Psalms 95:8-11

⁸“Harden not your hearts as at Meribah the strife, As in the day of temptation Massah in the wilderness,

⁹Where your fathers tempted me And tried me, although they had seen my works.

¹⁰Forty years was I offended with that generation: And I said, 'They are a people of a perverse heart, And who have no regard to my ways.'

¹¹Therefore I sware, in my wrath, That they should not enter into my rest.”
