¹⁷ A wicked messenger falleth into evil; But a faithful ambassador is health.

¹⁸ Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth correction; But he that regardeth reproof shall be honored.

¹⁹ The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; But it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.

²⁰ Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise; But the companion of fools shall smart for it.

¹⁷ A rash king shall fall into mischief: but a wise messenger shall deliver him.

¹⁸ Instruction removes poverty and disgrace: but he that attends to reproofs shall be honoured.

¹⁸ Neediness and shame is to him that forsaketh teaching; but he that assenteth to a blamer, shall be glorified. (Neediness and shame shall be for him who abandoneth his teaching, or his instruction; but he who assenteth to a rebuker, shall be honoured.)

¹⁹ Desire, if it is ful filled, delighteth the soul; fools loathe them that flee evils.

²⁰ He that goeth with wise men, shall be wise, (or He who goeth with the wise, shall be wise); the friend of fools shall be made like them.
