Leviticus 7:4-14 in English

⁴ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away;

⁵ and the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto Jehovah: it is a trespass-offering.

⁶ Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in a holy place: it is most holy.

⁷ As is the sin-offering, so is the trespass-offering; there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith, he shall have it.

⁸ And the priest that offereth any man’s burnt-offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt-offering which he hath offered.

⁹ And every meal-offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the frying-pan, and on the baking-pan, shall be the priest’s that offereth it.

¹⁰ And every meal-offering, mingled with oil, or dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as well as another.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which one shall offer unto Jehovah.

¹² If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour soaked.

¹³ With cakes of leavened bread he shall offer his oblation with the sacrifice of his peace-offerings for thanksgiving.

¹⁴ And of it he shall offer one out of each oblation for a heave-offering unto Jehovah; it shall be the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offerings.

⁴ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, that which is upon the thighs, and the caul upon the liver with the kidneys, he shall take them away.

⁵ And the priest shall offer them on the altar a burnt-offering to the Lord; it is for trespass.

⁶ Every male of the priests shall eat them, in the holy place they shall eat them: they are most holy.

⁷ As the sin-offering, so also is the trespass-offering. There is one law of them; the priest who shall make atonement with it, his it shall be.

⁸ And as for the priest who offers a man's whole-burnt-offering, the skin of the whole-burnt-offering which he offers, shall be his.

⁹ And every sacrifice which shall be prepared in the oven, and every one which shall be prepared on the hearth, or on a frying-pan, it is the property of the priest that offers it; it shall be his.

¹⁰ And every sacrifice made up with oil, or not made up with oil, shall belong to the sons of Aaron, an equal portion to each.

¹¹ This is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which they shall bring to the Lord.

¹² If a man should offer it for praise, then shall he bring, for the sacrifice of praise, loaves of fine flour made up with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil, and fine flour kneaded with oil.

¹³ With leavened bread he shall offer his gifts, with the peace-offering of praise.

¹⁴ And he shall bring one of all his gifts, a separate offering to the Lord: it shall belong to the priest who pours forth the blood of the peace-offering.

⁴ And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:

⁸ And if he do at all eat of the flesh on the third day, it shall not be accepted for him that offers: it shall not be reckoned to him, it is pollution; and whatever soul shall eat of it, shall bear his iniquity.

⁹ And whatever flesh shall have touched any unclean thing, it shall not be eaten, it shall be consumed with fire; every one that is clean shall eat the flesh.

¹⁰ And whatever soul shall eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering which is the Lord's, and his uncleanness be upon him, that soul shall perish from his people.

¹¹ And whatever soul shall touch any unclean thing, either of the uncleanness of a man, or of unclean quadrupeds, or any unclean abominable thing, and shall eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering, which is the Lord's, that soul shall perish from his people.

¹² And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹³ Speak to the children of Israel, saying, You° shall eat no fat of oxen or sheep or goats.

¹⁴ And the fat of such animals as have died of themselves, or have been seized of beasts, may be employed for any work; but it shall not be eaten for food.

⁴ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away:

⁴ That includes the kidneys with their fat near the lower back muscle, and the protruding lobe that is attached to the liver.

⁵ The priest must burn them on the altar to be offerings to me, Yahweh. They are an offering for the people to be forgiven for not doing what they were required to do.

⁶ All the males in the priest's family are permitted to eat its meat, but it must be eaten in a sacred place, because it is very sacred.

⁷ The regulation is the same for the offerings to enable people to be forgiven for the sins they have committed and the offerings for when they are guilty of not giving to me the things that are required to be given to me. The meat of those offerings belongs to the priest who offers them in order that the people will be forgiven.

⁸ The priest who slaughters an animal that will be completely burned on the altar is permitted to keep the animal's hide for himself.

⁹ Offerings of things made from grain that are baked in an oven or cooked in a pan or ◄in a shallow pan/on a griddle► belong to the priest who makes those offerings for another person.

