³³ then he shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:

³⁴ and in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall; and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

³⁵ But if the scall spread abroad in the skin after his cleansing,

³⁶ then the priest shall look on him; and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for the yellow hair; he is unclean.

³⁷ But if in his eyes the scall be at a stay, and black hair be grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

³⁸ And when a man or a woman hath in the skin of the flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

³⁹ then the priest shall look; and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be of a dull white, it is a tetter, it hath broken out in the skin; he is clean.

⁴⁰ And if a man’s hair be fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

⁴¹ And if his hair be fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald; yet is he clean.

⁴² But if there be in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague; it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

⁴³ Then the priest shall look upon him; and, behold, if the rising of the plague be reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh;

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean; his plague is in his head.

⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and the hair of his head shall go loose, and he shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

⁴⁶ All the days wherein the plague is in him he shall be unclean; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his dwelling be.

⁴⁷ The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

⁴⁸ whether it be in warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin;

⁴⁹ if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest.

³⁶ then the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scurf be spread in the skin, the priest shall not examine concerning the yellow hair, for he is unclean.

³⁷ But if the scurf remain before him in its place, and a dark hair should have arisen in it, the scurf is healed: he is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

³⁸ And if a man or woman should have in the skin of their flesh spots of a bright whiteness,

³⁹ then the priest shall look; and, behold, there being bright spots of a bright whiteness in the skin of their flesh, it is a tetter; it bursts forth in the skin of his flesh; he is clean.

⁴⁰ And if any one's head should lose the hair, he is only bald, he is clean.

⁴¹ And if his head should lose the hair in front, he is forehead bald: he is clean.

⁴² And if there should be in his baldness of head, or his baldness of forehead, a white or fiery plague, it is leprosy in his baldness of head, or baldness of forehead.

⁴³ And the priest shall look upon him, and, behold, if the appearance of the plague be white or inflamed in his baldness of head or baldness in front, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of his flesh,

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man: the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean, his plague is in his head.

⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is, let his garments be ungirt, and his head uncovered; and let him have a covering put upon his mouth, and he shall be called unclean.

⁴⁶ All the days in which the plague shall be upon him, being unclean, he shall be esteemed unclean; he shall dwell apart, his place of sojourn shall be without the camp.

⁴⁷ And if a garment have in it the plague of leprosy, a garment of wool, or a garment of flax,

⁴⁸ either in the warp or in the woof, or in the linen, or in the woollen threads, or in a skin, or in any workmanship of skin,

⁴⁹ and the plague be greenish or reddish in the skin, or in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any utensil of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and he shall show it to the priest.

³³ the person must shave the hair near the sore but not the hair on the sore. And the priest will tell him to stay away from other people for seven more days.

³⁴ On the seventh day, the priest will examine that spot again. If it has not spread and it appears to be only on the surface of the skin, the priest will declare that the person is permitted to be with people again. The person must wash his clothes, and then he can be with other people.

³⁵ But if the sore later spreads,

³⁶ the priest must examine him again. If the itch/sore has spread, the priest does not need to look for yellow hair, because it is clear that the person has a contagious skin disease.

³⁷ However, if the priest thinks that the spot has not changed, and healthy hair is growing in that area, it is clear that the itch has healed, and the priest will declare that the person is permitted to be with other people again.

³⁸ When a man or a woman has white spots on the skin,

³⁹ the priest should examine them. But if the spots are dull white, it is only a rash, and the priest will declare that the person is permitted to be with other people.

⁴⁰ If a man loses the hair on any part of his head, he does not need to stay away from other people..

⁴² But if he gets a bright/shiny sore on his bald head or on his forehead, he has a contagious skin disease.

⁴³ The priest must examine him. If the swollen sore is a bright spot like the spot on someone who has a contagious skin disease,

⁴⁴ the priest will declare that the man has a contagious skin disease and must not be with other people.

⁴⁵ Anyone who has a contagious skin disease must wear torn clothes and not comb his hair. When he is near other people, he must cover the lower part to his face and call out, ‘Do not come near me! I have a contagious skin disease!’

⁴⁶ He is not allowed to be with other people as long as he has the disease. He must live alone, outside the camp.”

