Leviticus 9:5-23 in English

⁵ And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before Jehovah.

⁶ And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah commanded that ye should do: and the glory of Jehovah shall appear unto you.

⁷ And Moses said unto Aaron, Draw near unto the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and offer the oblation of the people, and make atonement for them; as Jehovah commanded.

⁸ So Aaron drew near unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself.

⁹ And the sons of Aaron presented the blood unto him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar:

¹⁰ but the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul from the liver of the sin-offering, he burnt upon the altar; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹¹ And the flesh and the skin he burnt with fire without the camp.

¹² And he slew the burnt-offering; and Aaron’s sons delivered unto him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about.

¹³ And they delivered the burnt-offering unto him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

¹⁴ And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt-offering on the altar.

¹⁵ And he presented the people’s oblation, and took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

¹⁶ And he presented the burnt-offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

¹⁷ And he presented the meal-offering, and filled his hand therefrom, and burnt it upon the altar, besides the burnt-offering of the morning.

¹⁸ He slew also the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons delivered unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,

¹⁹ and the fat of the ox and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul of the liver:

²⁰ and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

²¹ and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave-offering before Jehovah; as Moses commanded.

²² And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

²³ And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of Jehovah appeared unto all the people.

¹² And he slew the whole-burnt-offering; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it on the altar round about.

¹³ And they brought the whole-burnt-offering, according to its pieces; them and the head he put upon the altar.

¹⁴ And he washed the belly and the feet with water, and he put them on the whole-burnt-offering on the altar.

¹⁵ And he brought the gift of the people, and took the goat of the sin-offering of the people, and slew it, and purified it as also the first.

¹⁶ And he brought the whole-burnt-offering, and offered it in due form.

¹⁷ And he brought the sacrifice and filled his hands with it, and laid it on the altar, besides the morning whole-burnt-offering.

¹⁸ And he slew the calf, and the ram of the sacrifice of peace-offering of the people; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it out on the altar round about.

¹⁹ And he took the fat of the calf, and the hind quarters of the ram, and the fat covering the belly, and the two kidneys, and the fat upon them, and the caul on the liver.

²⁰ And he put the fat on the breasts, and offered the fat on the altar.

²¹ And Aaron separated the breast and the right shoulder as a choice-offering before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.

²² And Aaron lifted up his hands on the people and blessed them; and after he had offered the sin-offering, and the whole-burnt-offerings, and the peace-offerings, he came down.

²³ And Moses and Aaron entered into the tabernacle of witness. And they came out and blessed all the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

⁵ After Moses/I told this to the Israeli people, some of them took the things that Moses/I had commanded them to take, and went to the courtyard in front of the Sacred Tent. Then all the people came near and stood in front of Yahweh.

⁶ Then Moses/I said, “This is what Yahweh has commanded you to do, in order that his glory will appear to you.”

⁷ Then Moses/I said to Aaron, “Come to the altar and sacrifice the animal that is your offering to enable you to be forgiven for the sins you have committed, and the animal that will be completely burned there. Because of those offerings, God will forgive you and the people for the sins that you have committed DOU. Do those things that Yahweh has commanded.”

⁸ So Aaron came close to the altar and slaughtered the calf to be an offering for his sins.

⁹ His sons brought its blood to him in a bowl. He dipped his finger into the blood and put some of it on the projections at the corners of the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.

¹⁰ He/I burned the fat, including that which covered the kidneys and the liver, as Yahweh had commanded him/me.

¹¹ Then Aaron burned the rest of the meat and the hide/skin outside the camp.

¹² Then Aaron slaughtered the animal that would be completely burned on the altar. His sons handed him the bowl containing its blood, and he sprinkled the blood on all sides of the altar.

¹³ Then they handed him the head and the pieces of the animal that would be burned, and he burned them on the altar.

¹⁴ He washed the inner parts and the legs of the animal, and burned them on the altar, on top of the other pieces of the animal.

¹⁵ Then Aaron brought the animals that would be sacrifices for the Israeli people. He took the goat and slaughtered it to be an offering to enable them to be forgiven for the sins they had committed, like he had done with the goat for his own offering.

