Leviticus 7:11-17 in English

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which one shall offer unto Jehovah.

¹² If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour soaked.

¹³ With cakes of leavened bread he shall offer his oblation with the sacrifice of his peace-offerings for thanksgiving.

¹⁴ And of it he shall offer one out of each oblation for a heave-offering unto Jehovah; it shall be the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offerings.

¹⁵ And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his oblation; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his oblation be a vow, or a freewill-offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offereth his sacrifice; and on the morrow that which remaineth of it shall be eaten:

¹⁷ but that which remaineth of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

¹¹ This is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which they shall bring to the Lord.

¹² If a man should offer it for praise, then shall he bring, for the sacrifice of praise, loaves of fine flour made up with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil, and fine flour kneaded with oil.

¹³ With leavened bread he shall offer his gifts, with the peace-offering of praise.

¹⁴ And he shall bring one of all his gifts, a separate offering to the Lord: it shall belong to the priest who pours forth the blood of the peace-offering.

¹⁵ And the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering of praise shall be his, and it shall be eaten in the day in which it is offered: they shall not leave of it till the morning.

¹⁶ And if it be a vow, or he offer his gift of his own will, on whatsoever day he shall offer his sacrifice, it shall be eaten, and on the morrow.

¹⁷ And that which is left of the flesh of the sacrifice till the third day, shall be consumed with fire.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.

¹⁷ But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.

¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:

¹⁷ But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

¹¹ And whatever soul shall touch any unclean thing, either of the uncleanness of a man, or of unclean quadrupeds, or any unclean abominable thing, and shall eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering, which is the Lord's, that soul shall perish from his people.

¹² And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹³ Speak to the children of Israel, saying, You° shall eat no fat of oxen or sheep or goats.

¹⁴ And the fat of such animals as have died of themselves, or have been seized of beasts, may be employed for any work; but it shall not be eaten for food.

¹⁵ Every one that eats fat off the beasts, from which he will bring a burnt offering to the Lord—that soul shall perish from his people.

¹⁶ You° shall eat no blood in all your habitations, either of beasts or of birds.

¹⁷ Every soul that shall eat blood, that soul shall perish from his people.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one shall offer unto the LORD.

¹¹ These are the regulations concerning the offerings that people make to maintain fellowship with Yahweh:

¹² “If you bring an offering to thank Yahweh, along with the animal that you slaughter you must offer loaves of bread made with olive oil mixed with the flour but without yeast, and wafers that are made without yeast but with olive oil smeared on them, and loaves made from fine flour with olive oil well mixed with the flour.

¹³ Along with that offering to thank Yahweh, you must bring an offering of loaves made with yeast.

¹⁴ You must bring one of each kind for an offering to Yahweh, but they belong to the priest who sprinkles against the altar the blood of the animal that is slaughtered as an offering to maintain fellowship with Yahweh.

¹⁵ The meat of that offering must be eaten on the day that it is offered; none of it should be left to be eaten on the next day.

¹⁶ However, if your offering is the result of a solemn promise that you made to Yahweh, or if it is an offering that you make ◄voluntarily/without being required to►, you are permitted to eat some of the meat on the day it is offered, but anything that is left may be eaten on the next day.

¹⁷ But any meat that is left until the third day must be completely burned.

¹² If any man gives his offering as a praise-offering, then let him give with the offering, unleavened cakes mixed with oil and thin unleavened cakes covered with oil and cakes of the best meal well mixed with oil.

¹³ With his peace-offering let him give cakes of leavened bread, as a praise-offering.

¹⁴ And let him give one out of every offering to be lifted up before the Lord; that it may be for the priest who puts the blood of the peace-offering on the altar.

¹⁵ And the flesh of the praise-offering is to be taken as food on the day when it is offered; no part of it may be kept till the morning.

¹⁶ But if his offering is made because of an oath or given freely, it may be taken as food on the day when it is offered; and the rest may be used up on the day after:

¹⁷ But if any of the flesh of the offering is still unused on the third day, it is to be burned with fire.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which a man shall present to Jehovah.

¹² If he present it for a thanksgiving, then he shall present with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour saturated with oil, cakes mingled with oil.

¹³ Besides the cakes, he shall present his offering of leavened bread with the sacrifice of his peace-offering of thanksgiving.

¹⁴ And of it he shall present one out of the whole offering as a heave-offering to Jehovah; to the priest that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offering, to him it shall belong.

¹⁵ And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offering of thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is presented; he shall not let any of it remain until the morning.

¹⁶ And if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or voluntary, it shall be eaten the same day that he presented his sacrifice; on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten;

¹⁷ and the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.

¹¹ This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings that is offered to the Lord.

¹² If the oblation be for thanksgiving, they shall offer leaves without leaven tempered with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour fried, and cakes tempered and mingled with oil:

¹³ Moreover leaves of leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanks, which is offered for peace offerings:

¹⁴ Of which one shall be offered to the Lord for firstfruits, and shall be the priest’s that shall pour out the blood of the victim.

¹⁵ And the flesh of it shall be eaten the same day, neither shall any of it remain until the morning.