⁴⁷ “Sometimes a person's clothing gets mildew on it. It may be clothing that is woven from wool or made from linen or from leather.

⁴⁹ If the contaminated/mildewed part is greenish or reddish, it is a spreading mildew, and it must be shown to the priest.

³⁵ But if the disease in his skin becomes worse after he has been made clean,

³⁶ Then the priest is to see him: and if the mark is increased, the priest, without looking for the yellow hair, will say that he is unclean.

³⁷ But if, in his opinion, the growth is stopped, and black hair has come up on it, the disease has gone; he is clean and the priest will say that he is clean.

³⁸ And if a man or a woman has bright marks on the skin of their flesh, that is, bright white marks,

³⁹ Then the priest is to see them: and if the white marks on their skin are not very bright, it is a skin disease which has come out on the skin; he is clean.

⁴⁰ And if a man's hair has come out and he has no hair, still he is clean.

⁴¹ And if the hair has gone from the front part of his head, so that he has no hair there, still he is clean.

⁴² But if, on his head or on his brow, where he has no hair, there is a red and white place, it is the disease of the leper coming out on his head or on his brow.

⁴³ Then if the priest sees that the growth of the disease has become red and white on his head or on his brow where there is no hair, like the mark in the skin of a leper;

⁴⁴ He is a leper and unclean; the priest is to say that he is most certainly unclean: the disease is in his head.

⁴⁵ And the leper who has the disease on him is to go about with signs of grief, with his hair loose and his mouth covered, crying, Unclean, unclean.

⁴⁶ While the disease is on him, he will be unclean. He is unclean: let him keep by himself, living outside the tent-circle.

⁴⁷ And any clothing of wool or of linen in which is the mark of the disease;

⁴⁸ If it is in the threads of the linen or of the wool, or in leather, or in anything made of skin;

⁴⁹ If there are red or green marks on the clothing, or on the leather, or in the threads of the cloth, or in anything made of skin, it is the leper's disease: let the priest see it.

³³ he that hath the sore shall shave himself; but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days a second time.

³⁴ And the priest shall look on the scall on the seventh day, and behold, the scall hath not spread in the skin, nor is in sight deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; and he shall wash his garments, and be clean.

³⁵ But if the scall have spread much in the skin after his cleansing,

³⁶ and the priest shall look on him, and behold, the scall hath spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair: he is unclean.

³⁷ But if the scall have in his sight remained as it was, and there is black hair grown up therein, the scall is healed: he is clean; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

³⁸ And if a man or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, white bright spots,

³⁹ and the priest look, and behold, there are in the skin of their flesh pale white spots, it is an eruption which is broken out in the skin: he is clean.

⁴⁰ And if a man's hair have fallen off his head, he is bald: he is clean;

⁴¹ and if he have the hair fallen off from the part of the head towards his face, he is forehead-bald: he is clean.

⁴² And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white-reddish sore, it is a leprosy which hath broken out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

⁴³ And the priest shall look on it, and behold, the rising of the sore is white-reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, like the appearance of the leprosy in the skin of the flesh;

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man, he is unclean; the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his sore is in his head.

⁴⁵ And as to the leper in whom the sore is, — his garments shall be rent, and his head shall be uncovered, and he shall put a covering on his beard, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean!

⁴⁶ All the days that the sore shall be in him he shall be unclean: he is unclean; he shall dwell apart; outside the camp shall his dwelling be.

⁴⁷ And if a sore of leprosy is in a garment, in a woollen garment, or a linen garment,

⁴⁸ either in the warp or in the woof of linen or of wool, or in a skin, or in anything made of skin,

⁴⁹ and the sore is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is the sore of leprosy, and shall be shewn unto the priest.

³³ The man shall be shaven all but the place of the spot, and he shall be shut up other seven days:

³⁴ If on the seventh day the evil seem to have stayed in its place, and not lower than the other flesh, he shall cleanse him, and his clothes being washed he shall be clean.

³⁵ But if after his cleansing the spot spread again in the skin,

³⁶ He shall seek no more whether the hair be turned yellow, because he is evidently unclean.

³⁷ But if the spot be stayed, and the hair be black, let him know that the man is healed, and let him confidently pronounce him clean.

