Acts 14:23-28

²³Then Paul and Barnabas picked leaders for the Christians in each church. After that they stopped eating for a while and prayed for those leaders. They prayed, “Jesus, our leader, these men believe in you now, so we ask you to look after them all the time.”

²⁴Then Paul and Barnabas left that place and went through that Pisidia country and they came to the country called Pamphylia.

²⁵In a town called Perga they talked to the people about Jesus, then they went to the town called Attalia near the sea.

²⁶They got on a ship at Attalia and went back to Antioch, in Syria country. Some time before that, the Christians at Antioch asked God to look after those 2 men and be good to them, and after that they sent them out to tell people about Jesus. So, after Paul and Barnabas finished that work, they went back to the Christians at Antioch.

²⁷Then Paul and Barnabas got all those Christians to meet together, and they told them all about the things God helped them do. They said, “We told the people that are not Jews about Jesus and God gave them the chance to believe in him.”

²⁸After that Paul and Barnabas stayed there a long time, with the Christians at Antioch.