¹⁶ If any man by vow, or of his own accord offer a sacrifice, it shall in like manner be eaten the same day: and if any of it remain until the morrow, it is lawful to eat it:

¹⁷ But whatsoever shall be found on the third day shall be consumed with fire.

¹¹ These are the regulations for the peace offering that you may present to the Lord.

¹² If you offer it in a spirit of thanks, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, you must offer bread, wafers, and well-kneaded cakes of the best flour all made without yeast and mixed or coated with olive oil.

¹³ In addition your peace offering of thanksgiving of breads made without yeast, you shall present an offering of breads made with yeast.

¹⁴ Present one of each kind of bread of the offering as a contribution to the Lord. It is for the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.

¹⁵ The meat of the sacrifice of your peace offering of thanksgiving must be eaten the same day you offer it. Don't leave any of it until the morning.

¹⁶ If the sacrifice you're offering is to pay a vow or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day you present your sacrifice, but what's left can be eaten the next day.

¹⁷ However, any meat of the sacrifice still remaining on the third day must be burned.

¹¹ Furthermore, this is the lawe of the peace offrings, which he shall offer vnto the Lord.

¹² If he offer it to giue thankes, then he shall offer for his thankes offering, vnleauened cakes mingled with oyle, and vnleauened wafers anointed with oyle, and fine floure fryed with the cakes mingled with oyle.

¹³ He shall offer also his offring with cakes of leauened bread, for his peace offrings, to giue thankes.

¹⁴ And of all the sacrifice he shall offer one cake for an heaue offering vnto the Lord, and it shalbe the Priestes that sprinckleth the blood of the peace offrings.

¹⁵ Also the flesh of his peace offerings, for thankesgiuing, shalbe eaten the same day that it is offered: he shall leaue nothing thereof vntill the morning.

¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his offring be a vow, or a free offering, it shalbe eaten the same day that he offreth his sacrifice: and so in the morning the residue thereof shalbe eaten.

¹⁷ But as much of the offered flesh as remaineth vnto the third day, shalbe burnt with fire.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which one may offer unto the LORD.

¹² If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour soaked.

¹³ With cakes of leavened bread he shall present his offering with the sacrifice of his peace-offerings for thanksgiving.

¹⁴ And of it he shall present one out of each offering for a gift unto the LORD; it shall be the priest's that dasheth the blood of the peace-offerings against the altar.

¹⁵ And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a freewill-offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offereth his sacrifice; and on the morrow that which remaineth of it may be eaten.

¹⁷ But that which remaineth of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

¹³ Together with cakes of leavened bread shall he bring his offering, with the sacrifice of his thanksgiving peace-offering.

¹⁴ And he shall offer thereof one out of every oblation for a heave-offering unto the Lord; to the priest that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offering—to him shall it belong.

¹⁵ And the flesh of the sacrifice of his thanksgiving-peace-offering shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also shall what is left thereof be eaten.

¹⁷ But what is left of the flesh of the sacrifice, on the third day shall it be burnt with fire.

¹¹ This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offering, which they shall bring to the Lord.

¹² If he present it as a thanksgiving, he shall offer as the sacrifice of the thanksgiving unleavened cakes sprinkled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and baken biscuits of flour sprinkled with oil.

¹³ With the cakes he may offer his oblation of leavened bread for his sanctified oblation of thanksgiving.

¹⁴ And of it he shall offer one of all the separated oblatons before the Lord: (the remainder) shall belong to the priest who sprinkleth the blood of the sanctified oblations.

¹⁵ And the flesh of his consecrated thank-offering shall be eaten on the day that it is offered, none of it shall be covered over till the morning.

¹⁶ But if the offering of his oblation be a vow, or a voluntary gift, it may be eaten (partly) on the day that his sacrifice is offered, and that which remaineth of it may be eaten on the day after it,

¹⁷ But what remaineth of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.

¹¹ “‘This is the Torah ·Teaching· of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one shall offer to Adonai .

¹² If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mixed with oil.

¹³ With cakes of leavened bread he shall offer his offering with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving.

¹⁴ Of it he shall offer one out of each offering for a heave offering to Adonai . It shall be the priest’s who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.

¹⁵ The flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.

¹⁶ “‘But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or a free will offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice; and on the next day what remains of it shall be eaten:

¹⁷ but what remains of the meat of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.

¹¹ This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which people will offer to Yahweh.

¹² If anyone offers it in order to give thanks, then he must offer it with a sacrifice of cakes made without yeast, but mixed with oil, of cakes made without yeast, but spread with oil, and of cakes made with fine flour that is mixed with oil.

¹³ Also for the purpose of giving thanks, he must offer with his peace offering cakes of bread made with yeast.

¹⁴ He is to offer one of each kind of these sacrifices as an offering presented to Yahweh. It will belong to the priests who sprinkle the blood of the peace offerings onto the altar.

¹⁵ The person presenting a peace offering for the purpose of giving thanks must eat the meat of his offering on the day of the sacrifice. He must not leave any of it until the next morning.

¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his offering is for the purpose of a vow, or for the purpose of a freewill offering, the meat must be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice, but whatever remains of it may be eaten on the next day.