¹⁶ Then he brought the animal for the offering to be completely burned. He slaughtered it and offered it in the way that Yahweh had commanded him to do.

¹⁷ He also brought the offering of grain. He took a handful of it and burned it on the altar, like he had done for the animal that he had slaughtered and completely burned on the altar in the morning.

¹⁸ Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram, to be an offering for the Israeli people to maintain fellowship with Yahweh. His sons handed him the bowl containing the blood, and he sprinkled the blood against all sides of the altar.

¹⁹ But he took the fat from the ox and the ram, including their fat tails that were cut close to the backbone, and all the fat that covered the livers and the kidneys.

²⁰ He put them on top of the breasts of those animals and carried them to the altar to be burned.

²¹ Then, doing what Moses/I had commanded, he lifted up in front of Yahweh the breast and the right thigh of those animals, to signify that those two animals completely belonged to Yahweh.

²² Then Aaron lifted his arms toward the people and asked Yahweh to bless them. Then having finished making all those offerings, he stepped down from the place where the altar was.

²³ Then Aaron and Moses/I entered the Sacred Tent. When they/we later came out, they/we asked Yahweh to bless the people. And suddenly the glory/brightness of Yahweh appeared to all the people.

⁵ And they took as Moses commanded them before the tabernacle of witness, and all the congregation drew near, and they stood before the Lord.

¹⁸ He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people. Aaron’s sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar;

¹⁹ and the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the innards, and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver;

²⁰ and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat on the altar.

²¹ Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh for a wave offering before the LORD, as Moses commanded.

²² Aaron lifted up his hands towards the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

²³ Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people; and the LORD’s glory appeared to all the people.

⁵ And they took the things ordered by Moses, before the Tent of meeting, and all the people came near, waiting before the Lord.

⁶ And Moses said, This is what the Lord has said you are to do; and you will see the glory of the Lord.

⁷ And Moses said to Aaron, Come near to the altar and make your sin-offering and your burned offering to take away your sin and the sin of the people, and make the people's offering to take away their sin; as the Lord has given orders.

⁸ So Aaron came near to the altar and put to death the ox for the sin-offering for himself;

⁹ And the sons of Aaron gave him the blood and he put his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, draining out the blood at the base of the altar;

¹⁰ But the fat and the kidneys and the fat on the liver of the sin-offering were burned by him on the altar as the Lord gave orders to Moses.

¹¹ And the flesh and the skin were burned with fire outside the tent-circle;

¹² And he put to death the burned offering; and Aaron's sons gave him the blood and he put some of it on and round the altar;

¹³ And they gave him the parts of the burned offering, in their order, and the head, to be burned on the altar.

¹⁴ And the inside parts and the legs, when they had been washed with water, were burned on the burned offering on the altar.

¹⁵ And he made an offering for the people and took the goat of the sin-offering for the people and put it to death, offering it for sin, in the same way as the first.

¹⁶ And he took the burned offering, offering it in the ordered way;

¹⁷ And he put the meal offering before the Lord, and taking some of it in his hand he had it burned on the altar, separately from the burned offering of the morning.

¹⁸ And he put to death the ox and the sheep, which were the peace-offerings for the people; and Aaron's sons gave him the blood and he put some of it on and round the altar;

¹⁹ And as for the fat of the ox and the fat tail of the sheep and the fat covering the inside parts and the kidneys and the fat on the liver;

²⁰ They put the fat on the breasts, and the fat was burned on the altar.

²¹ And Aaron took the breasts and the right leg, waving them for a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses gave orders.

²² And Aaron, lifting up his hands to the people, gave them a blessing; and he came down from offering the sin-offering, and the burned offering, and the peace-offerings.

²³ And Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of meeting, and came out and gave the people a blessing, and the glory of the Lord was seen by all the people.

⁵ And they brought what Moses commanded before the tent of meeting; and all the assembly approached and stood before Jehovah.

⁶ And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded that ye should do; and the glory of Jehovah shall appear to you.

⁷ And Moses said unto Aaron, Go to the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah has commanded.

⁸ And Aaron went to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin-offering which was for himself;

⁹ and the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar.

