⁴ And Moses did as Jehovah commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the tent of meeting.

⁵ And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded to be done.

⁶ And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

⁷ And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the skilfully woven band of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.

⁸ And he placed the breastplate upon him: and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Thummim.

⁹ And he set the mitre upon his head; and upon the mitre, in front, did he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹⁰ And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them.

¹¹ And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the laver and its base, to sanctify them.

¹² And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

¹³ And Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and clothed them with coats, and girded them with girdles, and bound head-tires upon them; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹⁴ And he brought the bullock of the sin-offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock of the sin-offering.

¹⁵ And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.

¹⁶ And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moses burned it upon the altar.

¹⁷ But the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹⁸ And he presented the ram of the burnt-offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

¹⁹ And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

⁴ And Moses did as the Lord appointed him, and he assembled the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of witness.

⁵ And Moses said to the congregation, This is the thing which the Lord has commanded you to do.

⁶ And Moses brought nigh Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water,

⁷ and put on him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the tunic, and put on him the ephod;

⁸ and girded him with a girdle according to the make of the ephod, and clasped him closely with it: and put upon it the oracle, and put upon the oracle the Manifestation and the Truth.

⁹ And he put the mitre on his head, and put upon the mitre in front the golden plate, the most holy thing, as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹⁰ And Moses took of the anointing oil,

¹¹ and sprinkled of it seven times on the altar; and anointed the altar, and hallowed it, and all things on it, and the laver, and its foot, and sanctified them; and anointed the tabernacle and all its furniture, and hallowed it.

¹² And Moses poured of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron; and he anointed him and sanctified him.

¹³ And Moses brought the sons of Aaron near, and put on them coats and girded them with girdles, and put on them bonnets, as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹⁴ And Moses brought near the calf for the sin-offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the calf of the sin-offering.

¹⁵ And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger; and he purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement upon it.

¹⁶ And Moses took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the lobe on the liver, and both the kidneys, and the fat that was upon them, and Moses offered them on the altar.

¹⁷ But the calf, and his hide, and his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp, as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹⁸ And Moses brought near the ram for a whole-burnt-offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. And Moses slew the ram: and Moses poured the blood on the altar round about.

¹⁹ And he divided the ram by its limbs, and Moses offered the head, and the limbs, and the fat; and he washed the belly and the feet with water.

⁴ And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

⁴ Moses/I did what Yahweh told him/me to do, and all the people gathered there.

⁵ Then Moses/I said to the people, “This is what Yahweh has commanded us to do.”

⁶ Then he/I brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them.

⁷ He/I put the special tunic/shirt on Aaron, tied the sash/waistband around him, put on him the special robe, and put on him the sacred vest/apron. He/I fastened the sacred vest/apron around him, using the skillfully woven sash.

⁸ He/I put the sacred pouch on his chest and put into it the two stones for him to use to find out what God wants.

⁹ Then he/I wrapped the turban around Aaron's head, and fastened on the front of it the gold ornament, the object that showed that he was dedicated to God, like Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.

¹⁰ Then Moses/I took the olive oil and anointed the sacred tent and everything in it, and dedicated them to Yahweh.

¹¹ He/I sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times. He/I anointed the altar and all the things used with it, and its huge washbasin and its stand, to dedicate them to Yahweh.

¹² He/I poured some of the oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to dedicate him to Yahweh.

¹³ Then he/I brought forward Aaron's sons. He/I put tunics/shirts on them, tied sashes/waistbands around them, and wrapped turbans around their heads, like Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.

¹⁴ Then he/I brought the bull for the offering to cause people to be forgiven for the sins that have committed. Then Aaron and his sons put their hands on the bull's head.

¹⁵ Then Moses/I slaughtered the bull, caught some of its blood in a bowl, and with his/my finger put some of it on the projections at the corners of the altar, to purify the altar. He/I poured the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. By doing that, he/I caused it to be a suitable place for burning sacrifices for sin.

