⁴⁷ The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

⁴⁸ whether it be in warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin;

⁴⁹ if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest.

⁵⁰ And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up that which hath the plague seven days:

⁵¹ and he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

⁵² And he shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in woollen or in linen, or anything of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

⁵³ And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin;

⁵⁴ then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:

⁵⁵ and the priest shall look, after that the plague is washed; and, behold, if the plague have not changed its color, and the plague be not spread, it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire: it is a fret, whether the bareness be within or without.

⁴⁷ And if a garment have in it the plague of leprosy, a garment of wool, or a garment of flax,

⁴⁸ either in the warp or in the woof, or in the linen, or in the woollen threads, or in a skin, or in any workmanship of skin,

⁴⁹ and the plague be greenish or reddish in the skin, or in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any utensil of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and he shall show it to the priest.

⁵⁰ And the priest shall look upon the plague, and the priest shall set apart that which has the plague seven days.

⁵¹ And the priest shall look upon the plague on the seventh day; and if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof, or in the skin, in whatsoever things skins may be used in their workmanship, the plague is a confirmed leprosy; it is unclean.

⁵² He shall burn the garment, either the warp or woof in woollen garments or in flaxen, or in any utensil of skin, in which there may be the plague; because it is a confirmed leprosy; it shall be burnt with fire.

⁵³ And if the priest should see, and the plague be not spread in the garments, either in the warp or in the woof, or in any utensil of skin,

⁵⁴ then the priest shall give directions, and one shall wash that on which there may have been the plague, and the priest shall set it aside a second time for seven days.

⁵⁵ And the priest shall look upon it after the plague has been washed; and if this, even the plague, has not changed its appearance, and the plague does not spread, it is unclean; it shall be burnt with fire: it is fixed in the garment, in the warp, or in the woof.

⁴⁷ “Sometimes a person's clothing gets mildew on it. It may be clothing that is woven from wool or made from linen or from leather.

⁴⁹ If the contaminated/mildewed part is greenish or reddish, it is a spreading mildew, and it must be shown to the priest.

⁵⁰ The priest will examine it, and then put it in a separate place by itself for seven days.

⁵¹ On the seventh day he must examine it again. If the mildew has spread, it is clear that it is a type of mildew that destroys clothing, and that clothing must not be worn again.

⁵² The owner must burn completely the item that has the mildew in it, whatever kind of item it is.

⁵³ But when the priest examines it, if the mildew has not spread,

⁵⁴ he will tell the person who owns it to wash it. Then he must put it in a separate place for another seven days.

⁵⁵ Then the priest will examine it again. If the color of the mildew has not changed, even though it has not spread, that item must not be worn again. It does not matter if the mildew is on the inside of the clothing or on the outside; it must be burned.

⁴⁷ And if a garment have in it the plague of leprosy, a garment of wool, or a garment of flax,

⁴⁸ either in the warp or in the woof, or in the linen, or in the woollen threads, or in a skin, or in any workmanship of skin,

⁵³ “If the priest examines it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin;

⁵⁴ then the priest shall command that they wash the thing that the plague is in, and he shall isolate it seven more days.

⁵⁵ Then the priest shall examine it, after the plague is washed; and behold, if the plague hasn’t changed its color, and the plague hasn’t spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside.

⁴⁸ If it is in the threads of the linen or of the wool, or in leather, or in anything made of skin;

⁴⁹ If there are red or green marks on the clothing, or on the leather, or in the threads of the cloth, or in anything made of skin, it is the leper's disease: let the priest see it.

⁵⁰ And after it has been seen by the priest, the thing which is so marked is to be shut up for seven days:

⁵¹ And he is to see the mark on the seventh day; if the mark is increased in the clothing, or in the threads of the material, or in the leather, whatever the leather is used for, it is the disease biting into it: it is unclean.

⁵² And the clothing, or the wool or linen material, or anything of leather in which is the disease, is to be burned: for the disease is biting into it; let it be burned in the fire.

⁵³ And if the priest sees that the mark is not increased in the clothing or in any part of the material or in the leather,

⁵⁴ Then the priest will give orders for the thing on which the mark is, to be washed, and to be shut up for seven days more:

⁵⁵ And if, after the mark has been washed, the priest sees that the colour of it is not changed and it is not increased, it is to be burned in the fire: the disease is working in it, though the damage may be inside or outside.

