Proverbs 3:7-16 in American Standard Version (1901)

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes; Fear Jehovah, and depart from evil:
8 It will be health to thy navel, And marrow to thy bones.
9 Honor Jehovah with thy substance, And with the first-fruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, And thy vats shall overflow with new wine.
11 My son, despise not the chastening of Jehovah; Neither be weary of his reproof:
12 For whom Jehovah loveth he reproveth, Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, And the man that getteth understanding.
14 For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, And the profit thereof than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies: And none of the things thou canst desire are to be compared unto her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor.
Proverbs 3 in American Standard Version (1901)

Proverbs 3:7-16 in Brenton Septuagint Translation

7 Be not wise in thine own conceit; but fear God, and depart from all evil.
8 Then shall there be health to thy body, and good keeping to thy bones.
9 Honour the Lord with thy just labours, and give him the first of thy fruits of righteousness:
10 that thy storehouses may be completely filled with corn, and that thy presses may burst forth with wine.
11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
12 for whom the Lord loves, he rebukes, and scourges every son whom he receives.
13 Blessed is the man who has found wisdom, and the mortal who knows prudence.
14 For it is better to traffic for her, than for treasures of gold and silver.
15 And she is more valuable than precious stones: no evil thing shall resist her: she is well known to all that approach her, and no precious thing is equal to her in value.
16 For length of existence and years of life are in her right hand; and in her left hand are wealth and glory:
16a out of her mouth proceeds righteousness, and she carries law and mercy upon her tongue.

Proverbs 3:7-16 in Translation for Translators

7 Do not be proud of being wise. Instead, revere Yahweh and turn away from doing evil.
8 If you do that, your body will be healthy/strong; it will be like medicine for you.
9 Honor Yahweh by what you do with your money; and by giving him the first part of your harvest.
10 If you do that, you will have a good harvest. Yahweh will fill your barns with grain, and your vats/containers will be overflowing with grape juice for making wine.
11 My son, when Yahweh disciplines/corrects you, do not despise it, and if he rebukes you, do not resent it.
12 I say that because it is the people whom Yahweh loves that he corrects/reproves, just like parents correct/reprove their sons whom they love.
13 Yahweh is pleased with those who become wise and have good understanding.
14 Being wise and having good understanding is worth more than silver, better than gold.
15 Being wise is more precious than ◄jewels/precious stones►; there is nothing that you could desire that would be as valuable as wisdom.
16 On the one hand, wisdom PRS enables you to live a long life, and on the other hand, wisdom enables you to become rich and to be honored.

Proverbs 3:7-16 in Bible in Basic English

7 Put no high value on your wisdom: let the fear of the Lord be before you, and keep yourself from evil:
8 This will give strength to your flesh, and new life to your bones.
9 Give honour to the Lord with your wealth, and with the first-fruits of all your increase:
10 So your store-houses will be full of grain, and your vessels overflowing with new wine.
11 My son, do not make your heart hard against the Lord's teaching; do not be made angry by his training:
12 For to those who are dear to him the Lord says sharp words, and makes the son in whom he has delight undergo pain.
13 Happy is the man who makes discovery of wisdom, and he who gets knowledge.
14 For trading in it is better than trading in silver, and its profit greater than bright gold.
15 She is of more value than jewels, and nothing for which you may have a desire is fair in comparison with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand, and in her left are wealth and honour.

8 For why health shall be in thy navel, and moisting of thy bones. (For that shall be health for thy body, or thy entrails, and moistening for thy bones.)
9 Honour thou the Lord of thy chattel, and of the best of all thy fruits give thou to poor men; (Honour thou the Lord with thy possessions, and with the best of all thy fruits, or of all thy earnings;)
10 and (then) thy barns shall be filled with abundance, and thy pressers shall flow with wine (or and thy winepresses shall flow with wine).
11 My son, cast thou not away the teaching of the Lord; and fail thou not, when thou art chastised of him, (or and faint thou not, or and spurn thou him not, when thou art disciplined by him).
12 For the Lord chastiseth him, whom he loveth; and as a father in the son he pleaseth him (or and like a father to his son who pleaseth him).
13 Blessed is the man that findeth wisdom, and that floweth with prudence. (Blessed is the person who findeth wisdom, and who floweth with understanding.)
14 The getting thereof is better than the merchandise of gold and of silver; the fruits thereof be the first and the cleanest.
15 It is more precious than all riches; and all things that be desired, may not be comparisoned to this, (or and nothing that is desired, can be compared to it).
16 Length of days is in the right half thereof, and riches and glory be in the left half thereof. (Length of days is in its right hand, and riches and glory be in its left hand.)

Proverbs 3:7-16 in Young's Literal Translation

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes, Fear Jehovah, and turn aside from evil.
8 Healing it is to thy navel, And moistening to thy bones.
9 Honour Jehovah from thy substance, And from the beginning of all thine increase;
10 And filled are thy barns with plenty, And with new wine thy presses break forth.
11 Chastisement of Jehovah, my son, despise not, And be not vexed with His reproof,
12 For whom Jehovah loveth He reproveth, Even as a father the son He is pleased with.
13 O the happiness of a man who hath found wisdom, And of a man who bringeth forth understanding.
14 For better is her merchandise Than the merchandise of silver, And than gold — her increase.
15 Precious she is above rubies, And all thy pleasures are not comparable to her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand, In her left are wealth and honour.