¹⁰ And offerings of things made from grain, whether they were mixed with olive oil or not, also belong to the sons of Aaron.”

¹¹ These are the regulations concerning the offerings that people make to maintain fellowship with Yahweh:

¹² “If you bring an offering to thank Yahweh, along with the animal that you slaughter you must offer loaves of bread made with olive oil mixed with the flour but without yeast, and wafers that are made without yeast but with olive oil smeared on them, and loaves made from fine flour with olive oil well mixed with the flour.

¹³ Along with that offering to thank Yahweh, you must bring an offering of loaves made with yeast.

¹⁴ You must bring one of each kind for an offering to Yahweh, but they belong to the priest who sprinkles against the altar the blood of the animal that is slaughtered as an offering to maintain fellowship with Yahweh.

⁴ And he shall bring one of all his gifts, a separate offering to the Lord: it shall belong to the priest who pours forth the blood of the peace-offering.

⁶ Every male among the priests may have it as food in a holy place: it is most holy.

⁷ As is the sin-offering, so is the offering for wrongdoing; there is one law for them: the priest who makes the offering to take away sin, he is to have it.

⁸ And the priest offering any man's burned offering for him, may have the skin of the burned offering which is offered by him.

⁹ And every meal offering which is cooked in the oven and everything made in a cooking pot or on a flat plate, is for the priest by whom it is offered.

¹⁰ And every meal offering, mixed with oil or dry, is for all the sons of Aaron in equal measure.

¹¹ And this is the law for the peace-offerings offered to the Lord.

¹² If any man gives his offering as a praise-offering, then let him give with the offering, unleavened cakes mixed with oil and thin unleavened cakes covered with oil and cakes of the best meal well mixed with oil.

¹³ With his peace-offering let him give cakes of leavened bread, as a praise-offering.

¹⁴ And let him give one out of every offering to be lifted up before the Lord; that it may be for the priest who puts the blood of the peace-offering on the altar.

⁴ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver, which he shall take away as far as the kidneys.

⁵ And the priest shall burn them on the altar, an offering by fire to Jehovah: it is a trespass-offering.

⁶ Every male among the priests shall eat thereof; in a holy place shall it be eaten: it is most holy.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which a man shall present to Jehovah.

¹² If he present it for a thanksgiving, then he shall present with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour saturated with oil, cakes mingled with oil.

¹³ Besides the cakes, he shall present his offering of leavened bread with the sacrifice of his peace-offering of thanksgiving.

¹⁴ And of it he shall present one out of the whole offering as a heave-offering to Jehovah; to the priest that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offering, to him it shall belong.

⁴ The two little kidneys, and the fat which is by the flanks, and the caul of the liver with the little kidneys.

⁵ And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the burnt sacrifice of the Lord for a trespass.

⁶ Every male of the priestly race, shall eat this flesh in a holy place, because it is most holy.

⁷ As the sacrifice for sin is offered, so is also that for a trespass: the same shall be the law of both these sacrifices: it shall belong to the priest that offereth it.

⁸ The priest that offereth the victim of holocaust, shall have the skin thereof.

⁹ And every sacrifice of flour that is baked in the oven, and whatsoever is dressed on the gridiron, or in the fryingpan, shall be the priest’s that offereth it:

¹⁰ Whether they be tempered with oil, or dry, all the sons of Aaron shall have one as much as another.

¹¹ This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings that is offered to the Lord.

¹² If the oblation be for thanksgiving, they shall offer leaves without leaven tempered with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour fried, and cakes tempered and mingled with oil:

¹³ Moreover leaves of leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanks, which is offered for peace offerings:

¹⁴ Of which one shall be offered to the Lord for firstfruits, and shall be the priest’s that shall pour out the blood of the victim.

⁴ both kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the best part of the liver, which the priest is to remove together with the kidneys.

⁵ He shall burn them on the altar as a food offering to the Lord; it is a guilt offering.

⁶ Any male among the priests may eat it. It must be eaten in a holy place, it is most holy.

