²⁰ And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he hath uncovered his uncle’s nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

²¹ And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is impurity: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.

²² Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all mine ordinances, and do them; that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, vomit you not out.

²³ And ye shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

²⁴ But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey: I am Jehovah your God, who hath separated you from the peoples.

²⁵ Ye shall therefore make a distinction between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by bird, or by anything wherewith the ground teemeth, which I have separated from you as unclean.

²⁶ And ye shall be holy unto me: for I, Jehovah, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that ye should be mine.

²⁷ A man also or a woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them.

²⁰ If a man has sex EUP with his aunt, he has dishonored his uncle. I will punish both of them by causing them to die without having any children.

²¹ If a man marries his brother's wife while his brother is still living, that is disgraceful. He has dishonored his brother; and they both will die without having any children.

²² Obey all my laws/decrees DOU carefully, in order that you will not be forced to leave MET the land to which I am bringing you.

²³ Do not imitate/adopt the customs of the people of the land from which I will expel them as you advance. I hated them because they did all those things.

²⁴ But I said to you, “You will take their land from them; I will give it to you to be yours, a land that is very fertile IDM. I am Yahweh your God, who has set you apart from the people of other nations.”

²⁵ So you must distinguish between birds and animals that are unacceptable to me and those that are acceptable to me. Do not defile yourselves by eating birds or animals, or anything that crawls along on the ground, that I have said are unacceptable for you.

²⁶ You must behave in ways that I consider to be holy, because I, Yahweh, am holy, and I have set you apart from the ungodly people of other nations to belong to me.

²⁷ You must execute any man or woman among you who ◄consults/talks with► the spirits of dead people or who is a fortune-teller. Kill them by throwing stones at them; but they will be responsible for their own deaths.’”

²² So then, keep my rules and my decisions and do them, so that the land which I am giving you as your resting-place may not violently send you out again.

²³ And do not keep the rules of the nations which I am driving out before you; for they did all these things, and for that reason my soul was turned against them.

²⁴ But I have said to you, You will take their land and I will give it to you for your heritage, a land flowing with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God who have made you separate from all other peoples.

²⁵ So then, make division between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the clean bird and the unclean: do not make yourselves disgusting by any beast or bird or anything which goes flat on the earth, which has been marked by me as unclean for you.

²⁶ And you are to be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy and have made you separate from the nations, so that you may be my people.

²⁷ Any man or woman who makes use of spirits, or who is a wonder-worker, is to be put to death: they are to be stoned with stones: their blood will be on them.

²⁰ And if a man lie with his aunt, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: their sin shall they bear: they shall die childless.

²¹ And if a man take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness: they shall be childless.

²² And ye shall observe all my statutes, and all mine ordinances, and do them, that the land whither I bring you to dwell therein vomit you not out.

²³ And ye shall not walk in the customs of the nation which I am casting out before you; for all these things have they done, and they became an abomination to me.

²⁴ And I have said unto you, Ye shall possess their land, and I will give it unto you for a possession; a land flowing with milk and honey: I am Jehovah your God, who have separated you from the peoples.

²⁵ And ye shall make a separation between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean, and ye shall not make yourselves an abomination by beast, or by fowl, or by anything that creepeth on the ground which I have separated for you, declaring it as unclean.

²⁶ And ye shall be holy unto me; for I Jehovah am holy, and have separated you from the peoples to be mine.

²⁷ And if there be a man or a woman in whom is a spirit of Python or of divination, they shall certainly be put to death: they shall stone them with stones; their blood is upon them.

²⁰ If any mall lie with the wife of his uncle by the father, or of his uncle by the mother, and uncover the shame of his near akin, both shall bear their sin: they shall die without children.

²¹ He that marrieth his brother’s wife, doth an unlawful thing, he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness: they shall be without children.

²² Keep my laws and my judgments, and do them: lest the land into which you are to enter to dwell therein, vomit you also out.

²³ Walk not after the laws of the nations, which I will cast out before you. For they have done all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

²⁴ But to you I say: Possess their land which I will give you for an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the Lord your God, who have separated you from other people.

²⁵ Therefore do you also separate the clean beast from the unclean, and the clean fowl from the unclean: defile not your souls with beasts, or birds, or any things that move on the earth, and which I have shewn you to be unclean.

²⁶ You shall be holy unto me, because I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from other people, that you should be mine.

²⁷ A man, or woman, in whom there is a pythonical or divining spirit, dying let them die: they shall stone them: their blood be upon them.

²⁰ A man who has sex with his uncle's wife brings shame on his uncle. They will bear responsibility for their sin; they shall die without having children.

²¹ A man who marries his brother's wife does something that is unclean. He has brought shame on his brother; the couple will have no children.

²² So keep all my rules and regulations, so that the land where I'm taking you to live won't vomit you out.

²³ Don't follow the practices of the nations I'm expelling for you. I detested them because they did all these evil things.

²⁴ But I have promised you that you will take over their land. I'm going to give it to you to own, a land that flows with milk and honey. I am the Lord your God, who has made you a distinctive people different from all others.

²⁵ So make sure you observe the difference between clean and unclean animals and birds. Don't make yourselves unclean because of any animal or bird, or by anything that runs along the ground. I have made the difference clear: they are unclean for you.

²⁶ You shall be holy to me because I am holy. I am the Lord, and I have made you a distinctive people different from all other nations. You belong to me.

²⁷ Anyone, man or a woman, who is a medium or a spiritist must be executed. They are to be stoned to death; they bear the responsibility for their punishment.”

²⁰ Likewise the man that lyeth with his fathers brothers wife, and vncouereth his vncles shame: they shall beare their iniquitie, and shall die childlesse.

