¹⁶ Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, then he shall come unto the priest;

¹⁷ and the priest shall look on him; and, behold, if the plague be turned into white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.

¹⁸ And when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a boil, and it is healed,

¹⁹ and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be showed to the priest;

²⁰ and the priest shall look; and, behold, if the appearance thereof be lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy, it hath broken out in the boil.

¹⁶ But if the person's flesh changes and becomes white, he must go to the priest again.

¹⁷ The priest must examine him again; and if the sores have become white, the priest will declare that the person who had been infected is now permitted to be with other people again.

¹⁸ When someone has a boil on his skin and it has healed,

¹⁹ but in the place where the boil was a white swelling or a bright/shiny spot appears, he must go to the priest.

²⁰ The priest must examine it. And if it seems to be deeper than just on the skin, and if the hair in that spot has become white, it is a contagious skin disease that has appeared where the boil had been. And the priest will declare that the person must stay away from other people.

²¹ But when the priest examines it, if there is no white hair in that spot and it is only on the surface of the skin and has become less bright/shiny, then the priest will order him to stay away from other people for seven days.

¹⁸ And if a bad place has come out on the skin and is well again,

¹⁹ And on the same place there is a white growth of a bright mark, red and white, then let the priest see it;

²⁰ And after looking at it, if it seems to go deeper than the skin, and the hair on it is turned white, then the priest will say that the man is unclean: it is the leper's disease, it has come out in the bad place.

²¹ But if, after looking at it, he sees that there are no white hairs on it, and it is not deeper than the skin, and it is not very bright, then let the priest keep him shut up for seven days:

¹⁶ But if the raw flesh change again, and be turned white, he shall come unto the priest;

¹⁷ and the priest shall look on him, and behold, the sore is turned white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the sore: he is clean.

¹⁸ And the flesh — when in the skin thereof cometh a boil, and it is healed,

¹⁹ and there is in the place of the boil a white rising, or a white-reddish bright spot, it shall be shewn to the priest;

²⁰ and the priest shall look on it, and behold, it looketh deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof is turned white; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the sore of leprosy broken out in the boil.

²¹ But if the priest look on it, and behold, there are no white hairs therein, and it is not deeper than the skin, and is pale, the priest shall shut him up seven days;

¹⁶ And if again it be turned into whiteness, and cover all the man,

¹⁷ The priest shall view him, and shall judge him to be clean.

¹⁸ When also there has been an ulcer in the flesh and the skin, and it has been healed,

¹⁹ And in the place of the ulcer, there appeareth a white scar, or somewhat red, the man shall be brought to the priest:

²⁰ And when he shall see the place of the leprosy lower than the other flesh, and the hair turned white, he shall declare him unclean, for the plague of leprosy is broken out in the ulcer.

²¹ But if the hair be of the former colour, and the scar somewhat obscure, and be not lower than the flesh that is near it, he shall shut him up seven days.

¹⁶ But if the open wound heals and becomes white, the person must go back to the priest.

¹⁷ The priest will inspect them again, and if the wound has turned white, the priest is to declare the person clean; then they are clean.

¹⁸ When a boil comes up on someone's skin and then it heals,

¹⁹ and a white swelling or a reddish-white spot appears in its place, they must show themselves to the priest.

²⁰ The priest shall inspect it, and if it seems to be more than something on the surface, and if the hair there has turned white, the priest shall declare him unclean. It is a serious skin disease that has infected the boil.

²¹ However, if when the priest inspects it, it doesn't have white hair in it and doesn't seem to be more than superficial, and has faded, the priest is to place the person in isolation for seven days.

¹⁶ Or if the rawe flesh change and be turned into white, then he shall come to the Priest,

¹⁷ And the Priest shall beholde him and if the sore be changed into white, then the Priest shall pronounce the plague cleane, for it is cleane.

¹⁸ The flesh also in whose skin there is a bile and is healed,

¹⁹ And in ye place of the bile there be a white swelling, or a white spot somewhat reddish, it shall be seene of the Priest.

²⁰ And when the Priest seeth it, if it appeare lower then the skinne, and the heare thereof bee changed into white, ye Priest then shall pronounce him vncleane: for it is a plague of leprosie, broken out in the bile.

