Leviticus 19:1-5 in English

¹ And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

² Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy; for I Jehovah your God am holy.

³ Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father; and ye shall keep my sabbaths: I am Jehovah your God.

⁴ Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am Jehovah your God.

⁵ And when ye offer a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto Jehovah, ye shall offer it that ye may be accepted.

¹ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

² Speak to the congregation of the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Ye shall be holy; for I the Lord your God am holy.

³ Let every one of you reverence his father and his mother; and ye shall keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

⁴ Ye shall not follow idols, and ye shall not make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.

⁵ And if ye will sacrifice a peace-offering to the Lord, ye shall offer it acceptable from yourselves.

¹ Yahweh also said to Moses/me,

² “Speak to all the people of Israel and tell them this: You must be holy, because I, Yahweh your God, am holy, and I want you to be like me.

³ Each of you must respect your father and your mother. And you must ◄honor/treat respectfully► the Sabbath days. I am Yahweh, your God, and that is what I am commanding you to do.

⁴ Do not worship idols or make metal statues of gods for yourselves. I am Yahweh, your God, and I am the only one you must worship.

⁵ When you bring an offering to maintain fellowship with me, offer it in a way that will cause me to accept it.

¹ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹ And the Lord said to Moses,

² Say to all the people of Israel, You are to be holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy.

³ Let every man give honour to his mother and to his father and keep my Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

⁴ Do not go after false gods, and do not make metal images of gods for yourselves: I am the Lord your God.

⁵ And when you give a peace offering to the Lord, do it in the way which is pleasing to the Lord.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

² Speak unto all the assembly of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Holy shall ye be, for I Jehovah your God am holy.

³ Ye shall reverence every man his mother, and his father, and my sabbaths shall ye keep: I am Jehovah your God.

⁴ Ye shall not turn unto idols, and ye shall not make to yourselves molten gods: I am Jehovah your God.

⁵ And if ye sacrifice a sacrifice of peace-offering to Jehovah, ye shall sacrifice it for your acceptance.

¹ The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

² Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: Be ye holy, because I the Lord your God am holy.

³ Let every one fear his father, and his mother. Keep my sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.

⁴ Turn ye not to idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods. I am the Lord your God.

⁵ If ye offer in sacrifice a peace offering to the Lord, that he may be favourable,

¹ The Lord told Moses,

² “Tell all the Israelites: You must be holy because I am holy; I am the Lord your God.

³ Show respect for your mother and father, and keep my Sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.

⁴ Don't turn to idols for help or make for metal images of gods. I am the Lord your God.

⁵ When you sacrifice a peace offering to the Lord, make sure you do it correctly so God will accept you.

¹ And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

² Speake vnto all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and say vnto them, Ye shalbe holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.

³ Yee shall feare euery man his mother and his father, and shall keepe my Sabbaths: for I am the Lord your God.

⁴ Ye shall not turne vnto idoles, nor make you molten gods: I am the Lord your God.

⁵ And when yee shall offer a peace offering vnto the Lord, ye shall offer it freely.

¹ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

² Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them: Ye shall be holy; for I the LORD your God am holy.

³ Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and ye shall keep My sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

⁴ Ye shall not turn unto the idols, and molten gods shall ye not make to yourselves: I am the Lord your God.

⁵ And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace-offering unto the Lord, ye shall offer it so that it may be favorably received from you.

¹ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

² Speak to the congregation of the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Ye shall be holy; for I the Lord your God am holy.

³ Let every one of you reverence his father and his mother; and ye shall keep my Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

⁴ Ye shall not follow idols, and ye shall not make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.

⁵ And if ye will sacrifice a peace offering to the Lord, ye shall offer it acceptable from yourselves.

¹ And the Lord spake with Mosheh, saying:

² Speak with all the congregation of the sons of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy; for I, the Lord your God, am holy.

³ A man shall reverence his mother and his father, and you shall keep the day of My Sabbath: I am the Lord your God.

⁴ Turn not after idols, nor make molten things (for worship): I am the Lord your God.

⁵ And when you offer the sacrifice of consecrated things before the Lord, make the sacrifice thereof with your own free-will.

¹ Adonai spoke to Moses Drawn out, saying,

² “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel God prevails, and tell them, ‘You shall be holy; for I, Adonai your God, am holy.

³ “‘Each one of you shall respect his mother and his father. You shall keep my Sabbaths. I am Adonai your God.

⁴ “‘Don’t turn to idols, nor make molten deities for yourselves. I am Adonai your God.

⁵ “‘When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to Adonai , you shall offer it so that you may be accepted.

¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

² “Speak to all the assembly of the people of Israel and say to them, 'You must be holy, for I Yahweh your God am holy.

³ Everyone must respect his mother and his father, and you must keep my Sabbaths. I am Yahweh your God.

⁴ Do not turn to worthless idols, nor make for yourselves gods out of metal. I am Yahweh your God.

⁵ When you offer a sacrifice of fellowship offerings to Yahweh, you must offer it that you may be accepted.

¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

² “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘You shall be holy; for I, Yahweh your God, am holy.

³ “‘Each one of you shall respect his mother and his father. You shall keep my Sabbaths. I am Yahweh your God.

⁴ “‘Don’t turn to idols, nor make molten gods for yourselves. I am Yahweh your God.

⁵ “‘When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, you shall offer it so that you may be accepted.

¹ The Lord spake to Moses, and said,

² Speak thou to all the company of the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Be ye holy, for I am holy, your Lord God.

³ Each man dread his father, and his mother. Keep ye my sabbaths; I am your Lord God.

⁴ Do not ye be turned to idols, neither ye shall make to you molten gods; I am your Lord God.

⁵ If ye offer a sacrifice of peaceable things to the Lord, that it be quemeful,

¹ The Lord spake to Moses, and said,

² Speak thou to all the company of the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Be ye holy, for I am holy, your Lord God. (Speak thou to all the congregation of the Israelites, and thou shalt say to them, Be ye holy, for I am holy, the Lord your God.)

³ Each man dread his father, and his mother. Keep ye my sabbaths; I am your Lord God. (Everyone revere or honour his father, and his mother. Keep ye my Sabbaths; I am the Lord your God.)

⁴ Do not ye be turned to idols, neither ye shall make to you molten gods; I am your Lord God. (Do not ye turn to idols; nor make ye gods out of metal for yourselves; I am the Lord your God.)

⁵ If ye offer a sacrifice of peaceable things to the Lord, that it be quemeful, (If ye offer a peace offering to the Lord, so that it be acceptable,)

¹ The Lord spak to Moises, and seide,

² Speke thou to al the cumpenye of the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, Be ye hooli, for Y am hooli, youre Lord God.

³ Ech man drede his fadir and his modir. Kepe ye my sabatis; Y am youre Lord God.

⁴ Nyle ye be turned to ydols, nether ye schulen make to you yotun goddis; Y am youre Lord God.

⁵ If ye offren a sacrifice of pesible thingis to the Lord, that it be quemeful,

¹ And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

² 'Speak unto all the company of the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Ye are holy, for holy am I, Jehovah, your God.

³ 'Each his mother and his father ye do fear, and My sabbaths ye do keep; I am Jehovah your God.

⁴ 'Ye do not turn unto the idols, and a molten god ye do not make to yourselves; I am Jehovah your God.

⁵ 'And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Jehovah, at your pleasure ye do sacrifice it;