⁷ The guilt offering is like the sin offering; the regulations are the same for both. The priest who presents the offering that ‘makes things right’ is to have it.

⁸ In the case of ordinary burnt offerings, the priest shall have the animal's skin.

⁹ In the same way all grain offerings that are baked in an oven or cooked in a pan or on a griddle is for the priest who presents it,

¹⁰ and all grain offerings, whether they mixed with olive oil or dry, are for all of Aaron descendants.

¹¹ These are the regulations for the peace offering that you may present to the Lord.

¹² If you offer it in a spirit of thanks, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, you must offer bread, wafers, and well-kneaded cakes of the best flour all made without yeast and mixed or coated with olive oil.

¹³ In addition your peace offering of thanksgiving of breads made without yeast, you shall present an offering of breads made with yeast.

¹⁴ Present one of each kind of bread of the offering as a contribution to the Lord. It is for the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.

⁴ After he shall take away the two kidneis, with the fat that is on them and vpon the flankes, and the kall on the liuer with the kidneis.

⁵ Then the Priest shall burne them vpon the altar, for an offring made by fire vnto the Lord: this is a trespasse offring.

⁶ All the males among the Priestes shall eate thereof, it shalbe eaten in the holy place, for it is most holy.

¹¹ Furthermore, this is the lawe of the peace offrings, which he shall offer vnto the Lord.

¹² If he offer it to giue thankes, then he shall offer for his thankes offering, vnleauened cakes mingled with oyle, and vnleauened wafers anointed with oyle, and fine floure fryed with the cakes mingled with oyle.

¹³ He shall offer also his offring with cakes of leauened bread, for his peace offrings, to giue thankes.

¹⁴ And of all the sacrifice he shall offer one cake for an heaue offering vnto the Lord, and it shalbe the Priestes that sprinckleth the blood of the peace offrings.

⁴ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the lobe above the liver, which he shall take away by the kidneys.

⁵ And the priest shall make them smoke upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the LORD; it is a guilt-offering.

⁶ Every male among the priests may eat thereof; it shall be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.

⁷ As is the sin-offering, so is the guilt-offering; there is one law for them; the priest that maketh atonement therewith, he shall have it.

⁴ And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is on the flanks, and the midriff above the liver, with the kidneys shall he remove the same:

⁷ As the sin-offering is, so is the trespass-offering; there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith, his shalt it be.

⁸ And the priest that offereth any man's burnt-offering,—the skin of the burnt-offering which he hath offered shall belong to this priest alone.

⁹ And every meat-offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is dressed in the deep pan, and in the flat pan, shall belong to the priest that offereth it alone.

¹⁰ And every meat-offering which is mingled with oil, or dry, shall belong to all the sons of Aaron, to one as much as the other.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which one may happen to offer unto the Lord.

¹² If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then shall he offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour, well sodden, made into cakes mingled with oil.

¹³ Together with cakes of leavened bread shall he bring his offering, with the sacrifice of his thanksgiving peace-offering.

¹⁴ And he shall offer thereof one out of every oblation for a heave-offering unto the Lord; to the priest that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offering—to him shall it belong.

¹² If a man should offer it for praise, then shall he bring, for the sacrifice of praise, loaves of fine flour made up with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil, and fine flour kneaded with oil.

¹⁰ And every mincha sprinkled with oil, and that which is not sprinkled, shall belong to all the sons of Aharon, to the one man as to his brother.

¹¹ And this is the law of the Sanctified Oblations which he shall offer before the Lord.

¹² If he present it as a thanksgiving, he shall offer as the sacrifice of the thanksgiving unleavened cakes sprinkled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and baken biscuits of flour sprinkled with oil.

¹³ With the cakes he may offer his oblation of leavened bread for his sanctified oblation of thanksgiving.

⁶ Every male among the priests may eat part of this offering. It must be eaten in a holy place because it is most holy.

⁷ The sin offering is like the guilt offering. The same law applies to both of them. They belong to the priest who makes atonement with them.