¹⁶ Moses/I took all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, including the liver and kidneys, and burned them on the altar.

¹⁷ He/I took the rest of the bull, including the hide and intestines, and burned them outside the camp, like Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.

¹⁸ Then he/I brought the ram for the offering that would be completely burned on the altar, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.

¹⁹ Then Moses/I slaughtered the ram and sprinkled its blood on all sides of the altar.

⁷ He put the coat on him, making it tight with its band, and then the robe, and over it the ephod, with its band of needlework to keep it in place.

⁸ And he put the priest's bag on him, and in the bag he put the Urim and Thummim.

⁹ And on his head he put the head-dress, and in front of the head-dress the plate of gold, the holy crown, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.

¹⁰ And Moses took the holy oil and put it on the House and on all the things in it, to make them holy.

¹¹ Seven times he put oil on the altar and on all its vessels, and on the washing-basin and its base, to make them holy.

¹² And some of the oil he put on Aaron's head, to make him holy.

¹³ Then he took Aaron's sons, clothing them with the coats, and putting the bands round them, and the head-dresses on their heads, as the Lord had given him orders.

¹⁴ And he took the ox of the sin-offering: and Aaron and his sons put their hands on the head of the ox,

¹⁵ And he put it to death; and Moses took the blood and put it on the horns of the altar and round it with his finger, and made the altar clean, draining out the blood at the base of the altar; so he made it holy, taking away what was unclean.

¹⁶ And he took all the fat on the inside parts, and the fat on the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, to be burned on the altar;

¹⁷ But the ox, with its skin and its flesh and its waste, was burned with fire outside the tent-circle, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.

¹⁸ And he put the male sheep of the burned offering before the Lord, and Aaron and his sons put their hands on its head,

¹⁹ And he put it to death; and Moses put some of the blood on and round the altar.

⁴ And Moses did as Jehovah had commanded him; and the assembly was collected at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

⁵ And Moses said to the assembly, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded to be done.

⁶ And Moses brought Aaron near, and his sons, and bathed them with water.

⁷ And he put upon him the vest and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the cloak, and put the ephod on him, and he girded him with the girdle of the ephod, and fastened the ephod on him.

⁸ And he put the breastplate on it, and put on the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim;

⁹ and he put the turban upon his head; and upon the turban, on the front of it, he put the golden plate, the holy diadem; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

¹⁰ And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and hallowed them.

¹¹ And he sprinkled thereof on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand, to hallow them.

¹² And he poured of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, and anointed him, to hallow him.

¹³ And Moses brought Aaron's sons near and clothed them with the vests, and girded them with the girdles, and bound the high caps on them, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

¹⁴ And he brought near the bullock for the sin-offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bullock for the sin-offering;

¹⁵ and he slaughtered it, and Moses took the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and cleansed the altar from sin, and the blood he poured at the bottom of the altar, and hallowed it, making atonement for it.

¹⁶ And he took all the fat that was on the inwards, and the net of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar.

¹⁷ And the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung he burned with fire outside the camp, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

¹⁸ And he presented the ram of the burnt-offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram;

¹⁹ and he slaughtered it; and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar round about.

⁴ And Moses did as the Lord had commanded. And all the multitude being gathered together before the door of the tabernacle,

⁵ He said: This is the word that the Lord hath commanded to be done.

⁶ And immediately he offered Aaron and his sons: and when he had washed them,

⁷ He vested the high priest with the strait linen garment, girding him with the girdle, and putting on him the violet tunick, and over it he put the ephod,

⁸ And binding it with the girdle, he fitted it to the rational, on which was Doctrine and Truth.

⁹ He put also the mitre upon his head: and upon the mitre over the forehead, he put the plate of gold, consecrated with sanctification, as the Lord had commanded him.

¹⁰ He took also the oil of unction, with which he anointed the tabernacle, with all the furniture thereof.

¹¹ And when he had sanctified and sprinkled the altar seven times, he anointed it, and all the vessels thereof, and the laver with the foot thereof, he sanctified with the oil.