²¹ So the man that taketh his brothers wife, committeth filthines, because he hath vncouered his brothers shame: they shalbe childles.

²² Ye shall keepe therefore all mine ordinances and all my iudgements, and doe them, that the land, whither I bring you to dwel therein, spue you not out.

²³ Wherefore ye shall not walke in the maners of this nation which I cast out before you: for they haue committed all these things, therefore I abhorred them.

²⁴ But I haue saide vnto you, ye shall inherite their land, and I will giue it vnto you to possesse it, euen a land that floweth with milke and honie: I am the Lord your God, which haue separated you from other people.

²⁵ Therefore shall ye put difference betweene cleane beastes and vncleane, and betweene vncleane foules and cleane: neither shall ye defile your selues with beastes and foules, nor with any creeping thing, that ye ground bringeth forth, which I haue separated from you as vncleane.

²¹ And if man take his brother’s wife, a thing to be kept aloof from, (merachaka,) he bath uncovered the nakedness of his brother, they shall be childless.

²² But keep you all My statutes and all My judgments, and do them, that the land into which I bring you to dwell may not cast you out.

²³ You shall not walk in the laws of the peoples whom I drive away from before you; for they have committed all these thin, and My Word hath abhorred them.

²⁴ But I have said to you, Ye shall inherit this land, and I will give it to you to possess it, a land producing milk and honey. I am the Lord your God who have separated you from the peoples.

²⁵ And you shall make distinction between animals clean and unclean, and between fowls unclean and clean, and not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by anything that creepeth on the ground which I have separated (as to be) unto you unclean.

²⁶ And you shall be holy before Me; for I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from the nations to be worshippers before Me.

²⁷ A man or a woman with whom are impostures or divinations shall be verily put to death; with stones they shall be stoned, they are guilty of death.

²⁰ If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his dod ·uncle’s· nakedness. They shall bear their sin. They shall die childless.

²⁵ “‘You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean: and you shall not make yourselves detestable by animal, or by bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have separated from you as unclean for you.

²⁶ You shall be holy to me; for I, Adonai , am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.

²⁷ “‘A man or a woman that is a spirit-medium, or is a sorcerer, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.’”

²⁰ If a man sleeps with his aunt, he has dishonored his uncle. They will bear responsibility for their sin, and they will die without children.

²¹ If a man marries his brother's wife while his brother is still living, that is disgraceful. He has dishonored his brother, and I will take away from their children any property they may have inherited from their parents.

²² You must therefore keep all my statutes and all my decrees; you must obey them so that the land into which I am bringing you to live will not vomit you up.

²³ You must not walk in the customs of the nations that I will drive out before you, for they have done all these things, and I detest them.

²⁴ I said to you, “You will inherit their land; I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am Yahweh your God, who has separated you from the other peoples.

²⁵ You must therefore distinguish between the clean animals and the unclean, and between the unclean birds and the clean. You must not defile yourselves with unclean animals or birds or with any creature that crawls along the ground, which I have separated as unclean from you.

²⁷ A man or a woman who talks with the dead or who talks with spirits must certainly be put to death. The people must stone them with stones. They are guilty and deserve to die.'”

²⁰ If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They shall bear their sin. They shall die childless.

²¹ He that weddeth his brother’s wife, doeth an unleaveful thing; he showed his brother’s filthhood, and he shall be without free children.

²² Keep ye my laws and my dooms, and do ye those or them, lest the land, into which ye shall enter and dwell in, cast out vilely also you.

²³ Do not ye go in the lawful things, that is, in worshipping and in the manner of living of them, of the nations, which I shall cast out before you, for they did all these things, and I had abomination of them.

²⁴ Forsooth I spake to you, Wield ye their land, that I shall give to you into heritage, that land flowing with milk and honey; I am your Lord God, that parted you from other peoples.

²⁵ Therefore also ye part a clean beast from an unclean, and a clean bird from an unclean, lest ye defoul your souls in beasts, and in birds, and in all things that be moved in earth, and which things I showed to you to be defouled.

²⁷ A man either a woman, in which is an unclean spirit of witchcraft speaking in the womb, either a spirit of false divining, die they by death; men shall oppress them with stones; their blood be on them.

(He who doeth fleshly knowing with the wife of his father’s brother, or the wife of his mother’s brother, and uncovereth the nakedness of his kin, they both shall bear their sin, and they shall die without any children.)

²² Kepe ye my lawis and my domes, and do ye tho, lest the lond, in to which ye schulen entre and dwelle, caste out viliche also you.

²³ Nyle ye go in the lawful thingis of naciouns, whiche Y schal caste out bifor you, for thei diden alle these thingis, and Y hadde abhomynacioun of hem.

²⁴ Forsothe Y speke to you, Welde ye `the lond of hem, which Y schal yyue to you in to eritage, the lond flowynge with mylk and hony; Y am youre Lord God, that departide you fro othere puplis.

²⁵ Therfor also ye departe a cleene beeste fro vnclene, and a cleene brid fro vncleene, lest ye defoule youre soulis in a beeste, and in briddis, and in alle thingis that ben moued in erthe, and whiche thingis Y schewide to you to be defoulid.

²⁷ A man ethir a womman, in which is an vncleene spirit spekynge in the `wombe, ethir `a spirit of fals dyuynyng, die thei bi deeth; men schulen oppresse hem bi stoonus; her blood be on hem.

²⁶ and ye have been holy to Me; for holy am I, Jehovah; and I separate you from the peoples to become Mine.

²⁷ 'And a man or woman — when there is in them a familiar spirit, or who are wizards — are certainly put to death; with stones they stone them; their blood is on them.'
