²⁹ Devise not evil against thy neighbor, Seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.

³⁰ Strive not with a man without cause, If he have done thee no harm.

³¹ Envy thou not the man of violence, And choose none of his ways.

³² For the perverse is an abomination to Jehovah; But his friendship is with the upright.

³³ The curse of Jehovah is in the house of the wicked; But he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.

³² I say that because Yahweh considers such people to be abominable/detestable; but he is a friend to all those who do what is right.

³³ Yahweh curses the families MTY of those who are wicked, but he blesses the families of those who are good/righteous.

³³ The houses of the wicked are cursed by the Lord, but he blesses the homes of those who live right.

³⁰ Strive thou not against a man without cause, when he doeth none evil to thee. (Do not thou argue with someone for no reason, when he hath done nothing wrong to thee.)

³¹ Follow thou not an unjust man (or Do not thou follow a law-breaker), follow thou not his ways.

³² For each deceiver is (an) abomination to the Lord; and his speaking is with simple men (or and the Lord speaketh to those who be honest, or have integrity).

³³ Neediness is sent of the Lord in(to) the house of a wicked man; but the dwelling places of just men shall be blessed. (Neediness is sent by the Lord into the houses of the wicked; but the dwelling places of the righteous shall be blessed.)

²⁹ Devise not against thy neighbour evil, And he sitting confidently with thee.

³⁰ Strive not with a man without cause, If he have not done thee evil.

³¹ Be not envious of a man of violence, Nor fix thou on any of his ways.

³² For an abomination to Jehovah is the perverted, And with the upright is His secret counsel.
