¹⁸ And thou shalt not take a wife to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life-time.

¹⁹ And thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.

²⁰ And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor’s wife, to defile thyself with her.

²¹ And thou shalt not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech; neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.

²² Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

²³ And thou shalt not lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

²⁴ Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you;

²⁵ and the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out her inhabitants.

²⁶ Ye therefore shall keep my statutes and mine ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourneth among you

²⁷ (for all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you, and the land is defiled);

²⁸ that the land vomit not you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

²⁹ For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.

³⁰ Therefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.

²¹ And thou shalt not give of thy seed to serve a ruler; and thou shalt not profane my holy name; I am the Lord.

²² And thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman, for it is an abomination.

²³ Neither shalt thou lie with any quadruped for copulation, to be polluted with it: neither shall a woman present herself before any quadruped to have connexion with it; for it is an abomination.

²⁴ Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for in all these things the nations are defiled, which I drive out before you,

²⁵ and the land is polluted; and I have recompensed their iniquity to them because of it, and the land is aggrieved with them that dwell upon it.

²⁶ And ye shall keep all my statutes and all my ordinances, and ye shall do none of these abominations; neither the native, nor the stranger that joins himself with you:

²⁷ (for all these abominations the men of the land did who were before you, and the land was defiled,)

²⁸ and lest the land be aggrieved with you in your polluting it, as it was aggrieved with the nations before you.

²⁹ For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, the souls that do them shall be destroyed from among their people.

³⁰ And ye shall keep mine ordinances, that ye may not do any of the abominable practices, which have taken place before your time: and ye shall not be polluted in them; for I am the Lord your God.

¹⁸ While your wife is still living, do not marry your wife's sister and have sex with her.

¹⁹ Do not have sex with any woman while she is having her monthly menstrual period.

²⁰ Do not ◄defile yourself/make yourself unacceptable to me► by having sex with someone else's wife.

²¹ Do not give any of your children to be burned to be a sacrifice to the god Molech, because that would show that you do not revere me MTY, Yahweh, your God.

²² No man should have sex with another man; that is detestable.

²³ No one, man or woman, should ◄defile himself/cause himself to become unacceptable to me► by having sex with an animal; that is a perverse act.

²⁴ Do not ◄defile yourselves/cause yourselves to become unacceptable to me► in any of those ways, because doing those things is how the people of the nations that I expelled as you advanced became ◄unacceptable to me/defiled►.

²⁵ They even caused the land to become defiled, so I punished them for their sins, and it was as though the land vomited out the people who lived there.

²⁶ You must all obey my laws and decrees. That includes you people who were born here and the foreigners who live among you.

²⁷ All those detestable things were done by the people who lived in this land before you came here, and they caused the land to become defiled.

²⁸ So if you defile the land, I will get rid of MET you like I got rid of the people of those nations that were here before you came.

²⁹ You must not allow people who do any of those detestable things to associate with you who are my people.

³⁰ Obey everything that I command you to do, and do not defile yourselves by practicing any of the detestable customs that were practiced by the people who were there before you came. I, Yahweh your God, am the one who is commanding these things.”

¹⁸ And you may not take as wife a woman and at the same time her sister, to be in competition with her in her life-time.

¹⁹ And you may not go near a woman or have sex relations with her when she is unclean, at her regular time.

²⁰ And you may not have sex relations with your neighbour's wife, making yourself unclean with her.

²¹ And you may not make any of your children go through the fire as an offering to Molech, and you may not put shame on the name of your God: I am the Lord.

²² You may not have sex relations with men, as you do with women: it is a disgusting thing.

²³ And you may not have sex relations with a beast, making yourself unclean with it; and a woman may not give herself to a beast: it is an unnatural act.

²⁴ Do not make yourself unclean in any of these ways; for so have those nations whom I am driving out from before you made themselves unclean:

²⁵ And the land itself has become unclean; so that I have sent on it the reward of its wrongdoing, and the land itself puts out those who are living in it.

²⁶ So then keep my rules and my decisions, and do not do any of these disgusting things, those of you who are Israelites by birth, or any others who are living with you:

²⁷ (For all these disgusting things were done by the men of this country who were there before you, and the land has been made unclean by them;)

²⁸ So that the land may not put you out from it, when you make it unclean, as it put out the nations which were there before you.

²⁹ For all those who do any of these disgusting things will be cut off from among their people.

³⁰ So then, keep my orders, so that you may not do any of these disgusting things which were done before you, or make yourselves unclean through them: I am the Lord your God.

²² And thou shalt not lie with mankind as one lieth with a woman: it is an abomination.

²³ And thou shalt lie with no beast to become unclean therewith; and a woman shall not stand before a beast to lie down with it: it is confusion.

²⁴ Make not yourselves unclean in any of these things; for in all these have the nations which I am casting out before you made themselves unclean.

²⁵ And the land hath become unclean; and I visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out its inhabitants.

²⁶ But ye shall observe my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of all these abominations: the home-born, and the stranger that sojourneth among you;

²⁷ (for all these abominations have the men of the land done, who were before you, and the land hath been made unclean);

²⁸ that the land vomit you not out, when ye make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

²⁹ For whoever committeth any of these abominations, ...the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

³⁰ And ye shall observe my charge, that ye commit not any of the abominable customs which were committed before you; and ye shall not make yourselves unclean therein: I am Jehovah your God.

¹⁸ Thou shalt not take thy wife’s sister for a harlot, to rival her, neither shalt thou discover her nakedness, while she is yet living.

