¹³ And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁵ And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁶ And he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the sojourner, as the home-born, when he blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, shall be put to death.

¹⁷ And he that smiteth any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

¹⁸ And he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁹ And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbor; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:

²⁰ breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be rendered unto him.

²¹ And he that killeth a beast shall make it good: and he that killeth a man shall be put to death.

²² Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the sojourner, as for the home-born: for I am Jehovah your God.

¹³ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁷ And whosoever shall smite a man and he die, let him die the death.

¹⁸ And whosoever shall smite a beast, and it shall die, let him render life for life.

¹⁹ And whosoever shall inflict a blemish on his neighbour, as he has done to him, so shall it be done to himself in return;

²⁰ bruise for bruise, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as any one may inflict a blemish on a man, so shall it be rendered to him.

²¹ Whosoever shall smite a man, and he shall die, let him die the death.

²² There shall be one judgment for the stranger and the native, for I am the Lord your God.

¹³ Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,

¹⁴ “ Tie up and take outside the camp the man who has cursed me. There all those who heard what he said must put their hands on his head to indicate that he is guilty, and then all the people must kill him by throwing stones at him.

¹⁵ Tell the Israelis, ‘If anyone curses me, he must ◄endure the consequences/be punished►.

¹⁶ So anyone who curses me MTY must be executed. All the people must throw stones at him. It does not matter if he is a foreigner or an Israeli citizen; anyone who curses me must be executed.’

¹⁷ Also, If anyone murders another person, he must be executed.

¹⁸ And anyone who kills another person's animal must give that person a live animal to replace the one that he killed.

¹⁹ And if one person injures another person, the injured person is allowed to injure the person who injured him in the same way:

²⁰ If someone breaks one of another person's bones, that person is allowed to break one of the bones of the person who injured him. If someone gouges out an eye of another person, that person is allowed to gouge out the eye of the person who injured him. If someone knocks out the tooth of another person, that person is allowed to knock out one of his teeth. What is done to the offender must be the same as what he did to the other person.

²¹ Whoever kills another person's animal must give that person a live animal to replace the one that he killed, but anyone who murders another person must be executed.

²² That law applies to you Israelis and and also to the foreigners who live among you; I, Yahweh your God am the one who has commanded it.”

²⁰ fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. It shall be done to him as he has injured someone.

²¹ He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.

²² You shall have one kind of law for the foreigner as well as the native-born; for I am Yahweh your God.’”

¹³ And the Lord said to Moses,

¹⁴ Take the curser outside the tent-circle; and let all in whose hearing the words were said put their hands on his head, and let him be stoned by all the people.

¹⁵ And say to the children of Israel, As for any man cursing God, his sin will be on his head.

¹⁶ And he who says evil against the name of the Lord will certainly be put to death; he will be stoned by all the people; the man who is not of your nation and one who is an Israelite by birth, whoever says evil against the holy Name is to be put to death.

¹⁷ And anyone who takes another's life is certainly to be put to death.

¹⁸ And anyone wounding a beast and causing its death, will have to make payment for it: a life for a life.

¹⁹ And if a man does damage to his neighbour, as he has done, so let it be done to him;

²⁰ Wound for wound, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; whatever damage he has done, so let it be done to him.

²¹ He who puts a beast to death will have to make payment for it; he who puts a man to death will himself be put to death.

²² You are to have the same law for a man of another nation living among you as for an Israelite; for I am the Lord your God.

¹³ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Lead the reviler outside the camp; and all that heard him shall lay their hands upon his head, and the whole assembly shall stone him.

¹⁵ And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Every one when he revileth his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁶ And he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah shall certainly be put to death; all the assembly shall certainly stone him; as well the stranger as he that is home-born, when he blasphemeth the Name, shall be put to death.

¹⁷ And if any one smiteth any man mortally, he shall certainly be put to death.

¹⁸ And he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁹ And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour, as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;

²⁰ breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him.

²¹ He that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good; and he that smiteth a man mortally shall be put to death.

²² Ye shall have one law: as the stranger, so the home-born; for I am Jehovah your God.

¹³ And the Lord spoke to Moses,

¹⁴ Saying: Bring forth the blasphemer without the camp, and let them that heard him, put their hands upon his head, and let all the people stone him.

¹⁵ And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel: the man that curseth his God, shall bear his sin:

¹⁶ And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die: all the multitude shall stone him, whether he be a native or a stranger. He that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die.

¹⁷ He that striketh and killeth a man, dying let him die.