³⁸ If a whiteness appear in the skin of a man or a woman,

³⁹ The priest shall view them. If he find that a darkish whiteness shineth in the skin, let him know that it is not the leprosy, but a white blemish, and that the man is clean.

⁴⁰ The man whose hair falleth off from his head, he is bald and clean:

⁴¹ And if the hair fall from his forehead, he is bald before and clean.

⁴² But if in the bald head or in the bald forehead there be risen a white or reddish colour,

⁴³ And the priest perceive this, he shall condemn him undoubtedly of leprosy which is risen in the bald part.

⁴⁴ Now whosoever shall be defiled with the leprosy, and is separated by the judgment of the priest,

⁴⁵ Shall have his clothes hanging loose, his head bare, his mouth covered with a cloth, and he shall cry out that he is defiled and unclean.

⁴⁶ All the time that he is a leper and unclean, he shall dwell alone without the camp.

⁴⁷ A woollen or linen garment that shall have the leprosy

⁴⁸ In the warp, and the woof, or a skin. or whatsoever is made of a skin,

⁴⁹ If it be infected with a white or red spot, it shall be accounted the leprosy, and shall be shewn to the priest.

³³ then the person must shave themselves except for the scaly area. The priest is to place the person in isolation for another seven days.

³⁴ On the seventh day the priest will inspect the scabby infection, and if it has not spread on the skin and doesn't seem to be more than superficial, the priest is to pronounce the person clean. They must wash their clothes and will be clean.

³⁵ However, if the scabby infection has spread on the skin after been declared clean,

³⁶ the priest must inspect them, and if the scabby infection has indeed spread on the skin, the priest doesn't need to check for pale hair; the person is unclean.

³⁷ But if the priest sees that the scabby infection hasn't changed, and black hair has grown in it, then it has healed. The person is clean, and the priest must declare it.

³⁸ If someone, man or woman, has white spots on the skin,

³⁹ the priest shall inspect them, and if the spots appear a dull white, it's just a rash that has developed on the skin; the person is clean.

⁴⁰ If a man loses his hair and goes bald, he is still clean.

⁴¹ If he has a receding hairline and he goes bald on his forehead, he is still clean.

⁴² But if a reddish-white sore appears on his bald head or forehead, it is an infectious disease developing.

⁴³ The priest must inspect him, and if the swelling of the sore on his bald head or forehead looks reddish-white like a skin disease,

⁴⁴ then he is has an infectious disease; he is unclean. The priest must declare him unclean because of the infection on his head.

⁴⁵ Anyone who has such diseases must wear clothes that are torn and let their hair remain uncombed. They must cover their faces and shout out, ‘Unclean, unclean!’

⁴⁶ They remain unclean as long as the infection lasts. They have to live alone somewhere outside the camp.

⁴⁷ The following regulations relate to any material that becomes affected by mold, such as wool or linen clothing,

⁴⁸ anything woven or knitted made from linen or wool, or anything made of leather:

⁴⁹ If the spot is green or red on the material, whether it's leather, woven, or knitted or some other leather item, then it is infected with mold and must be shown to the priest.

³³ Then he shalbe shauen, but the place of the blacke spot shall he not shaue: but the Priest shall shut vp him, that hath the blacke spot, seuen dayes more.

³⁴ And the seuenth day the Priest shall looke on the blacke spot: and if the blacke spot growe not in the skinne, nor seeme lower then the other skinne, then the Priest shall clense him, and hee shall wash his clothes, and be cleane.

³⁵ But if the blacke spot growe abroad in the flesh after his clensing,

³⁶ Then the Priest shall looke on it: and if the blacke spot grow in the skin, the Priest shall not seeke for the yelowe heare: for he is vncleane.

³⁷ But if ye blacke spot seeme to him to abide, and that blacke heare growe therein, the blacke spot is healed, he is cleane, and the Priest shall declare him to be cleane.

³⁸ Furthermore if there bee many white spots in the skin of the flesh of man or woman,

³⁹ Then the Priest shall consider: and if the spots in the skin of their flesh be somewhat darke and white withall, it is but a white spot broken out in the skin: therefore he is cleane.

⁴⁰ And the man whose heare is fallen off his head, and is balde, is cleane.

⁴¹ And if his head lose the heare on the forepart, and be balde before, he is cleane.