¹² And he poured it upon Aaron’s head, and he anointed and consecrated him:

¹³ And after he had offered his sons, he vested them with linen tunicks, and girded them with girdles, and put mitres on them as the Lord had commanded.

¹⁴ He offered also the calf for sin: and when Aaron and his sons had put their hands upon the head thereof,

¹⁵ He immolated it: and took the blood, and dipping his finger in it, he touched the horns of the altar round about. Which being expiated, and sanctified, he poured the rest of the blood at the bottom thereof.

¹⁶ But the fat that was upon the entrails, and the caul of the liver, and the two little kidneys, with their fat, he burnt upon the altar:

¹⁷ And the calf with the skin, and the flesh and the dung, he burnt without the camp, as the Lord had commanded.

¹⁸ He offered also a ram for a holocaust: and when Aaron and his sons had put their hands upon its head,

¹⁹ He immolated it, and poured the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

⁴ Moses did as the Lord instructed him, and everyone gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

⁵ Moses told them, “The following is what the Lord has ordered to be done.”

⁶ Moses had Aaron and his sons come forward, and he washed them with water.

⁷ He dressed Aaron with the tunic, tied the sash around him, put the robe on him and then the ephod. He tied the waistband of the ephod around him, fastening it to him.

⁸ Then Moses attached the breastpiece to Aaron and put the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece.

⁹ He put the turban on Aaron's head and placed the gold plate, the holy crown, on the front of the turban, as the Lord had instructed him to do.

¹⁰ Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the Tabernacle and everything in it to dedicate it all.

¹¹ He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times to anoint it and all its utensils, as well as the basin with its stand to dedicate them.

¹² Moses poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head to anoint him and to dedicate him.

¹³ Then Moses had Aaron's sons come forward, dressed them tunics in them, tied sashes around them, and wrapped headbands on them, as the Lord had ordered him to do.

¹⁴ Moses brought the bull over for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons put their hands on its head.

¹⁵ Moses killed the bull and took some of the blood. He used his finger to put the blood on all four horns of the altar to dedicate it and purify it. He poured out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar, and consecrated the altar so that it could be used to make people right.

¹⁶ Moses took all the fat that covers the insides, the best part of the liver, both kidneys with the fat on them, burned all of it on the altar.

¹⁷ But the rest of the bull—the skin, the meat, and the waste he burned outside the camp, as the Lord had ordered him to do.

¹⁸ Moses brought the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons put their hands on its head.

¹⁹ Moses killed the ram and sprinkled the blood on all sides of the altar.

⁴ So Moses did as the Lord had commanded him, and the companie was assembled at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

⁵ Then Moses said vnto the company, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded to doe.

⁶ And Moses brought Aaron and his sonnes, and washed them with water,

⁷ And put vpon him the coate, and girded him with a girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the Ephod on him, which he girded with the broydred garde of the Ephod, and bounde it vnto him therewith.

⁸ After he put the brest plate thereon, and put in the breast plate the Vrim and the Thummim.

⁹ Also he put the miter vpon his head, and put vpon the miter on the fore front the golden plate, and the holy crowne, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

¹⁰ (Nowe Moses had taken the anointing oyle, and anoynted the Tabernacle, and al that was therein, and sanctified them,

¹¹ And sprinkled thereof vpon the altar seuen times, and anointed the altar and all his instruments, and the lauer, and his foote, to sanctifie them)

¹² And he powred of the anointing oyle vpon Aarons head, and anointed him, to sanctifie him.

¹³ After, Moses brought Aarons sonnes, and put coates vpon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonets vpon their heades, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

¹⁴ Then he brought the bullocke for the sinne offring, and Aaron and his sonnes put their handes vpon the head of the bullocke for the sinne offring.

¹⁵ And Moses slew him, and tooke the blood, which he put vpon the hornes of the Altar roud about with his finger, and purified the altar, and powred the rest of the blood at the foote of ye altar: so he sanctified it, to make reconciliation vpon it.

