²² and if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.

²³ But if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread, it is the scar of the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

²⁴ Or when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a burning by fire, and the quick flesh of the burning become a bright spot, reddish-white, or white;

²³ But if that spot is unchanged and has not spread, it is only a scar from the boil, and the priest will declare that the person is permitted to be with other people again.

²⁴ When someone has a burn on his skin and a bright/shiny or white spot appears, and the flesh in that area is sensitive/painful,

²⁵ the priest must examine the spot. If the hair in that spot has turned white and it seems to be deeper than just on the surface of the skin, it is a contagious skin disease that has appeared where the burn was, and that person must stay away from other people.

²⁶ But when the priest examines it and sees that there is no white hair in that spot and it is only on the surface of the skin, and has faded, the priest will declare that the person must stay away from people for seven days.

²⁷ On the seventh day, the priest will examine him again. If the sore is spreading, it is a contagious skin disease, and the priest will declare that the person must stay away from other people.

²⁴ Or if there is a burn on the skin of the flesh, and if the diseased flesh in the burn becomes a bright place, red and white or white,

²⁵ The priest is to see it: and if the hair on the bright place is turned white and it seems to go deeper than the skin, he is a leper: it has come out in the burn, and the priest will say that he is unclean: it is the leper's disease.

²⁶ But if, after looking at it, the priest sees that there is no white hair on the bright place, and it is not deeper than the skin, and is not very bright, then let the priest keep him shut up for seven days:

²⁷ And the priest is to see him again on the seventh day; if it is increased in the skin, then the priest will say that he is unclean: it is the leper's disease.

²² and if it spread much in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the sore.

²³ But if the bright spot have remained in its place, and have not spread, it is the scar of the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

²⁴ Or if in the flesh, in the skin thereof, there is a burning inflammation, and the place of the inflammation become a bright spot white-reddish or white,

²⁵ and the priest look on it, and behold, the hair is turned white in the bright spot, and it looketh deeper than the skin, it is a leprosy which is broken out in the inflammation; and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the sore of leprosy.

²⁶ But if the priest look on it, and behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it is no deeper than the skin, and is pale, the priest shall shut him up seven days.

²⁷ And the priest shall look on him the seventh day, and if it have spread much in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the sore of leprosy.

²² And if it spread, he shall judge him to have the leprosy:

²³ But if it stay in its place, it is but the scar of an ulcer, and the man shall be clean.

²⁴ The flesh also and skin that hath been burnt, and after it is healed hath a white or a red scar,

²⁵ The priest shall view it, and if he see it turned white, and the place thereof is lower than the other skin: he shall declare him unclean, because the evil of leprosy is broken out in the scar.

²⁶ But if the colour of the hair be not changed, nor the blemish lower than the other flesh, and the appearance of the leprosy be somewhat obscure, he shall shut him up seven days,

²⁷ And on the seventh day he shall view him: if the leprosy be grown farther in the skin, he shall declare him unclean.

²² If then the spot has spread further on the skin, the priest will declare them unclean; it is a disease.

²³ But if the spot stays the same and doesn't spread, it's just the scar from the boil, and the priest will declare them clean.

²⁴ If someone has a burn on their skin and where it's raw changes into a reddish-white or white spot,

²⁵ the priest must inspect it. If the hair in the spot has turned white and the spot seems to be more than something on the surface, it is a serious skin disease that has infected the burn, and the priest who inspects it will declare the person unclean. It is an infectious skin disease.

²⁶ However, if when the priest inspects it, it doesn't have white hair in it and doesn't seem to be more than superficial, and has faded, the priest is to place the person in isolation for seven days.

²⁷ On the seventh day the priest will inspect the person again. If then the spot has spread further on the skin, the priest will declare them unclean; it is a serious skin disease.

²² And if it spred abroad in the flesh, ye Priest shall pronounce him vncleane, for it is a sore.

²³ But if the spot continue in his place, and growe not, it is a burning bile: therefore the Priest shall declare him to be cleane.

²⁴ If there be any flesh, in whose skin there is an hote burning, and the quick flesh of ye burning haue a white spot, somewhat reddish or pale,

²⁵ Then the Priest shall looke vpon it: and if the heare in that spot be changed into white, and it appeare lower then the skin, it is a leprosie broken out in the burning therefore the Priest shall pronounce him vncleane: for it is the plague of leprosie.

²⁶ But if the Priest looke on it, and there be no white heare in the spot, and be no lower then the other skinne, but be darker, then the Priest shall shut him vp seuen dayes.