⁴² But if there be in the balde head, or in the balde forehead a white reddish sore, it is a leprosie springing in his balde head, or in his balde forehead.

⁴³ Therefore the Priest shall looke vpon it, and if the rising of the sore bee white reddish in his balde head, or in his bald forehead, appearing like leprosie in the skin of the flesh,

⁴⁴ He is a leper and vncleane: therefore the Priest shall pronounce him altogether vncleane: for the sore is in his head.

⁴⁵ The leper also in whom the plague is, shall haue his clothes rent, and his head bare, and shall put a couering vpon his lips, and shall cry, I am vncleane, I am vncleane.

⁴⁶ As long as the disease shall be vpon him, he shalbe polluted, for he is vncleane: he shall dwell alone, without the campe shall his habitation be.

⁴⁷ Also the garment that the plague of leprosie is in, whether it be a wollen garment or a linen garment,

⁴⁸ Whether it bee in the warpe or in ye woofe of linen or of wollen, either in a skin, or in any thing made of skin,

⁴⁹ And if the sore be greene or somewhat reddish in the garment or in ye skin, or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in any thing that is made of skin, it is a plague of leprosie and shalbe shewed vnto the Priest.

³³ then he shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more.

³⁸ And if a man or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

³⁹ then the priest shall look; and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be of a dull white, it is a tetter, it hath broken out in the skin: he is clean.

⁴⁰ And if a man's hair be fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

⁴¹ And if his hair be fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead-bald; yet is he clean.

⁴² But if there be in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague, it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

⁴³ Then the priest shall look upon him; and, behold, if the rising of the plague be reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh,

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man, he is unclean; the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean: his plague is in his head.

⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and the hair of his head shall go loose, and he shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry: 'Unclean, unclean.'

⁴¹ And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.

⁴² And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

⁴³ Then the priest shall look upon it: and behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean, his plague is in his head.

³⁸ And if there be a man or a woman having in the skin of their flesh bright spots, white bright spots;

³⁹ And if the priest do see, and, behold, there are in the skin of their flesh bright spots, pale and white: it is a freckly eruption grown in the skin; he is clean.

⁴⁰ And if there be a man whose hair of the head fall off, he is a bald head; he is clean.

⁴¹ And if from the side of his face his hair fall off, he is forehead-bald; he is clean.

⁴² But if there be on the bald head, or the bald forehead, an eruption, white and dark red: it is the leprosy sprung up on his bald head, or his bald forehead.

⁴³ And the priest shall see him; and, behold, if the swelling of the eruption be white and dark red on his bald head, or on his bald forehead, like the appearance of the leprosy on the other parts of the skin of the flesh:

⁴⁴ He is a leprous man, he is unclean; the priest shall pronounce him unclean; his plague is on his head.

⁴⁵ And the leper on whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head shall be bare, and he shall cover himself up to his upper lip, and, Unclean, unclean, shall he call out.

⁴⁶ All the days whereon the plague which rendereth unclean is on him, he shall be unclean; alone shall he dwell; without the camp shall his habitation be.

⁴⁷ And if there be a garment on which there arise a plague of leprosy, whether it be on a woollen garment, or on a linen garment;

⁴⁸ Whether it be on the warp, or on the woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether on a skin, or on any thing made of skin;

⁴⁹ And the plague be dark green or dark red, on the garment, or on the skin, or on the warp, or on the woof, or on any article made of skin: it is the plague of leprosy; and it shall be shown unto the priest.

³³ then the skin shall be shaven, but the scurf shall not be shaven; and the priest shall set aside the person having the scurf the second time for seven days.

³⁴ And the priest shall see the scurf on the seventh day; and, behold, if the scurf is not spread in the skin after the man’s being shaved, and the appearance of the scurf is not hollow beneath the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; and he shall wash his garments, and be clean.

³⁵ But if the scurf be indeed spread in the skin after he has been purified,

³⁶ then the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scurf be spread in the skin, the priest shall not examine concerning the yellow hair, for he is unclean.