¹⁷ However, whatever meat of the sacrifice remains on the third day must be burned.

¹¹ “‘This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one shall offer to Yahweh:

¹² If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mixed with oil.

¹³ He shall offer his offering with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving with cakes of leavened bread.

¹⁴ Of it he shall offer one out of each offering for a heave offering to the LORD. It shall be the priest’s who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.

¹⁵ The flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.

¹⁶ “‘But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or a free will offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice. On the next day what remains of it shall be eaten,

¹⁷ but what remains of the meat of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.

¹¹ “‘This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one shall offer to the LORD:

¹² If the offering is for the doing of thankings, they shall offer loaves without sourdough sprinkled with oil, and thin therf cakes, that be anointed with oil; and they shall offer tried wheat flour baked, and little round loaves, sprinkled altogether with the meddling or mingling of oil.

¹³ Also they shall offer loaves dighted with sourdough, with the sacrifice of thankings which is offered for peace-able things;

¹⁴ of all one loaf shall be offered to the Lord for the first fruits, and it shall be the priest’s that shall pour the blood of the sacrifice,

¹⁵ whose flesh shall be eaten in the same day, neither anything of those shall dwell till the morrowtide.

¹⁶ If a man offereth a sacrifice by a vow, either by free will, it shall be eaten in like manner in the same day; but also if anything dwelleth into the morrow, it is leaveful to eat it;

¹⁷ soothly the fire shall waste what-ever thing the third day shall find.

¹¹ This is the law of the sacrifice of peaceable things, which is offered to the Lord. (And this is the law for the peace offerings which be offered to the Lord.)

¹² If the offering is for the doing of thankings, they shall offer loaves without sourdough sprinkled with oil, and thin therf cakes, that be anointed with oil; and they shall offer tried wheat flour baken, and little round loaves, sprinkled altogether with the meddling of oil. (If the offering is a thank offering, they shall offer bread made without yeast and sprinkled with oil, and thin unleavened wafers that be anointed with oil, and little round cakes of fine wheat flour, mixed with oil.)

¹³ Also they shall offer loaves dighted with sourdough, with the sacrifice of thankings which is offered for peaceable things; (And they shall offer loaves made with yeast, with the thank offering, which is a peace offering;)

¹⁴ of all one loaf shall be offered to the Lord for the first fruits, and it shall be the priest’s that shall pour the blood of the sacrifice, (and one part of every offering shall be offered to the Lord as a special contribution, and it shall be the priest’s who shall throw the blood of the sacrifice against all the sides of the altar,)

¹⁵ whose flesh shall be eaten in the same day (or whose flesh shall be eaten on the same day), neither anything of those shall dwell till the morrowtide.

¹⁶ If a man offereth a sacrifice by a vow, either by free will, it shall be eaten in like manner in the same day; but also if anything dwelleth into the morrow, it is leaveful to eat it; (If someone offereth an offering to fulfill a vow, or by free will, it shall be eaten in like manner on the same day; and if anything dwelleth into the next day, it is lawful to eat it;)

¹⁷ soothly the fire shall waste whatever thing the third day shall find.

¹¹ This is the lawe of `the sacrifice of pesible thingis, which is offrid to the Lord.

¹² If the offryng is for doyng of thankyngis, thei schulen offre looues without sour dow spreynt with oile, and `therf looues sodun in watir, that ben anoyntid with oile; and thei schulen offre wheete flour bakun, and thinne looues spreynt to gidere with the medlyng of oile.

¹³ Also thei schulen offre `looues diyt with sour dow, with the sacrifice of thankyngis which is offrid for pesible thingis;

¹⁴ of whiche o loof schal be offrid to the Lord for the firste fruytis, and it schal be the preestis that schal schede the blood of the sacrifice,

¹⁵ whose fleischis schulen be etun in the same dai, nether ony thing of tho schal dwelle til the morewtid.

¹⁶ If a man offrith a sacrifice bi a vow, ethir bi fre wille, it schal be etun in lijk maner in the same dai; but also if ony thing dwellith `in to the morew, it is leueful to ete it;

¹⁷ sotheli fier schal waaste, whateuer thing the thridde day schal fynde.

¹¹ 'And this is a law of the sacrifice of the peace-offerings which one bringeth near to Jehovah:

¹² if for a thank-offering he bring it near, then he hath brought near with the sacrifice of thank-offering unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and thin unleavened cakes anointed with oil, and of fried flour cakes mixed with oil;

¹³ besides the cakes, fermented bread he doth bring near with his offering, besides the sacrifice of thank-offering of his peace-offerings;

¹⁴ and he hath brought near out of it one of the whole offering — a heave-offering to Jehovah; to the priest who is sprinkling the blood of the peace-offerings — it is his;

¹⁵ as to the flesh of the sacrifice of the thank-offering of his peace-offerings, in the day of his offering it is eaten; he doth not leave of it till morning.

¹⁶ 'And if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow or free-will offering, in the day of his bringing near his sacrifice it is eaten; and on the morrow also the remnant of it is eaten;

¹⁷ and the remnant of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day with fire is burnt;
