Leviticus 24:17-22

¹⁷And he that taketh the life of any man shall surely be put to death.

¹⁸And he that taketh the life of a beast shall make it good: beast for beast.

¹⁹And if a man cause a bodily defect in his neighbor, as he hath done, so shall be done to him;

²⁰Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: in the manner as he hath caused a bodily defect in a man, so shall it be done to him.

²¹And he that killeth a beast, shall make restitution for it; and he that killeth a man, shall be put to death.

²²One manner of judicial law shall ye have, the stranger shall be equal with one of your own country; for I am the Lord your God.
