²² So shall they be life unto thy soul, And grace to thy neck.

²³ Then shalt thou walk in thy way securely, And thy foot shall not stumble.

²⁴ When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: Yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

²⁵ Be not afraid of sudden fear, Neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh:

²⁶ For Jehovah will be thy confidence, And will keep thy foot from being taken.

²² that thy soul may live, and that there may be grace round thy neck;

^22a and it shall be health to thy flesh, and safety to thy bones:

²³ that thou mayest go confidently in peace in all thy ways, and that thy foot may not stumble.

²⁴ For if thou rest, thou shalt be undismayed; and if thou sleep, thou shalt slumber sweetly.

²⁵ And thou shalt not be afraid of alarm coming upon thee, neither of approaching attacks of ungodly men.

²⁶ For the Lord shall be over all thy ways, and shall establish thy foot that thou be not moved.

²³ If you do what is right and wise, you will be able to walk safely, and you will not ◄stumble/do things that are wrong► MET.

²⁴ You will be able to lie down at night and not be afraid of anything, and you will sleep peacefully.

²⁵ You will not be afraid that something disastrous will happen to you or that storms that strike the wicked will strike you,

²⁶ because you will be confident that Yahweh will take care of you. He will not let your foot be caught in a trap/snare.

²⁵ Have no fear of sudden danger, or of the storm which will come on evil-doers:

²⁶ For the Lord will be your hope, and will keep your foot from being taken in the net.

²² so shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace unto thy neck.

²⁴ when thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid, but thou shalt lie down and thy sleep shall be sweet.

²⁶ for Jehovah shall be thy confidence, and he will keep thy foot from being taken.

²² And there shall be life to thy soul, and grace to thy mouth.

²³ Then shalt thou walk confidently in thy way, and thy foot shall not stumble:

²⁴ If thou sleep, thou shalt not fear: thou shalt rest, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

²⁵ Be not afraid of sudden fear, nor of the power of the wicked falling upon thee.

²⁶ For the Lord will be at thy side, and will keep thy foot that thou be not taken.

²² for they will be life to you, and an ornament for your neck.

²³ You will be able to walk confidently on your way, and you won't trip up.

²⁴ When you rest, you won't be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

²⁵ You won't be afraid of a sudden panic, or of disasters that hit the wicked,

²⁶ for the Lord will be the one you can trust in, and he will prevent you being caught in a trap.

²² So they shalbe life to thy soule, and grace vnto thy necke.

²³ Then shalt thou walke safely by thy way: and thy foote shall not stumble.

²⁴ If thou sleepest, thou shalt not bee afraide, and when thou sleepest, thy sleepe shalbe sweete.

²⁵ Thou shalt not feare for any sudden feare, neither for the destruction of the wicked, when it commeth.

²⁶ For the Lord shall be for thine assurance, and shall preserue thy foote from taking.

²² So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

²³ Then shalt thou walk in thy way securely, and thou shalt not dash thy foot.

²⁴ When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid; yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

²⁵ Be not afraid of sudden terror, neither of the destruction of the wicked, when it cometh;

²⁶ For the LORD will be thy confidence, and will keep thy foot from being caught.

²⁵ Thou needest not to be afraid of sudden dread, neither of the unlooked-for tempest over the wicked, when it cometh.

²⁶ For the Lord will be thy confidence, and he will guard thy foot from being caught.

²² That thy soul may live, And that there may be grace round thy neck;

²⁵ Don’t be afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes:

²⁶ for Adonai will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.

²² They will be life to your soul and an adornment of favor to wear around your neck.

²³ Then you will walk on your way in safety and your foot will not stumble;

²⁴ when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

²⁵ Do not be afraid of sudden terror or devastation caused by the wicked, when it comes,

²⁶ for Yahweh will be on your side and will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.

²² so they will be life to your soul, and grace for your neck.

²³ Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.

²⁴ When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.

²⁴ If thou shalt sleep, thou shalt not dread; thou shalt rest, and thy sleep shall be soft or and sweet shall be thy sleep.

²⁵ Dread thou not of sudden fear, and the powers of wicked men falling in on thee.

²⁶ For the Lord shall be at thy side; and he shall keep thy foot, that thou be not taken.

²² and life shall be to thy soul, and grace to thy cheeks. (and thou shalt have life, and gain favour.)

²³ Then thou shalt go trustily in thy way (or Then thou shalt go with trust on thy way); and thy foot shall not stumble.

²⁴ If thou shalt sleep, thou shalt not dread; thou shalt rest, and thy sleep shall be soft or and sweet shall be thy sleep. (When thou shalt sleep, thou shalt not fear; thou shalt rest, and thy sleep shall be sweet.)

²⁵ Dread thou not of sudden fear, and the powers of wicked men falling in on thee. (Fear thou not sudden disaster, and the power, or the might, of the wicked falling in upon thee.)

²⁶ For the Lord shall be at thy side; and he shall keep thy foot (safe), that thou be not taken.

²² And they are life to thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

²³ Then thou goest thy way confidently, And thy foot doth not stumble.

²⁴ If thou liest down, thou art not afraid, Yea, thou hast lain down, And sweet hath been thy sleep.

²⁵ Be not afraid of sudden fear, And of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh.

²⁶ For Jehovah is at thy side, And He hath kept thy foot from capture.
