¹¹ The rich man is wise in his own conceit; But the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.

¹² When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.

¹³ He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper; But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy.

¹⁴ Happy is the man that feareth alway; But he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

¹⁵ As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear, So is a wicked ruler over a poor people.

¹⁶ The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor; But he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.

¹⁷ A man that is laden with the blood of any person Shall flee unto the pit; let no man stay him.

¹⁸ Whoso walketh uprightly shall be delivered; But he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.

¹² When righteous/good people ◄succeed/win elections►, everyone ◄celebrates/is happy►; but when wicked people win, everyone hides because they are afraid of what the wicked people will do.

¹³ Those who refuse to confess/admit their sins will not prosper, but God acts mercifully/kindly toward those who confess their sins and turn away from their sinful behavior.

¹⁴ God is pleased with those who always revere him, but those who are stubborn IDM will experience disasters.

¹⁵ Wicked people who mistreat poor people whom they rule are as dangerous to them as SIM a lion roaring at them or a bear springing up to attack them.

¹⁶ Rulers who do not have good sense cruelly oppress the people they rule, but rulers who do not want to become rich by cheating/deceiving people will live (OR, rule) for a long time.

¹⁷ Those who are guilty of murdering MTY another person will ◄be fugitives/keep running away► until they die; do not help them to escape.

¹⁸ Those who continually do what is right will be safe/protected, but those who are dishonest will suddenly be ruined.

¹⁹ Farmers who work hard in their fields will produce good crops and always have plenty of food to eat, but those who spend all their time ◄on useless projects/doing things that do not benefit anyone► will become very poor.

¹⁷ One who has been the cause of a man's death will go in flight to the underworld: let no man give him help.

¹⁸ He whose ways are upright will be safe, but sudden will be the fall of him whose ways are twisted.

¹⁹ By ploughing his land a man will have bread in full measure; but he who goes after good-for-nothing persons will be poor enough.

¹² When good people win, everyone celebrates, but when the wicked come to power, people hide.

¹³ People who hide their sins won't succeed, but those who confess and renounce their sins will be shown kindness.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who always respect the Lord, but those who are stubborn end up in a lot of trouble.

¹⁵ A wicked ruler lording it over poor people is like a roaring lion or a charging bear.

¹⁶ An unwise ruler thoroughly extorts his people, but one who refuses to profit illegally will live long.

¹⁷ Someone guilty of murder will go on running away from it until they die. Don't try and stop them.

¹⁸ If you have integrity, you'll be kept safe, but if you live deviously, you'll fall.

¹⁹ If you cultivate the land you'll have plenty of food, but if you chase fantasies you'll end up with nothing.

¹¹ The riche man is wise in his owne conceite: but the poore that hath vnderstanding, can trie him.

¹¹ A rich man seemeth wise to himself; but a poor man prudent shall search him out or know his counsel.

¹⁸ He that goeth simply shall be safe; he that goeth by wayward ways, shall fall down at once.

¹⁹ He that worketh his land, shall be filled with loaves; he that pursueth or followeth idleness, shall be filled with neediness.

¹⁷ No man sustain a man that falsely challengeth the blood of a man, (even) if he fleeth till to the pit. (Let no one protect someone who oppresseth unto the blood, that is, unto the murder, of another person, yea, let him flee into the pit.)

¹⁸ He that goeth simply shall be safe (or He who goeth honestly, or with integrity, shall be safe); (but) he that goeth by wayward ways, shall fall down at once.

¹⁶ A leader lacking understanding multiplieth oppressions, Whoso is hating dishonest gain prolongeth days.

¹⁷ A man oppressed with the blood of a soul, Unto the pit fleeth, none taketh hold on him.

¹⁸ Whoso is walking uprightly is saved, And the perverted of ways falleth at once.

¹⁹ Whoso is tilling his ground is satisfied with bread, And whoso is pursuing vanity, Is filled with poverty.