¹⁰ And the fat, and the kidneys, and the net above the liver, of the sin-offering, he burned on the altar, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

¹¹ And the flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.

¹² And he slaughtered the burnt-offering; and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled on the altar round about.

¹³ And they delivered the burnt-offering to him, in the pieces thereof, and the head; and he burned them on the altar.

¹⁴ And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burned them upon the burnt-offering, on the altar.

¹⁵ And he presented the people's offering, and took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people and slaughtered it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

¹⁶ And he presented the burnt-offering and offered it according to the ordinance.

¹⁷ And he presented the oblation, and took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, besides the burnt-offering of the morning.

¹⁸ And he slaughtered the bullock and the ram of the sacrifice of peace-offering which was for the people. And Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the altar round about;

¹⁹ and the pieces of fat of the bullock and of the ram, the fat tail and what covers the inwards, and the kidneys, and the net of the liver;

²⁰ and they put the pieces of fat on the breast-pieces, and he burned the pieces of fat on the altar;

²¹ and the breast-pieces and the right shoulder Aaron waved as a wave-offering before Jehovah, as Moses had commanded.

²² And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and came down after the offering of the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offering.

²³ And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out and blessed the people; and the glory of Jehovah appeared to all the people.

⁵ They brought therefore all things that Moses had commanded before the door of the tabernacle: where when all the multitude stood,

⁶ Moses said: This is the word, which the Lord hath commanded: do it, and his glory will appear to you.

⁷ And he said to Aaron: Approach to the altar, and offer sacrifice for thy sin: offer the holocaust, and pray for thyself and for the people: and when thou hast slain the people’s victim, pray for them, as the Lord hath commanded.

⁸ And forthwith Aaron, approaching to the altar, immolated the calf for his sin:

⁹ And his sons brought him the blood of it: and he dipped his finger therein, and touched the horns of the altar, and poured the rest at the foot thereof.

¹⁰ And the fat, and the little kidneys, and the caul of the liver, which are for sin, he burnt upon the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses:

¹¹ But the flesh and skins thereof he burnt with fire without the camp.

¹² He immolated also the victim of holocaust: and his sons brought him the blood thereof, which he poured round about on the altar.

¹³ And the victim being cut into pieces, they brought to him the head and all the members, all which he burnt with fire upon the altar,

¹⁴ Having first washed the entrails and the feet with water.

¹⁵ Then offering for the sin of the people, he slew the he goat: and expiating the altar,

¹⁶ He offered the holocaust:

¹⁷ Adding in the sacrifice the libations, which are offered withal, and burning them upon the altar, besides the ceremonies of the morning holocaust.

¹⁸ He immolated also the bullock and the ram, the peace offerings of the people: and his sons brought him the blood, which he poured upon the altar round about.

¹⁹ The fat also of the bullock, and the rump of the ram, and the two little kidneys, with their fat, and the caul of the liver,

²⁰ They put upon the breasts. And after the fat was burnt upon the altar,

²¹ Aaron separated their breasts, and the right shoulders, elevating them before the Lord, as Moses had commanded.

²² And stretching forth his hands to the people, he blessed them. And so the victims for sin, and the holocausts, and the peace offerings being finished, he came down.

²³ And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the testimony, and afterwards came forth and blessed the people. And the glory of the Lord appeared to all the multitude:

⁵ Following Moses' orders they brought what he'd said to the front of the Tent of Meeting. Everyone came and stood before the Lord.

⁶ Moses said, “This is what the Lord ordered me to tell you to do, so that you may see his glory.”

⁷ Then Moses told Aaron, “Go to the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering to make you and the people right. Then sacrifice the offerings brought by the people as a means to make them right, as the Lord ordered.”

⁸ So Aaron went to the altar and killed the calf as a sin offering for himself.

⁹ His sons brought the blood to him. He dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar.

¹⁰ He burned the fat, the kidneys, and the best part of the liver from the sin offering on the altar, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.

¹¹ However, he burned up the meat and the skin outside the camp.

¹² Aaron killed the burnt offering. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the sides of the altar.