³⁷ But if the scurf remain before him in its place, and a dark hair should have arisen in it, the scurf is healed: he is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

³⁸ And if a man or woman should have in the skin of their flesh spots of a bright whiteness,

³⁹ then the priest shall look; and, behold, there being bright spots of a bright whiteness in the skin of their flesh, it is a tetter; it bursts forth in the skin of his flesh; he is clean.

⁴⁰ And if anyone’s head should lose the hair, he is only bald, he is clean.

⁴¹ And if his head should lose the hair in front, he is forehead bald: he is clean.

⁴² And if there should be in his baldness of head, or his baldness of forehead, a white or fiery plague, it is leprosy in his baldness of head, or baldness of forehead.

⁴³ And the priest shall look upon him, and, behold, if the appearance of the plague be white or inflamed in his baldness of head or baldness in front, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of his flesh,

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man: the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean, his plague is in his head.

⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is, let his garments be ungirded, and his head uncovered; and let him have a covering put upon his mouth, and he shall be called unclean.

⁴⁶ All the days in which the plague shall be upon him, being unclean, he shall be esteemed unclean; he shall dwell apart, his place of sojourn shall be without the camp.

⁴⁷ And if a garment have in it the plague of leprosy, a garment of wool, or a garment of flax,

⁴⁸ either in the warp or in the woof, or in the linen, or in the woolen threads, or in a skin, or in any workmanship of skin,

⁴⁹ and the plague be greenish or reddish in the skin, or in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any utensil of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and he shall show it to the priest.

³³ He must shave around the scurfed spot; but the spot itself he must not shave; and the priest shall shut him up (who hath) the scurf a second seven days.

³⁴ And the priest shall look upon the scurf on the seventh day, and, behold, if the scurf is not increased in the skin, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, the priest shall make him clean; and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.

³⁵ But if the scurf increase in the skin after that he hath been (pronounced) clean,

³⁶ The priest shall inspect him, and, behold, if the scurf be increased in the skin, the priest need not seek for the reddish hair; he is unclean.

³⁷ But if the scurf abide as it was, and black hair have sprung up in it, the scurf hath healed, he is clean, and the priest shall make him to be clean.

³⁸ And if a man or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright white spots,

³⁹ Then the priest shall look, and, behold, if the spots in the skin of their flesh be dim white, it is a freckle growing in the skin; he is clean.

⁴⁰ And if a man’s hair fall off from his head, he is bald, but he is clean.

⁴¹ And if the hair of his head fall off toward his face, he is partly bald, but is clean.

⁴² But if in the baldness or partial baldness there be a whitish-red scar, it is leprosy growing in the baldness or partial baldness.

⁴³ Then the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague spot be whitish-red in the baldness or the partial baldness, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh,

⁴⁴ The man is a leper, he is unclean; and the priest shall verily make him to be unclean; his plague is in his head.

⁴⁵ And the leper in whom is the plague, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bared; and, like the mourner, he shall be covered unto his lip, and shall cry: Be not made unclean! Be not made unclean!

⁴⁶ All the days that the plague is upon him shall he be unclean; he is unclean; he shall dwell apart, his habitation shall be without the camp.

⁴⁷ The garment which hath the plague of leprosy in it, whether it be in a garment of woollen or of linen,

⁴⁸ Whether in the warp or in the woof of linen or of woolen, or in leather, or anything made of skin:

⁴⁹ If the plague be green or red in the garment or in the skin, whether in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and must be showed to the priest.

³³ then he shall be shaved, but he shall not shave the itch; and the priest shall shut him up who has the itch seven more days.

³⁴ On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and behold, if the itch has not spread in the skin, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

³⁵ But if the itch spreads in the skin after his cleansing,

³⁶ then the priest shall examine him; and behold, if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for the yellow hair; he is unclean.

³⁷ But if in his eyes the itch is arrested, and black hair has grown in it; the itch is healed, he is clean. The priest shall pronounce him clean. (RY:3, LY:6)

³⁹ then the priest shall examine them; and behold, if the bright spots on the skin of their body are a dull white, it is a harmless rash, it has broken out in the skin; he is clean.

⁴⁰ “If a man’s hair has fallen from his head, he is bald. He is clean.

⁴¹ If his hair has fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald. He is clean.

⁴² But if there is in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague; it is tzara'at breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

⁴³ Then the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the rising of the plague is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, like the appearance of tzara'at in the skin of the flesh,

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head.

