Leviticus 27:15-20 in English

¹⁵ And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

¹⁶ And if a man shall sanctify unto Jehovah part of the field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the sowing thereof: the sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

¹⁷ If he sanctify his field from the year of jubilee, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

¹⁸ But if he sanctify his field after the jubilee, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain unto the year of jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from thy estimation.

¹⁹ And if he that sanctified the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

²⁰ And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more:

¹⁵ And if he that has sanctified it should redeem his house, he shall add to it the fifth part of the money of the valuation, and it shall be his.

¹⁶ And if a man should hallow to the Lord a part of the field of his possession, then the valuation shall be according to its seed, fifty didrachms of silver for a homer of barley.

¹⁷ And if he should sanctify his field from the year of release, it shall stand according to his valuation.

¹⁸ And if he should sanctify his field in the latter time after the release, the priest shall reckon to him the money for the remaining years, until the next year of release, and it shall be deducted as an equivalent from his full valuation.

¹⁹ And if he that sanctified the field would redeem it, he shall add to its value the fifth part of the money, and it shall be his.

²⁰ And if he do not redeem the field, but should sell the field to another man, he shall not after redeem it.

¹⁵ If the man who dedicated his house to me later wants to buy it back, he must pay that price plus an additonal 20 percent, and then the house will belong to him again.

¹⁶ If someone dedicates to me some of the property that belongs to him and his family, its value will be determined by the number of bushels of seed that will be needed to plant seeds on that land: Its value will be ten pieces of silver for each bushel of seed.

¹⁷ If he dedicates the land during the Year of Celebration, its full value will be that amount.

¹⁸ But if he dedicates the field after the Year of Celebration, the priest will count the number of years until the next Year of Celebration, and if there are not many years that remain, the price will be much lower than the full price.

¹⁹ If the person who dedicated the field later wants to buy it back, he must pay to the priest the price that the priest says it is worth, plus an added one-fifth, and then the field will belong to that man again.

²⁰ However, if he does not buy it back, or if it has been sold (OR, the priest has sold it) to someone else, that person will never be permitted to buy it back again.

¹⁵ And if the owner has a desire to get back his house, let him give a fifth more than your value, and it will be his.

¹⁶ And if a man gives to the Lord part of the field which is his property, then let your value be in relation to the seed which is planted in it; a measure of barley grain will be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

¹⁷ If he gives his field from the year of Jubilee, the value will be fixed by your decision.

¹⁸ But if he gives his field after the year of Jubilee, the amount of the money will be worked out by the priest in relation to the number of years till the coming year of Jubilee, and the necessary amount will be taken off your value.

¹⁹ And if the man who has given the field has a desire to get it back, let him give a fifth more than the price at which it was valued and it will be his.

²⁰ But if he has no desire to get it back, or if he has given it for a price to another man, it may not be got back again.

¹⁵ And if he that halloweth it will redeem his house, he shall add the fifth of the money of thy valuation unto it, and it shall be his.

¹⁶ And if a man hallow to Jehovah part of a field of his possession, thy valuation shall be according to what may be sown in it: the homer of barley seed at fifty shekels of silver.

¹⁷ If he hallow his field from the year of jubilee, according to thy valuation shall it stand;

¹⁸ but if he hallow his field after the jubilee, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, until the year of the jubilee; and there shall be a reduction from thy valuation.

¹⁹ And if he that hallowed the field will in any wise redeem it, he shall add the fifth of the money of thy valuation unto it, and it shall be assured to him;

²⁰ but if he do not redeem the field, or if he sell the field to another man, it cannot be redeemed any more;

¹⁵ But if he that vowed, will redeem it, he shall give the fifth part of the estimation over and above, and shall have the house.

¹⁶ And if he vow the field of his possession, and consecrate it to the Lord, the price shall be rated according to the measure of the seed. If the ground be sowed with thirty bushels of barley, let it be sold for fifty sides of silver.

¹⁷ If he vow his field immediately from the year of jubilee that is beginning, as much as it may be worth, at so much it shall be rated.

¹⁸ But if some time after, the priest shall reckon the money according to the number of years that remain until the jubilee, and the price shall be abated.

