John 6:2-6

²And a large crowd was following Him, because they were seeing His signs which He was doing upon those who were sick.

³And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat down with His disciples.

⁴Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was near.

⁵Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these people may eat?”

⁶But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He was about to do.
