Leviticus 21:18-20 in English

¹⁸ For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or anything superfluous,

¹⁹ or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,

²⁰ or crook-backed, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or is scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

¹⁸ No man who has a blemish on him shall draw nigh; a man lame, blind, with his nose disfigured, or his ears cut,

¹⁹ a man who has a broken hand or a broken foot,

²⁰ or hump-backed, or blear-eyed, or that has lost his eye-lashes, or a man who has a malignant ulcer, or tetter, or one that has lost a testicle.

¹⁸ For whatever man he is that has a defect, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity,

¹⁹ or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand,

²⁰ or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles.

¹⁸ For any man whose body is damaged may not come near: one who is blind, or has not the use of his legs, or one who has a broken nose or any unnatural growth,

¹⁹ Or a man with broken feet or hands,

²⁰ Or one whose back is bent, or one who is unnaturally small, or one who has a damaged eye, or whose skin is diseased, or whose sex parts are damaged;

¹⁸ for whatever man hath a defect, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or one limb longer than the other,

¹⁹ or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,

²⁰ or hump-backed, or withered, or that hath a spot in his eye, or hath the itch, or scabs, or his testicles broken.

¹⁸ Neither shall he approach to minister to him: If he be blind, if he be lame, if he have a little, or a great, or a crooked nose,

¹⁹ If his foot, or if his hand be broken,

²⁰ If he be crookbacked, or blear eyed, or have a pearl in his eye, or a continual scab, or a dry scurf in his body, or a rupture:

¹⁸ No man is allowed to do this if he has any defects, including anyone who is blind, crippled, facially disfigured, or has deformities,

¹⁹ anyone who has a broken foot or arm,

²⁰ anyone who is a hunchback or dwarf, or who has cataracts, skin sores or scabs, or a damaged testicle.

¹⁸ For whosoeuer hath any blemish, shall not come neere: as a man blinde or lame, or that hath a flat nose, or that hath any misshapen member,

¹⁹ Or a man that hath a broken foote, or a broken hande,

²⁰ Or is crooke backt, or bleare eyed, or hath a blemish in his eye, or be skiruie, or skabbed, or haue his stones broken.

¹⁸ For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath any thing maimed, or anything too long,

¹⁹ or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,

²⁰ or crook-backed, or a dwarf, or that hath his eye overspread, or is scabbed, or scurvy, or hath his stones crushed;

¹⁸ For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

¹⁹ or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,

²⁰ or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

¹⁸ For whatsoever man it be on whom there is a blemish, shall not approach: a blind, or a lame man, or one that hath a flattened nose, or a man one of whose limbs is too long,

¹⁹ Or a man who hath a broken foot, or a broken hand,

²⁰ Or a crookbacked, or a dwarf, or one that hath a blemish in his eye, or the itch, or the scurvy, or the testicles broken.

¹⁸ No man who has a blemish on him shall draw nigh; a man lame, blind, with his nose disfigured, or his ears cut,

¹⁹ a man who has a broken hand or a broken foot,

²⁰ or humpbacked, or bleary-eyed, or that has lost his eyelashes, or a man who has a malignant ulcer, or tetter, or one that has lost a testicle.

¹⁸ For no man in whom is a blemish may come nigh; a blind man, or lame, or flat nosed, or disproportioned;

¹⁹ Or a man who hath a broken foot, or a broken hand,

²⁰ or who is crookbacked, or dwarfish, or who hath a white spot in his eye, or the scurvy, or ringworm, or who hath ruptured testicles.

¹⁸ For whatever man he is that has a defect, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity,

¹⁹ or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand,

²⁰ or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles.

¹⁸ Any man who has a bodily defect must not approach Yahweh, such as a blind man or a man who is unable to walk, one who is disfigured or deformed,

¹⁹ a man with a crippled hand or foot,

²⁰ a man who has a hump in his back or is abnormally thin or short, or a man with a defect in his eyes, or with a disease, sore, scabs, or whose testicles have been crushed.

¹⁸ For whatever man he is that has a defect, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity,

¹⁹ or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand,

²⁰ or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles.

²⁰ or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles.

¹⁸ neither shall nigh to his service; if he is blind; if he is crooked; if he is either of little, either of great, or wrong nose;

¹⁹ if he is of broken foot, either hand;

²⁰ if he hath a botch, or a bulge, on his back; either if he is bleary-eyed; if he hath white colour, or a pearl, in his eye, that hindereth his sight; if he hath continual scab; if he hath a dry scab in his body; either if he be bruised in privy members.

¹⁸ neither shall nigh to his service; (nor), if he is blind; if he is crooked; if he is either of little, either of great, or wrong nose; (nor shall he come to do his service; nor, as well, if he is blind, or lame; or too small, or too big;)

¹⁹ if he is of broken foot, either hand; (if he hath a crippled, or deformed, hand or foot;)

²⁰ if he hath a botch, or a bulge, on his back; either if he is bleary-eyed; if he hath white colour, or a pearl, in his eye, that hindereth his sight; if he hath (a) continual scab; if he hath a dry scab in his body (or if he hath a dry scab on his body); either if he be bruised in (the) privy members.

¹⁸ nethir schal neiy to his seruyce;

¹⁹ if he is blind; if he is crokid; if he is ether of litil, ether of greet, and wrong nose; if he is `of brokun foot, ethir hond;

²⁰ if he hath a botche; ether if he is blereiyed; if he hath whijt colour in the iye, that lettith the siyt; if he hath contynuel scabbe; if he hath a drye scabbe in the bodi; ethir `is brokun `in the pryuy membris.

¹⁸ for no man in whom is blemish doth draw near — a man blind, or lame or dwarfed, or enlarged,

¹⁹ or a man in whom there is a breach in the foot, or a breach in the hand,

²⁰ or hump-backed, or a dwarf, or with a mixture in his eye, or a scurvy person, or scabbed, or broken-testicled.
