¹⁹ He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread; But he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

²⁰ A faithful man shall abound with blessings; But he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be unpunished.

²¹ To have respect of persons is not good; Neither that a man should transgress for a piece of bread.

²² He that hath an evil eye hasteth after riches, And knoweth not that want shall come upon him.

¹⁹ He that tills his own land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that follows idleness shall have plenty of poverty.

²⁰ A man worthy of credit shall be much blessed: but the wicked shall not be unpunished.

¹⁹ Farmers who work hard in their fields will produce good crops and always have plenty of food to eat, but those who spend all their time ◄on useless projects/doing things that do not benefit anyone► will become very poor.

²⁰ God will greatly bless those who ◄are trustworthy/always do what they say that they will do►, but he will certainly punish LIT those who try to become rich quickly.

²¹ It is not good for judges to decide matters unfairly/unjustly, but some people will do what is wrong even if they receive only a very small bribe HYP for doing it.

²² Selfish people IDM are very eager to become rich quickly; they do not realize that they will soon become poor.

²¹ He that knoweth a face in doom, doeth not well; this man forsaketh truth, yea, for a morsel of bread. (He who knoweth the person whom he is judging, doeth wrongly; this person deserteth the truth, yea, for a morsel of bread.)

²² A man that hasteth to be made rich, and hath envy to other men (or and hath envy of others), knoweth not that neediness shall come up on him.

¹⁹ Whoso is tilling his ground is satisfied with bread, And whoso is pursuing vanity, Is filled with poverty.

²⁰ A stedfast man hath multiplied blessings, And whoso is hasting to be rich is not acquitted.

²¹ To discern faces is not good, And for a piece of bread doth a man transgress.

²² Troubled for wealth is the man with an evil eye, And he knoweth not that want doth meet him.