⁴⁷ And if a sore of leprosy is in a garment, in a woollen garment, or a linen garment,

⁴⁸ either in the warp or in the woof of linen or of wool, or in a skin, or in anything made of skin,

⁴⁹ and the sore is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is the sore of leprosy, and shall be shewn unto the priest.

⁵⁰ And the priest shall look on the sore, and shall shut up that which hath the sore seven days.

⁵¹ And he shall see the sore on the seventh day: if the sore have spread in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof, or in a skin, in any work that may be made of skin, the sore is a corroding leprosy: it is unclean.

⁵² And they shall burn the garment, or the warp or the woof, of wool or of linen, or anything of skin, wherein the sore is; for it is a corroding leprosy: it shall be burned with fire.

⁵³ But if the priest look, and behold, the sore hath not spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin,

⁵⁴ then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the sore is, and he shall shut it up seven days a second time.

⁵⁵ And the priest shall look on the sore after the washing, and behold, if the sore have not changed its appearance, and the sore have not spread, it is unclean: thou shalt burn it with fire: it is a fretting sore on what is threadbare or where the nap is gone.

⁴⁷ A woollen or linen garment that shall have the leprosy

⁴⁸ In the warp, and the woof, or a skin. or whatsoever is made of a skin,

⁴⁹ If it be infected with a white or red spot, it shall be accounted the leprosy, and shall be shewn to the priest.

⁵⁰ And he shall look upon it and shall shut it up seven days:

⁵¹ And on the seventh day when he looketh on it again, if he find that it if grown, it is a Axed leprosy: he shall judge the garment unclean, and every thing wherein it shall be found:

⁵² And therefore it shall be burnt with fire.

⁵³ But if he see that it is not grown,

⁵⁴ He shall give orders, and they shall wash that part wherein the leprosy is, and he shall shut it up other seven days.

⁵⁵ And when he shall see that the former colour is not returned, nor yet the leprosy spread, he shall judge it unclean, and shall burn it with fire, for the leprosy has taken hold of the outside of the garment, or through the whole.

⁴⁷ The following regulations relate to any material that becomes affected by mold, such as wool or linen clothing,

⁴⁸ anything woven or knitted made from linen or wool, or anything made of leather:

⁴⁹ If the spot is green or red on the material, whether it's leather, woven, or knitted or some other leather item, then it is infected with mold and must be shown to the priest.

⁵⁰ The priest must inspect the mold and place the item in isolation for seven days.

⁵¹ On the seventh day the priest shall inspect it again, and if the patch of mold has spread in the material, whether it's leather, woven, or knitted or some other leather item, then it is a harmful mold; the article is unclean, whatever it is being used for.

⁵² The priest is to burn it, whether the affected item is wool or linen or leather. Because the mold is harmful, the article must be burned.

⁵³ However, if when the priest inspects it again it, the patch mold has not spread,

⁵⁴ the priest shall order that the affected item is washed and placed in isolation for another seven days.

⁵⁵ Once it has been washed, the priest is to inspect again it, and if the item with the mold hasn't changed how it looks, it is unclean. Though the mold hasn't spread, you must burn the item, whether the mold damage is on the inside or the outside.

⁴⁷ Also the garment that the plague of leprosie is in, whether it be a wollen garment or a linen garment,

⁴⁸ Whether it bee in the warpe or in ye woofe of linen or of wollen, either in a skin, or in any thing made of skin,

⁴⁹ And if the sore be greene or somewhat reddish in the garment or in ye skin, or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in any thing that is made of skin, it is a plague of leprosie and shalbe shewed vnto the Priest.

⁵⁰ Then the Priest shall see the plague, and shut vp it that hath the plague, seuen dayes,

⁵¹ And shall looke on the plague the seuenth day: if the plague growe in the garment or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in the skinne, or in any thing that is made of skin, that plague is a fretting leprosie and vncleane.

⁵² And hee shall burne the garment, or the warpe, or the woofe, whether it bee wollen or linen, or any thing that is made of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a freating leprosie, therefore it shalbe burnt in the fire.

⁵³ If the Priest yet see that the plague grow not in the garment, or in the woofe, or in whatsoeuer thing of skin it be,

⁵⁴ Then the Priest shall commaund them to wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it vp seuen dayes more.