⁸ The priest who offers anyone's burnt offering may have for himself the hide of that offering.

⁹ Every grain offering that is baked in an oven, and every such offering that is cooked in a frying pan or in a baking pan will belong to the priest who offers it.

¹⁰ Every grain offering, either dry or mixed with oil, will belong equally to all the descendants of Aaron.

¹¹ This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which people will offer to Yahweh.

¹² If anyone offers it in order to give thanks, then he must offer it with a sacrifice of cakes made without yeast, but mixed with oil, of cakes made without yeast, but spread with oil, and of cakes made with fine flour that is mixed with oil.

¹³ Also for the purpose of giving thanks, he must offer with his peace offering cakes of bread made with yeast.

¹⁴ He is to offer one of each kind of these sacrifices as an offering presented to Yahweh. It will belong to the priests who sprinkle the blood of the peace offerings onto the altar.

¹² If the offering is for the doing of thankings, they shall offer loaves without sourdough sprinkled with oil, and thin therf cakes, that be anointed with oil; and they shall offer tried wheat flour baked, and little round loaves, sprinkled altogether with the meddling or mingling of oil.

¹³ Also they shall offer loaves dighted with sourdough, with the sacrifice of thankings which is offered for peace-able things;

¹⁴ of all one loaf shall be offered to the Lord for the first fruits, and it shall be the priest’s that shall pour the blood of the sacrifice,

⁴ the two little reins, and the fatness which is beside the ileum, and the caul of the maw, with the little reins.

¹⁴ of all one loaf shall be offered to the Lord for the first fruits, and it shall be the priest’s that shall pour the blood of the sacrifice, (and one part of every offering shall be offered to the Lord as a special contribution, and it shall be the priest’s who shall throw the blood of the sacrifice against all the sides of the altar,)

⁴ the twei litle reynes, and the fatnesse which is bisidis ilioun, and the calle of the mawe, with the litle reynes.

⁵ And the preest schal brenne tho on the auter; it is encense of the Lord, for trespas.

⁶ Ech male of the preestis kyn schal ete these fleischis in the hooli place, for it is hooli `of the noumbre of hooli thingis.

⁷ As a sacrifice is offrid for synne, so and for trespas, o lawe schal be of euer eithir sacrifice; it schal perteyne to the preest, that offrith it.

⁸ The preest that offrith the beeste of brent sacrifice, schal haue the skyn therof.

⁹ And ech sacrifice of wheete flour, which is bakun in an ouene, and what euer is maad redi in a gridile, ethir in a friyng panne, it schal be that preestis, of whom it is offrid,

¹⁰ whether it is spreynt with oile, ethir is drye. To alle the sones of Aaron euene mesure schal be departyd, `to ech `bi hem silf.

¹¹ This is the lawe of `the sacrifice of pesible thingis, which is offrid to the Lord.

¹² If the offryng is for doyng of thankyngis, thei schulen offre looues without sour dow spreynt with oile, and `therf looues sodun in watir, that ben anoyntid with oile; and thei schulen offre wheete flour bakun, and thinne looues spreynt to gidere with the medlyng of oile.

¹³ Also thei schulen offre `looues diyt with sour dow, with the sacrifice of thankyngis which is offrid for pesible thingis;

¹⁴ of whiche o loof schal be offrid to the Lord for the firste fruytis, and it schal be the preestis that schal schede the blood of the sacrifice,

¹¹ 'And this is a law of the sacrifice of the peace-offerings which one bringeth near to Jehovah:

¹² if for a thank-offering he bring it near, then he hath brought near with the sacrifice of thank-offering unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and thin unleavened cakes anointed with oil, and of fried flour cakes mixed with oil;

¹³ besides the cakes, fermented bread he doth bring near with his offering, besides the sacrifice of thank-offering of his peace-offerings;

¹⁴ and he hath brought near out of it one of the whole offering — a heave-offering to Jehovah; to the priest who is sprinkling the blood of the peace-offerings — it is his;