¹⁶ Then he tooke all the fatte that was vpon the inwardes, and the kall of the liuer and the two kidneis, with their fat, which Moses burned vpon the Altar.

¹⁷ But the bullocke and his hide, and his flesh, and his doung, hee burnt with fire without the host as the Lord had commanded Moses.

¹⁸ Also hee brought the ram for the burnt offring, and Aaron and his sonnes put their hands vpon the head of the ramme.

⁸ and girded him with a girdle according to the make of the ephod, and clasped him closely with it: and put upon it the oracle, and put upon the oracle the Manifestation and the Truth.

⁹ And he put the miter on his head, and put upon the miter in front the golden plate, the most holy thing, as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹¹ and sprinkled of it seven times on the altar; and anointed the altar, and hallowed it, and all things on it, and the laver, and its foot, and sanctified them; and anointed the tabernacle and all its furniture, and hallowed it.

¹² And Moses poured of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron; and he anointed him and sanctified him.

¹³ And Moses brought the sons of Aaron near, and put on them coats and girded them with girdles, and put on them bonnets, as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹⁴ And Moses brought near the calf for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the calf of the sin offering.

¹⁵ And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger; and he purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement upon it.

¹⁶ And Moses took all the fat that was upon the innards, and the lobe on the liver, and both the kidneys, and the fat that was upon them, and Moses offered them on the altar.

¹⁷ But the calf, and his hide, and his flesh, and his dung, he burned with fire without the camp, as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹⁸ And Moses brought near the ram for a whole burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. And Moses slew the ram: and Moses poured the blood on the altar round about.

¹⁹ And he divided the ram by its limbs, and Moses offered the head, and the limbs, and the fat; and he washed the belly and the feet with water.

⁴ And Mosheh did as the Lord commanded him, and the congregation was gathered together at the gate of the tabernacle of ordinance.

⁵ And Mosheh said to the congregation, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded to be done.

⁶ And Mosheh brought Aharon and his sons near, and washed them with water;

⁷ And he put upon him the vestment, and girded him with the girdle, and dressed him with the robe, and set upon him the ephod, and bound him with the band of the ephod, and ordained him therewith;

⁸ And set upon him the breastplate, and put in the breastplate the uraia an the thummaia.

⁹ And he set the mitre upon his head, and place on the mitre, on the forehead of his face, the plate of gold, the diadem of Holiness, as the Lord had commanded Mosheh.

¹⁰ And Mosheh took the consecrating oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.

¹¹ And he sprinkled of it upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the laver and its base, to sanctify them.

¹² And he poured the oil of consecration upon Aharon’s head, and anointed him to consecrate him.

¹³ And Mosheh brought the sons of Aharon near, and dressed them in vestments, and girded them with girdles, and appointed them with mitres, as the Lord had commanded Mosheh.

¹⁴ And he brought the bullock near for the sin offering, and Aharon and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock which was the sin offering.

¹⁵ And Mosheh took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about, with his finger, and purified the altar, and the blood he poured out at the base of the altar, and consecrated it to make atonement upon it.

¹⁵ He killed it, and he took the blood and put it on the horns of the altar with his finger, purified the altar, poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and set it apart for God in order to make atonement for it.

¹⁶ And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.

¹⁷ But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.

¹⁸ And he brought the ram for the burnt-offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

¹⁹ And he killed it ; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

⁴ Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

⁵ Moses said to the congregation, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded to be done.”

⁶ Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

⁷ He put the tunic on him, tied the sash on him, clothed him with the robe, put the ephod on him, and he tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod on him and fastened it to him with it.

⁸ He placed the breastplate on him. He put the Urim and Thummim in the breastplate.

⁹ He set the turban on his head. He set the golden plate, the holy crown, on the front of the turban, as the LORD commanded Moses.

¹⁰ Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.

¹¹ He sprinkled it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the basin and its base, to sanctify them.