¹³ They brought him the head and all the other pieces of the burnt offering, and he burned them on the altar.

¹⁴ He washed the insides and the legs and burned them with the rest of the burnt offering on the altar.

¹⁵ Then Aaron presented the offerings of the people. He killed the male goat as the sin offering for the people, and offered it in the same way as his own sin offering.

¹⁶ He presented the burnt offering, doing so in accordance with the regulations.

¹⁷ He presented the grain offering. He took a handful from it and burned it on the altar, in addition to the burnt offering presented earlier that morning.

¹⁸ Aaron killed the bull and the ram as the peace offering for the people. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the sides of the altar.

¹⁹ They also brought him the fat portions from the bull, and from the ram—the fat tail, the fat covering the insides, the kidneys, and the best part of the liver—

²⁰ and put them on the breasts. Aaron burned the fat portions on the altar,

²¹ but he waved the breasts and the right thigh as a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses had ordered him to do.

²² Then Aaron held up his hands towards the people and blessed them. After that he came down from the altar, having completed the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering.

²³ Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting. When they came out, they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord was revealed to everyone.

⁵ Then they brought that which Moses commanded before the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and all the assembly drewe neere and stood before the Lord.

⁶ (For Moses had sayde, This is the thing, which the Lord commanded that ye should do, and the glory of the Lord shall appeare vnto you)

⁷ Then Moses sayd vnto Aaron, Draw neere to the Altar, and offer thy sinne offering, and thy burnt offring, and make an attonement for thee and for the people: offer also the offring of the people, and make an atonement for them, as the Lord hath commanded.

⁸ Aaron therefore went vnto the Altar, and killed the calfe of the sinne offring, which was for himselfe.

⁹ And the sonnes of Aaron brought ye blood vnto him, and he dipt his finger in the blood, and put it vpon the hornes of the Altar, and powred the rest of the blood at the foote of the Altar.

¹⁰ But the fat and the kidneis and the kall of the liuer of the sinne offring, he burnt vpon the Altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

¹¹ The flesh also and the hide hee burnt with fire without the hoste.

¹² After, he slewe the burnt offering, and Aarons sonnes brought vnto him the blood, which he sprinckled round about vpon the Altar.

¹³ Also they brought the burnt offring vnto him with the pieces thereof, and the head, and he burnt them vpon the Altar.

¹⁴ Likewise he did wash the inwardes and the legs, and burnt them vpon the burnt offring on the Altar.

¹⁵ Then he offred the peoples offring, and tooke a goate, which was the sinne offring for the people, and slewe it: and offred it for sinne, as the first:

¹⁶ So he offred the burnt offring, and prepared it, according to the maner.

¹⁷ He presented also the meate offring, and filled his hand thereof, and beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning he burnt this vpon the Altar.

¹⁸ He slewe also the bullock, and the ram for the peace offrings, that was for the people, and Arons sonnes brought vnto him the blood, which he sprinkled vpon the Altar round about,

¹⁹ With the fat of the bullocke, and of the ram, the rumpe, and that which couereth the inwards and the kidneis, and the kall of the liuer.

²⁰ So they layed the fat vpon the breasts, and he burnt the fat vpon the Altar.

²¹ But the breastes and the right shoulder Aaron shooke to and from before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

²² So Aaron lift vp his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came downe from offring of the sinne offring, and the burnt offring, and the peace offrings.

²³ After, Moses and Aaron went into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and came out, and blessed the people, and the glorie of the Lord appeared to all the people.

⁵ And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting; and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

⁶ And Moses said: 'This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do; that the glory of the LORD may appear unto you.'

⁷ And Moses said unto Aaron: 'Draw near unto the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and present the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.'

¹³ And they delivered the burnt-offering unto him, piece by piece, and the head; and he made them smoke upon the altar.

¹⁴ And he washed the inwards and the legs, and made them smoke upon the burnt-offering on the altar.

¹⁵ And the people's offering was presented; and he took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

¹⁶ And the burnt-offering was presented; and he offered it according to the ordinance.

¹⁷ And the meal-offering was presented; and he filled his hand therefrom, and made it smoke upon the altar, besides the burnt-offering of the morning.