⁵⁵ Againe ye Priest shall looke on the plague, after it is washed: and if the plague haue not changed his colour, though the plague haue spred no further, it is vncleane: thou shalt burne it in the fire, for it is a fret inwarde, whether the spot bee in the bare place of the whole, or in part thereof.

⁵² And he shall then burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any article of skin, whereon the plague is; for it is a corroding leprosy, in fire shall it be burnt.

⁵³ And if the priest shall see, and, behold, the plague have not spread on the garment, either on the warp, or on the woof, or on any article of skin:

⁵⁴ Then shall the priest command that they wash the thing whereon the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more.

⁵⁵ And if the priest see, after the plague hath been washed, and, behold, the plague have not changed its color, and the plague have not spread: it is unclean, in fire shalt thou burn it; it is a decay on its inside or on its outside.

⁴⁷ And if a garment have in it the plague of leprosy, a garment of wool, or a garment of flax,

⁴⁸ either in the warp or in the woof, or in the linen, or in the woolen threads, or in a skin, or in any workmanship of skin,

⁴⁹ and the plague be greenish or reddish in the skin, or in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any utensil of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and he shall show it to the priest.

⁵² He shall burn the garment, either the warp or woof in woolen garments or in flaxen, or in any utensil of skin, in which there may be the plague; because it is a confirmed leprosy; it shall be burned with fire.

⁵³ And if the priest should see, and the plague be not spread in the garments, either in the warp or in the woof, or in any utensil of skin,

⁵⁴ then the priest shall give directions, and one shall wash that on which there may have been the plague, and the priest shall set it aside a second time for seven days.

⁵⁵ And the priest shall look upon it after the plague has been washed; and if this, even the plague, has not changed its appearance, and the plague does not spread, it is unclean; it shall be burned with fire: it is fixed in the garment, in the warp, or in the woof.

⁴⁷ The garment which hath the plague of leprosy in it, whether it be in a garment of woollen or of linen,

⁴⁸ Whether in the warp or in the woof of linen or of woolen, or in leather, or anything made of skin:

⁴⁹ If the plague be green or red in the garment or in the skin, whether in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and must be showed to the priest.

⁵⁰ And the priest shall look at the plague, and shut it up seven days.

⁵¹ And he shall look at the plague on the seventh day; if the plague hath increased in the garment, whether in the warp or in the woof, or in a skin, or anything made of skin for work, it is a plague of consuming leprosy, it is unclean.

⁵² And he shall burn the garment, whether it be in warp or woof, of wool, or of linen, or anything (made) of skin, which hath the plague in it; for it is a consuming leprosy; he shall burn it in fire.

⁵³ But if the priest look, and, behold, the plague hath not increased in the garment, whether in warp or woof, or in anything of skin;

⁵⁴ Then the priest shall direct, and they shall wash that wherein is the plague, and he shall shut it up a second seven days.

⁵⁵ And the priest shall look after that they have washed the plague, and, behold, if (the state of) the plague hath not increased, it is (nevertheless) unclean; thou shalt burn it with fire, it is a fretting leprosy, whether in its smoothness or its roughness (i.e., its right or wrong side).

⁵¹ He shall examine the plague on the seventh day. If the plague has spread in the garment, either in the linnen, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever use the skin is used for, the plague is a destructive tzara'at mildew. It is unclean.

⁵² He shall burn the garment, whether the linnen or the woof, in wool or in linen, or anything of skin, in which the plague is: for it is a destructive tzara'at mildew. It shall be burned in the fire.

⁵³ “If the priest examines it, and behold, the plague has not spread in the garment, either in the linnen, or in the woof, or in anything of skin;

⁵⁴ then the priest shall enjoin that they wash the thing in which the plague is, and he shall isolate it seven more days. (RY:4, LY:7)

⁵⁵ Then the priest shall examine it, after the plague is washed; and behold, if the plague has not changed its color, and the plague has not spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a tzara'at mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside.

⁴⁷ A garment that is contaminated with mildew, whether it is a wool or linen garment,

⁴⁸ or anything woven or knitted from wool or linen, or leather or anything made with leather—

⁴⁹ if there is a greenish or reddish contamination in the garment, the leather, the woven or knitted material, or anything made of leather, then it is a mildew that spreads; it must be shown to the priest.

⁵⁰ The priest must examine the item for mildew; he must isolate anything that has mildew for seven days.

