Acts 2:42-43

⁴²They all kept meeting together with the Christians and they listened to everything the close followers of Jesus taught them. They were like a big family. They had meals together and remembered that Jesus died for them, and they prayed together to God.

⁴³God gave power to the close followers of Jesus and they did powerful things. So all the people really respected God.