⁴⁵ “The leper in whom the plague is shall wear torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’

⁴⁶ All the days in which the plague is in him he shall be unclean. He is unclean. He shall dwell alone. Outside of the camp shall be his dwelling.

⁴⁷ “The garment also that the plague of tzara'at is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment;

⁴⁸ whether it is in linen, or in wool; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin;

⁴⁹ if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the linnen, or in the woof, or in anything made of skin; it is the plague of tzara'at, and shall be shown to the priest.

³³ then he must be shaved, but the diseased area must not be shaved, and the priest must isolate the person with the itching disease for seven more days.

³⁴ On the seventh day the priest will examine the disease to see if it has stopped spreading in the skin. If it appears to be no deeper than the skin, then the priest must pronounce him clean. The person must wash his clothes, and then he will be clean.

³⁵ But if the itching disease has spread widely in the skin after the priest said he was clean,

³⁶ then the priest must examine him again. If the disease has spread in the skin, the priest does not need to seek for yellow hair. The person is unclean.

³⁷ But if in the priest's view the itching disease has stopped spreading and black hair has grown in the area, then the disease has healed. He is clean, and the priest must pronounce him clean.

³⁸ If a man or a woman has white spots on the skin,

³⁹ then the priest must examine the person to see if the spots are a dull white, which is only a rash that has broken out in the skin. He is clean.

⁴⁰ If a man's hair has fallen out of his head, he is bald, but he is clean.

⁴¹ If his hair has fallen out of the front part of his head, and if his forehead is bald, he is clean.

⁴² But if there is a reddish-white sore on his bald head or forehead, it is an infectious disease that has broken out.

⁴³ Then the priest must examine him to see if the swelling of the diseased area on his bald head or forehead is reddish-white, like the appearance of an infectious disease in the skin.

⁴⁴ If it is, then he has an infectious disease and he is unclean. The priest must surely pronounce him unclean because of his disease on his head.

⁴⁵ The person who has an infectious disease must wear torn clothes, his hair must hang loosely, and he must cover his face up to his nose and call out, 'Unclean, unclean.'

⁴⁶ All the days that he has the infectious disease he will be unclean. Because he is unclean with a disease that can spread, he must live alone. He must live outside the camp.

⁴⁷ A garment that is contaminated with mildew, whether it is a wool or linen garment,

⁴⁸ or anything woven or knitted from wool or linen, or leather or anything made with leather—

⁴⁹ if there is a greenish or reddish contamination in the garment, the leather, the woven or knitted material, or anything made of leather, then it is a mildew that spreads; it must be shown to the priest.

³³ then he shall be shaved, but he shall not shave the itch. Then the priest shall isolate the one who has the itch seven more days.

³⁴ On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread in the skin, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes and be clean.

³⁵ But if the itch spreads in the skin after his cleansing,

⁴² But if a reddish-white plague is in the bald head or the bald forehead, it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head or his bald forehead.

⁴³ Then the priest shall examine him. Behold, if the swelling of the plague is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the body,

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head.

⁴⁵ “The leper in whom the plague is shall wear torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’

⁴⁶ All the days in which the plague is in him he shall be unclean. He is unclean. He shall dwell alone. His dwelling shall be outside of the camp.

⁴⁷ “The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment;

⁴⁸ whether it is in warp or woof; of linen or of wool; whether in a leather, or in anything made of leather;

⁴⁹ if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the leather, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything made of leather; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shown to the priest.

³⁶ Then the priest shall look on him: and behold, if the scall is spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.

³⁷ But if the scall shall be in his sight at a stay, and there is black hair grown in it; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

³⁸ If a man also or a woman shall have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

³⁹ Then the priest shall look: and behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh are darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.

⁴⁰ And the man whose hair hath fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

⁴¹ And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head towards his face, he is forehead-bald; yet is he clean.

⁴² And if there is in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up on his bald head, or his bald forehead.

⁴³ Then the priest shall look upon it: and behold, if the rising of the sore is white reddish on his bald head, or on his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

⁴⁴ He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is , his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

⁴⁶ All the days in which the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone, without the camp shall his habitation be .