¹⁸ He slew also the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which was for the people; and Aaron's sons delivered unto him the blood, and he dashed it against the altar round about,

²¹ And the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave-offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.

¹³ And the burnt-offering they presented unto him, in its proper pieces, together with the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

¹⁴ And he washed the inwards and the legs; and he burnt them upon the burnt-offering on the altar.

¹⁵ And he brought near the people's offering; and he took the goat of the sin-offering which belonged to the people, and slew it, and made atonement with its blood, as the first.

¹⁷ And he brought near the meat-offering, and he filled his hand thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt-sacrifice of the morning.

⁵ And they took as Moses commanded them before the tabernacle of witness, and all the congregation drew nigh, and they stood before the Lord.

⁶ And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord has spoken; do it, and the glory of the Lord shall appear among you.

⁷ And Moses said to Aaron, Draw nigh to the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy whole burnt offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for thy house; and offer the gifts of the people, and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded Moses.

⁸ And Aaron drew nigh to the altar, and slew the calf of his sin offering.

⁹ And the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and he poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar.

¹⁵ And he brought the gift of the people, and took the goat of the sin offering of the people, and slew it, and purified it as also the first.

¹⁶ And he brought the whole burnt offering, and offered it in due form.

¹⁷ And he brought the sacrifice and filled his hands with it, and laid it on the altar, besides the morning whole burnt offering.

¹⁸ And he slew the calf, and the ram of the sacrifice of peace offering of the people; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it out on the altar round about.

¹⁹ And he took the fat of the calf, and the hindquarters of the ram, and the fat covering the belly, and the two kidneys, and the fat upon them, and the caul on the liver.

²⁰ And he put the fat on the breasts, and offered the fat on the altar.

²¹ And Aaron separated the breast and the right shoulder as a choice offering before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.

²² And Aaron lifted up his hands on the people and blessed them; and after he had offered the sin offering, and the whole burnt offerings, and the peace offerings, he came down.

²³ And Moses and Aaron entered into the tabernacle of witness. And they came out and blessed all the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

⁵ And what Mosheh had commanded they brought before the tabernacle of ordinance, and all the congregation approached and stood before the Lord.

⁶ And Mosheh said, This is the thing that the Lord hath commanded to be done, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed to you.

⁷ And Mosheh said to Aharon, Approach the altar, and make thy sin offering and thy burnt sacrifice, and make atonement for thyself and for the people, and perform the oblation of the people, and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded.

⁸ And Aharon drew near to the altar, and slew the calf for the sin offering for himself.

⁹ And the sons of Aharon brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar.

¹⁰ But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul of the liver of the sin offering he burned at the altar, as the Lord commanded Mosheh.

¹¹ And the flesh and the skin he burned in the fire without the camp.

¹² And he killed the whole burnt offering; and the sons of Aharon brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about.

¹³ And they brought to him the whole burnt offering by its members with the head, and he burned upon the altar.

¹⁴ And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burned with the offering at the altar.

¹⁵ And he brought the oblation of the people, and took the kid for the sin offering of the people, and killed it, and made atonement with its blood, as before.

¹⁶ And he brought the whole burnt offering, and performed in the manner proper.

¹⁷ And he took the mincha, and filled his hand with it, and burned it upon the altar beside the morning sacrifice.

¹⁸ And he slew the bullock and the ram for the hallowed oblations of the people; and the sons of Aharon brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled the blood round about.

¹⁹ Also the fats of the bullock and of the ram, the tail, and the covering of the inwards, with the kidneys, and the caul of the liver;

²⁰ And they placed the fats upon the breast, and burned the fats at the altar.

²¹ And the breast with the right shoulder Aharon uplifted, an elevation before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Mosheh.

²² And Aharon lifted up his hands over (to) the people and blessed them, and cane down from performing the sin offering, and the burnt sacrifice, and the hallowed oblations.

²³ And Mosheh and Aharon entered the tabernacle of ordinance, and came forth and blessed the people; and the glory of the Lord was revealed unto all the people:

⁵ They brought what Moses Drawn out enjoined before the Tent of Meeting: and all the congregation came near and stood before Adonai .

