Leviticus 25:16-17 in English

¹⁶ According to the multitude of the years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of the years thou shalt diminish the price of it; for the number of the crops doth he sell unto thee.

¹⁷ And ye shall not wrong one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am Jehovah your God.

¹⁶ According as there may be a greater number of years he shall increase the value of his possession, and according as there may be a less number of years he shall lessen the value of his possession; for according to the number of his crops, so shall he sell to thee.

¹⁷ Let not a man oppress his neighbour, and thou shalt fear the Lord thy God: I am the Lord thy God.

You could say that what he is really selling you is the number of crops which you can harvest before the next Year of Celebration.

¹⁷ Nyle ye turment men of youre lynagis, but ech man drede his God; for Y am youre Lord God.