¹⁹ And if he that had vowed, will redeem his field, he shall add the fifth part of the money of the estimation, and shall possess it.

²⁰ And if he will not redeem it, but it be sold to any other man, he that vowed it, may not redeem it any more:

¹⁵ But if you want to buy back your house, you have to add one fifth to its value in payment. Then it will belong to you again.

¹⁶ If you dedicate some of your land to the Lord, then its value shall be determined by the amount of seed required to sow it: fifty shekels of silver for every homer of barley seed used.

¹⁷ If you dedicate your field during the Jubilee Year, the value will be the full amount calculated.

¹⁸ But if you dedicate your field after the Jubilee, the priest will work out the value depending on the number of years left until the next Jubilee Year, so reducing the value.

¹⁹ But if you want to buy your field back, you have to add one fifth to its value in payment. Then it will belong to you again.

²⁰ But if you don't buy the field back, or if you've already sold it to someone else, it can't ever be bought back.

¹⁵ But if he that sanctified it, will redeeme his house, then hee shall giue thereto the fift part of money more then thy estimation, and it shalbe his.

¹⁶ If also a man dedicate to the Lord any grounde of his inheritance, then shalt thou esteeme it according to the seede therof: an Homer of barlie seede shalbe at fiftie shekels of siluer.

¹⁷ If he dedicate his field immediatly from the yeere of Iubile, it shall bee worth as thou doest esteeme it.

¹⁸ But if hee dedicate his fielde after the Iubile, then the Priest shall recken him the money according to ye yeeres that remaine vnto the yere of Iubile, and it shalbe abated by thy estimation.

¹⁹ And if he that dedicateth it, will redeeme the fielde, then he shall put the fift parte of the price, that thou esteemedst it at, thereunto, and it shall remaine his.

²⁰ And if he will not redeeme the fielde, but the Priest sell the fielde to another man, it shalbe redeemed no more.

¹⁷ If immediately after the year of the jubilee he sanctify his field, according to this estimation shall it stand.

¹⁸ But if after the jubilee he sanctify his field, then shall the priest reckon unto him the money in proportion to the years that remain, until the year of the jubilee, and it shall be deducted from the estimation.

¹⁹ And if he that sanctified the field will redeem it, then shall he add the fifth part of the money of the estimated value unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

²⁰ But if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

¹⁷ If he consecrate his field from the year of Jubilee, it shall stand according to its value.

¹⁸ But if he consecrate his field after the year of Jubilee, the priest shall reckon the money with him according to the years which remain until the (next) year of Jubilee, and it shall be abated from the valuation.

¹⁹ But if he will redeem the field that he had consecrated, let him add to it a fifth of its valuated price, and it shall be confirmed to him.

²⁰ But if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more:

¹⁵ If he who dedicates it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall be his. (RY:7, LY:5)

¹⁶ “‘If a man dedicates to Adonai part of the field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to the seed for it. The sowing of a homer 6.33 bushels; 59 gal; 220 L of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg of silver.

¹⁷ If he dedicates his field from the Jubilee Year ·Shofar Year·, according to your valuation it shall stand.

¹⁸ But if he dedicates his field after the Jubilee, then the priest shall reckon to him the money according to the years that remain to the Jubilee Year ·Shofar Year·; and an abatement shall be made from your valuation.

¹⁹ If he who dedicated the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall remain his.

²⁰ If he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more;

¹⁵ But if the owner who set apart his home wishes to redeem it, he must add a fifth of its value to its redemption price, and it will belong to him.

¹⁶ If a man sets apart some of his own land, then the valuation of it will be in proportion to the amount of seed required to plant it—a homer of barley will be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

¹⁷ If he sets apart his field during the year of Jubilee, the valuation of it will stand.

¹⁸ But if he sets apart his field after the year of Jubilee, then the priest must calculate the value of the field by the number of years that remain until the next year of Jubilee, and the valuation of it must be reduced.

¹⁹ If the man who set apart the field wishes to redeem it, then he must add a fifth to the valuation, and it will belong to him.

²⁰ If he does not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it cannot be redeemed any more.