⁶ Moses Drawn out said, “This is the thing which Adonai enjoined that you should do: and the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing· shall appear to you.”

⁷ Moses Drawn out said to Aaron Light-bringer, “Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as Adonai enjoined.”

⁸ So Aaron Light-bringer came near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

⁹ The sons of Aaron Light-bringer presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar:

¹⁰ but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burned upon the altar; as Adonai enjoined Moses Drawn out.

¹¹ The meat and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.

¹³ They delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burned them upon the altar.

¹⁵ He presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first.

¹⁷ He presented the meal offering, and filled his hand from there, and burned it upon the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.

¹⁸ He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron Light-bringer’s sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar,

¹⁹ and the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the innards, and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver:

²⁰ and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar:

²¹ and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron Light-bringer waved for a wave offering before Adonai , as Moses Drawn out enjoined.

²² Aaron Light-bringer lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

²³ Moses Drawn out and Aaron Light-bringer went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing· appeared to all the people. (3)

⁵ So they brought all that Moses commanded to the tent of meeting, and all the assembly of Israel approached and stood before Yahweh.

⁶ Then Moses said, “This is what Yahweh commanded you to do, so that his glory may appear to you.”

⁷ Moses said to Aaron, “Come near the altar and offer your sin offering and burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people, and offer the sacrifice for the people to make atonement for them, as Yahweh has commanded.”

⁸ So Aaron went near the altar and killed the calf for the sin offering, which was for himself.

⁹ The sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into it and put it on the horns of the altar; then he poured out the blood at the base of the altar.

¹⁰ However, he burned the fat, the kidneys, and the covering of the liver on the altar as a sin offering, as Yahweh had commanded Moses.

¹¹ The meat and the hide he burned outside the camp.

¹² Aaron killed the burnt offering, and his sons gave him the blood, which he splashed against every side of the altar.

¹³ Then they gave him the burnt offering, piece by piece, together with the head, and he burned them on the altar.

¹⁴ He washed the inner parts and the legs and burned them on top of the burnt offering on the altar.

¹⁵ Aaron presented the people's sacrifice—a goat, then took it as the sacrifice for their sin and killed it; he sacrificed it for sin, as he had done with the first goat.

¹⁶ He presented the burnt offering and offered it as Yahweh had commanded.

¹⁷ He presented the grain offering; he filled his hand with it and burned it on the altar, along with the morning's burnt offering.

¹⁸ He killed also the ox and the ram, the sacrifice for the peace offering, which was for the people. Aaron's sons gave him the blood, which he sprinkled against every side of the altar.

¹⁹ However, they cut out the fat of the bull and the ram, the fat tail, the fat that covers the inner parts, the kidneys, and the covering of the liver.

²⁰ They took the parts that were cut out and put these on the breasts, and then Aaron burned the fat on the altar.

²¹ Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh as a wave offering before Yahweh, as Moses had commanded.

²² Then Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them; then he came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering.

²³ Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, then came out again and blessed the people, and the glory of Yahweh appeared to all the people.

⁵ They brought what Moses commanded before the Tent of Meeting. All the congregation came near and stood before Yahweh.

⁸ Aaron therefore went to the altar, and slew the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself.

⁹ And the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:

¹⁰ But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin-offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.

¹¹ And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.

¹² And he slew the burnt-offering; and Aaron's sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled around upon the altar.

¹³ And they presented the burnt-offering to him, with the pieces of it, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

¹⁴ And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt-offering on the altar.

¹⁸ He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace-offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled around upon the altar,

¹⁹ And the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards , and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:

²⁰ And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

⁷ And Moses said to Aaron, Nigh thou to the altar, and offer thou for thy sin; offer thou burnt sacrifice, and pray for thee, and for the people; and when thou hast slain the sacrifice of the people, pray thou for them, as the Lord commanded.