²⁷ After, the Priest shall looke on him the seuenth day: if it be growen abroad in the skinne, then the Priest shall pronounce him vncleane: for it is the plague of leprosie.

²⁵ the priest shall look upon it, and, behold, if the hair be white in the bright spot, and the appearance be deeper than the skin, it is leprosy increasing in the wound, and the priest shall make him unclean; it is the plague of leprosy.

²⁶ But if the priest see it, and, behold, the hair is not white in the spot, and it is not deeper than the skin, and is becoming obscure, the priest shall seclude him seven days.

²⁷ And the priest shall look upon him on the seventh day; if, increasing, it increaseth in the skin, the priest shall make him to be unclean; it is the plague of leprosy.

²² and soothly, if his sore waxeth, the priest shall deem the man to be a leper;

²³ forsooth if it standeth in his place, it is a sign of a botch, and the man shall be clean.

²⁴ Flesh, and skin, which the fire hath burnt, and is healed, and hath a white, either red, sign of wound, the priest shall behold it,

²⁵ and lo! if it is turned into white-ness, and the place thereof is lower than the tother skin, the priest shall defoul the man, for a wound or the plague of leprosy is bred or sprung in the sign of wound.

²⁶ That if the colour of the hairs is not changed, neither the wound, or soreness, is lower than the tother flesh, and that species of leprosy is some-deal dark, the priest shall enclose the man seven days;

²⁷ and in the seventh day he shall behold him; if the leprosy waxeth in the flesh, the priest shall defoul the man;

²² and soothly, if his sore waxeth, the priest shall deem the man to be (a) leper; (and if his sore groweth, or spreadeth, the priest shall pronounce him to be a leper;)

²³ forsooth if it standeth in his place, it is a sign of a botch, and the man shall be clean. (but if it standeth in its place, it is the sign of a boil, or of a sore, and the priest shall pronounce him to be clean.)

²⁴ Flesh, and skin, which the fire hath burnt, and is (now) healed, and hath a white, either red, sign of (a) wound, the priest shall behold it (or the priest shall examine it),

²⁵ and lo! if it is turned into whiteness, and the place thereof is lower than the tother skin, the priest shall defoul the man (or the priest shall pronounce him to be defiled, or unclean), for a wound of leprosy is bred in the sign of (the) wound or for the plague of leprosy is sprung in the fell wound.

²⁶ That if the colour of the hairs is not changed, neither the wound, or soreness, is lower than the tother flesh, and that species of leprosy is some-deal dark, the priest shall close the man seven days; (But if the colour of the hairs is not changed, and the sore is not lower than the other flesh, and that kind of leprosy is somewhat dark, the priest shall enclose the man for seven days;)

²⁷ and in the seventh day he shall behold him; if the leprosy waxeth in the flesh, the priest shall defoul the man, (that is, shall deem him to be defiled, or unclean); (and on the seventh day he shall examine him; if the leprosy hath grown, or spread, in the flesh, the priest shall pronounce him to be defiled, or unclean;)

²² and sotheli, if it wexith, the preest schal deme the man of lepre;

²³ forsothe if it stondith in his place, it is a signe of botche, and the man schal be cleene.

²⁴ Fleisch and skyn, which the fier hath brent, and is heelid, and hath a whijt ethir reed `signe of wounde,

²⁵ the preest schal biholde it, and lo! if it is turned in to whijtnesse, and the place therof is lowere than the tothir skyn, the preest schal defoule the man, for a wounde of lepre is bred in the `signe of wounde.

²⁶ That if the colour of heeris is not chaungid, nether the wounde is lowere than the tother fleisch, and thilke spice of lepre is sumdeel derk, the preest schal close the man bi seuene daies;

²⁷ and in the seuenthe dai he schal biholde; if the lepre wexith in the fleisch, the preest schal defoule the man;

²² and if it spread greatly in the skin, then hath the priest pronounced him unclean, it is a plague;

²³ and if in its place the bright spot stay — it hath not spread — it is an inflammation of the ulcer; and the priest hath pronounced him clean.

²⁴ 'Or when flesh hath in its skin a fiery burning, and the quickening of the burning, the bright white spot, hath been very red or white,

²⁵ and the priest hath seen it, and lo, the hair hath turned white in the bright spot, and its appearance is deeper than the skin; leprosy it is, in the burning it hath broken out, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it is a plague of leprosy.

²⁶ 'And if the priest see it, and lo, there is no white hair on the bright spot, and it is not lower than the skin, and it is become weak, then the priest hath shut him up seven days;

²⁷ and the priest hath seen him on the seventh day, if it spread greatly in the skin, then the priest hath pronounced him unclean; a plague of leprosy it is.