³⁵ Else if after the cleansing, a spot waxeth again in the skin,

³⁶ the priest shall no more inquire, whether the hair is changed into white colour, for apertly he is unclean.

³⁷ Soothly if the spot standeth still, and the hairs be black, know then the priest that the man is healed, and trustily pronounce he the man clean.

³⁸ A man or a woman, in whose skin whiteness appeareth,

³⁹ the priest shall behold them; if he perceiveth, that whiteness some-deal dark shineth in the skin, know he, that it is no leprosy, but a spot of white colour, and that the man is clean.

⁴⁰ A man of whose head the hairs float away, he is bald, and clean;

⁴¹ and if the hairs fall from the forehead, he is bald, and is clean;

⁴² else if in the baldness before, either in the baldness behind, white either red colour is bred, or is sprung up,

⁴³ and the priest seeth this, he shall condemn the man, without doubt of leprosy, which is bred in the baldness.

⁴⁴ Therefore whoever is defouled with leprosy, and is separated from other men, at the doom of the priest,

⁴⁵ he shall have his clothes unsewed, and his head bare, and his mouth covered with a cloth, and he shall cry himself defouled, and vile;

⁴⁶ in all the time that he is leprous and unclean, he shall dwell alone, without the tents.

⁴⁷ A woollen cloth, either linen,

⁴⁸ that hath leprosy in the warp, either woof, either certainly a skin, or a pilch, either whatever thing is made of skin,

⁴⁹ if it is corrupted with a white spot, either red, it shall be areckoned leprosy, and it shall be showed to the priest;

³³ the man shall be shaven, without the place of the wem, and he shall be closed again by seven other days. (the man, or the woman, shall be shaved, except for the place of the sore, and they shall be enclosed again for another seven days.)

³⁴ If in the seventh day the wound, or soreness, is seen to have stand in his place, neither (it) is lower than the tother flesh, the priest shall cleanse the man; and when his clothes be washed, he shall be clean. (If on the seventh day, the sore is seen to have stood in its place, nor is it any lower than the other flesh, the priest shall pronounce them to be clean; and when their clothes be washed, they shall be clean.)

³⁵ Else if after the cleansing, a spot waxeth again in the skin, (But if, after they be pronounced clean, a spot groweth again, or spreadeth, in the skin,)

³⁶ the priest shall no more inquire, whether the hair is changed into white colour, for apertly he is unclean. (the priest shall inquire no more, whether the hair is changed to white colour, or not, for they be openly unclean.)

³⁷ Soothly if the spot standeth still, and the hairs be black, know then the priest that the man is healed, and trustily pronounce he the man clean. (But if the spot standeth still, and the hairs be black, then let the priest know that they be healed, and trustily pronounce he that they be clean.)

³⁸ A man or a woman, in whose skin whiteness appeareth,

³⁹ the priest shall behold them; if he perceiveth, that whiteness some-deal dark shineth in the skin, know he, that it is no leprosy, but a spot of white colour, and that the man is clean. (the priest shall examine them; if he perceiveth that a somewhat dark whiteness shineth in the skin, know he, that it is not leprosy, but a spot of white colour, and they be clean.)

⁴⁰ A man of whose head the hairs float away, he is bald, and clean; (A man from whose head the hairs float away, he is bald, and is clean;)

⁴¹ and if the hairs fall from the forehead, he is bald, and is clean;

⁴² else if in the baldness before, either in the baldness behind, (or but if in the baldness at the front, or in the baldness at the back), white either red colour is bred, or is sprung up,

⁴³ and the priest seeth this, he shall condemn the man, without (any) doubt of (him having) leprosy, which is bred in the baldness.

⁴⁴ Therefore whoever is defouled with leprosy, and is separated from other men, at the doom of the priest (or by the priest’s pronouncement),

⁴⁵ he shall have his clothes unsewed (or he shall wear torn clothes), and his head (shall be) bare, and his mouth (shall be) covered with a cloth, and he shall cry himself (to be) defouled, and vile;

⁴⁶ in all the time that he is leprous and unclean, he shall dwell alone, without the tents. (and in all the time that he is leprous and unclean, he shall live alone, away from the tents.)

