke to Aaron Light-bringer, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel God prevails.

¹⁷ “Speak to Aaron and tell him, 'Whoever of your descendants throughout their generations has a bodily defect, he must not approach to offer the food to his God.

¹⁸ Any man who has a bodily defect must not approach Yahweh, such as a blind man or a man who is unable to walk, one who is disfigured or deformed,

¹⁹ a man with a crippled hand or foot,

²⁰ a man who has a hump in his back or is abnormally thin or short, or a man with a defect in his eyes, or with a disease, sore, scabs, or whose testicles have been crushed.

²¹ No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest with a bodily defect may come near to perform the offerings made by fire for Yahweh. Such a man has a bodily defect; he must not come near to offer the bread of his God.

²² He may eat the food of his God, whether some of the most holy or some of the holy.

²³ However, he must not enter inside the curtain or come near the altar, because he has a bodily defect, so that he does not defile my holy place, for I am Yahweh, who makes them holy.'”

²⁴ So Moses spoke these words to Aaron, to his sons, and to all the people of Israel.

²³ Only he shall not go in to the vail, nor come nigh to the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he may not profane my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

²⁴ And Moses told it to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.

¹⁷ “Say to Aaron, ‘None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect may approach to offer the bread of his God.

¹⁸ For whatever man he is that has a defect, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity,

¹⁹ or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand,

²⁰ or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles.

²¹ No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a defect shall come near to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire. Since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

²² He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

²³ He shall not come near to the veil, nor come near to the altar, because he has a defect; that he may not profane my sanctuaries, for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.’”

²⁴ So Moses spoke to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.

¹⁷ Speak thou to Aaron; a man of thy seed, by meines, that hath a wem, that is, a notable foulness, shall not offer bread to his God,

¹⁸ neither shall nigh to his service; if he is blind; if he is crooked; if he is either of little, either of great, or wrong nose;

¹⁹ if he is of broken foot, either hand;

²⁰ if he hath a botch, or a bulge, on his back; either if he is bleary-eyed; if he hath white colour, or a pearl, in his eye, that hindereth his sight; if he hath continual scab; if he hath a dry scab in his body; either if he be bruised in privy members.

²¹ Each man of the seed of Aaron the priest, that hath a wem, shall not nigh to offer sacrifices to the Lord, neither to offer loaves to his God;

²² nevertheless he shall eat the loaves that be offered in the saintuary,

²³ so only that he enter not within the veil; he shall not nigh to the altar, for he hath a wem, and he shall not defoul my saintuary; I am the Lord, that hallow them.

²⁴ Therefore Moses spake to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all Israel, all things that were commanded to him.

¹⁷ Speak thou to Aaron; a man of thy seed, by families, that hath a wem, that is, a notable foulness, shall not offer bread to his God, (Say thou to Aaron, A man of thy seed, among thy families, who hath a blemish, that is, a notable foulness, shall not offer the bread, or the loaves, to his God,)

¹⁸ neither shall nigh to his service; (nor), if he is blind; if he is crooked; if he is either of little, either of great, or wrong nose; (nor shall he come to do his service; nor, as well, if he is blind, or lame; or too small, or too big;)

¹⁹ if he is of broken foot, either hand; (if he hath a crippled, or deformed, hand or foot;)

²⁰ if he hath a botch, or a bulge, on his back; either if he is bleary-eyed; if he hath white colour, or a pearl, in his eye, that hindereth his sight; if he hath (a) continual scab; if he hath a dry scab in his body (or if he hath a dry scab on his body); either if he be bruised in (the) privy members.

²¹ Each man of the seed of Aaron the priest, that hath a wem (or who hath any blemish, or any fault), shall not nigh to offer sacrifices to the Lord, neither to offer loaves to his God;

²² nevertheless he shall (still) eat the loaves that be offered in the saintuary,

²³ so only that he enter not within the veil; he shall not nigh to the altar, for he hath a wem, and he shall not defoul my saintuary; I am the Lord, that hallow them. (so only that he not come within the Veil; he shall not approach the altar, for he hath a blemish, or a fault, and he shall not defile my sanctuary; I am the Lord who maketh them holy.)

²⁴ Therefore Moses spake to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all Israel, all things that were commanded to him. (And so Moses spoke to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the Israelites, all that was commanded to him.)

¹⁷ and seide, Speke thou to Aaron; a man of thi seed, bi meynes, that hath a wem, schal not offre breed to his God,

¹⁸ nethir schal neiy to his seruyce;

¹⁹ if he is blind; if he is crokid; if he is ether of litil, ether of greet, and wrong nose; if he is `of brokun foot, ethir hond;

²⁰ if he hath a botche; ether if he is blereiyed; if he hath whijt colour in the iye, that lettith the siyt; if he hath contynuel scabbe; if he hath a drye scabbe in the bodi; ethir `is brokun `in the pryuy membris.

²¹ Ech man of the seed of Aaron preest, which man hath a wem, schal not neiye to offre sacrifices to the Lord, nether `to offre looues to his God;

²² netheles he schal ete the looues that ben offrid in the seyntuarie,

²³ so oneli that he entre not with ynne the veil; he schal not neiye to the auter, for he hath a wem, and he schal not defoule my seyntuarie; Y am the Lord that halewe hem.

²⁴ Therfor Moises spak to Aaron, and to hise sones, and to al Israel, alle thingis that weren comaundid to hym.

¹⁷ 'Speak unto Aaron, saying, No man of thy seed to their generations in whom there is blemish doth draw near to bring near the bread of his God,

¹⁸ for no man in whom is blemish doth draw near — a man blind, or lame or dwarfed, or enlarged,

¹⁹ or a man in whom there is a breach in the foot, or a breach in the hand,

²⁰ or hump-backed, or a dwarf, or with a mixture in his eye, or a scurvy person, or scabbed, or broken-testicled.

²¹ 'No man in whom is blemish (of the seed of Aaron the priest) doth come nigh to bring near the fire-offerings of Jehovah; blemish is in him; the bread of his God he doth not come nigh to bring near.

²² 'Bread of his God — of the most holy things, and of the holy things — he doth eat;

²³ only, unto the vail he doth not enter, and unto the altar he doth not draw nigh; for blemish is in him; and he doth not pollute My sanctuaries; for I am Jehovah, sanctifying them.'

²⁴ And Moses speaketh unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the sons of Israel.
