Leviticus 12:1-2 in English

¹ And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

² Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a man-child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the impurity of her sickness shall she be unclean.

¹ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

² Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whatsoever woman shall have conceived and born a male child shall be unclean seven days, she shall be unclean according to the days of separation for her monthly courses.

¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

² Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

² Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

¹ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹ Yahweh also said to Moses/me,

² “Tell this to the Israeli people: If a woman gives birth to a son, she must be avoided for seven days, like she must be avoided when she is menstruating each month.

¹ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

² Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, Whatsoever woman shall have conceived and born a male child shall be unclean seven days, she shall be unclean according to the days of separation for her monthly courses.

¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

² “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.

² Say to the children of Israel, If a woman is with child and gives birth to a male child, she will be unclean for seven days, as when she is unwell.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

² Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: If a woman having received seed shall bear a man child, she shall be unclean seven days, according to the days of the separation of her flowers.

¹ The Lord told Moses, “Give these instructions to the Israelites.

² Any woman who becomes pregnant and has a boy, she will be unclean for one week, in the same way that she is unclean during her period.

¹ And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

² Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, When a woman hath brought forth seede, and borne a manchilde, shee shalbe vncleane seuen dayes, like as she is vncleane when she is put apart for her disease.

¹ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

² Speak unto the children of Israel, saying: If a woman be delivered, and bear a man-child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the impurity of her sickness shall she be unclean.

¹ And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

² Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

¹ And the Lord spake with Mosheh saying:

² Speak with the children of Israel, saying: A woman, when she hath conceived and borne a male child, shall be unclean seven days; according to the days for the removal of her uncleanness, (or, her seclusion from her uncleanness,) she shall be unclean.

¹ Adonai spoke to Moses Drawn out, saying,

² “Speak to the children of Israel God prevails, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.

¹ Yahweh said to Moses,

² “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, 'If a woman conceives and gives birth to a male child, then she will be unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during the days of her monthly period.

¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

² “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.

¹ The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

² Speak thou to the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, If a woman, when she hath received seed, childeth a knave child, she shall be unclean by seven days, by the days of her separating of corruptible blood, that runneth from her by months;

¹ And the Lord spake to Moses, and said,

² Speak thou to the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, If a woman, when she hath received seed, childeth a knave child, she shall be unclean by seven days, by the days of her separating of corruptible blood, that runneth from her by months; (Speak thou to the Israelites, and thou shalt say to them, If a woman, when she hath received seed, beareth a boy, she shall be unclean for seven days, as she is in the days of her separation for the corrupt blood that runneth from her every month;)

¹ And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,

² and thou schalt seie to hem, If a womman, whanne sche hath resseyued seed, childith a knaue child, sche schal be vnclene bi seuene daies bi the daies of departyng of corrupt blood, that renneth bi monethis;

¹ And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

² 'Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, A woman when she giveth seed, and hath born a male, then she hath been unclean seven days, according to the days of separation for her sickness she is unclean;