¹⁵ If he who dedicates it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall be his.

¹⁶ That if a man avoweth the field of his possession, and halloweth it to the Lord, the price shall be deemed by the measure of the seed; if the field is sown with thirty bushels of barley, it shall be sold for fifty shekels of silver.

¹⁷ If he avoweth the field anon from the year of the beginning of the jubilee, as much as it may be worth, by so much it shall be appraised;

¹⁸ but if it be after some part of time, the priest shall reckon, either determine, the money by the number of the years that be left till to the jubilee, and it shall be withdrawn of the price.

¹⁹ That if he that avowed will again-buy the field, he shall add the fifth part of the money that is appraised, and he shall wield it;

²⁰ but if he will not again-buy it, but it is sold to any other man, he that avowed it shall never be able to again-buy it;

¹⁵ soothly if he that avowed will again-buy it, he shall give the fifth part of the value above, and he shall have the house. (and if he who vowed it will buy it back, he shall add the fifth part above its value, and then he shall have the house.)

¹⁶ That if a man avoweth the field of his possession, and halloweth it to the Lord, the price shall be deemed by the measure of the seed, (or And if a man voweth the field of his possession, and dedicateth it to the Lord, its value shall be determined by the measure of its seed); if the field is sown with thirty bushels of barley, it shall be sold for fifty shekels of silver.

¹⁷ If he avoweth the field anon from the year of the beginning of the jubilee, as much as it may be worth, by so much it shall be appraised; (If he voweth the field from the beginning of the Jubilee Year, it shall be worth as much as it shall be appraised for;)

¹⁸ but if it be after some part of time, the priest shall reckon, either determine, the money by the number of the years that be left till to the jubilee, and it shall be withdrawn of the price. (but if it be after some time, the priest shall determine its value by the number of years that be left until the Jubilee, and that shall be deducted from the price.)

¹⁹ That if he that avowed will again-buy the field, he shall add the fifth part of the money that (it) is appraised (for), and he shall wield it; (And if he, who vowed the field, will buy it back, he shall add a fifth part to the value that it is appraised for, and then it shall be his;)

²⁰ but if he will not again-buy it, but it is sold to any other man, he that avowed it shall never be able to again-buy it; (but if he will not buy it back, and it is sold to another man, then he who vowed it shall never be able to buy it back;)

¹⁵ sotheli if he that avowide wole ayen-bie it, he schal yyue the fifthe part of the valu aboue, and he schal haue the hows.

¹⁶ That if he avowith the feeld of his possessioun, and halewith to the Lord, the prijs schal be demed bi the mesure of seed; if the feeld is sowun with thritti buyschels of barli, it schal be seeld for fifti siclys of siluer.

¹⁷ If he auowith the feeld anoon for the yeer of the iubilee bigynnynge, as myche as it may be worth, bi so myche it schal be preisid;

¹⁸ but if it be after `sum part of tyme, the preest schal rykene the money bi the noumbre of yeeris that ben residue `til to the iubilee, and it schal be withdrawun of the prijs.

¹⁹ That if he that avowide wole ayenbie the feeld, he schal adde the fyuethe part of the money preisid, and he schal welde it;

²⁰ but if he nyle ayenbie, but it is seeld to ony othir man, he that avowide schal `no more mowe ayenbie it;

¹⁵ and if he who is sanctifying doth redeem his house, then he hath added a fifth of the money of thy valuation to it, and it hath become his.

¹⁶ 'And if of the field of his possession a man sanctify to Jehovah, then hath thy valuation been according to its seed; a homer of barley-seed at fifty shekels of silver;

¹⁷ if from the year of the jubilee he sanctify his field, according to thy valuation it standeth;

¹⁸ and if after the jubilee he sanctify his field, then hath the priest reckoned to him the money according to the years which are left, unto the year of the jubilee, and it hath been abated from thy valuation.

¹⁹ 'And if he really redeem the field — he who is sanctifying it — then he hath added a fifth of the money of thy valuation to it, and it hath been established to him;

²⁰ and if he do not redeem the field, or if he hath sold the field to another man, it is not redeemed any more;