¹⁸ He that killeth a beast, shall make it good, that is to say, shall give beast for beast.

¹⁹ He that giveth a blemish to any of his neighbours: as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:

²⁰ Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, shall he restore. What blemish he gave, the like shall he be compelled to suffer.

²¹ He that striketh a beast, shall render another. He that striketh a man shall be punished.

²² Let there be equal judgment among you, whether he be a stranger, or a native that offends: because I am the Lord your God.

¹³ The Lord told Moses,

¹⁴ “Take the man who cursed me outside the camp. Have all who heard him curse put their hands on his head; then have everyone stone him to death.

¹⁵ Tell the Israelites that anyone who curses their God will be punished for their sin.

¹⁶ Anyone who curses the name of the Lord must to be executed. All of you must stone them to death, whether they are a foreigner who lives with you or an Israelite. If they curse my name, they must be executed.

¹⁷ Anyone who kills someone else must be executed.

¹⁸ Anyone who kills an animal has to replace it—a life for a life.

¹⁹ If anyone injures someone else, whatever they've done must be done to them:

²⁰ a broken bone for a broken bone, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Whatever way they injured the victim, the same must be done to them.

²¹ Anyone who kills an animal has to replace it, but anyone who kills someone else must be executed.

²² The same laws apply to foreigners who live with you as to Israelites, for I am the Lord your God.”

¹³ Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring the blasphemer without the hoste, and let all that heard him, put their handes vpon his head, and let all the Congregation stone him.

¹⁵ And thou shalt speake vnto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoeuer curseth his God, shall beare his sinne.

¹⁶ And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shalbe put to death: all the Congregation shall stone him to death: aswell the stranger, as he that is borne in the lande: when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, let him beslaine.

¹⁷ He also that killeth any man, he shall be put to death.

¹⁸ And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it, beast for beast.

¹⁹ Also if a man cause any blemish in his neighbour: as he hath done, so shall it be done to him.

²⁰ Breache for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: such a blemish as he hath made in any, such shalbe repayed to him.

²¹ And he that killeth a beast shall restore it: but he that killeth a man shall be slaine.

²² Ye shall haue one lawe: it shalbe aswel for the stranger as for one borne in the countrey: for I am the Lord your God.

¹⁶ But he that pronounced the name of the Lord with blasphemy shall be put to death, all the congregation shall stone him; be he a stranger, or be he one that is born in the land, when he pronounceth the holy Name with blasphemy, he shall be put to death.

¹⁷ And he that taketh the life of any man shall surely be put to death.

¹⁸ And he that taketh the life of a beast shall make it good: beast for beast.

¹⁹ And if a man cause a bodily defect in his neighbor, as he hath done, so shall be done to him;

²⁰ Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: in the manner as he hath caused a bodily defect in a man, so shall it be done to him.

²¹ And he that killeth a beast, shall make restitution for it; and he that killeth a man, shall be put to death.

²² One manner of judicial law shall ye have, the stranger shall be equal with one of your own country; for I am the Lord your God.

¹³ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring forth him who hath imprecated without the camp, and let all who heard lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁵ And speak thou with the sons of Israel, saying: Whatever man imprecateth before his God shall bear his guilt,

¹⁶ And be who (so) expresseth the Name of the Lord, dying shall die, and all the congregation shall stone him, as well the stranger as the native-born; when he hath made (blasphemous) expression of the Name, he shall be put to death.

¹⁷ And the man who killeth any soul of man shall die, being put to death.

¹⁸ And he who killeth the life of a beast shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁹ And if a man inflict a blemish on his neighbour, as he hath done, so it shall be done to him:

²⁰ Bruise for bruise, eye for eye, tooth for tooth as he hath inflicted a blemish upon a man, it shall be done to him.

²¹ And he who killeth a beast shall make it good; but he who killeth a man shall be pat to death.

²² One judgment shall you have, for the stranger as for the native-born shall it be; for I am the Lord your God.

¹³ Adonai spoke to Moses Drawn out, saying,

¹⁴ “Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who sh'ma ·heard obeyed· him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁵ You shall speak to the children of Israel God prevails, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁶ He who blasphemes Adonai ’s name, he shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

¹⁷ “‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

¹⁸ He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁹ If anyone injures his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him:

²⁰ fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has injured someone, so shall it be done to him. (Maftir ·Conclusion·)

¹³ Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ “Take the man who has cursed God outside the camp. All who heard him must lay their hands on his head, and then the entire assembly must stone him.