²¹ But if the Priest looke on it, and there be no white heares therein, and if it bee not lower then the skin, but be darker, then the Priest shall shut him vp seuen dayes.

²⁰ And if the priest see, and, behold, its appearance be lower than the skin, and the hair thereof have been turned white: then shall the priest pronounce him unclean, it is the plague of leprosy broken out in the inflammation.

²¹ But if the priest see it, and, behold, there be no white hair therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, and it be pale: then shall the priest shut him up seven days.

¹⁹ but in the place of the ulcer there come a white abscess, or a bright spot, reddish-white, let him show it to the priest,

²⁰ And the priest shall inspect, and, behold, if the appearance of it be deeper than the skin, and the hair be turned white, the priest shall make him to be unclean; it is the plague of leprosy increasing in the ulcer.

²¹ But if the priest look on it, and, behold, the hair is not white, nor (the depth) lower than the skin, and it hath become obscure, the priest shall seclude him seven days;

¹⁶ Or if the raw flesh turns again, and is changed to white, then he shall come to the priest;

¹⁷ and the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the plague has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean of the plague. He is clean. (LY:3)

²¹ But if the priest examines it and sees that there is no white hair in it, and that it is not under the skin but has faded, then the priest must isolate him for seven days.

²⁰ and when the priest seeth the place of the leprosy lower than the other flesh, and the hairs turned into whiteness, the priest shall defoul him, that is, deem him foul; for the wound or the plague of leprosy is bred or sprung in the botch.

²¹ That if the hair is of the former colour, and the sign of the wound is some-deal dark, and is not lower than the flesh beside, the priest shall enclose the man seven days;

¹⁶ That if the (raw) flesh is turned again into whiteness, and covereth all the man, (But when the raw flesh healeth, and turneth white, the man shall go to the priest,)

¹⁷ the priest shall behold him, and shall deem that he is clean. (and the priest shall examine him, and shall pronounce that he is clean.)

¹⁸ The flesh and the skin, in which a botch is bred, and is healed, (The flesh and the skin, in which a boil, or a sore, is bred, and then is healed,)

¹⁹ and the place of the botch, or a fell sore, (or the sore), appeareth white, either red, the man shall be brought to the priest;

²⁰ and when the priest seeth the place of the leprosy (to be) lower than the other flesh, and the hairs turned into whiteness, the priest shall defoul him, that is, (shall) deem him (to be) foul, (or the priest shall pronounce him to be defiled, or unclean); for the wound of leprosy is bred in the botch or for a plague of leprosy is sprung in the botch.

²¹ That if the hair is of the former colour, and the sign of the wound is some-deal dark, and is not lower than the flesh beside, the priest shall close the man seven days; (But if the hair is of the former colour, and the mark of the plague is somewhat dark, and is not lower than the flesh beside it, the priest shall enclose the man for seven days;)

¹⁶ That if the fleisch is turned eft in to whijtnesse, and hilith al the man,

¹⁷ the preest schal biholde hym, and schal deme, that he is cleene.

¹⁸ Fleisch and skyn, in which a botche is bred,

¹⁹ and is heelid, and `a step of wounde apperith whijt, ethir `sum deel reed, `in the place of the botche, the man schal be brouyt to the preest;

²⁰ and whanne the preest seeth the place of lepre lowere than the tother fleisch, and the heeris turned in to whijtnesse, the preest schal defoule hym ; for the wounde of lepre is bred in the botche.

²¹ That if the heer is of the former colour, and the signe of wounde is sumdeel derk, and is not lowere than the `nyy fleisch, the preest schal close the man seuene daies;

¹⁶ Or when the raw flesh turneth back, and hath been turned to white, then he hath come in unto the priest,

¹⁷ and the priest hath seen him, and lo, the plague hath been turned to white, and the priest hath pronounced clean him who hath the plague; he is clean.

¹⁸ 'And when flesh hath in it, in its skin, an ulcer, and it hath been healed,

¹⁹ and there hath been in the place of the ulcer a white rising, or a bright white spot, very red, then it hath been seen by the priest,

²⁰ and the priest hath seen, and lo, its appearance is lower than the skin, and its hair hath turned white, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it is a plague of leprosy — in an ulcer it hath broken out.