⁴⁷ A woollen cloth, either linen, (A woollen cloak, or a linen one,)

⁴⁸ that hath leprosy in the warp, either woof, either certainly a skin, or a pilch, either whatever thing is made of skin,

⁴⁹ if it is corrupted with a white spot, either red, it shall be areckoned (to be) leprosy, and it shall be showed to the priest;

³³ the man schal be schauun, without the place of wem, and he schal be closid eft bi seuene othere daies.

³⁴ If in the seuenthe day the wounde is seyn to haue stonde in his place, nether is lowere than the tother fleisch, the preest schal clense the man; and whanne his clothis ben waischun, he schal be cleene.

³⁵ Ellis if aftir the clensyng a spotte wexith eft in the skyn,

³⁶ the preest schal no more enquere, whether the heer is chaungid in to whijt colour, for apeertli he is vncleene.

³⁷ Sotheli if the spotte stondith, and the heeris ben blake, knowe the preest that the man is heelid, and tristili `pronounce he the man cleene.

³⁸ A man ethir a womman, in whos skyn whijtnesse apperith, the preest schal biholde hem;

³⁹ if he perseyueth, that whijtnesse `sum deel derk schyneth in the skyn, wite he, that it is no lepre, but a spotte of whijt colour, and that the man is cleene.

⁴⁰ A man of whos heed heeris fleten awei, is calu, and clene;

⁴¹ and if heeris fallen fro the forheed, he is ballid,

⁴² and is cleene; ellis if in the ballidnesse bifore, ether in the ballidnesse bihynde, whijt ether reed colour is bred, and the preest seeth this,

⁴³ he schal condempne the man without doute of lepre, which is bred in the ballidnesse.

⁴⁴ Therfor whoeuer is defoulid with lepre, and is departid at the doom of the preest,

⁴⁵ he schal haue hise clothis vnsewid, bareheed, the mouth hilid with a cloth, he schal crye hym silf defoulid, and viyl;

⁴⁶ in al tyme in which he is lepre and vnclene, he schal dwelle aloone without the castels.

⁴⁷ A wollun cloth, ethir lynnun, that hath lepre in the warp,

⁴⁸ ethir oof, ethir certis a skyn, ether what euer thing is maad of skiyn,

⁴⁹ if it is corrupt with a whijt spotte, ethir reed, it schal be arettid lepre, and it schal be schewid to the preest;

³³ then he hath shaved himself, but the scall he doth not shave; and the priest hath shut up him who hath the scall a second seven days.

³⁴ And the priest hath seen the scall on the seventh day, and lo, the scall hath not spread in the skin, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and the priest hath pronounced him clean, and he hath washed his garments, and hath been clean.

³⁵ 'And if the scall spread greatly in the skin after his cleansing,

³⁶ and the priest hath seen him, and lo, the scall hath spread in the skin, the priest seeketh not for the shining hair, he is unclean;

³⁷ and if in his eyes the scall hath stayed, and black hair hath sprung up in it, the scall hath been healed — he is clean — and the priest hath pronounced him clean.

³⁸ 'And when a man or woman hath in the skin of their flesh bright spots, white bright spots,

³⁹ and the priest hath seen, and lo, in the skin of their flesh white weak bright spots, it is a freckled spot broken out in the skin; he is clean.

⁴⁰ 'And when a man's head is polished, he is bald, he is clean;

⁴¹ and if from the corner of his face his head is polished, he is bald of the forehead; he is clean.

⁴² 'And when there is in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead, a very red white plague, it is a leprosy breaking out in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead;

⁴³ and the priest hath seen him, and lo, the rising of the very red white plague in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead, is as the appearance of leprosy, in the skin of the flesh,

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man, he is unclean; the priest doth pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

⁴⁵ 'As to the leper in whom is the plague, his garments are rent, and his head is uncovered, and he covereth over the upper lip, and 'Unclean! unclean!' he calleth;

⁴⁶ all the days that the plague is in him he is unclean; he is unclean, alone he doth dwell, at the outside of the camp is his dwelling.

⁴⁷ 'And when there is in any garment a plague of leprosy, — in a garment of wool, or in a garment of linen,

⁴⁸ or in the warp, or in the woof, of linen or of wool, or in a skin, or in any work of skin,

⁴⁹ and the plague hath been very green or very red in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any vessel of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and it hath been shewn the priest.