¹⁹ Thou shalt not approach to a woman having her flowers, neither shalt thou uncover her nakedness.

²⁰ Thou shalt not lie with thy neighbour’s wife, nor be defiled with mingling of seed.

²¹ Thou shalt not give any of thy seed to be consecrated to the idol Moloch, nor defile the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

²² Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, because it is an abomination.

²³ Thou shalt not copulate with any beast, neither shalt thou be defiled with it. A woman shall not lie down to a beast, nor copulate with it: because it is a heinous crime.

²⁴ Defile not yourselves with any of these things with which all the nations have been defiled, which I will cast out before you,

²⁵ And with which the land is defiled: the abominations of which I will visit, that it may vomit out its inhabitants.

²⁶ Keep ye my ordinances and my judgments, and do not any of these abominations: neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you.

²⁷ For all these detestable things the inhabitants of the land have done, that; were before you, and have defiled it.

²⁸ Beware then, lest in like manner, it vomit you also out, if you do the like things, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

²⁹ Every soul that shall commit any of these abominations, shall perish from the midst of his people.

³⁰ Keep my commandments. Do not the things which they have done, that have been before you, and be not defiled therein. I am the Lord your God.

¹⁸ Don't marry your wife's sister and have sex with her while your wife is still alive. They will be hostile wives to one other.

¹⁹ Don't have sex with a woman during the time she is unclean because of her period.

²⁰ Don't commit any sex act with any other man's wife. This would pollute you and make you unclean.

²¹ Don't give any of your children as a human sacrifice to Molech, for you must not disgrace the character of your God. I am the Lord.

²² Don't have sex with a man as with a woman. That is something disgusting.

²³ Don't have sex with any animal. This would pollute you and make you unclean.

²⁴ A woman must not give herself to an animal to have sex with it. That is something disgusting. Don't pollute yourselves and make yourselves unclean by doing anything like this. That's the reason I'm expelling these nations from the land—they polluted themselves because of all these practices.

²⁵ Even the land has become polluted, so I am punishing it for the sins committed by the people who live there, and the land will vomit them out.

²⁶ You, however, must do what I tell you and keep my rules. You must not do any of these disgusting acts, whether an Israelite or a foreigner living among you.

²⁷ The people who lived in the land before you practiced all these disgusting things, and the land became polluted.

²⁸ If you pollute the land, it will vomit you out just like it did the nations before you.

²⁹ Consequently anyone who does any of these disgusting things must be expelled from their people.

³⁰ You must accept my demand that you don't follow any of these disgusting practices done before you arrived. Don't pollute yourselves and make yourselves unclean. I am the Lord your God.”

¹⁹ Thou shalt not also go vnto a woman to vncouer her shame, as long as she is put apart for her disease.

²⁰ Moreouer, thou shalt not giue thy selfe to thy neighbours wife by carnall copulation, to be defiled with her.

²¹ Also thou shalt not giue thy children to offer them vnto Molech, neither shalt thou defile the name of thy God: for I am the Lord.

²² Thou shalt not lie with ye male as one lieth with a woman: for it is abomination.

²³ Thou shalt not also lie with any beast to bee defiled therewith, neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie downe thereto: for it is abomination.

²⁴ Yee shall not defile your selues in any of these things: for in al these the nations are defiled, which I will cast out before you:

²⁵ And the land is defiled: therefore I wil visit the wickednesse thereof vpon it, and the lande shall vomit out her inhabitants.

²⁶ Ye shall keepe therefore mine ordinances, and my iudgements, and commit none of these abominations, aswell hee that is of the same countrey, as the straunger that soiourneth among you.

²⁷ (For all these abominations haue the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled:

²⁸ And shall not the lande spue you out if ye defile it, as it spued out the people that were before you?)

²⁹ For whosoeuer shall commit any of these abominations, the persons that doe so, shall bee cut off from among their people.

³⁰ Therefore shall yee keepe mine ordinances that ye do not any of the abominable customes, which haue bene done before you, and that yee defile not your selues therein: for I am the Lord your God.

³⁰ And ye shall keep mine ordinances, that ye may not do any of the abominable practices, which have taken place before your time: and ye shall not be polluted in them; for I am the Lord your God.

²⁵ And the land (itself) is contaminated; and I will visit the guilt that is upon it, and the land shall vomit forth the inhabitants.

²⁶ But you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, and commit none of these abominations, neither the native-born nor the sojourners who sojourn among you;

²⁷ For all these abominations have been done by the men of the land who have been before you, and the land hath been polluted;

²⁸ That the land vomit you not out when ye defile it; as it will have cast out the people who were before you.

²⁹ For whoso committeth any of these abominations, the souls that do them shall be destroyed from among their people.

³⁰ And you shall observe the keeping of My word, that you do not (according to) the abominable usages which have been done before You, nor be corrupted by them. I am the Lord your God.

¹⁸ You must not marry your wife's sister as a second wife and sleep with her while your first wife is alive.

¹⁹ Do not sleep with a woman during her menstruation. She is unclean during that time.

²⁰ Do not sleep with your neighbor's wife and defile yourself with her in this way.

²¹ You must not give any of your children to put them into the fire, so that you sacrifice them to Molech, because you must not profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.

²² Do not sleep with other men as with a woman. This would be wicked.

²³ Do not sleep with any animal and defile yourself with it. No woman must consider sleeping with any animal. This would be perversion.

²⁴ Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for in all these ways the nations are defiled, the nations that I will drive out from before you.

²⁵ The land became defiled, so I punished their sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.
