Leviticus 15:2-10 in English

² Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath an issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

³ And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.

⁴ Every bed whereon he that hath the issue lieth shall be unclean; and everything whereon he sitteth shall be unclean.

⁵ And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁶ And he that sitteth on anything whereon he that hath the issue sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁷ And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁸ And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁹ And what saddle soever he that hath the issue rideth upon shall be unclean.

¹⁰ And whosoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁷ And he that touches the skin of him that has the issue, shall wash his garments and bathe himself in water, and shall be unclean till evening.

⁸ And if he that has the issue should spit upon one that is clean, that person shall wash his garments, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until evening.

⁹ And every ass's saddle, on which the man with the issue shall have mounted, shall be unclean till evening.

¹⁰ And every one that touches whatsoever shall have been under him shall be unclean until evening; and he that takes them up shall wash his garments, and bathe himself in water, and shall be unclean until evening.

² “Tell this to the Israelis: When an infected discharge comes out of a man's sexual organs EUP, that fluid should not be touched.

³ Whether that fluid is blocked or continues to drip, it causes him to be someone who should not be touched.

⁴ And any bed that such a man lies on should not be touched, and anything that he sits on should not be touched.

⁵ Anyone who touches that person's bed must wash his clothes and bathe, and no one should touch him until that evening.

⁶ Anyone who sits on something that man has sat on must wash his clothes and bathe, and no one should touch him until that evening.

⁷ Anyone who touches such a man must wash his clothes and bathe, and no one should touch him until that evening.

⁸ If such a man spits on someone else, that person who is spit upon should not be touched. He must wash his clothes, and no one should touch him until that evening.

⁹ Everything that a man who has such a discharge of fluid sits on while he is riding a horse or a donkey should not be touched,

¹⁰ and anyone who touches the seat or saddle that he was sitting on also should not be touched until that evening. And anyone who picks up the seat or saddle must wash his clothes and bathe, and no one should touch him until that evening.

² Say to the children of Israel: If a man has an unclean flow from his flesh, it will make him unclean.

³ If the flow goes on or if the part is stopped up, to keep back the flow, he is still unclean.

⁴ Every bed on which he has been resting will be unclean, and everything on which he has been seated will be unclean.

⁵ And anyone touching his bed is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

⁶ And he who has been seated on anything on which the unclean man has been seated is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

⁷ And anyone touching the flesh of the unclean man is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

⁸ And if liquid from the mouth of the unclean man comes on to him who is clean, then he is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

⁹ And any leather seat on a horse on which the unclean man has been seated will be unclean.

¹⁰ And anyone touching anything which was under him will be unclean till the evening; anyone taking up any of these things is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

³ And this shall be his uncleanness in his flux: whether his flesh run with his flux, or his flesh be closed from his flux, it is his uncleanness.

⁴ Every bed whereon he lieth that hath the flux shall be unclean; and every object on which he sitteth shall be unclean.

⁵ And whoever toucheth his bed shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁶ And he that sitteth on any object whereon he sat that hath the flux shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁷ And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the flux shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁸ And if he that hath the flux spit upon him that is clean, then he shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.

⁹ And what carriage soever he rideth upon that hath the flux shall be unclean.

¹⁰ And whoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be unclean until the even; and he that carrieth them shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.

² Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: The man that hath an issue of seed, shall be unclean.

³ And then shall he be judged subject to this evil, when a filthy humour, at every moment, cleaveth to his flesh, and gathereth there.

⁴ Every bed on which he sleepeth, shall be unclean, and every place on which he sitteth.

⁵ If ally man touch his bed, he shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.

⁶ If a man sit where that man hath sitten, he also shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.

⁷ He that toucheth his flesh, shall wash his clothes: and being himself washed with water shall be unclean until the evening.

⁸ If such a man cast his spittle upon him that is clean, he shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.

⁹ The saddle on which he hath sitten shall be unclean.

¹⁰ And whatsoever has been under him that hath the issue of seed, shall be unclean until the evening. He that carrieth any of these things, shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.

² “Tell the Israelites, When any man has a discharge from his genitals, the discharge is unclean.

³ The uncleanness comes from his discharge, whether his body allows it to flow out or blocks it. It makes him unclean.

⁴ Any bed the man with the discharge lies on will be unclean, and anything he sits on will be unclean.

⁵ Anyone who touches his bed has to wash their clothes, and wash themselves with water, and they will be unclean until the evening.

⁶ Anyone who sits on whatever the man was sitting on has to wash their clothes, and wash themselves with water, and they will be unclean until the evening.

⁷ Anyone who touches the man's body has to wash their clothes, and wash themselves with water, and they will be unclean until the evening.

⁸ If the man with the discharge spits on anyone who is clean, they have to wash their clothes, and wash themselves with water, and they will be unclean until the evening.

⁹ Whatever the man sits on when he's riding will be unclean.

¹⁰ Anyone who touches whatever was under him will be unclean until the evening. Anyone who picks these things up has to wash their clothes, and wash themselves with water, and they will be unclean until the evening.

³ And this shall be his uncleanness by his defluxion, when his defluxion floweth form his flesh, or his flesh hath ceased from its flowing, it is (the cause) of his uncleanness.

⁴ Every bed whereon he lieth who hath the defluxion shall be unclean; and anything whereon he sitteth shall be unclean.

⁵ And whoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

⁶ And he who sitteth on a thing whereon he who hath the issue hath sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

⁷ And he who toucheth the flesh of him who hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

⁸ And if he who hath the issue spit upon one who is clean, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

⁹ And any saddle (or carriage) that he who hath the issue may ride upon shall be unclean;

¹⁰ And whoever toucheth any things that have been under him shall be unclean until evening.

² “Speak to the children of Israel God prevails, and tell them, ‘When any man has a discharge from his body, because of his discharge he is unclean.

³ This shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body has stopped from his discharge, it is his uncleanness.

² “Speak to the people of Israel, and say to them, 'When any man has an infected fluid that comes out of his body, he becomes unclean.

³ His uncleanness is due to this infected fluid. Whether his body flows with fluid or is stopped up, it is unclean.

⁴ Every bed on which he lies will be unclean, and everything on which he sits will be unclean.

⁵ Whoever touches his bed must wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until evening.

⁶ Anyone who sits on anything on which the man with the flow of infected fluid sat, that person must wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and he will be unclean until evening.

⁷ Anyone who touches the body of the one who has a flow of infected fluid must wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until evening.

⁸ If the person who has such a flow of fluid spits on someone who is clean, then that person must wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and he will be unclean until evening.

⁹ Any saddle which he who has a flow rides upon will be unclean.

¹⁰ Whoever touches anything that was under that person will be unclean until evening, and anyone who carries those things must wash his clothes and bathe himself in water; he will be unclean until evening.

² “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When any man has a discharge from his body, because of his discharge he is unclean.

³ This shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body has stopped from his discharge, it is his uncleanness.

⁹ The sadil on which he sittith,

¹⁰ schal be vncleene; and ech man that touchith what euer thing is vndur hym that suffrith the fletyng out of seed, schal be defoulid `til to euentid. He that berith ony of these thingis, schal waische hise clothis, and he schal be waischun in watir, and schal be vncleene `til to euentid.

⁸ 'And when he who hath the issue spitteth on him who is clean, then he hath washed his garments, and hath bathed with water, and been unclean till the evening.

⁹ 'And all the saddle on which he rideth who hath the issue is unclean;

¹⁰ and any one who is coming against anything which is under him is unclean till the evening, and he who is bearing them doth wash his garments, and hath bathed with water, and been unclean till the evening.