¹⁵ You must explain to the people of Israel and say, 'Whoever curses his God must carry his own guilt.

¹⁶ He who blasphemes the name of Yahweh must surely be put to death. All the assembly must certainly stone him, whether he is a foreigner or a native-born Israelite. If anyone blasphemes the name of Yahweh, he must be put to death.

¹⁷ If anyone strikes down another human being, he must certainly be put to death.

¹⁸ If anyone strikes down someone's animal, he must pay it back, life for life.

¹⁹ If anyone injures his neighbor, it must be done to him as he did to his neighbor:

²⁰ fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he has caused an injury to a person, so must it also be done to him.

²¹ Anyone who kills an animal must pay it back, and anyone who kills a person must be put to death.

²² You must have the same law for both the foreigner and the native-born Israelite, for I am Yahweh your God.'”

¹⁶ He who blasphemes the LORD’s name, he shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native-born shall be put to death when he blasphemes the Name.

¹⁷ “‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

¹⁸ He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁹ If anyone injures his neighbour, it shall be done to him as he has done:

²⁰ fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. It shall be done to him as he has injured someone.

²¹ He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.

²² You shall have one kind of law for the foreigner as well as the native-born; for I am the LORD your God.’”

¹³ And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴ Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁵ And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel, saying, Whoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁶ And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD , shall be put to death.

¹⁷ And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.

¹⁸ And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.

¹⁹ And if a man shall cause a blemish in his neighbor; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;

²⁰ Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him.

²¹ And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.

²² Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.

¹⁶ and he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, die he by death; all the multitude of the people shall oppress him with stones; whether he that blasphemed the name of the Lord is a citizen, or a pilgrim, die he by death.

¹⁷ He that smiteth and slayeth a man, die he by death;

¹⁸ he that smiteth a beast, yield one in his stead, that is, life for life.

¹⁹ If a man giveth a wem to any of his citizens, as he did, so be it done to him;

²⁰ he shall restore breaking for breaking, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; what manner wem he gave, he shall be compelled to suffer such a wem.

²¹ He that smiteth a work beast, yield he another; he that smiteth a man, shall die.

²² Even doom be among you, whether a pilgrim either a citizen sinneth, for I am your Lord God.

¹³ And the Lord spake to Moses, and said,

²¹ He that smiteth a work beast, yield he another; he that smiteth a man, shall die. (He who striketh down a work beast, give he another in its place; he who striketh down a man, shall be put to death.)

²² Even doom be among you, whether a pilgrim either a citizen sinneth, for I am your Lord God. (Let equal justice be among you, whether a foreigner or a fellow citizen sinneth, for I am the Lord your God.)

¹³ And the Lord spak to Moises and seide,

¹⁴ Lede out the blasfemere without the castels, and alle men that herden, sette her hondis on his heed, and al the puple stone hym.

¹⁵ And thou schalt speke to the sones of Israel, A man that cursith his God,

¹⁶ schal bere his synne, and he that blasfemeth the name of the Lord, die bi deeth; al the multitude of the puple schal oppresse hym with stoonus, whether he that blasfemede the name of the Lord is a citeseyn, whether a pilgrym, die he bi deeth.

¹⁷ He that smytith and sleeth a man, die bi deeth;

¹⁸ he that smytith a beeste, yelde oon in his stide, that is, lijf for lijf.

¹⁹ If a man yyueth a wem to ony of hise citeseyns, as he dide, so be it don to him;

²⁰ he schal restore brekyng for brekyng, iye for iye, tooth for tooth; what maner wem he yaf, he schal be compellid to suffre sich a wem.

²¹ He that smytith werk beeste, yeelde another; he that smytith a man, schal be punyschid.

²² Euene doom be among you, whether a pilgrym ethir a citeseyn synneth, for Y am youre Lord God.

¹³ And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹⁴ 'Bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the company have stoned him.

¹⁵ 'And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, When any man revileth his God — then he hath borne his sin;

¹⁶ and he who is execrating the name of Jehovah is certainly put to death; all the company do certainly cast stones at him; as a sojourner so a native, in his execrating the Name, is put to death.

¹⁷ 'And when a man smiteth any soul of man, he is certainly put to death.

¹⁸ 'And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, body for body.

¹⁹ 'And when a man putteth a blemish in his fellow, as he hath done so it is done to him;

²⁰ breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he putteth a blemish in a man so it is done in him.

²¹ 'And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, and he who smiteth the life of man is put to death;

²² one judgment is to you; as a sojourner so is a native; for I am Jehovah your God.'