⁸ And anon Aaron nighed to the altar, and offered a calf for his sin;

⁹ whose blood his sons offered, or brought, to him, in which blood Aaron dipped his finger, and he touched the horns of the altar, and he poured the blood that was left at the foundament of the altar;

¹⁰ and he burnt upon the altar the inner fatness, and the little reins, and the caul of the maw, as the Lord commanded to Moses.

¹¹ Forsooth Aaron burnt with fire without the tents the flesh and the skin thereof.

¹² And he offered the beast of burnt sacrifice, and his sons brought to him the blood thereof, which he shedded or poured by compass of the altar;

¹³ they offered also that sacrifice cut into gobbets, with the head, and all the members; and he burnt by fire all these things upon the altar,

¹⁴ when the entrails and the feet were washed before with water.

¹⁵ And he offered and killed a buck of goats, for the sin of the people; and when the altar was cleansed, he made burnt sacrifice,

¹⁶ and he added into the sacrifice flowing offerings, that be offered together;

¹⁷ and he burnt those or them on the altar, without the ceremonies of the burnt sacrifice of the morrowtide.

¹⁸ He offered also an ox, and a ram, the peaceable sacrifices of the people; and his sons offered to him the blood, the which he poured by compass of the altar.

¹⁹ Forsooth they putted or put on the breasts the inner fatness of the ox, and the tail of the ram, and the little reins with their fatnesses, and the caul of the maw.

²⁰ And when the inner fatnesses were burnt upon the altar,

²¹ Aaron separated the breasts, and the right shoulders of them, and raised them before the Lord, as Moses commanded.

²² And he stretched forth his hands to the people, and blessed it; and so when the sacrifices for sin, and the burnt sacrifices, and the peaceable sacrifices, were fulfilled, Aaron came down from the place of sacrificing.

²³ Soothly Moses and Aaron entered into the tabernacle of witnessing, and went out afterward, and blessed the people;

⁵ Therefore they took all things, which Moses commanded, to the door of the tabernacle, where, when all the multitude stood, (And so they took all these things, which Moses commanded, to the entrance of the Tabernacle, where, when all the multitude stood,)

⁶ Moses said, This is the word which the Lord commanded (or This is what the Lord commanded), do ye it, and his glory shall appear to you.

⁷ And Moses said to Aaron, Nigh thou to the altar, and offer thou for thy sin; offer thou burnt sacrifice, and pray for thee, and for the people; and when thou hast slain the sacrifice of the people, pray thou for them, as the Lord commanded. ⁹ whose blood his sons offered, or brought, to him, in which blood Aaron dipped his finger, and he touched the horns of the altar, and he poured the blood that was left at the foundament of the altar, (or and he poured out the blood that was left at the foundation, or at the base, of the altar);

¹⁰ and he burnt upon the altar the inner fatness, and the little reins, and the caul of the maw, (for the sin offering), as the Lord commanded to Moses.

¹¹ Forsooth Aaron burnt with fire without the tents the flesh and the skin thereof. (But Aaron burned its flesh and its skin away from the tents.)

¹² And he offered the beast of burnt sacrifice, and his sons brought to him the blood thereof, which he shedded by compass of the altar; (And then he offered the beast for the burnt sacrifice, and his sons brought him its blood, which he threw against all the sides of the altar;)

¹⁷ and he burnt those on the altar, without the ceremonies of the burnt sacrifice of the morrowtide. (and he burned a handful of the grain offering on the altar, in addition to the morning burnt sacrifice.)

¹⁸ He offered also an ox, and a ram, the peaceable sacrifices of the people; and his sons offered to him the blood, the which he poured by compass of the altar. ⁵ Therfor thei token alle thingis, whiche Moises comaundide, to the dore of the tabernacle, where, whanne al the multitude stood,

⁷ And Moises seide to Aaron, Neiye thou to the auter, and offre thou for thi synne; offre thou brent sacrifice, and preye for thee, and for the puple; and whanne thou hast slayn the sacrifice of the puple, preye thou for hem, as the Lord comaundide.

⁸ And anoon Aaron neiyede to the auter, and offride a calf for his synne;

⁹ whos blood hise sones offriden to him, in which blood he dippide the fyngur, and touchide the hornes of the auter, and schedde the residue at the foundement therof;

¹⁰ and he brente on the auter the ynnere fatnesse, and litle reynes, and the calle of the mawe, as the Lord comaundide to Moises.