¹² He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

¹³ Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and clothed them with tunics, and tied sashes on them, and put headbands on them, as the LORD commanded Moses.

¹⁴ He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.

¹⁵ He killed it; and Moses took the blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.

⁸ and joined thereto the rational, wherein doctrine and truth was.

⁹ And Moses covered Aaron’s head with a mitre, and upon the mitre, about the front, he put the golden plate, made sacred in the hallowing, as the Lord commanded to him.

¹⁰ And he took also the oil of anointing, with which he anointed the tabernacle with all his appurtenance; and when he had hallowed,

¹¹ and had sprinkled the altar seven times, he anointed it, and hallowed with oil all the vessels thereof, and the great washing vessel with his foundament.

¹² Which oil he shedded or pouring upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, and hallowed.

¹³ And his sons offered, or presented, Moses clothed with linen coats, and he girded them with girdles, and he set or put on their heads mitres, as the Lord commanded.

¹⁴ He offered also a calf for sin; and when Aaron and his sons had put their hands on the head of that calf,

¹⁵ he offered it, and drew up the blood; and when the finger was dipped in the blood thereof, he touched the corners of the altar by compass; when the altar was cleansed and hallowed, Moses poured the blood that was left at the altar’s foot.

¹⁶ Soothly he burnt on the altar the inner fatness that was on the entrails, and the caul of the maw, and the two little reins with their little fatnesses;

¹⁷ and he burnt without the tents the calf, with the skin, the flesh, and the dung, as the Lord commanded.

¹⁸ And he offered a ram into burnt sacrifice; and when Aaron and his sons had set or put their hands upon the head thereof,

¹⁹ he offered it, and he poured the blood thereof by compass of the altar.

⁴ Moses did as the Lord commanded; and when all the company was gathered before the gates of the tabernacle (or and when all the congregation was gathered together at the entrance to the Tabernacle),

⁵ Moses said, This is the word which the Lord commanded to be done. (Moses said, This is what the Lord commanded to be done.)

⁶ And at once Moses offered, or presented to (the) priest’s office, Aaron and his sons; and when he had washed them,

⁷ he clothed (Aaron), the bishop, with a linen shirt, and girded him with a girdle, and clothed him with a coat of jacinth, and putted the cloth (or the cloak) on the shoulders above, which cloth (or cloak) on the shoulders he bound with a girdle, (he clothed Aaron, the High Priest, with a linen shirt, or with a linen robe, and girded him with a sash, and clothed him with a robe, or with an alb, of jacinth, and put the ephod over it, which ephod he bound with a sash,)

⁸ and joined thereto the rational, wherein doctrine and truth was. (and joined the breastpiece to it, in which was the Urim and the Thummim.)

⁹ And Moses covered Aaron’s head with a mitre, and upon the mitre, about the front, he put the golden plate, (made) sacred in the hallowing, as the Lord commanded to him. (And Moses covered Aaron’s head with a turban, and on the turban, at the front, he put the gold plate, the sacred symbol of dedication, as the Lord commanded to him.)

¹⁰ And he took also the oil of anointing, with which he anointed the tabernacle with all his purtenance; and when he had hallowed (them), (And he took the anointing oil, and he anointed the Tabernacle, and all its purtenances; and when he had consecrated, or had dedicated, them,)

¹¹ and had sprinkled the altar seven times, he anointed it, and hallowed with (the) oil all the vessels thereof, and the great washing vessel with his foundament (or and the great washing vessel, and its foundation, or its base).

¹² Which oil he shedded upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, and hallowed (him). (And then he poured some of the oil on Aaron’s head, and anointed him, and consecrated him.)

¹³ And his sons offered, or presented, Moses clothed (them) with linen coats, and he girded them with girdles, and he set on their heads mitres, as the Lord commanded. (And then Aaron’s sons were brought forth, and Moses clothed them with linen shirts, or with linen robes, and he girded them with sashes, and he put turbans, or caps, on their heads, as the Lord commanded.)

