Leviticus 20:14-16 in English

¹⁴ And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.

¹⁵ And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

¹⁶ And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

¹⁴ Whosoever shall take a woman and her mother, it is iniquity: they shall burn him and them with fire; so there shall not be iniquity among you.

¹⁵ And whosoever shall lie with a beast, let him die the death; and ye shall kill the beast.

¹⁶ And whatever woman shall approach any beast, so as to have connexion with it, ye shall kill the woman and the beast: let them die the death, they are guilty.

¹⁵ If a man has sex with an animal, he must be executed, and you must also kill that animal.

¹⁶ Similarly, if a woman has sex with an animal, both the woman and that animal must be killed DOU; they are responsible for their own deaths MTY.

¹⁴ And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is infamy: they shall burn him and them with fire, that there be no infamy among you.

¹⁵ And if a man lie with a beast for copulation, he shall certainly be put to death; and ye shall kill the beast.

¹⁶ And if a woman approach unto any beast to gender therewith, thou shalt kill the woman and the beast: they shall certainly be put to death; their blood is upon them.

¹⁴ If any man after marrying the daughter, marry her mother, he hath done a heinous crime: he shall be burnt alive with them: neither shall so great an abomination remain in the midst of you.

¹⁵ He that shall copulate with any beast or cattle, dying let him die, the beast also ye shall kill.

¹⁶ The woman that shall lie under any beast, shall be killed together with the same: their blood be upon them.

¹⁴ A man who marries both a woman and her mother has acted perversely. They must all be burned to death so that there will be no such wickedness among you.

¹⁵ A man who has sex with an animal must be executed, and the animal must be killed too.

¹⁶ A woman who gives herself to an animal to have sex with it must be executed, along with the animal. They must both be killed; they bear the responsibility for their punishment.

¹⁴ Likewise he that taketh a wife and her mother, committeth wickednesse: they shall burne him and them with fire, that there be no wickednes among you.

¹⁵ Also the man that lyeth with a beast, shall dye the death, and ye shall slay the beast.

¹⁴ He that weddeth over his wife her mother, hath wrought great sin; he shall be burnt quick with them, and so great unleaveful doing shall not dwell in the midst of you. (He who taketh both his wife and her mother to bed, hath done a great sin; he shall be burned alive with them, and so a great unlawful doing shall not remain in the midst of you.)

¹⁴ He that weddith ouer his wijf hir moder, hath wrouyt greet synne; he schal be brent quyk with hem, and so greet vnleueful doynge schal not dwelle in the myddis of you.

¹⁵ He that doith letcherie with a greet beeste, ethir a litil beeste die bi deeth, also sle ye the beeste.

¹⁶ A womman that liggith vndur ony beeste, be slayn togidere with it; the blood `of hem be on hem.

¹⁴ 'And a man who taketh the woman and her mother — it is wickedness; with fire they burn him and them, and there is no wickedness in your midst.

¹⁵ 'And a man who giveth his lying with a beast is certainly put to death, and the beast ye do slay.

¹⁶ 'And a woman who draweth near unto any beast to lie with it — thou hast even slain the woman and the beast; they are certainly put to death; their blood is on them.