¹¹ Forsothe he brente bi fier without the castels the fleischis and skyn therof.

¹² And he offride the beeste of brent sacrifice, and hise sones offriden to hym the blood therof, which he schedde bi the cumpas of the auter;

¹³ thei offriden also thilke sacrifice kit in to gobetis, with the heed, and alle membris; and he brente bi fier alle these thingis on the auter,

¹⁴ whanne the entrailis and feet weren waischun bifor with watir.

¹⁵ And he offride and killide a buk of geet, for the synne of the puple; and whanne the auter was clensid,

¹⁶ he made brent sacrifice,

¹⁷ and addide in to the sacrifice fletynge offryngis that ben offrid togidere; and he brente tho on the auter, without cerymonyes of brent sacrifice of the morewtid.

¹⁸ He offride also an oxe, and a ram, pesible sacrifices of the puple; and hise sones offriden to hym the blood, which he schedde bi the cumpas of the auter.

¹⁹ Forsothe thei puttiden on the brestis the ynnere fatnesse of the oxe, and the tail of the ram, and the litle reynes with her fatnessis, and the calle of the mawe.

²⁰ And whanne the ynnere fatnessis weren brent in the auter,

²¹ Aaron departide the brestis, and the riyt schuldris of tho, and reiside bifor the Lord, as Moises comaundide.

²² And he streiyte forth hondis to the puple, and blesside it; and so whanne the sacrifices for synne, and brent sacrifices, and pesible sacrifices, weren fillid, he cam doun.

²³ Sotheli Moyses and Aaron entriden in to the tabernacle of witnessyng, and yeden out aftirward, and blessiden the puple; and the glorie of the Lord apperide to al the multitude.

⁵ And they take that which Moses hath commanded unto the front of the tent of meeting, and all the company draw near and stand before Jehovah;

⁶ and Moses saith, 'This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded; do it, and the honour of Jehovah doth appear unto you.'

⁷ And Moses saith unto Aaron, 'Draw near unto the altar, and make thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people, and make the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah hath commanded.'

⁸ And Aaron draweth near unto the altar, and slaughtereth the calf of the sin-offering, which is for himself;

⁹ and the sons of Aaron bring the blood near unto him, and he dippeth his finger in the blood, and putteth it on the horns of the altar, and the blood he hath poured out at the foundation of the altar;

¹⁰ and the fat, and the kidneys, and the redundance of the liver, of the sin-offering, he hath made a perfume on the altar, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses;

¹¹ and the flesh and the skin he hath burnt with fire, at the outside of the camp.

¹² And he slaughtereth the burnt-offering, and the sons of Aaron have presented unto him the blood, and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about;

¹³ and the burnt-offering they have presented unto him, by its pieces, and the head, and he maketh perfume on the altar;

¹⁴ and he washeth the inwards and the legs, and maketh perfume for the burnt-offering on the altar.

¹⁵ And he bringeth near the offering of the people, and taketh the goat of the sin-offering which is for the people, and slaughtered it, and maketh it a sin-offering, like the first;

¹⁶ and he bringeth near the burnt-offering, and maketh it, according to the ordinance;

¹⁷ and he bringeth near the present, and filleth his palm with it, and maketh perfume on the altar, apart from the burnt-offering of the morning.

¹⁸ And he slaughtereth the bullock and the ram, a sacrifice of the peace-offerings, which are for the people, and sons of Aaron present the blood unto him (and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about),

¹⁹ and the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the fat tail, and the covering of the inwards, and the kidneys, and the redundance above the liver,

²⁰ and they set the fat on the breasts, and he maketh perfume with the fat on the altar;

²¹ and the breasts, and the right leg hath Aaron waved — a wave-offering before Jehovah, as He hath commanded Moses.

²² And Aaron lifteth up his hand towards the people, and blesseth them, and cometh down from making the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

²³ And Moses goeth in — Aaron also — unto the tent of meeting, and they come out, and bless the people, and the honour of Jehovah appeareth unto all the people;