¹⁴ He offered also a calf for sin (or And he brought forth the calf for the sin offering); and when Aaron and his sons had put their hands on the head of that calf,

¹⁵ he offered it, and drew up the blood; and when the finger was dipped in the blood thereof, he touched the corners of the altar by compass (or he touched the horns all around the altar); (and) when the altar was cleansed and hallowed, Moses poured (out) the blood that was left at the altar’s foot, (or at its base).

⁴ Moises dide as the Lord comaundide; and whanne al the company was gaderid bifor the yatis of the tabernacle, he seide,

⁵ This is the word which the Lord comaundid to be don.

⁶ And anoon Moises offride Aaron and hise sones; and whanne he hadde waischun hem,

⁷ he clothide the bischop with a lynnun schirte, `and girdide `the bischop with a girdil, and clothide with a coote of iacynt, and `puttide the cloth on the schuldris aboue,

⁸ which cloth on the schuldris he boond with a girdil, and `dresside to the racional, wherynne doctryn and truthe was.

⁹ And Moises hilide the heed with a mytre, and `settide theronne, ayens the forhed, the goldun plate halewid in halewyng, as the Lord comaundide to hym.

¹⁰ He took also the oile of anoyntyng, with which he anoyntide the tabernacle with al his purtenaunce;

¹¹ and whanne he hadde halewid and hadde spreynt the auter seuen sithes, he anoyntide it, and halewide with oile alle the vessels therof, and the `greet waischyng vessel with his foundement.

¹² Which oile he schedde on `the heed of Aaron, and anoyntide hym, and halewide.

¹³ And he clothide with lynnun cootis, and girdide with girdils `his sones offrid, and settide on mytris, as the Lord comaundide.

¹⁴ He offeride also a calf for synne; and whanne Aaron and hise sones hadden put her hondis on `that calf,

¹⁵ he offride it, and drow up blood; and whanne the fyngur was dippid, he touchide the corneris of the auter bi cumpas; whanne the auter was clensid and halewid, he schedde the `residue blood at the `foundement therof.

¹⁶ Sotheli he brent on the auter the ynnere fatnesse that was on the entrails, and the calle of the mawe, and the twei litle reynes with her litle fatnessis;

¹⁷ and he brente without the castels the calf, with the skyn, fleischis, and dung, as the Lord comaundide.

¹⁸ He offride also a ram in to brent sacrifice; and whanne Aaron and hise sones hadden set her hondis on the heed therof,

¹⁹ he offride it, and schedde the blood therof bi the cumpas of the auter.

⁴ And Moses doth as Jehovah hath commanded him, and the company is assembled unto the opening of the tent of meeting,

⁵ and Moses saith unto the company, 'This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded to do.'

⁶ And Moses bringeth near Aaron and his sons, and doth bathe them with water,

⁷ and doth put on him the coat, and doth gird him with the girdle, and doth clothe him with the upper robe, and doth put on him the ephod, and doth gird him with the girdle of the ephod, and doth bind it to him with it,

⁸ and doth put on him the breastplate, and doth put unto the breastplate the Lights and the Perfections,

⁹ and doth put the mitre on his head, and doth put on the mitre, over-against its front, the golden flower of the holy crown, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

¹⁰ And Moses taketh the anointing oil, and anointeth the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and sanctifieth them;

¹¹ and he sprinkleth of it on the altar seven times, and anointeth the altar, and all its vessels, and the laver, and its base, to sanctify them;

¹² and he poureth of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron, and anointeth him to sanctify him.

¹³ And Moses bringeth near the sons of Aaron, and doth clothe them with coats, and girdeth them with girdles, and bindeth for them turbans, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

¹⁴ And he bringeth nigh the bullock of the sin-offering, and Aaron layeth — his sons also — their hands on the head of the bullock of the sin-offering,

¹⁵ and one slaughtereth, and Moses taketh the blood, and putteth on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and cleanseth the altar, and the blood he hath poured out at the foundation of the altar, and sanctifieth it, to make atonement upon it.