⁵¹ He must examine the mildew again on the seventh day. If it has spread in the garment or anything woven or knitted from wool or linen material, or leather or anything in which leather is used, then it is harmful mildew, and the item is unclean.

⁵² He must burn the garment, or anything woven or knitted from wool or linen material, or leather or anything made with leather, anything in which the harmful mildew is found, for it can lead to disease. The item must be completely burned up.

⁵³ If the priest examines the item and sees that the mildew has not spread in the garment or material woven or knitted from wool or linen, or leather goods,

⁵⁴ then he will command them to wash the item in which the mildew was found, and he must isolate it for seven more days.

⁵⁵ Then the priest will examine the item after the mildewed item was washed. If the mildew has not changed its color, even though it has not spread, it is unclean. You must burn the item, no matter where the mildew has contaminated it.

⁴⁹ if it is corrupted with a white spot, either red, it shall be areckoned leprosy, and it shall be showed to the priest;

⁵⁰ the which when he hath beheld, shall enclose it up seven days.

⁵¹ And again he shall behold it in the seventh day, and if he perceiveth, that the leprosy therein hath waxed, it shall be deemed a continual leprosy; he shall deem that cloth defouled, and all thing in which it is found;

⁵² and therefore the cloth shall be burnt with flames of fire.

⁵³ And if the priest seeth that the spot hath waxen not,

⁵⁴ he shall command, and they shall wash that thing wherein the leprosy is, and he shall enclose it again seven other days;

⁵⁵ and when he seeth the former like-ness not changed again, nevertheless that neither the leprosy hath waxed, he shall deem that thing unclean, and he shall burn it in fire, for the leprosy is shed or spread in the over-part of that cloth, either throughout it all.

⁴⁸ that hath leprosy in the warp, either woof, either certainly a skin, or a pilch, either whatever thing is made of skin,

⁵¹ And again he shall behold it in the seventh day, and if he perceiveth, that the leprosy therein hath waxed, it shall be deemed a continual leprosy; he shall deem that cloth defouled, and all thing(s) in which it is found; (And he shall examine it again on the seventh day, and if he perceiveth, that the leprosy in it hath grown, it shall be judged an abiding leprosy; he shall judge that cloak to be defiled, and all the things in which it is found;)

⁵² and therefore the cloth shall be burnt with flames of fire. (and so the cloak shall be burned in the fire.)

⁵³ And if the priest seeth that the spot hath waxed not, (And if the priest seeth that the spot hath not grown, or not spread,)

⁵⁴ he shall command, and they shall wash that thing wherein the leprosy is, and he shall close it again seven other days (or and he shall enclose it for another seven days);

⁵⁵ and when he seeth the former likeness not changed again, nevertheless that neither the leprosy hath waxed, he shall (still) deem that thing (to be) unclean, and he shall burn it in fire, for the leprosy is shed in the over-part of that cloth, either throughout it all, (or for there is leprosy on the outer part of that cloak, or on the inside of it).

⁴⁷ A wollun cloth, ethir lynnun, that hath lepre in the warp,

⁴⁸ ethir oof, ethir certis a skyn, ether what euer thing is maad of skiyn,

⁴⁹ if it is corrupt with a whijt spotte, ethir reed, it schal be arettid lepre, and it schal be schewid to the preest;

⁵⁰ which schal close it biholden bi seuene daies.

⁵¹ And eft he schal biholde in the seuenthe dai, and if he perseyueth, that it wexide, it schal be contynuel lepre; he schal deme the cloth defoulid, and al thing in which it is foundun;

⁵² and therfor the cloth schal be brent in flawmes.

⁵³ That if he seeth that the spotte wexide not, he schal comaunde,

⁵⁴ and thei schulen waische that thing wherynne the lepre is, and he schal close it ayen bi seuene othere daies;

⁵⁵ and whanne he seeth the formere face not turned ayen, netheles that nether the lepre wexede, he schal deme that thing vnclene, and he schal brenne it in fier, for lepre is sched in the ouer part of the cloth, ether thorouy al.

⁵⁴ then hath the priest commanded, and they have washed that in which the plague is, and he hath shut it up a second seven days.

⁵⁵ And the priest hath seen that which hath the plague after it hath been washed, and lo, the plague hath not changed its aspect, and the plague hath not spread, — it is unclean; with fire thou dost burn it; it is a fretting in its back-part or in its front-part.
